Serialized Shipping Container Codes - SSCC use for STO

Does anyone used labels with Serialized Shipping Container Codes [SSCC] to be used for intercompany  STO's, in order to use scanning of SSCC in receiving plant WM to automate the warehouse process.
Did you have to use EDI / ASN's in order to accomplish this? or how did you do it?
My client wants to receive and use the same label [on the pallet in the receiving plant WM, since they will be full pallets going to SU managed Storage types.
Did you accomplish the same any other way. Please Help/explain.  Regards!

Hello again,
ok, meanwhile I have found all the answers myself:
- Several iDoc-types can be used, e.g. DELVRY05.
- The Idoc-field to be used is EXIDV in segment E1EDL37.
- The field in the delivery is EXIDV in table VEKP.
Just in case someone needs this...

  • What is SSCC(Serial Shipping Container Code)?

    Hi Gurus,
Can someone help me understand what is SSCC(Serial Shipping Container Code). We are to use the same in Process Industries.
    Regards,
    Amol Kale

    Hi Amol,
The Serial Shipping Container Code (Handling-Unit-Code) is an 18-digit number used to identify logistics units
    (standardized international despatch-code EAN-128)
This code is used for tracking and tracing in electronic commerce transactions in the supply chain.
This reference can be added to the logistical units as a barcode.
The SSCC is used in standard ERP applications and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), of both suppliers and customers. These applications will exchange the SSCC codes in their EDI-communication.
Upon goodsreceipt of a pallet in the warehouse the barcodes will be scanned and the WMS will display the pallet item-content.

  • What are the algorithem and container to be used for this problem?

Say I have a class with the following properties:
    groupMonth //String (jan,feb,mar)
    accumulatedLasyYear //double
    accumulatedThisYear //double
What will be the best container/algorithm to use for objects from the class above so I can have them sorted by month (I know its a string) AND GROUP the months together (and the accumulated as well)
    Example:
    Jan 4 8
    Feb 2 3
    Mar 5 2
    Jan 3 5
    Feb 4 2
    Mar 9 3
    The output should be:
    Jan 7 13 //(4+3, 8+5)
    Feb 6 5
    Mar 14 5
    Thanks for any thought

I'd suggest a java.util.Map<String, Set<WhateverClassYouveDefined>>. The keys are the year, the values are Sets containing all objects of that year. Iterate through your list of objects and group them into the right set using the map.
Then I'd suggest looping through the keys to get each month's worth. Since you know what all the keys will be in advance, and there's only twelve of them, create an array of the twelve month strings. Loop through that array, and for each value grab the corresponding Set from the map.
Then for each set you get, iterate through its contents, get the values, and add them.
Then just print the month and the sums of values from the set, and go on to the next month.

  • What Message type and Process Code to use for Purchase Order Change in 4.6C

I like to implement in SAP R/3 4.6C a scenario for Purchase Order Change, via inbound IDoc.
I have been searching, but could not find what Message Type, Idoc Basic Type and Process Code to use.
I can not imagine this functionality does not exist in 4.6C.
Any suggestions for my problem are welcome.

    Hello,
In this case you should use the message PORDCH and BAPI method BAPI_PO_CHANGE but only exist as of release 4.7.
    Function module    BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1
    Idoc Type              PORDCH01
    Message Type      PORDCH
So check carefully the following OSS notes:
[Notes 589066 - BAPI_PO_CHANGE: Incorrect account assignment to network |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/589066] (not be fooled by the description)

  • Variant config can be used for STO orders

If the object dependecy assigned in super BOM , when we create a sale order for config material ( header material ) the characteristics field will appear based on that we can select accordingly
The similar concept can be applicable for STO orders also or not
During creation of STO for the supplying plant whether the characteristics field will appear or not

There is no need for the Characteristic value entry screen pop-up on ur STO. The STO will be a result of some Order, where the pop-up would already have been configured using the char's.
Your STO is just the vehicle to replenish the demand against an order.
Let me know if you have more questions
    cheers

  • Transaction code against used for BADI BAPI Details

    Hi Gurus,
How to find in Particular transaction Active BAPI and BADI  used Details.
    Pls, Advise me.
    Regards,
    Jeevan.

    Hi Jeevan,
Your question is not clear. Please elaborate more on the requirement. As far as I understand BAPI are independent of any transaction and those are mainly used for communication between SAP and Non-SAP system.
BADI's are transaction dependent. You can use SE18/19 to find out active implementation for BADI.
    Thanks,
    Augustin.

  • Urgent pls ! Error during Container code generation using weblogic.ejbc

    HI all,
Iam using weblogic6.1 and EJB 2.0. I have to communicate session and entity ejb's and iam using local interfaces for entity beans and access the entity beans thru session ejb's. After creating my programs and jar files, when i use java weblogic.ejbc code.jar Containercode.jar, i get the following error....
    --------- Error -------------
    C:\Sathish\Ejb\wl6.1\LocalInterfaces\Code\ejbcgen\CodeBean_tvm2r0_ELOImpl.java:34
    0: cannot resolve symbol
    symbol : constructor EJBException (java.lang.String,java.lang.Exception)
    location: class javax.ejb.EJBException
    throw new javax.ejb.EJBException("Unexpected exception in " +
    ^
    1 errors
    Exec failed .. exiting
Can anyone say why this error is occuring......
    regards
    sathish

In J2EE 1.3, EJBException added a third constructor of the form:
    EJBException(java.lang.String, java.lang.Exception)
WebLogic contains a file called j2ee12.jar in the lib directory that when placed in front of the classpath, disables J2EE 1.3 features and replaces them with J2EE 1.2. In J2EE 1.2 this constructor did not exist.
So in order to compile using J2EE 1.3 features, you must make sure that j2ee12.jar is not in your classpath.

  • Vendor code in EKKO for STO (Doc UB)

    Hi,
I was checking the POs in table EKKO having document type UB i.e. STO within a company code between two plants.
What I have observed is, there is supplying plant which is correct. But for some POs, it is showing plant code (which is my vendor code as a supplying plant) & for some POs it is not.
And this is not for any specific plant. Say for Plant A, it is showing vendor code for one item & not showing for another item.
In which case, vendor code gets updated in table EKKO & in which case , it is not?
    Regards,
    Piyush

I asked about the order date.
usually UB orders do not need vendors, as it is for intra company transfers only.
however, if your plant starts to do stock transfers (NB) with plants belonging to another company code then a vendor master is needed. And this vendor gets assigned to a plant (in vendor master purchsing data view  via menu Extras)
Once this assignment is made, any order will get the vendor number.
Thats why I asked if all orders for the same supplying plant with vendor numbers  are younger than the order without vendor number.

  • Serial nos not to appear only for STO delivery

    Hi All,
We have set up serialziation for Finished products. We have set up the serial no. profile so that serial no. entry is mandatory during delivery (only).
Now the client doesnt want the serial nos. to appear for deliveries created for stock transfer process.
    How can this be done?
Can we set up some contol the the delivery type level?

    Hi,
There is no such direct solution for control serial number assignment on basis of delivery, but I think still we can fulfill this requirement.
    In OIS2
For serialization procedure maintain serial usage none or optional,so it will not be mandatory/required
Then now incompleteness procedure is based on delivery document type and delivery document item
So through this you can make it mandatory for required delivery delivery type/item and exclude it from STO

There are three actionPerformed in that program. One for add Jbutton , Sort , and Exit
the codes that i have added for add button after action performed are
    String name = txtName.getText();
    String id = txtID.getText();
    String age = txtAge.getText();
    Student s = new Student ( name , id , age);
    System.out.println(s);
the codes for Exit button to make it works properly was :
    System.out.println(0);
But when i came to Sort Button and i tried to enter many codes but it didn't sort properly so would you like to help me with the right codes :)

  • How can same vendor code be used for domestic & import purchases?

    Hi
We have a vendor who was initially supplying domestic goods but now we are also going to import goods from him.
The Client doesnt want two separate vendor codes since they cannot get composite balance for domestic as well as for imports under one vendor code.
I do understand we cannot have two different Reconcilliation accounts for one vendor code even and if we have just one reconcilliation account we cannot bifurcate domestic and foreign purchases.
    Please suggest.
    Regards
    Kapil

    Hi,
It is not possible to change the reconciliation account (SpGL or alternative account) in MIRO transaction. Of course you can make some modifications in MIRO in order to open for changes field "G/L account" on "Details" screen, but if you should not foget to modify MR8M.
Another alternative is to repost the MIRO documents (vendor oen items) to the alternative reconcilation account with FB01.
