    Hi,
I check this issue in my environment, but cannot repro this issue.
Please check the following path to click the right cpl file:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\MLCFG32.CPL
If that works, you need check this registry path to see if it points a right path to the .cpl file:

  • I wanted to send some photos out but was told I need to create a new profile, use mail icon in control panel no icon there how do I get it done?

I want to send some photos from Firefox, when I tried it said I need to create a new profile, use mail icon in control panel. I went to control panel and do not know what to do.'''bold text'''

As all of the msuic came from your computer in the first place it should still be there.  Is it not?
EVERYTHING on your ipod should also be on your computer and should be included in your regular backup copy of your computer.
Make sure that everything is on your computer.  You can transfer itunes purchases from the ipod.  Without syncing:  File>Transfer Purchases.
When everything is on your computer, then it can be synced back to the ipod after updating.

  • HT201317 I want but don't have iCloud icon in control panel (internet). I have a MobileMe icon which I can't log into and I'm not sure if it is an old version of the same thing? Clicking on it directs me to a closed website which redirects me to iCloud.

I'm trying to set up photo stream on my PC so that photos automatically download and are saved on my harddrive but I cannot find an iCloud icon in the relevent section of the control panel. I do have a MobileMe icon but cannot log into it with my Apple logins and am not sure if it is the same thing anyway. Any advice how to get photo streaming set up?

  • SQL Server 2008 Database Mail Failure

I am currently using SQL Server 2008.  I have database mail setup and it was working for a while without any issues.  However, now we are getting the following message anytime it trys to send an email with a domain address other than our own.
The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 4 (2010-07-21T15:21:58). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (The operation has timed out.). )
The emails have been setup and working since last year up until June 30th.  I have made sure that the server name for the email server is correct.  Ports 25, 110, and 443 are open on the email server and I setup the database mail to use port 25.
    The sever name is webmail.somecompanyname.com
I tested on the server that I could telnet to the mail server and I get the response back from the server that says ready.
I tested sending an email to my work address by right clicking database mail and send test e-mail.  When I send it to my work email it works fine (myname.somecompany.com)
When I do the same test only sending it to my personal comcast account I get the error message in the
    sysmail_faileditems.
Can anyone help shed some light on other possible issues that might be causing this to fail now?
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

My issues with the email might be fixed now.  I will be keeping an eye on it today.
It turns out that we have 2 IPs for the 2 different internet providers that we have for our company.
    In the
On Mail server > Exchange Server Manager > SMTP Connector Properties
     > Access Properties > Access Tab > Relay button it had the ip address for one of the providers, but not for the comcast one that we just installed on June 30th.
The network administrator added the ip for comcast to the location above and it seems to be working now.
We will keep our fingers crossed.
    Thanks for all your suggestions.

  • No icons within Control Panel, Administrative Tools Folder

I believe this problems relates to a terminal services policy package as
the problem only exists on our Citrix Metafrme servers. Regardless of who
logs onto the console of any of our 6 Citrix W2K servers, within Control
Panel, Administrative tools, there are either 0 icons or 2 .NET framework
icons only. I can however access all icons in Administrative Tools by
going through Start, Programs, Administrative tools.
Can anyone assure me that this is a policy issue and where the settings
are as I'm ****ed if I can find them?
    Thanks

  • Office 2013 64Bit on WIN 8.1 64bit MAIL control panel

Hey guys I found out that after installing Office 2013 home and business (64bit office only) on a windows 8.1 pro 64bit the mail options in the control panel will not open or come up to create new profiles. This seems to only happen with the 64bit version
of office 2013 on windows 8.1.
I think this only happens after already configuring a exchange account rebooting and then trying to open mail from the control panel. it doesn't seem to matter if you are a admin or not. For the time being those with the same issue as me just remove the
old profile from the registry or make changes to the profile via the registry
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Profile
again this is only an issue on the 64bit version of office 32bit works fine
    http://WrinkleFreeIT.com/

    Backup up your registry first.
This is impossible to fathom a new install of Windows 8.1 with Office 2013 and the control panel mail app will not open. Client believes you're a complete dill!
The problem we needed to solve was to create 2 exchange email accounts with profile options on outlook start up. We couldn't create the second account while outlook was running and control panel mail would not respond.
This is how it worked for me. Created the first email account by starting outlook and providing the account information during the initial setup of the exchange account.
But what about the second account. Have to start the mail from control panel.
    Navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office15.0\Outlook
Select DefaultProfile and delete the name of the profile.
    Next navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Exchange\
Create a Key and name it Client
Navigate to Client and create a key and name it Options
In Options add a new String Value and name it PickLogonProfile
Press Enter and set the value to 1
Start Outlook and you will be prompted to select a profile or create a new profile. Hooray!
If there are any corrupt profiles that present while selecting a profile in outlook, then navigate to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\outlook\Profiles and delete corrupted profiles.
    Good Luck.

    Hi jj1026,
Can you check if you have an active connection? What type of connection are using? If you are using cellular data connection, try to use Wi-Fi and check if the app updates will appear on the Store. Also, do you have multiple phones registered under your Microsoft account? The App update push notifications may not be shown if you have multiple phones running with the same account. If this is your case, try to remove a registered device from your Microsoft account, please follow the steps below:
Use a desktop browser, sign in to your Microsoft account by clicking on the link www.windowsphone.com.
Once signed in, and then hover a mouse pointer over your name at the top right corner of the page.
On the drop down menu, you will also see the list of devices that are registered on you Microsoft account.
Select a device that you would like to remove.
Once you have selected the device, move a mouse pointer over your name and then select Account Settings on the drop down menu.
At the top left corner, you will see the name and model of the Windows Phone you would like to remove.
    Click on Remove.
Confirm the action by clicking on Remove on the pop-up window.
The back-end change to remove device association takes up to 72 hours to replicate through the systems.
    Let us know the outcome.

  • How do I remove the "MATRIXx License Server" from my WinXP control panel?

I am running Windows XP and have a "MATRIXx License Server" applet that appears in my control panel. I have been unable to remove it. In the "About" window of the applet, the following information is given:
    Flexlm Version 6.0 Copyright 1996-1998
    Copyright 1996-1998
    Globetrotter Software
    San Jose, California USA
I looked briefly at the Macrovision web site (pointed to by the globetrotter link above), but there is nothing obvious about this.

The MATRIXx License Server is part of the MATRIXx License Manager installation and is the utility that you use to manage the MATRIXx licenses, especially if you are using floating licenses. As of MATRIXx 7.1 the LM Tools utility is used instead, and it can be accessed from the MATRIXx category on the Start Menu. I would not recommend removing the MATRIXx License Server from the Control Panel, but here is a KB from the Microsoft website that gives instructions:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;261241&sd=tech
It mentions Windows 2000, but the steps are very similar for Windows XP. Once removed you will not be able to configure the license manager until you unhide it again.

  • Satellite P100-160 BT Icon appears in Control Panel, but no BT

    Hello,
I have a Satellite P100-160. I am very confused as to whether I have BT or not.
*Reasons I thought I had BT:*
I originally thought I did have it, because in "Control Panel", there is a Bluetooth Icon, which when I press it opens up the "Bluetooth Devices" box. I also use Wi-Fi internet which I thought was a sign that BT was installed and working. I also notice that in "Services" there's something called "Toshiba Bluetooth Service" running.
*Reasons I now think I don't have BT:*
However, when I press Control Panel > Bluetooth Devices > Bluetooth Settings, nothing happens. It's like the button is dead. And when I try to "Add a BT device", it can't find any devices. Also, there is no BT listed in Device Manager.
Overall, I'm very confused! I bought Wireless Speakers yesterday having seen the BT icon in Control Panel (I'd read that if that icon was there I had BT), but having struggled for hours trying to get BT to work yesterday I've come to the conclusion that I don't have BT at all!!
Could someone explain what the Bluetooth Icon in Control Panel means? Why is it there if I don't have BT? Or, does the icon mean I do have BT but am doing something else wrong??
Many thanks in advance! Very frustrated!
    David.

    Hi DJH_1,
Different notebooks have different hardware parts. This would explain why Bluetooth software is preinstalled, probably other P100 models have Bluetooth but the P100-160 does NOT have Bluetooth.
BT software is installed but not BT hardware so you cant use BT.
Its no mistake by Toshiba. Just check the specifications of your notebook and then you see what features your notebook has or not. ;)

  • JRE 1.4.2_05 installed BUT no Java logo in the Control Panel

Hi, I have just installed JRE 1.4.2_05 on my computer using a manual download. However, I still cannot run applets after the installation finished. I checked Add/Remove in Control Panel to make sure that it was in fact installed, and it was. When I tried to enable and configure JRE, I could not find the coffee cup icon in control panel.
Could someone please tell me what problem I'm having, and what I can do to solve it? I'm running Windows XP Professional (SP1) on an AMD Athlon 800 MHz computer.
    Thank You

I removed the Java and also went into the registry and installer files to clean it out. I tried to install the SDK, but a warning window pops up mid way that says 'Java(TM) Update (1.4.2_05-b04 cannot be installed because the Java(TM) Virtual Machine is still running. Please close all running Java(TM) applications, especially browsers.'
I had all the browsers closed and didn't have any other applications open so I don't know why this message pops up. I also don't understand how I could have Java Virtual Machine if I haven't installed it yet.
    Please Help. Thank You
