Serious Problems! Plz Help!

About 6 months ago, I thought it would be nice to upgrade my comp.
So, I went and bought:
K7N2 mobo
512 2700 kingston valueram
geforce 420 mx
athlon xp 2600+
Problem was, I was expiriencing sporadic reboots and lockups, expecially during graphically demanding games. It tried to live with it, blaming my video-card.
However, not long ago, I'd had it with crashes and went to buy a sapphire atlantis radeon 9600.
And, to my big suprise, the crashes continued.
I suspected my memory was faulty, I tested it with memtest 86 and voila! I got an error. I returned my RAM with lotsa angry words.
SO! I got a new RAM-block, same type as the last time.
Cheering with joy, I made another attempt at memtest and to my GREAT grief(!) I recieved another error! I tested the RAM at another machine - no errors!
And the machine just kept on crashing!
What should I do??? Plz help a troubled mind!!

Well I dunno if this will help-But I had the same problem inder the same circumstances and by changing my FBS to 100-I got a completely stable sytem.
You should not have to put up with slowing your computer down to make it work.
Contact who ever you bought your ram from or the ram manufactor and have it replaced or get your money back.
Compatiblty is a common problem not just a Nvidia controler problem and most ram manufactor will work with you on this.
Some ask that you check that your setup or Mobo is listed before you buy but even these will help you out.
Lower ram timing rather than FSB will help also if ram timing is listed by manufactor as 7 3 3 3 try running it at 8 4 4 3 or 9 4 4 3 or even less.
Oops forgot also check to see at what voltage your ram is soppose to run at than check in Bios to see if its right. Also if ram is causeing problems sometimes bumping voltage up a little helps just be carefull don't over do it.
Also download and run memtest86 If you get errors and have two sticks than pull one and run again if still have errors than change them and run again this will nerrow down which stick is bad if only one is.

Audio Clip problem plz help..

There is some problem with my code. It is actually for simply playing a wav file.
It gives errors on two lines....

Have you done anything to try to fix the errors yourself?

the error generated here is self-explanatory.
if you can't fix this, you should get a good book on java basics and start again.
the other error is also easy to fix.

Classpath problem plz help me

hi!
i am unable to run my RMI server program .Name of My server class is SumServer.java,it implements SumInterface.java all the files(.class,.java and stub) are at location c:\javaprog\rmi\sum.
I have not put them in any package.
value of classpath is
classpath=c:\jdk1.4\lib;.;c:\javaprog\rmi\sum
i go in sum folder and run the program
c:\javaprog\rmi\sum > SumServer
it gives me following exception.plz help me out.

Serious Problem. Help!!!

Hi. Im having some serious problems. Some of my programs refuse to load. None of the Microsoft Office programs will open. Omnidisksweeper wont load, nor will Windows Media Player. I used Microsoft Word this morning. Now nothing. I ran Monolingual and have no idea if that messed it up or not. Pleeeease help!

I did the same thing with the same results- only native intel apps, no rosetta. I installed in place via the disc one of the system discs and everything was back to normal.
btw, I only saved 360 mgs with monolingual- seems somewhat shy of what I was expecting- having heard there were close to 2 gigs worth on other posts regarding monolingual.

I have a problem to make a developer application Client/Server.
When i install forms Runtime on the Client`s computer and i open the application, i get the error that he can`t find the menu and the libraries.
The menu path is for example on my computer F:\s3\Salesmenu
But on the client it can be a different path an then he can`t find the menu.
Now the properties for the main form are:
Menu module f:\s3\Salesmenu
Initial menu Salemenu
Does anyone know how to fix this problem for example:
1) by let the program search for the menu.
2) .....

Big Problem, PLZ HELP

So, when i click on the itunes shortcut, which has the same icon as the Apple Software Updater, I get a box that says that iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. I hit send once and sent the error report, and then restarted my computer to see if that would help. It didnt, so, now i cant access itunes this is a major problem cause i have all my songs on this computer. I also tried to plug in my ipod and see if that would make it load.
I installed iTunes 7.0 on my laptop, the exact same way, and i works on my laptop, but not on my computer.
PLZ HELP ME

FCE Beginner having SERIOUS problems. HELP

I am a FCE begginner and I am having a serious problem and is in need of serious help.
I am trying to capture video clips into FCE from my Panasonic video camera which is only a Standard Definition video camera using a mini DV tape.
When I connect to the FW400, it looks okay when I opened up FCE. So, I clicked FILE > CAPTURE.
I can see my video is being played in the capture window. I then click the Mark-In button. About 15 seconds later, I clicked the Mark-Out button. Then I clicked the Capture Clip button.
About 10 seconds after clicking the Capture Clip button, a message appear saying that "Dropped frames were detected during the last capture". I clicked OK and an icon appeared on the browser window.
My problem is this:
1) What can I do to prevent the dropped frames ?
2) Why is the icon appear as a red colour background with a red diagonal line ?
3) Why is it when I drag this icon into the timeline & try to play the captured video, I can only see the word UNRENDERED in blue colour appearing on the canvas ?
4) I also try to view what I have captured by putting the icon into the viewer window. And what I saw was the word MEDIA OFFLINE. Why can't I viewed what I have captured ?
Other questions:
5) After finish capturing, what is the best way to end the capturing ? When to pull of the FW400 cable ? How & when to close the capturing window ?
6) When the video was playing in the capture window, how do I fast-forward and see the video moving faster at the same time ? (I only know there is a fast-forward button but when I clicked it, the STOP button is automatically activated and I cannot see the video moving)

Thanks Tom for your answer but I apologise I don't quite understand some of the thing because I am really green in FCE. I use iMovie 09 previously.
2-3-4 What does offline means ? I mean why is the clip hasn't been captured ? I tried to follow capture clip as indicated in your book pg 59 to 66. But I think what I obtained were something like Fig 4.13 & 4.14 of page 67 in your book.
Maybe I relate what I did. I am able to see my video playing on the capture video without any problem. So, when I reach a certain part of the video I click the Mark-In button and the Time indicator on the Left hand side change from NOT SET to a certain number. After about 10 to 15 seconds I clicked the Mark Out button and the Time indicator on the Right hand side change from NOT SET to a certain number.
Then I click the video to stop. Then I clicked the Capture Clip button. After that a black screen appear with a small apple logo at the centre with the bottom saying "Cueing for Source Material" just like fig 4.11 in page 66 of your book. Then I have the same black screen but this time it says "NOW CAPTURING" just like Fig 4.12 in page 66 of your book.
After that, a message appear saying "Dropped frames were detected during the last capture". I just clicked OK and an icon appeared on the browser window. So, how come the clip hasn't been captured ? The fact that ican warn me of some dropped frames means that something must have been captured, right ? Or is it that ALL frames have been dropped ?

1) The model of my video camera is Panasonic NV-GS230. It is only a Standard Definition video camera using mini DV tape.
I am using a Lacie FW800 external Hardrive to store the media files.
I connect the Panasonic video camera to the iMac FW400 slot. So far, I have no problem capturing with this video camera in iMovie 09 and iMovie HD 06 using the same slot.
How do I check the settings on the media ? If you are referring to EASY SETUP, my settings are:
FORMAT: (all format)
RATE: (all rates)
USE: DV NTSC
Except for System Settings where I set the scratch disk to my external Lacie and changing the Level of Undo in User preference to 32 (just like you suggested in page 43 of your book), the rest my settings on the FCE are all default settings because I did not change anything except the 2 mentioned. Is there any setting in particular that you want to check ?

my n79 gets hang constantly nowadays.. i've used this phone for 1 year plus now so warranty's no more..... none of the buttons on the keypad works when it gets hang.. onli the power button is functioning.. now it's gettin worse .. it even hangs before i insert my pincode... i cant sms, call , or anything.. it hangs after i pressed a few buttons..

while unlocking the keypad of my n79 sometimes the phone gets hanged then i have to take the battery out and then again switch on the phone........plz help me how to get rid of this problem???

I have also same problem with my Nokia N79, I just cancelled sensor for automatic themes from cover. Just open back cover & stick some paper or plastic cello tape on four hole marks of covers wich r sensor for automatic themes to change colour of back cover same as theme colour. From 2 days I feel my mobile working fine without hanging ! so try it, all the best.

hi everyone, just bought a new pearl 9105. everything works fine and even bluetooth... through which i can transfer data from blackberry to other mobiles(samsung,sony ericsson)... but the problem is i could not recieve data from other mobiles.i should get contacts list from the other mobiles... but due to this problem i couldnt. plz help me out..

The best way to receive a file from another device via bluetooth is to go to Media, then press Menu, choose Receive Using Bluetooth, waiting for connection will be display, then send from the other device. It should work without hassle.

Try googling on how to sign your applet. The error you're getting can usually be solved by signing it.

You need to change where it is trying to find the 'vg' package. So, if your Last.java is in e:\javafiles, then you need to

Ps4 problem plz help ASAP

ps4 can ON got sound can control but no image and also the color on the top is white...

Sry for my bad english.... I have try other HDMI but still the same problem. The problem is when I turn on the ps4 the LED on top of the ps4 turn from blue to white. Then when it's started there no image the screen is black, but have sound and I can control it with my controller. I also try to plug in my HDMI from my laptop to the TV and there no problem what so ever.. Plz help :<

I have a text item in forms and button. When i type the Customer_Name in text item then all names appears in reports, i want that when i type the name, only that name will appear .
Please check what is wrong with my code and steps.
In report wizard, query statement i put "Select * from S_customer"
then i call the report in forms..

Also, you need to create the parameter in your report:
1.- Open your report on reports builder.
2.- Find the "Data Model" node, and the "User parameters" node.
3.- Create a parameter: p_customer_name
4.- Modify your sql from:

where Customer_Name=:p_customer_name;
If you want this parameter to be optional, check the reports online help on "Lexical References".
