Server 2008R2 - Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded

Hi guys.
I have a server SEXXX01 - Windows 2008 R2 OS.
Im having major issues to login to this server.
This was reveled when a person tried to login to the server and got the error "Cannot log you in, unable to load profile"
What we did was to remove the account, completly, we did this manually aswell(not very smart I know).
We also removed the registy profile.
But. Now no new accounts can be made to login. The old "local accounts" can still login, but no new ones.
You cant even create a new user in AD, add that user to the server. It still gives the same error.
I have an admin account that still is avaible to login. But no other accounts are able to.
When I create a new account, no folders are created, no register path is created.
The weird part is that I created a temp-admin account on the server and it worked for a little while yesterday, out of the blue(no changed were made). But now its back to not working again
This is what I have done so far:
I have checked the register for S-I-D numbers that might be faulty, but there are none for the new accounts that are made or for the original account that failed.
Tried to add new accounts as administrators, still the same problem.
checked if there is a problem with the "default user" folders, none at all.
Added, removed, changed the rights for the accounts.
Looked at the local GPO, nothing weird
This is the error msgs I get from the event viewer:

The errors with the system resources seems weird. The server has 16GB of ram and not even 30% is used at this time.
So what could it be?
Why doesnt the server created user folders/registery files for new users?
Why does it give error about resources allocation, when it has more then enough?
Im just at the dead end. I have no idea how to proceed.

If my computer cannot connect to the server - how can I get that far? How can I open the dashboard, select a client, select from a list of backups, select a volume to restore, etc. What is going on here?

Preventive solution is to reinstall Windows as a lot of files are corrupted, as you say. Cure is to run SFC/create a new user account. Also, make sure the PCs are free from any malware infection.
Personally, it's a good practice to perform clean install every 6 months or 12 months, after backing up important files, to maintain stability. This is because, with usage over time, a lot of temporary files get congested, in conventional HDD type fragmentation
increases and errors raise in registry which Windows is not capable of cleaning by itself. Of course, in a corporate scenario, clean installation may not be possible with a large number of PCs. Therefore, imaging a clean installed Windows and restoring it
across other PCs is an efficient solution.

Resetting User Account Password (10.7 +)
1) Boot into your Recovery Partition holding down command + R at the startup chime
2) Select 'Terminal' from your Utilities Menu Bar
3) Type the following bolded command in: resetpassword
4) From the window that appears, select your boot volume and the appropriate user account
5) Type in the new password and confirm the new password
6) Click Save, close this pane and quit Utilities
7) Select your boot volume when presented with choose startup disk and reboot your machine

When I open Firefox, I get a message that says "Your profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing inassable." Help

I need help...I can't open firfox :( I have uninstalled it, I have re-installed and it won't work :( I have looked up trouble shooting. I keep getting this message "Your profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing inassable." I have done this twice.

You profile folder is damaged or missing. 
To fix this, we will need to delete the profile by following these steps:
#Go to the Firefox application data
#Select the Profiles folder
#Delete the folder with <code>.default</code> at the end of the name
Please report back with your results.
WARNING: Removing folders/files can cause damage to other programs and the Windows operating system. use caution when manually deleting folders/files. Creating a backup of any deleted files is highly recommended!

[Server 2008R2] Filter event logs for logged in users from clients on domain

Hi All,
I am looking for a script which can be run on a domain controller to check which user accounts logged in on the domain. I am looking for both the username and client. Reason why I need this is to check where service accounts are used.

HT3986 when i want to install windows on bootcamp in bootcamp say your bootcamp cannot partioned what should i do?

when i want install windows on bootcamp in my macbookpr 13inch it said your bootcamp cannot partioned.

usually it says something else, like due to not enough free contiguous space and that some files cannot be moved.
sometimes you just need to boot into ML Recovery and run Disk Repair and Repair Permissions then zap PRAM (just once or two boot chimes).
Also do a Safe Boot.
You can easily find all of the above.
You will need 45GB for Windows and still have 20-40GB free for OS X to function and grow.
You can from ML Recovery try to shrink your HFS Mac partition as much as possible, assuming you have 75GB or more, then stretch back to full size - before restarting.
And you must have only the standard Mac and ML Recovery.
If your Mac is 3 yrs old and started with Leopard or SL then sometimes ML and Boot Camp don't work for a few cases. In which case, and you should already have backups, with TimeMachine and possible even clone your system - that gives you a means to unmount your hard drive and if necessary to erase and restore from backup.
A clone is a bootable backup copy or image of your Mac system usually and very useful to have.

Unable to update after downloading 3 times. No prompt appears. Impossible to send you feedback because your site is totally circular.

This all began with trying to work with ATT messaging service which advised that it be done via computer. However, their computer routine does not run on Mac Safari (if you can believe it!). They advise Firefox or IE. My version of Firefox is 3.6. I have downloaded an upgrade DMG 3 times but did not see a prompt about dragging something to somewhere else. It was impossible to send you feedback because you demanded that I first upgrade. But, I was unable to upgrade. So, you have a circular system that blocks feedback. Bottom line: I have a three DMGs in my download folder. Where do I go next?

3. Install the version that you have downloaded.
Do not select to remove your personal data, your profile data is stored elsewhere in the[http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder], so you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data.

Lenovo S405 How To: Re-Install Windows 8 if you have lost your recovery partition

To help some people out... I read some of you formatted your drive and now are stuck without the ability to restore Win 8 if you went to Win 7 before you knew there was an issue, or lost your recovery partition for any other reason. FYI, if you can get your hands on ANY Win 8 disk (doesn't matter if its Professional or the Regular version) and install it, your serial key for Win 8 is hardcoded into your motherboard BIOS. Therefore, if you have access to a disk, you can simply install and it will auto activate and install your pre installed key. No need to spend $90 or more if you don't have to.
If you don't have an external DVD Drive, simply download the Win7 to USB tool from Microsoft (it will work for Win 8) and transfer the disk image to a USB thumb drive (from another PC of course). Then boot from the thumb drive to install. Note: You will have to go into the BIOS to turn OFF UEFI and allow it to boot and install from a thumb drive.
In my experience, I had to turn off UEFI in the BIOS (Get to BIOS by pressing F2 at boot). By turn off, I mean place in "Legacy" mode. Then save and exit and allow to restart. Upon restart, enter the BIOS once again and you should now see your thumb drive appear on the list of bootable devices (the thumb drive has to be connected BEFORE booting into BIOS). Move the thumb drive up the list to be the first boot device, save and exit and you are in business.
Also, if you have access to the MSDN, you can actually download the RTM version of Win 8 which once its installed will auto activate and install using your hard coded serial making it a legit, normal copy.
I tried to write this as more of an overview and less of a "hand-holding" article for the purpose of quick reference. Any questions, please post. I will not provide links to any software mentioned in this article. Search engines are your friend.

After changing from UEFI to Legacy mode the function keys (F2 or Fn + F2) are not working anymore. I can't access the BIOS anymore and boot from the USB. Any idea? Thanks

OT: Did you know you can change your profile to show your real name, rather than just your Adobe ID?

I realize this is off-topic for this particular forum, but I hope it may help some readers. Since this forum is "where I live" in the Adobe forums, I wanted top share it here first. Perhaps after some feedback to refine things, I may post it elsewhere (another forum perhaps, and/or my blog).
As I was answering a question from someone, finding myself again able only to refer to them by their brief Adobe ID (which often seems to have no connection at all to their name), I wondered:
Do people realize that they can change their forum identity so that their real name (or whatever other identifying info) shows up rather than just their brief Adobe ID? It's just that some folks would much prefer "talking" with someone by refer to them by their real name (or at least something more than just their Adobe ID).:-)
I suppose some may choose intentionally to remain “relatively anonymous” with just that ID to identify them, but I think many more simply don't know that they *can* change what's shown. You can. But it seems we can't do it inside the forums software itself.
Instead, we just need to modify our "Adobe account" to associate a name with our ID (which of course could have benefit in other places where our names might be used).
You can do by going to https://www.adobe.com/account.html, then choose “My Information” (and login if prompted). Then, on the page shown, under the section “My Personal Profile” you can fill in the first and last name fields. (You can also your password here, and it seems even your username.)
It may be possible that after making that change, you would need to sign out and back into the forums (forums.adobe.com) for the change to be picked up, but if it is, you should then see "Welcome [your name]" in the top right corner of the forums page, if it's worked.
And now any forum messages you create should have that name at the top of the message when people read it, and it would also be in the FROM address if people receive it as email (note we're NOT talking about your email address. That is never shown. If people reply to forum messages received by email, the reply goes back to a generic forum email address.)
Hope all that's helpful to someone.
BTW, I had done the change myself a long time ago, so I'm retracing these steps now for others to do it. If you try it and can confirm that it works, please drop a note here. Thanks.

When i try to log into icloud on my PC to set it up, it tells me it cannot log me on because of a server error...???

I know my username and password are correct, but i cannot further my icloud experience until i have it set up on my PC and this little "error" is inhibiting me from doing so... HELP!?!?!?!

Try doing the following steps:
1) Click on Start
2) Type cmd and press enter. A new window will open up.
3) Type "netsh winsock reset"
4) restart the machine and try again
5) Let me know how if it worked.

Server 2008R2, Windows updates apply - fail - revert. We can't break the cycle

We have a 2008R2 server running SQL that has for months tried to apply updates, eventually fails, and then reverts.
We've tried to manually go through 1 update at a time, but they all fail and revert. Usually taking hours to go through this process.
We've gone through the steps in this KB article to no avail:
