Serious mapping error in OWB 9.2.0.2.8

Hi,
I was updating a fairly simple mapping, with a single source and a single target table when I came across a problem that seemingly "destroyed" the entire mapping.
This is what I did:
- I added two key lookups to the mapping in series (i.e using the output from first lookup as input to the second).
- After I had added the lookups I pressed "Validate".
- Validation completed successfully, but after the validation was completed, the new lookups were gone from the mapping.
- I then tried to add the first of the two lookups again. But this time I got a JAVA error stack. (unfortunately, I didn't save the error message)
- Finally I tried to restart OWB, but now when I try to open the mapping I get a "java.lang.NullPointerException"
and the mapping i blank.
Has anybody had a similar problem?
I have also tried to export the mapping, the following is the error stack from the export:

We have now had the same problem with another mapping. It occured in simmilar circumstances to last time, only this time the error occured after adding an expression. This expression dissapeared when pressing Validate, and the mapping now gives a null pointer exception when we try to open it:

OWB execute mapping error

I am getting the following error in OWB when I try to execute the mapping.
“RTC-5006: an error occurred during execution. The exception was oracle.wh.service.sdk.runtime.queryException: null
<Map_Name> has not been deployed.”
I have deployed the mappings and process flow and the deploy status is "success"
This was working fine until I purged the deployment data through repository browser yesterday
We are using OWB repository 10.2.0.1.0 and OWB client 10.2.0.1.31. The Oracle version is 10 G (10.2.0.3.0). OWB is installed on Redhat Linux.

Somehow my 'REP_OWNER' got completely corrupted. I used following steps to resolve the issue.
1. Create a new repository called REP_OWNER2.
2. Delete an old repository (REP_OWNER) using ‘Repository_Assistant’ which also deletes the related roles pointing to REP_OWNER from each target schema (ex: STAGE, EDW, DM).
3. Manually delete all synonyms and WB_RT_VERSION_FLAG table from each target schema pointing to REP_OWNER.
4. Register all the target users from the Design Center.
5. First, import all the locations into the new repository (REP_OWNER2) from a backup .MDL file and register all of them. Then import rest of the stuff like database modules, file modules, process flows, pluggable mappings.
6. Configure all the database and process flow modules to their proper locations.
7. Deploy and execute.

Peculiar Deployment Error in OWB

I have a mapping (M_TEST_PROCEDURE) which has the following sequence of operators.
Source Table -> Mapping Transformation (Procedure) -> Expression -> Pivot -> Target Table.
The mapping validates without any errors. But when tried to deploy this mapping it gives me the following error.
OWB Error MappingGenerator.generate WBGeneratedObject[] in null or length 0 for M_TEST_PROCEDURE.

Has anybody experienced such problems before ??? If yes, can you please throw some light as to why is this happening. There is one more thread in this forum regarding the same problem, I have seen that but the problem still persists..

The target table loading type is INSERT, and match by constraint is set to 'No constraints'.
There is no INSERT/UPDATE or UPDATE/INSERT anywhere in the mapping.
This really seems to be a awkward problem.
You can try yourself. Make a stored procedure (doing a very simple thing ... taking an input value adding a constant value and then returning that value back).
The sequence of operators used in the mapping:
Source Table -> Mapping Transformation (using the above procedure) -> Expression Operator -> Pivot Operator -> Target Table.
Try to deploy the code ... u will get a deployment error which OWB itself does not understand.
Any more hints of help ?

While running "Maintain cube..." I'm getting error

Well... it was indeed a tablespace error...no need to contact Oracle.
Worked fine after the DBA's added more tablespace!

Serious system error while executing the query: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

From ALSB, we are trying to insert records in a table, by calling the ALDSP webservice. It is working fine when the xml (ie., given as input to the ALDSP webservice) is small. But facing the following error when the input xml size is large.

We do not want to increase the heap size. Is there any other way we can solve this problem?

In logical dataservice of ALDSP we have created a procedure called createTest, which is used to insert mulitple rows in the table. We have created a webservice for that logical DataService.
Using the ALSB, we are calling the webservice -> createTest Operation and we are passing xml as input to that createTest function.

The Web Dynpro component cannot be generated due to serious (syntax) errors

Hi everybody,
While I was developing a web dynpro application, I had an error but I couldn't understand this error. Before I took this error message, only I changed bound one context node to another context node in a RadioButtonGroupByKey.Therefore, when I pushed activate button, I took an error message.This error message said "The Web Dynpro component cannot be generated due to serious (syntax) errors". What does it mean ? How can I find out where is the error in the application. Also, I think the reason of this error message is about a BC problem. I am waiting for your comment urgently.

Just delete the context (by using the context binding) and bind the field with the correct node and try to activate .
One more suggestion is that after deleting the binding and before binding to other node check it that whether that binding was properly deleted or not.Some times its not deleting the binding.

Mapping error in PI 7.1

When i am trying to create a new mapping or coyping the existing mapping(which is already activated) , i am not able to activate the mapping . I am getting the following error :

Strange Data Mapping Errors after SEM 6 Upgrade. Please assist.

Hi All, I encountered these sudden Mapping errors after I tried to do Testing in Post Upgrade Sand Box. Here I am trying to to perform Collected Reported Financial Data under Data Collection Method for a particular Company Code 3040. Kindly help me with some quick responses as this is kind of high priority. The errors and the Diagnosis Notes I am unable to follow as I do not where I shall write those Mapping Rules they are referring to. I do not even know if that need to apply any SAP Notes as such. Could you Kiindly advise me where we need to write the Mapping Rules in Consolidation Monitor? All he time the errors refering to Mapping Rules. The only Tab I seen "Mapping" is in Data Basis But as per my Understanding Iwe do not have much to do there as it is system generated Mapping Tab.
Where we actually go and select/deselct those Input Conversion Indicator/ Conversion exit Indicator.

Multi-Mapping Error after copying into new namespace

Hi everybody,
we got a BPM running using a multi-mapping.
We decided to design new namespaces. After copying every IR object (datatype, message-type, mappings etc.) --> SXMB_MONI shows a mapping-error.
But when I take the payload and test the mapping, everything is fine?
Any ideas?

If your payload has Messages tab remove that..and test the payload.
Payload doesn't have any Messages tab.
Just i have given example payload..this payload two strucures it will split into twofiles..and compare your payload should be like same

Catch Mapping Error in File to IDoc scenario

Configured BPM and now learning Error Handling. I know that through BPM we can handle system Errors, but I doubt whether Mapping error is a system error.
I am interested to know the classification of errors with examples, preferably listing out all types of errors.
Please provide some weblogs or explain briefly how to handle system and application errors through BPM.

Hi Raja,
You will need CCMS if you want to send the Alerts to external system or you want to access the ALerts from the transaction. You can capture your alerts without this also.
When you go to Alert Configuration in the Runtime Workbench you can see Create Alert Rules. These rules are pertaining to the error generated in your AF,AE or IE.
Once you have completed the whole config. The error happening in the AE, IE or AF would trigger the alert. you can see this in your Alert Inbox.
The best would be if you go through the URL I have mentioned below.

You have to use BPM only if you want to do an activity after the alerts are raised.

3. Now select Tools -> Transer Integration Scenario from Inegration Repository and Create Scenario in it properly
(Included Assign Services, Configure Connections, Generate etc).
4. In last, save scenario.
After configuration XI I am not getting Scenario Data (Objects and Configuration Overview data) in it.
When i click to Check Configurability under Model Configurator of mine Scenario, I found following Errors ( I am Mentioning only some errors) :
Component View SE_Services_Procurement: Connection from Send Z_CREMAS_SUSMM to Business Partner empfangen has no mapping
Component View SE_Services_Procurement: Connection from Send_PO_From_MM to Receive_Purchase_Order has no mapping
Component View SE_Services_Procurement: Connection from ServiceAcknowledgementConfirmationRequest to ServiceAcknowledgementConfirmationCreate has no mapping
Component View SE_Services_Procurement: Connection from InvoiceRequest senden to Receive INVOIC has no mapping
Kindly correct me if am missing some, and help me out, what should have been done to remove this mapping errors.

If you are on >= SP9 you do not need to perform that action at all.
Go to SU01 transaction assign SAP_XI_DEVELOPER role for the desired users and try it.

Mapping Error in AAE in PI 7.1

Dear Team,
If we use message mapping along with AAE concept , What are the objects we need to create in ESR and ID .
How can we monitor the messages - messages failed with Mapping Error.Is there any new option available in RWB?

If we are using AAE then we don't get any status in SXMB_MONI.

Mapping error in PI 7.4 dual stack

Dear Experts,
Recently we upgraded our system from PI 7.1 to PI 7.4 dual stack.
Scenerio is ECC->PI->SOAP(Webservice) synchronous
Issue in detail:
We are creating a invoice in ECC system through PI its updating in third party site using SOAP webservice and will get a reference number from that site and then updating in ECC as in synchronous way.
Invoice data's are reached PI sucessfully from ECC but it not updating in the site and getting below mapping error after upgarded to PI 7.4.
Your points will be highly appreciable.
Kindly help to sort out this issue.

Hi Monikandan,
It seems you are trying the sign the payload in your java mapping. So, looking at the attached error, there could be 2 possibilities:
1) Either there is no certificate with alias: *_PRD
2) This certificate is stored in some "System" type keystore view which is not accessible from you mapping code. Try to move your certificate to some "User" keystore view.

RFC Lookup mapping error in PI 7.1

Hi Experts,
I´m getting mapping error when executing interface SOAP -> WS (SAP ECC) . The message mapping call RFC Lookup to SAP ECC.
When test the message mapping in Integration Builder the interface calls communication channel by RFC Lookup and works fine.
That interface was imported from QAS environment and was working fine, but in PRD it doesn´t works.
I checked the Interface Determination and the parameter is filled correctly with communication channel. The same communication channel was used on message mapping test.
The Interface Determination in SXI_CACHE has no value assigned to parameter in PRD environment, otherwise, the same interface determination in SXI_CACHE in QAS environment there is value (CC ID).
The problem persists after Cache Refresh in SXI_CACHE and CPA Cache.
Can anyone help me ?
