Series recordings changed to manual

A recent software update seems to have caused most (not all) of my scheduled series recordings to now appear as "Manual Recording" entries in the Series Manager. This quite annoying, since it makes it much more difficult to modify the order preference since most of the entries now all look the same.
Why did this affect some series and not others? Some of them had been scheduled for quite some time, while others just recently. Most series recordings are configured to record new episodes only.

We had the same thing happen after the update that was rolled out last month. Most of the showes that switched to this Manual Series title are series set up for recording during previous seasons that are not currently in the schedule - Warehouse 13, Hot Set, Top Chef, etc; but about 20% are series currently running - Chopped, Hell's Kitchen, CSI...
We can certainly recreate the series that are currently in the schedule, but what about the series further out that there's no way to know when they will start up?
Not seeing anything about it in notices, and we're concerned so we'll probably call...not that we'll ever get a real answer.

Well I thought the new Cisco DVR would be similar (but better) than the Motorola, but although it seems to be working all right, and I have recorded lots of series, there is nothing listed in the Manage Series Recordings list, so I can't change priority levels . As I just set up the series recordings when I thought of them or accidentally found them, I really need to get some sensible priority to the list, but the list is not there!
Does anyone have any thoughts about this? I've already rebooted and as I had to do that a lot with my previous Motorola that kept switching itself off and having to be rebooted I don't want to get into a constantly rebooting cycle. Thanks

I changed from manually manage music to create more space, and lost a LOT of my music from my current Itunes library. I HAVE to have that music back! How do I go about getting the missing/lost files back on my library and IPod?

I changed from manually managing music to create more space on my IPod and lost a lot of the my music since it synched with another library. ( I think off another long gone computer!) I HAVE to get this music back! There are songs I can no longer find! How do I get this "Cannot locate file for this song" music back on my ITunes library and IPod?

How to change the manual condition type value in change sales order BAPI

Hi All,
My scenario here is, i want to either add/change the manual condition type value during change of SO.
When i'm trying to pass the order_conditions_in and order_conditions_inx tables in 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE'.
Condition type is coming at item level but the value is setting to zero. Pls. help if anyone has any idea how to handle this.

Series Recordings - missing episodes

Is anyone else having issues with series recordings at the moment? I'm having to delete a series link then re-apply to pick up future episodes for some programmes. The programmes I am having issues include Merlin, Hells Kitchen and now Spooks. Is this a known bug?

Yes just happened to me. The series recording is still there but it's missed all the programmes it was supposed to record

No idea what you mean by the firsy part of your question.
Documents edited on the Mac need manually uloading to iCloud at iCloud.com,documents edited on the mobile devices are updated automatically.

What you are missing is that files have no order - you view them using a program and that program creates the order
When viewing in an iPhoto album you can sort manually and iPhoto will display the photos as you sorted them - but when you move to a different program (the finder for example) you have a totally different set of sorts available - for example in the finder the same set of files can be viewed in alpha order, in size order, in date modified order, etc - none of those are inherent in the file but are sorts set under the view menu
So to meet your requirements you must export with file attributes that allow the finder view options to present your desired view - which is what volunteers here have tried to help with - even though it really does not involve IPhoto in any way

I don't know why it says that I use firefox 4... When I check in my About window it says 18.
I do ignore the message about the plugins. But I've started to get a little bit annoyed that I have to move up and press the little x every time I navigate to a site that needs something like flash. It eats up the size of about two text rows... it feels so unnecessary that it's there. If I want flash I will install it... The browser doesn't have to inform me about it every time.
I really hoped for a better answer. Hopefully the firefox crew will add an option to not show that kind of messages in the future.

Windows confuses iPod with network drive and may keep iPod from mounting or songs may seem to disappear

Has there been a change to manually manage music and videos?

Does anyone know if there has been a change to iTunes with regard to how to manually manage media files?
I am almost positive that in order to manually manage music, books, videos, etc. you selected the Summary tab for your iDevice when you plugged it into iTunes and then you selected sync on the specific tabs for the media you wanted to have control over.
But recently when I did this for my iPhone 4S the check boxes for music, videos and books all became un-checked. So I would re-check music and have to reinstall all of my songs and playlists because this would cause iTunes to want to delete all the songs on my phone. I would then check the box on the books tab and go through the same process of reinstalling all my books. When I went back to the music tab the check box was unchecked again!

I played with this for a number fo hours trying to figure out how to get this all to work the way it used to and discovered that by checking the box for Manage Music and Videos on the summary tab and leaving the other tabs un-checked I was able to manage my media files myself (Which was my goal to begin with).
Am I remembering this wrong? Or has the interface changed in iTunes for how to manually manage my media files?

No, iTunes has not changed the way it works.

This is correct (and the way it has always worked).
Because you are not Manually managing the items on the iDevice, you cannot select them on the iDevice.
Check the box to manually manage then drag from iTunes to the device.
Or you can uncheck manually manage, create a few playlists (then simply add/delete from these playlists to change iDevice content) and still drag items to the device. They will show up under the respective tab under Manually added items.

Cannot set status of Urgent Change after manual transport

Hi all,
We are usng CHARM in Solution Manager 7.1 for import to the SAP ECC (EHP6) systems.
I cannot set the status of the Urgent Change document (ZMHF) to status "To be Tested" after the transports were manually released and manually imported to the ECC QA system.
When I use action "Pass Urgent Change to Test", the system stopped with error "Not all task are yet released" and will not change the status .
Based, on the Task List log, the system started the release process although no transports were released.
Is there any way that I can update the status of the Urgent Change document to "To be Tested"?
I tried program CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT but still did not change the status.
Any suggestion?

have a look under System Administration - System Configuration -- Knowledge Management -- Configuration --Content Management -- User Interface -- Commands -- UI Command Groups -- StatemanagementGroup.
See Java class: com.sapportals.wcm.rendering.uicommand.cm.UIStatemanagementGroupCommand. Take the class and decompile this and everything needed around to understand how this class works.
Then you can choose to extend this CommandGroup to also have a command "Resubmit for Approval" or you can implement your own UI Command only for resubmitting (you will also have to activate your command (group) by settings within the configuration).
On the other hand, if all this is completely new to you, I'm a bit sceptical if the task isn't a bit too big as a first task on KM implementation topics...?

Changing to manual sync while the ipod is NOT connected?

I was trying to find out if there was a way to change the iPods setting to sync manually (or only for selected material) without connecting the iPod to the Mac.
I do not want to loose high score settings on some games. As far as I can tell I can change settings only when the iPod is connected to my Mac, and when I connect it will initiate an automatic sync all as that was the setting when last connected to the Mac!
Is there anyway to change the setting to manual without having the iPod connected? Alternatively, is there anyway to disable sync, or cancel sync before connecting the iPod?

Yes there is. You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on a Mac hold down the Option and Command (⌥ and ⌘ Apple) keys. This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and it will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer. HELP!: changing from manual update to sync update with no videos in library

My ipod (120GB Classic) is set on manual so i can manage my own music but the number of songs in my iTunes library and on my ipod is different, about a 20 song difference. Because of this i wanted to change my ipod setting to automatically sync from itunes, but when i try that it says that it will delete all the content on my ipod and replace it with the things in my Library.
The problem is that i have about 200 videos on my ipod but none of them are in my iTunes library. If i were to change the setting will all the videos on my ipod be deleted? Also, if i wanted to change back to manual setting after sync setting it wouldn't effect the content right?

thanks for posting your problems. it's a good heads up for people who might be using software update. I'm sorry i don't have a solution for you, but I do have a workflow that can avoid these sorts of problems. When you have a stable OS/Application combo, clone your startup drive using something like carboncopy cloner (available on versiontracker.com) to a bootable drive (a second internal drive or an external firewire drive with the correct formatting). This way, you can update with impunity and if a problem occurs, you can restore your system to a working state very quickly.

Bank name change in manual posting

Actually My Problem, is When i created the House Bank. The Address of the House Bank will not get copied to that TR. Hence I requested the User to Enter the Address from His Side in the Testing Client.
He Entered it wrongly, The Posting has been done. When he realised in FF67 overview it showing the Wrong Name.
I Tried to update the Correct Name in FI12, But system is not updating in the FF67.
I hope it is Clear Know...

Loyalty Management: Change tiers manually

Hi all,
within the Interaction Center (Profile: IC_LOY_AGENT) I select Membership Overview out of the navigation bar. There I get an overview of the membership tiers. I mark an active entry within this list of tiers and click on Change or Downgrade to manually change the tier.
An error message "Tier Downgrade failed; check activity log" is shown.
When I check the corresponding log there is an entry "Error: No eligible r e w a r d rules".
I'm not quite sure if the error message within the log belongs to my problem because the SAP documentation says "All tier
changes ... can be optionally checked on a rule basis".
Can someone please give me a hint how to do a manual change of tiers and if it is necessary to define a rule for this.

We also tried to change the tier manually, however we realized that without RewardRule you can't change the tier.
Pls. create a rewardrule for eg:
If
Current Tier = Silver
Total sales = 5000
Then
Change tier = Gold
