Server gave an unknown response - please help!

I'm new to Contribute having downloaded the trial version
last week.
I've been using it to make ammendments to a company website
maintained by an outside IT company.
It worked fine for the first couple of days, allowing me to
correct spelling mistakes and insert additional text.
We have an image file that appears at the bottom of each of
the pages that make up the website. I wanted to replace this with a
different image - this is when my problem began.
Now I'm unable to publish or cancel anything.
I would like to delete the current draft and bring up a new
draft to ammend but everytime I try to do anything like this I get
the message "The server gave an unknown reponse. Please try the
operation again or contact your administrator"
I've talked to the administrator who insists that nothing has
been adjusted since before we started to trial Contribute.
I would like to purchase the software but am not happy to do
this until I'm sure that it will work for us.
Please help!!! Any feedback or suggestions would be much
appreciated.

Hi,
To save your existing draft. you can create a backup copy of
your draft found at
C:\Document'Settings\<username>\Local
Settings\Application
Data\<Macromedia\Adobe>\Contribute\Sites\
In this directory search for your site, will be named
site1,site2... etc.
Find the draft and create a copy of it in a different
location.
For removing of .LCK files you can connect to your website
using a
ftp client and manually remove the .LCK files for the draft.
To be sure and see if ur admin is correct on not changing any
config on remote server,
remove your existing connection and create a fresh one :)

Please define "factory unlocked". The term is basically meaningless. iPhones are sold either carrier locked or unlocked. Some carriers will unlock them after a period of time upon meeting certain requirements and paying a fee.
There are lots of places that will "factory unlock" an iPhone. This basically translates to "hack". This can cause permanent damage to the phone. Best case scenario is these phones will re-lock to the original carrier on an update or restore. Worst case it they become expensive bricks.
ICCID unknown indicates a critical failure. There is no way to resolve this other than taking it in to Apple and getting the phone replaced. It's very possible that the phone was hacked and attempting to update has now killed it.
Where, EXACTLY, did you get this phone?

Please tell us what kind of computer you have, what operating system and what version of iTunes. Not just "the latest version of iTunes", the exact version number.

I know this is old now but since the update i can't get into icloud on my phone it keeps asking me to check t & c's and now no emails. Can't connect to server. I have 4S please help :-(

It means, the URLLink.ACSM file is corrupted. Please contact the book store and ask them to check whether the configuration in the server side is correct for that book.
One of the simple setting in the server which can case this issue is, setting the book for loan in server and providing the purchase option in the book store or vise verse.

Web Agent has no response, please help!

I'm using the WebAgent 2.2-01 in the Apache Http Server 2063, it works well after the right configuration. But when the number of user become larger and larger, I find the WebAgent has no response. The process just as follows:
When I request the application (be reverse proxy by the Apache, and protected by the WebAgent), I can't be redirected to the login page of Access Manager, the IE just stop here.
If I login the Access Manager successfully, and then request the application directlly, I also can't get any response.
I have check the amAgent log, but didn't get any error, and I check the port (80) of the Apache Http Server, I got the result:

After I restart the Web Agent, it works well again, but about a week later, I find the problem again. To this day, I have found the problem for several times.
Does anybody come with this problem?

I checked the amAgent log file again, and I didn't find any error
information. Since I did't set the "com.sun.am.log.level " to any
value, so, I also didn't find any other information in the amAgent log
file.

Error msg saying unknown error PLEASE HELP

Hi my iphone 4 died over night so i woke up this morning and put it on charge through a wall charger a few hours passed and i have got back and the little white bars are still circling so i pluged it into the computer and its still doing the same thing and a msg comes up saying itunes could not detect device unknown error OxE8000065. Ok so I reset my ipod touch 4th gen and it got stuck on the apple logo screen and holding down the buttons just made it turn off for a few seconds and go straight back onto the logo screen, nothing was happening with it connecting to itunes either. But I held the home and the power button down at the same time while connected to my laptop and then when the logo reappeard I released the power button and it came up with with the itunes logo and the usb logo. It then allowed me to select restore on itunes which I did but a box popped up saying "The ipod software update server could not be contacted. make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, or try again later." When my iPod was 'preparing for update' my iPod USB accidently fell out. I turned it on and a usb sign and an arrow to iTunes came up, so I plugged it in. It comes up with a message saying iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode, You must restore this iPod before it can be used with iTunes. After that, I clicked restore and it said 'The iPod software server update could not be contacted' and that's it!
I've tired,
Resetting my iPod (the usb to iTunes sign still comes up)
Holding down the Home and Power button at the same time for many seconds
Restting my computer
Going into LAN settings and changing that

I have quite literally tried everything. My ipod touch just will not update.
My internet connection is more than fine, my ipod functions as it should, and I can connect to the itunes store.
It will not, however, connect to the update server.
I have spent around 2 hours tonight troubleshooting and i still have nothing.

We (the one's of us who are troubleshoting the error) think it's something to do (in some cases) with the network settings on certain kinds of network setups (possibly if you're connecting to a LAN which has an internet gateway, rather than, say, connecting wirelessly to a router plugged into a DSL or Cable modem. CiscoWorks ANI server cannot connect, Joe Clark please help

I noticed yesterday I was getting some Java errors when opening different modules of Cisco Works, Campus Manager, RME.
I rebooted the server and everything seemd to be working fine. I tried to set up Notification Services after the reboot and it seemed to go without incident.
This morning Common Services shows
"DCA Server is down or inaccessable"
Campus Manager shows:
"Cannot connect to ANI Server since it is down"

Is there any way this could have been related to me setting up Notification Services?
Something I noticed yesterday is that when setting up "Event Sets", nothing shows up.
Per the document (and I saw this yesterday after a reboot of the server (most likely what caused the problem), I should see a list of items to trigger notification and I can configure nine different sets.
But, I see "No Records" on the Event Sets page.
I see the A,B,C etc, but nothing under them.
After a reboot yesterday, then I saw the items and checked off for the different event sets.
My goal is to have an e-mail alert when switch or router interfaces go down , or high utilization of fragmentation.

Vista and 10g Http server +apex 3.0.1 Please help

previous unanswered post about not being able to find correct installation method.
I've setup 10gR2+Http server, installed apex 3.0.1 then copied images but from this point on cannot start http server with error 13 in app. log file.
10gEX + apex 3.0.1 works perfectly but my client will need more than 4GB of storage so wanted to upsize.
I've modified dads.conf and all other files as per guide but now http server is giving a '404' error. Should it be marvel.conf?
Can still access EM for 10g
Have checked alllocations for log files but none are being generated.
Have I broken HTTP server?
Please help or give some guidance as I have done this 9 times now without success!

Hi.
Oracle HTTP Server is part of a separate download, the Application Server 10g Realease 3:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/index.html
In the 'For Deployment" section, download the proper Zip File for Windows (It took an hour on my machine) and unzip to a writable folder on your server.
Then you must use the Universal Installer to install.
Choose 'Advanced Install" and choose the HTTP Server option.
Make sure to read the Installation Guide. Good Luck.
