Series from computer type?

Hello to Lenovo community.
This is an excellent forum that helped me a lot ,but I didn't find answer to this question.
This is actually more of documentation that technical request.
I have a list of Lenovo laptops - models and serail numbers.
Thing is ,I need to have the series of these.
For example ,module no. 7470 ,series is X200s.
Does anybody know how can I get this data instead of going to Lenovo site ,typing models data and sn ,one-by-one ,for each computer ,to get series number?
That would be much appreciated.

Got your link ,pasted data from PDF files to XLS file and filled in the rest.
Now I have series no. for the computers (only ours).

same Thread I post in "Portal Developement". Now I try my luck in ths category...
we implement ESS (ERP2004 with WebDynpros) in our testsystem, but we got an error and don´t know what to do...
System Landscape:
- mySAP Enterprise Portal 6.0 SP17
- Java Application Server (excluding from HR)
- mySAP ERP2004 HR-System
The Connections from the portal runs to the Java-App-Server, not direct to the HR-System (HR-System has no Java Installation and our Customer don´t want a installation, because it could be a bad performance)
We implement the Jco´s and fill out the usermapping. If we want to call the firstpage of the new ESS-Role we get this error.
Can anyone help us? Do we need some installations?

uhm... good question, long time ago...
Error should be in the JCO-Destinations, where you can choose a targetsystem for each Jco-Destination.
Since them we installed a java on the abap-system, so we have a doublestack.
In the Jco Destiantions must be the ABAP-System.
Application via SAPTicket and MetaData via fix User like DDIC.

Hello! I have in my home 2 iMac, 2 iPad, 2 iPhone, and 1 air base extreme. I don't succeed to connect more than one divice from similar type. I tried everything what I knew. I build another network, etc...
So only one imac, only one ipad..and so on simultain.
More over, all the divices are conect through wifi to air base but are not receiveing internet as i told above.
I need to disconnect one device to have internet on the second one from the same type!
Could somebody help me?

If your network configuration is:
Cable modem > (Ethernet cable) > [WAN] AEBS > (wireless) > Macs, then
AirPort Extreme Base Station Setup (AEBS) w/High-Speed Cable Modem
Modem/Router Power ReCycling
- Power-off the Cable modem, AEBS, & computer(s). (If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
- Power-on the Cable modem; Wait at least 30 minutes.
- Power-on the AEBS; Wait at least 5 minutes.
- Power-on the computer(s)
Perform a "hard" reset of the AEBS.

Setup the AEBS
With the network components powered down, set up the AEBS, using the AirPort Admin Utility, connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the LAN port of the AEBS, and then, try these settings:
AirPort tab
- Base Station Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- AirPort Network Name: <whatever you wish or use the default>
- Create a closed network (unchecked)
- Wireless Security: Not enabled
- Channel: Automatic
- Mode: 802.11b/g Compatible
Internet tab
- Connect Using: Ethernet
- Configure: Using DHCP
- WAN Ethernet Port: Automatic
Network tab
- Distribute IP addresses (checked)
- Share a single IP address (using DHCP & NAT) (enabled)
Once you verified that you can get Internet access for all of your computers, you should secure your wireless network. To do so, I suggest that you make these changes:
AirPort tab (optional)
- Create a closed network (checked)
Change Wireless Security
- Wireless Security: WPA Personal
Base Station Options - WAN Ethernet Port
- Enable SNMP Access (unchecked)
- Enable Remote Configuration (unchecked)
- Enable Remote Printer Access (unchecked)
Wireless Options
- Transmitter Power: 10%
Access Control tab (optional)
- + <add the computer(s) that will access this wireless network>

I assume you have enabled Web Services from the front of the printer?
First, try restarting your router by pulling its power plug momentarily.
If that does not work, let's set a static IP address & external DNS for the printer:
- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. You need to set an IP address outside the range that the router automatically sets (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') to 250
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway.
- Enter 8.8.8.8 for the first DNS and 8.8.4.4 for the second DNS.
- Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID

Trying to restore from computer or cloud

help im trying to restore from computer or cloud and im told i have the wrong password

I just spent 3 hrs with AT&T tech support. No visual voicmail! i wiped phone 3 times, reset. everything no visual voicemail.
I can access it through dialing holding down 1 then enter password, bu t Visual voicemail is DEAD. ATT says apple has major bug and fix won't be out until OCT 5th.
If you Google it it lights up like a cristmas tree! Verizon is also inodated.
1. Fake Map app usless Apple is fixing it though
2. Batt is a joke, last like 2 hrs
3. No visual voicemail
4. Face time on ATT no longer works on cellular data per apple design.
We need Steve Jobs!! he would have fired somebody for all these mistakes.
Nopw i am locked into crashing my car because i have to type in numbers to here voicemails.
Come on Apple send us a rebate or a Iphone 5 that meets the specs stated on the box and advertisments.!!
We love Apple and dedicated, but this one is a joke.
Not to mention you jacked us all being locked into 2 year plans with Verizon or ATT.

You can PDFs to the iPad, but first you need one or more apps on the iPad that supports PDFs - unlike a 'normal' computer the iPad doesn't have a file system, and everything on it has to be associated with an app.
Options include free apps such as Apple's iBooks app and also Adobe Reader - and paid-for apps such as GoodReader (which also supports read-only of other documents types).
For iBooks you can first add the PDFs to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library, and you can then sync them by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and using the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync them.

If you sync with iTunes on your computer - connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Click on the iPad name on the left side. Then at the top of iTunes go to Store>Check for available downloads. See if the TV shows will download there and then sync them to the iPad.
If you don't sync with iTunes, try signing out of your account, restart the iPad, sign in again and then try to download the shows again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to download again.

Connect the iPhone to your computer and select it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which is Apps - if you select that tab then you should be able to select which of your apps to sync to the phone (assuming that the apps are compatible with the phone e.g. you have the relevant IOS version on it). If you have bought/downloaded apps on your phone that aren't on your computer's iTunes then you may want to copy them to your computer's iTunes first via File > Transfer Purchases

After a series of computer problems and rebuilds, CS6 will not accept my serial number? How do I

I have had a series of computer rebuilds and finally replaced the computer, but CS6 will now not accept my serial number. How do I contact Adobe to correct this?

Get their phone number from their main web pages (start by clicking the red Adobe icon on this page). Look for Contact Us links. The phone numbers don't jump out and shout at you but neither are they hidden.
When you get Customer Support on the phone, describe what you've been through and ask them nicely to make BOTH your allowed activations available to you once again.

My officejet 4500 g510n-z wont print faxes or from copy or scan. It prints perfect from computer.

my officejet 4500g510n-z suddenly wont print incoming faxes, or from copy or scan. It prints perfectly from computer. it also wont print fax reports or test pages. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing with software disc, still no go.what do i need to do please?

Let's set a static IP address for the printer:
- Print a Network Config Page from the front of the printer. Note the printer's IP address.
- Type that IP address into a browser to reveal the printer's internal settings.
- Choose the Networking tab, then Wireless along the left side, then the IPv4 tab.
- On this screen you want to set a Manual IP. Let's us 192.168.1.100 for your printer.
- Use 255.255.255.0 for the subnet (unless you know it is different, if so, use that)
- Enter your router's IP (on the Network Config Page) for the gateway and first DNS. Leave the second one blank.
- Click 'Apply'.
Now, shut down the router and printer, start the router, wait, then start the printer.
After this you may need to redo 'Add a Printer' using the new IP address.

I'm getting the following warning after closing my LabVIEW application (see also LabVIEW code snippet attached).
Can you help me figure out if this may be relevant?
I don't experience anything unexpected, also no leaking of memory.

Hello Peter,
as you can imagine, it is difficult for us to interpret an error message without a certain amount of information.
Even more, when you cannot reproduce it yourself every time.
And, on a side note, we as Application Engineers do not know how exactly the compiler works.
This could be something for the developers, but: to escalate an issue to the developers, there are some requirements.
- we have to know exactly when and how the error occurs, i.e. the exact steps which have to be done, so you can force the error to show up
- exact OS, LabVIEW version, all NI Software which is installed
- what is the application
- what has been done as troubleshooting actions, can the issue be avoided somehow
- we would need your VI or project, or at least a minimal version of them, which can produce the error message
- one of us should be able to reproduce the procedure and get the same error
I am sorry, but at this point, it seems like I cannot do much for you in this topic.

Computer Type on look

The look I'm going for is a futuristic computer type on effect. I've seen a few examples in AE that have green text and venetian blinds effects added to make them look like an old CRT screen. I've also found an AE/FCP plugin called Text Anarchy 2.0 that can do any number of things like this and add cool effects like a running text cursor, etc. You can check it out here under, "Four chices of cursor":

However, Text Anarchy 2.0 costs $150 and I'd like to use Motion instead if at all possible.
I know that Motion has type on, but I'm not getting very far coming up with something for this look. So, could anyone tell me if it's possible to do something like this? I'd especially like to have a running cursor if at all possible.

from memory...
there are two timing issues. Firstly the write on of the text. That was easy, you can keyframe this form the text inspector. I set the start point and from the Layout tab in the inspector for text, I set the End of the Write On parameter to zero. I go to where I want it to finish wroting on in the timeline and keyframe the End to its highest number. Then the text writes on. it is easy to change the time now, as i can simply drag the last keyframe around in the timeline ( make sure you have keyframes set to visible in the timeline)
The blinking cursor was the hard part. I created a rectangle, and added an Oscillate behaviour to its opactiy to make it blink. And i set its mode to subtract so it would invert the letter it was sitting on top of. But I had to keyframe the position of the cursor so it matched the write on of the text. This wasnt hard but just time consuming, and not good if you wanted to chage the text or the timing of it. You turn the red record events button on and move the rectangle evry frame or so to match the position of the last letter of the text writing on.
I then added a Stripes generator over the whole thing to give it that computer monitor look.
It is quite complicated i guess, does nayone else know a better way to animate the cursor?
