Serious Malfunctio​n with Curve 9220 since the time it has been bought
Had bought a blackberry curve 9220 in March 2013. Since the time it has been bought, there were network related issues.
In October, this phone got switched off by its own too. FInally after showng up at the service center they got this fixed.
Within a month, the trackpad started to deviate and stopped moving up and down.
Once this error was reported and shown at the service center, I was asked to pay 10000.
This is sheer malfunction and for no reason I have been asked to pay an amount which is more than the cost of the phone itself.
Can someone please reply to this and check into the issue.

Any Firefox updates are set to automatically update on my computer. I currently have version 4.0.
Since the NEW version has been installed, I've receive an update notice for a critical update several times. Each time I select to apply that update the dialog display never apply any update, it looks to be in a processing state but never completes. Of late I've had 2 unexpected issues surface. (1) a Flash Player stopped flashing, an "player stopped" message appeared, "send error report" and a reload player message was included. (2) I just received a error message > 400 "Bad Request" when the browser first opened. This has never happened before.

I just realized that I wrote that I installed from app store originally, but I must correct that statement. I never paid for the app so it must have come preinstalled on my 2011 iMac. I was confused since the update is through the store so I assumed I downloaded it. Sorry for any miscommunication.
So to be clear, even though I have never remotely administered / accessed my computer and I no longer have ARD on my computer, it is normal to have the client update appear in my App Store. Is that correct?

I have an old version of Firefox - Version 3.5.7.
I am trying to update to the current version. As part of the update, the system is first loading all of the intermediate versions.
I started the update 4 hours ago. It is still running. Most of the time, it has been downloading version 3.6.18. I am letting it run.
Is there any other way to get the most recent version?Thank you. That is basically what I did. I gave up on the update and downloaded a fresh version of Firefox.

I don't know why the battery life has just become so poor. I can listen to 1 song and lose 1/2% battery life. I had all the settings the same as before updating to ISO6 and now it just goes. I did drop it around the same time but I have a stong case so I don't see how this should effect it. If anyone knows how to fix it would be a great help because I used to love iPod but I am very dissapointed.

Why is the new itunes so complicated to use, it used to be so easy to use, i have spent a fortune on music with itunes, if this version is here to stay then i am going to be buying my music else where and ditching Itunes

When I moved to Numbers 3, I found that my Numbers 2 templates were still in File > New from Template Chooser > My Templates with the original row height intact
And my default (Small w Header Row and Column) template opens with the "old" row height.

Need help stopping I cloud upgrading the past 48 hours.
Something has gone wrong, on an iPhone 3Gs the erase all operation should be instantaneous. Disconnect your phone & force it into recovery mode:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, select "new". -
I have just upgraded to Mavericks and have been using Time Machine on an external disk with Snow Leopard. Can I continue to backup with Time Machine on the same external disk or do I need a new disk since the operating system has changed?

I found that Time Machine in Mavericks will sort it all out for you. You shouldn't need to buy another backup drive, unless you have insufficient space left and can't afford to delete whats on there. It should just work fine. -
Anyone else having issues with location services since the 7.1 update? Ever since I updated i’ve been seeing the location services icon on my status bar at all times. I noticed that google was the app that was using it a lot, but after I turned the feature off for google my phone started using the “traffic”, “frequent locations” and “cell network search”. When I turn the feature off for all of those things it’s no longer a problem. So just wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if anyone has a solution?
The "solution" is probably to increase your knowledge. You've done good things. Perhaps this article will educate you a bit more about location services.
Basically, they can be very useful, but can cause a lot of iPhone use. A major example is "Remind me to ... when I leave home."

I've had trouble with my Macbook since the first month I bought it. I've replaced the hard drive 3 to 4 times. Now some programs won't work or shut off by itself. Is it possible to ask for a complete exchange of products?

It would appear that you can ask for an exchange but it doesn't specify any time frame... Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can add to this.
By the way, if you've replaced the drive so many times, perhaps there's something else going on elsewhere. -

This is the problem. My father just got an iPhone 5. He has a Macbook Pro 2009 with OS X 10.5.8. The iPhone is not compatible with this version since the iTunes is an older version as well. At our local Apple store in my home country, they told him he needs to upgrade (which I agree of) but that the memory of this computer is not enough to hold the newer OS.
Please help, he does not really agree with buying a new computer just because of the versions.

After reading your post, it sounds like you are experiencing an error with Safari. You may want to consider resetting your device, which is different from restarting. This article provides detailed instructions for Restarting, and Reseting:
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I have started getting spammed on multiple Apple products (iPhone and iPad) with FaceTime calls since the recent IOS update. Is there any feature or setting I can use locally to restrict incoming calls to a FaceTime account without going to the carrier?
After calling AT&T tech support one more time, and explaining to them that the glitch was on their network, they admitted that the problem was at their tower...
I continued to use the phone on EDGE mode for two more days until the problem was fixed.
I even got a call back from a tech support guy asking me if my phone was working properly....
I wish they would have admitted to the problem before I sat at the apple store for 2 hours. -
I have had difficulty with yahoo mail since the security update on Dec 23rd - have you? if so do you have a resolution? I can get into yahoo but then cannot open individual emails or folders!!!!

Am I the only one having problems with ringer volume since the update?? I'm hard of hearing and before updating to IOS7 I could hear my alarm and ringer just fine. Volume is turned up all the way and I've chosen the loudest sounds I could and still having a difficult time hearing.

It is not available for streaming and I believe movies available for streaming are the only movies available with the Netflix app on an iOS device. -
Since the ios7 update has anyone lost ability to charge phone with external battery back! And is there going to be an update to correct this?
Modular747 is a troll with very little real knowledge of the iPhone charging systems (as evidenced by his uninformed comments in other threads).
It could very well be iOS 7 refusing to charge from "non-authorized" accessories. We have done A/B tests with the same accessory (in this case cables) with iOS6 and iOS7 and have seen the cable work with iOS6, then not work (i.e. not charge) with iOS 7. Same device, same cable. Only change was the OS.
Keep the pressure on Apple, folks. It is not OK to make working accessories unusable with a software update.
