"Server rejected an invalid flow" - RTMFP stops working.

Hi,
Sometimes RTMFP stops working on my server, and I have to restart it for RTMFP to work again.
Here is what I saw in the error log :

The "server rejected an invalid flow" can be seen very frequently on the log (core log) and the server doesn't necessarily go down.
For example :

OSX Server 3.2.1 Profile variables stopped working

Hi FOLKS,
since i upgraded our OXS Server to Version 3.2.1, i can´t use variables like %short_name% or %email% anymore.
Profile installtion fails with -invalid profile-.
Anyone ran into this problem too?
The log shows correct substituion of the needed variables, then creates this strange %20key% is invalid entry and finaly fails to install the profile.

I'm in the same boat and we have about 100 iPads that are in the pipe of getting delivered to customers.
We manage 2000+ ipads at the moment and these bugs are severely hurting our business.
We have a payload with SCEP and Certificates and a Wifi-Network that is using the %SerialNumber% variable to create unique certs for every iPads.
But after this update to 3.2.1 it's crippled and we can't enroll new iPads.
I'm in desperate need of a fix.
I've isolated it to that if i create one separate payload with the SCEP and the %SerialNumber% it generates it correct, but if I include the other stuff I need for it all to work it fails.

Check the time of edge server stop working

We have exchange 2010 in our environment. There is an edge role installed in a server. The server was hanged and mail service stopped working. But unfortunately we dont monitor these time.
How can we see the last time the edge server working i.e from when it stopped receiving mail from outside domain.
and what is the reason for server hanged?
NB: The whole time internal domain mail send/receive was ok.

In your event viewer it should give you some indication of when the server stopped responding. It can be due to updates, running out of resources, potential hardware failures.
If possible can u plz tell me where in event viewer(system,security....)

Concurrent Manager(s) stop working suddenly

Hello friends;
We are having a problem on production server, today the concurrent managers suddenly stopped working. We restarted them and log file came with following errors:

I checked alert.log and it has some following entries at same time when the error occurred:

Planahead.exe has already stopped working!

I has xilinx 12.4 compile worker and compile farm 2011 installed on windows vista 64bit as a compile server machine like the release notes telles me.
But when I launch a compile work remotely to compile an image for PXI 7953R with Labview 2011, the compile server said "planahead.exe has already stopped working!".
If I shutdown the warning window, compile work continued but another warning appeared after a while as "map.exe has already stopped working!" which may caused by the previous warning I think. Then, compile work stopped.
At the development side, it said "xilinx internel error".
Anybody has the same problem? Thanks for any reply.

Exchange email suddenly stops working - password incorrect message

For the couple of months that I've had my iPhone, I have had email/contacts/calendar working fine through syncing with an Exchange server. Now it's suddenly stopped working, coming up with a 'password' incorrect message no matter how many times I input the correct password. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the email account, but the same problem arises. The username and server details are all exactly the same as those with which I initially set up the account.
One thing I have noticed is that when going back into the Account Info page on the iPhone, the password entry indicates 8 characters even though my exchange password has 10 characters, which I'm fully inputting each time.
I know that many people have experienced problems getting the Exchange up and running; I'm confused, though, that having had it working fine it should suddenly 'drop' the password for no apparent reason. Any advice would be appreciated!

This problem seems to have resolved itself - the fault was with the Exchange Server, apparently.

Mail.app stopped working over IMAP to exchange 2003 server

Hi Peoples,
I'm posting this as a problem with the solution simply because of the absolute bizarre behavior that I observed....
PROBLEM
On Thursday night, without me having made any changes to either my mac or my exchange server, mail.app just stopped working. The problem was like many I've read about on various forums including this one but none of the solutions worked. Basically the problem was that the server would no longer authenticate mail.app's connection attempts. It failed both plain text and SSL with both NTLM and password style authentication. IMAP from a PC was still working OK (I keep this around for testing). So I tried the following...
Removed all the relevant keychain entries - no go
Removed the entire login keychain - no go
Removed & reconfigured the exchange account config from mail.app - no go
Removed the entire config from mail.app (i.e. removed ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist ) - bop-bong still no go
created a new IMAP service in exchange in case something was screwed there - no go
created a new user in exchange and tried that user - still no go
sledge hammer approach - reinstalled OS X - no go
48+ hours later... Getting very frustrated by now... scratching head...
SOLUTION
OK (should have done this much earlier and saved much pain), time to install another IMAP client on the mac and see what happens.... installed Thunderbird and low and behold it worked first go with and without SSL - hmmm
Restarted mail.app and reconfigured to use same settings as thunderbird (SSL with password authentication - no NTLM)
What the????? Now it all works again....
I cannot for the life of me figure out why this happened, and why only mail.app was affected. Obviously, something went screwy on the Exchange server and caused mail.app to have a coronary. Whatever it was, other IMAP clients seemed to be able to handle it. Was it the install and subsequent use of thunderbird that fixed it - I hope not but who knows...
Think I'll be keep thunderbird installed in case it happens again... very, very, very strange.
Anyways... hope this helps if anyone else experiences such unexplainable weirdness.

Just thought I'd update with the latest... This problem happened again this morning and again, the only way to fix it was to connect from the mac with another IMAP client (I used Thunderbird again) and immediately the problem was fixed.
Need to do some detailed network analysis here to see exactly what's going on but it's definitely a case of mail.app not playing nicely with Exchange (or vice versa).

My Samba server stopped working and I have no idea why.

I set up a samba server once I got arch installed and it was working like a boss for about a month. Then one day (i think the machine may have rebooted) it just stopped working. I can't access my samba share from any of my other machines (all running Windows 7). I hadn't changed anything so I don't know what the culprit is. I did some update and looked at the smb.conf file but everything seems to be in order. I also tried to connect with smbclient from the machine itself and I get an NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED error.
What's going on?

Hi,
My thought is to check the current IP of the server, as your smb.conf has the line interfaces = 192.168.1.109 which means samba will only listen on that interface for requests. If the IP of the server has changed, that would explain why samba isn't working.

Ical server/client suddenly stopped working together

I have 10.6.1 server with a group calendar served on a wiki. There are multiple users using 10.6.1 macbook, using ical to display/edit the group calendar. Server has a correctly configured FQDN. Apart from some niggles (will come to later), all has been fine for the last 2 weeks - all 10.6 clients have been able to connect without problems (to FQDN:8008/principals/wikis/groupadministration ). I do not have SSL. Today, one of the clients could no longer update the group calendar or refresh it (for changes from other people).
The following is in the client system log:

In the server caldavd error log:

There have been no changes to any set up and the user in question had no problems in the last 2 weeks, until today. I understand it just "stopped working" this morning - user can offer no further help.
In other niggles (possibly unrelated but if anyone can help):
* I have an older client, running 10.5.8 with no wish to upgrade to 10.6, as there are some software compatibility issues (Adobe CS2, Parallels 3) and no budge to update software. ical has never been able to connect to the ical server reliably - after the first update/sync, no further updates are possible.
* It is not possible to disable alarms to the group calendar in ical. Option-i, uncheck the box, and 30 seconds later the box is checked again. Each user has their own "personal" calendar in the group calendar, and some users like to have alarms. It is not possible to disable those alarms for other users.
Hope someone can help. All in all, I am not particularly impressed with SL server.

We recently installed Crystal Report XI in a Windows Server 2008 environment. After completed the installation as the Administrator every time that we try to execute Crystal we receive the following error message:

Hi, did you get this working? I'm really struggling to get up and running on 2008 R2, the CMS service just refuses to connect to the database. It also looks like the database wasn't created properly during the install. I set it up on an MSDE database, and when I look at it with sql management studio the database is there but there aren't any tables or anything else
Can anyone either confirm or deny that its possible to run Crystal XI on 2008 R2?
The error I'm getting when trying to start the service is:
The root server reported an error Initialization Failure. (Reason: Unable to connect to the database using the provided connection string. Reason: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified).
I've confirmed that the ODBC connections work (both 32 bit and 64 bit) via the built in test, but Crystal for some reason isn't happy

Problem installing SQL Server 2012 SP1: "managed sql server installer has stopped working"

I have a big problem.
I just downloaded SQL Server 2012 SP1 and I only want to install SSMS. The installer always crashes with an error message "managed sql server installer has stopped working".
I already tried all solutions from Google for this problem but nothing works.
Can someone help me plase?
My System: Window 8 Pro with Visual Studio 2012.

Tunes has stopped working on Windws server 2008R2 server.. I have new problem to run itunes.. it opens in debug mode and windows are closing by forcebly...please help to to resolve this issue

I was prompted for a quicktime update yesterday and ever since I can't connect my ipod. message says ipod has been detected but could not be identified properly. suggested i uninstall and reinstall itunes, which i did. still no success.

Write access to a directory for ASP 2.0 application stops working on Windows 2012 Standard Cloud Server

Just moved our ASP 2.0 based web application to a Windows 2012 Standard Cloud Server. A directory is used for temporary copying of files for the application. The Read Write access is properly given and everything works but then stops working
in about 2.5 hours. The settings are still there, to make things work again typically I add "Everyone" to the security list and apply and then 3 hours later I remove "Everyone" and this refreshes the security setting and things work
againg for a couple of hours. Last Cloud server was 2008 R2 and we had no issues. Recently moved to this new cloud server. Code has been functioning fine for years and can not migrate it to newer ASP since will have to make quite a few code
changes. Obviously a bug which needs to be addressed. Again the security settings do not disappear but are no longer handled properly every 3 hours or so.

Is there any other files have the same issue? Please create a test folder and give the same permissions with the directory for ASP 2.0 application to see if the issue still exists.
