Serious problem recording guitar tracks! I can't get them tight!

I am a good player and have recorded quite a bit in my life, but I can't for the life of me get these part to lock with everything else. I'm using a click and also playing to drums and keys. It feels tight and feels like it is locking when playing but upon playback, at least for my ears it is not there. I've had this problem before and literally had to shift the region to get it to lock a little better.
Could it be something with latency, what I am playing and feeling is not what is going down to tape, or hard disk?

Yes I'm am using an M-Audio Fastrack Pro. I think I might have solved the issue, but if you have any suggestions I am completely open to suggestion.

They should you if you do the roll back properly... Opening files from the Previous iTunes Libraries folder in Windows Explorer simply opens the current library. If you had a complete pre-problem backup of your library you could restore that. On the assumption that isn't possible I have a script called ExportImport that could in principle be adjusted to save the relevant data from a backup of the library database and then reimport that data into the current library. Hi melbernai - not sure if you've solved this problem yet. I had the exact same problem recently with my 2nd Gen iPod Nano. I solved it yesterday by simply updating iTunes to the most recent version, after which I could get rid of the register screen. The only other thing I needed to do to add my custom playlists was select "Manually manage music" on the screen for my iPod, since it had been in an automatic synching mode since the problem occurred.

What model of Mac? I have a MBP running 10.7.3 and do not have that issue. From the other couple of posts I've seen about it, it seems to be maybe an issue with some iMacs? Have your tried searching the Lion or iMac forums for similar issues, just to see if anyone has hit on why it is happening?

Try another browser such a Safari. If you get the same issue then it's probably the site, if it works OK on another browser then it's probably Chrome and you should re-post on a Chrome forum discussion board.

I have the same problem and I am very upset. I have heard that Apple/iTunes is removing all songs that are unlicened for this type of download. Apple does not want to be responsible for pirated music. Much of mine is down loaded from CD's. I have to go to search and put in every song and then, if found, put it into My Music then back into iTunes. WHAT A HASSLE. I don't remeber reading anything about this. 224 songs so far. NOT HAPPY.

HELP! I've been using my iPhone consistently for ALL phone numbers, since I have serious memory problems due to fibromyalgia. I upgraded my phone last night finally, having moved my photos out of it I had the space to download and install the upgrade.
I got a nasty shock this morning when I tried to make a routine call and found ALL of my phone contacts missing. They don't seem to be either in the cloud or in the phone. What happened? It said it was storing them in the cloud but they're all gone! How can I get them back?
IF this normally happens, why should I ever upgrade? Seriously! I didn't think to copy all of it out manually before upgrading, I'd upgraded once before without any problems. Addresses and other details gone too. I've got four numbers in "Favorites" but no context for them beyond location by state. I don't even know who they are - can't recognize just the numbers.

If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. Putting in my details, turning off Contacts over iCloud (thus deleting them) and turning them back on again, repopulated my contacts from iCloud with numbers attached to them.

I keep trying to sync things among my MacBook Pro, iPAD, and iPhone. Usually this works fine for a few days, but then I notice that the calendars aren't syncing and the "notes" aren't syncing. How can I get them all to stay in sync?

I have my Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes set up to sync over iCloud among the three devices.
I haven't had a problem with the Mail or Contacts syncing (at least not as far as I know), but the Notes and the Calendars don't seem to stay sync'd up. I will notice that they aren't sync'ing, will delete and re-sync and they are fine for a while, but inevitably they stop sync'ing at some point. This has been true through earlier incarnations of operating systems, so not something new.
How can I get them to sync and stay sync'd?

This was removed in 10.9. You may have better luck getting assistance in the relevant Mac forum.

I actually deleted my backup :-) That's the problem. But thanks.
I've managed to get some back but via a slightly different method.
Because the files weren't there, when I deleted them from my library they actually disappeared from the list.... So I created a new library (backed up my original one) and then synched that with Match so that all the files appeared. I'm just going through the ones I'm missing clicking 'download' and then when they're all back on my hard drive I'll revert to the previous Library which will hopefully pick up all of the recovered files.

Ok this is bizzare!
Thank you for your response, I went throught each and every step without any luck, even got the recovery programme, and painstakingly tried to sift through all that mumbojumbo to find what i needed. finally found the bookmark bit, but it had been fully overwritten :(, so on reading about previous ff versions, found the sqlite thingys, and they were relatively unscathed(partly written over, but saveable apparently TG), saved them to adiff drive, amongst other possibly good folders. Then looked up how to install them, and it said to close FF, and install to profile folder.
So i tried to close FF, and the original problem from a few days ago, where it asked me if 'i was sure i wanted to close this window as it has X tabs open', popped up again. This is where 'open blank page' selection was set, over 'open previous tabs'. Wanting to save that info on how to sort out these friggin files, I reset the Option to 'open previous tabs', and closed FF. After unsucessfully searching for the profile folder on my laptop, i opened FF intending to search online for where i could find said folder.
AND BANG, surprise surprise, the FF I had just closed with only tabs open about finding out what the heck to do, had disappeared, and instead my original saved tabs were up, and my bookmarks are there..... I am gobsmacked! what the heck just happened there???
I have made 3 back up in different folders now, of those friggin bookmarks. I am weary now tho of shutting it all down.... what if its back to the other pages I had with no bookmarks, tomorrow :(
