"series driver is offline"

WIndows 8, Officejet 4620 all in one, Norton Internet security only,  no other firewalls.
Replaced a router, before which it printed on the old router - netgear to netgear
Connected the printer to the new router NO PROBLEM
Get the above referenced error message when trying to print
Uninstall/Reinstall software
Run the Print Doctor app, at the end print a test page - comes through just fine
Attempt to print my document and again get the above error message
I thought it was a firewall problem but when the test page printed it confused me. So I did not disable the firewall to test for that possibility.
What am I missing...
Thank you,
Suebear

Hi Suebear, I seen your post about you getting an error message "Uninstall/Reinstall software" with your Officejet 4620 after you replaced your router. I am going to recommend uninstalling the software, restarting your computer and then reinstalling the software using HP's Printer Install Wizard. I will provide you links below to help you do all of that.
Good luck!

  • "Drive is offline" message in Missing Disks window

    Hello support person,
When I try to open my project I get a Missing Disks window and the message says: To preserve the integrity of the data used by Final Cut Pro HD, it is necessary to ensure the existence of the following path(s): 'Justine's Drive' is offline. The options the window message gives are: "Quit", "Check Again" and the highlighted one is "Reset Scratch Disks" The first window that pops up before the Missing Disks one is an External AV window which says unable to locate the following external devices: Apple FireWire NTSC (720 x 480) Your system configuration may have changed, or your deck/camera may be disconnected or turned off. Please check connections .... And as I have done throughout working on the project after the initial digitizing process with my camera, I have clicked "Continue" on this window but this time the Missing Disks window comes up.
My external drive called "Justine's Drive" is mounted and appears on the desk top. I have tried to dismount and unplug the drive and then to just open/launch Final Cut Pro HD (Academic 4.5) straight from the applications folder in my laptop's hard drive but I get the same messages and Final Cut will not even open independent of the project.
The last time I worked on the computer (yesterday) everything was fine. The only thing is that I transported the laptop and drive to another location. But I had them well protected and didn't drop them or anything...
Hope you can help. Thank you.

  • Register information on X series driver for encoder

    Hi All:
I am working on the X series driver development by using MHDDK. After comparing M series and X series I found that theere is a Gi_Save_Trace bit in register Gi_Command_Register in M series. When it is set, the register goes into the latched mode after the next clock edge to assure valid data was latched. However, I can't find equivalent register bit in all X series counter registers.
Can anyone tell me what is the equivalent register bit for same function that Gi_Save_Trace does?
    Thanks,
    Larry

    Hi PedroMunoz,
Actually, I wanted to post it at DDK forum. I don't know why it is shown here. I may need to do it again.
    Thanks,

  • HP deskjet D2300 series driver not working in windows 7

This procedure is much too complicated for an average user. You know that millions of Wondow XP users are switching to Windows 7. I' sure that most of them are facing similar problems. HP should come with a user friendly solution that solves the above issues. Don't you think?
    My problem remains unsolved.

    Hi dvh,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that your HP Deskjet D2300 series driver not working in windows 7.
Do you see any error messages with the installer? Or does it just close out and doesn't install?
In the meantime, please try using our HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.
Hope to hear back from you, and have a great day!

  • Please could you tell me what DLT/SDLT/Ultrium series drive works with Sun Fire V880 with SCSI Sun X

Please could you tell me what DLT/SDLT/Ultrium series drive works with Sun Fire V880 with SCSI Sun X6540A?
The question is URGENT because we need to do backup/restore of our Databases but we have not backup device...
We want to buy it but we don't know what exactly drives we can choose for our Sun with X6540A SCSI card.

    Hello,
the X6540A is a Dual Single-Ended Ultra/Wide SCSI (PCI) controller. The controller is only upto 40MB/sec, which might be suficient for a SDLT600 or LTO-2.
Every Single-Ended SCSI device works with this card, <b>but</b> performance would be low when using LVD/SE devices (some LVD devices can't operate in SE mode!)
I would suggest that you call Sun Sales.
I guess that the <b>PCI/PCI-X Dual Ultra320 SCSI Adapter</b> (SG-XPCI2SCSI-LM320) or <b>PCI Dual Ultra3 SCSI Host Adapter (LVD)</b> (X6758A) are a better choice if attaching more recent drives.
This is the <b> Sun Fire V880 - Full Components List</b>.

  • HP CP1520 Series driver's RAM configuration

    Hi there!
I got myself a HP LaserJet CP1525n color and a RAM upgrade to this printer. In the "HP LaserJet CP1520 Series" driver dialouge, one can choose 128, 192 or 256 MB RAM but not my configuration (which is 384MB).
    What am I missing?
    Thanks in advance
    Kind regards
      Steffen

I would suggest that the values shown are "what size is the RAM you are adding", rather than "what is the total size of RAM in the printer". So if the printer already has 128MB as standard and you add 256MB, then you get the 384MB you mention.
Also, I think that regardless of what value you select, you will be able to print. The amount of RAM you set probably has no or a small amount of constraints that it sets for printing. This can be determined by checking the PPD for the printer in a text editor.

  • HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series wireless reads offline

I just installed the HP Officejet 6500 E709n Series on my HP Pavilion (Vista 32 bit) and I use a Linksys router. The install appeared to be successful, but I cannot print. All my other wireless devices are online and working as expected.
I get the messages the 'printer is offline' , 'document failed to print' and 'printer is disconnected'. I've run through the HP guided solutions and the only thing that it appeared that I needed to change was the port - from 'HP_192.168.1.105... Standard TCP/IP' to 'USB001 Virtual...'. According to the guide everything else was configured properly. Any guidance would much be appreciated.
    Thanks

I am having this exact same problem with our Officejet 6500 E709n. Our printer is connected to a Cradlepoint CTR500 wireless router with WPA encryption. The primary device that uses this printer is a HP Probook Windows 7 Pro 32bit laptop that is also connected wirelessly. We use Symantec Endpoint Protection for antivirus only, no firewall is installed with this Symantec product. Windows 7 Firewall is on, but I have tried shutting this off also.
The 6500 constantly either disappears from the laptop (requiring a reinstall or on occasion a reboot works) -or- sometimes the unit will print but the "HP Solution Center" does not open and says that the printer is not fully installed. On occasions where a reboot fixes it, the printer ALWAYS shows up "use printer offline" so we need to go uncheck that also. I have called HP and used the chat option 4 times now and get nowhere. Every time I am instructed to reinstall the software (on occasion I am prompted to use L2 and L3 of the uninstall utility) but it ALWAYS happens again in a few days or weeks.
I can always ping the 6500, access it with a web browser, etc. The device has a hard coded IP address. Something tells me that the HP software is searching for the printer at bootup, and removes it when it is not found. The delay the laptop experiences in connecting to the wireless network might be preventing the software from finding the printer each time, or perhaps the fact that the device hibernates or moves to another network where the printer is not present.
If there is a solution to this, PLEASE let me know. Otherwise I am more than likely going to simply replace this device as the time saved in troubleshooting this will save us money.

  • Drive with Offline Files folder not available for 2 minutes after being connected to the network.

    Hi
We use Windows SP1 with one folder from the User HomeDirectory set to be available offline.
The problem we encounter is that when going from Offline to Online via VPN, there is a 2 minutes delay for the drive where the offline folder is located to be available again. Other drives mapped at VPN connection time are available immediately
after we applied KB2705233. Only the drive that contains the folder that we make available offline has this delay issue.
I found out KB2663418 but it does not apply as we have Windows 7 SP1. However the symptoms are the same:
< This issue occurs because the client-side caching (CSC) interface tries to reconnect to the source before the network is actually available. This behavior causes the SMB cache to enter a negative state. In this situation, the CSC interface tries to
reconnect to the source on the next 2-minute retry interval.>
Does one know how to force a check of the connectivity or if there is another fix available ?
    thanks in advance
    bruno

    Hi,
Why KB2663418 didn't applied to your computer? It applied to
Windows 7 Service Pack 1, when used with:
    Windows 7 Enterprise
    Windows 7 Professional
    Windows 7 Ultimate
Did you use Windows 7 Home Basic or Home Premium?  However, Windows 7 Home Basic and Premium does not support Offline Files.
    Thus please try that hotfix.

  • Agilent Technologies 2000 3000 X-series Driver Example Timeout

I am running the example VIs, "Acquire Waveform.vi" and "Acquire Waveform Continuously.vi," that come with the Agilent Technologies Oscilloscope driver "Agilent 2000 3000 X-series."
While my issue and attempts at dealing with it are detailed in the attatched pdf, I will outline them here. When I run either of these example VIs, the initalize the scope without error, and they succesfully run the Auto setup VI, but whenever the VI attempts to read data from the scope, it exceeds the maximum allowed time for any reasonable value I input. I get the following error:
    "Error 1073807339 at VISA read in Agilent 2000 3000 X-series.lvlib: wait for acquisition complete.vi->Agilent 200300 X-series.lvlib: read wave forms (single).vi-> 2000 3000 X-series Acquire save forem.vi
Possible reasons: VISA (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation complete"
I ran the VI with several inputs for maximum time, starting from 1ms and working my way up to 1,000,000ms. I get the same error for all of these except the longest time, in which case the error reads "The connection for the given signal has been lost" (not surprising, 16 minutes is a long time)
Additionally, I have to power cycle my scope to regain control after running this VI. I assume (hope) that this is a related issue and once the VI no longer times out, the scope will function normally.
I have looked through the existing forum posts related to this and found a few that weren't close enough or weren't answered satisfactorily, however, if you think I have missed something in that regard, please feel free to tell me or post a link to that particular thread.
Any tips tricks and advice would be greatly appreciated and kudos will be given to helpful posts.

Thanks. You don't have a complete communication failure then.
I know I've used this scope and driver without any problems but the interface was probably GPIB. The USBTMC driver is supposed to emulate the GPIB protocol. I don't know if the issue is with agilent's implementation or something else. I would first make sure you have the latest driver and firmware from them. I would then try it on a Windows machine. Maybe someone else has other ideas.

  • Looking for a NICOLET BE490 Series Driver for WIN- NT

    Hi,
is there anybody, who has written a driver for the NICOLET BE490 Series
    Transient Recorder Board.
    Geetings Ruediger

    Hello,
I just visited the Nicolet website and found an information sheet on this device that mentions "import and export capability" with LabVIEW...perhaps Nicolet can provide you with some LabVIEW resources to use this board.
On another note...I took a look at the specifications for this device, and it looks like it would be more than adequately matched in performance by our E Series measurement devices, which integrate seamlessly with LabVIEW through our free NI-DAQ software. I recommend you visit www.ni.com/daq for more information about our high-class DAQ products.
Good luck with your application, and have a pleasant day.

  • Windows 8 Mapped Drives Disappear - Offline Cache

    Hi,
We have a Windows 8 machine that has a mapped network drive and we enabled this to be "always available".
When the laptop is connected to the domain the mapped drive is there fine, and you can see that the offline file symbol is on the network folder! However when you reboot the machine and it is not connected to the network the folder disappears from My Computer!
If I then open "run" and type the folder path of the server where this mapped drive is mapped to i am able to view the files fine so they are there and working offline but not via My Computer or the drive letter.
    I have tried the following:
    Disable and re-enable offline files
Remove all offline files and then re-sync
    Any suggestions very much appreciated!
    Thanks

    Check the Sync Center settings.
    Control Panel --> Sync Center
Click Manage offline files and select the General tab.
Verify that the status is showing enabled.

  • Problem in data acquisition for cRIO-9076 wth c series drive interface module 9516

I am using LabVIEW for my project i.e., the speed control (using PID) of a motor and want to create a vi for the same.
The specifications of the products being used are as follows:
    1) Motor: AKM24F (dc motor)
    2) CompactRIO: cRIO-9076
    3) C Series Servo Drive Interface: NI-9516
I am facing problem regarding the real time interface between the motor and PID block in labVIEW i.e. in the data acquisition part to be specific. Please suggest a way in which I can successfully acquire the analog data(speed) from the motor and vice versa in the vi.

What is the priority of the VI you're running?  I'd be concerned that maybe you've starved out the ethernet transmit thread or something.

  • AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series Driver for windows 7 x64

    Hi everybody,
    I have an
    HP Pavilion g6-2297se Notebook PC
and Iim going to  reinstalled on it Windows 7  Ultimate (64bit). Thanks to this forum I have found all the drivers that I need except the drivers for AMD Radeon HD 7600M Series.
and  I'd like to know the best order for install  driverse  on the system
    Can someone help me?

    Hi:
You can use all of the W7 x64 drivers and software from the g6t-2000 on yours.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE FILES FROM THIS MODEL
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5278...
Recommended order of installation for the first 4:
    1. Intel chipset installation utility and reboot.
    2. AMD graphics driver and reboot.  Note:  This installs the drivers for both the AMD and Intel GPU's.
    3. IDT Audio driver and reboot.
    4. Realtek ethernet driver and reboot.
Then you can install whatever else you need in any order you want.

  • Upgraded hard drive - masters offline

I just completed a hard drive upgrade on my Macbook Pro. It's running OS X 10.7.2 and Aperture 3.2.2.
My main library has about 13,000 photos in it, and they're all referenced Masters.
About 1/2 of the masters were online at the time of the upgrade.
I upgraded the hard drive by cloning my old drive over to a newer, larger drive using Apple's Disk Utility.
Everything worked great, except for one thing: none of my Aperture Masters is online anymore.
The files are all there, and I can reconnect them, but I have about 100 projects, and I'd prefer to do this in one fell swoop.
    Would rebuilding the Library work?
    Exasperated...

I'd prefer to do this in one fell swoop
Create a smart album with the single rule
Add Rule:    file status is "offline"   (or missing)
Then select all images in the album at one.
In the "File -> Locate Referenced File" window select the first missing image and point it to the correct master image in the file chooser. Then reconnect. If you are lucky, you can reconnect all at once this way - usually Aperture is very smart with this ...
I don't think rebuilding the library would help, reconnecting is the correct tool for this kind of problem.
    Regards
    Léonie
P.S. what you should have done - too late now, but just that you know the next time what to do - move the masters from the old drive to the new drive by "relocating" them using Aperture, and not by copying them using disk utility.
P.P.S. Sometimes broken references are caused by wrongly formatted drives. Is your new drive formatted MacOS extended?
