Server time error
i can't chat anymore, whenever i send an IM, five seconds passes and i get a server time error. what up with that?
Are you using any additional programs on your mac like internet security or little snitch?
You are using iChatAV...correct not AIM?
Also, try creating a new user account on your mac, and see if the problem exists there as well.

Error in report RSPOR_SETUP : "Different Server Times"
Hi,
I installed BI 7 and I have configured the communication between BI and EP.
When I execute report RSPOR_SETUP to verify the configuration, I am getting the following error message at step 12 (Maintain User Assignment in Portal):
2. Compare SAP BI and EP Server Time
Different Server Times could be a reason for retrieving always an invalid SAP Logon Ticket.
SAP BI Server Time: 09:08:16 2007/03/23
SAP EP Server Time: Fri Mar 23 09:08:16 EDT 2007
The time is identical, but it seems that the format I causing me problem.
How can I configure the date format in EP and BI ?
Best regards, check the Note: 816761 and pasted it for you. May be this will help you.
There are new options to define how certain date formats (date, timestamp and time properties) will be formatted.
The following keys can be configured in:
EP6:
Configuration / Global Services / Property Metadata / Properties: Column "Additional Metadata"
NW04/NW04S:
Configuration / Global Services / Property Metadata / Properties: Select "Mode: Advanced". See column "Additional Metadata".
-Format
Use DateFormat defined patterns, DateFormat.SHORT, DateFormat.MEDIUM, DateFormat.LONG.
Documentation: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/DateFormat.html
as values: long/medium/short.
Example: format=long results in
Date type -> 17 January 2005
Timestamp -> 17 January 2005 16:09:23
Time -> 16:09:23
-customFormat
To set a customer pattern according to documentation: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/text/SimpleDateFormat.html
If the pattern is not correct, the default date format will be used.
Example: customFormat=dd.MM.yyyy hh:mm:ss -> 17.01.2005 04:09:23

Run Time Error while Transferring data to Application server
Hello Abaper's,
I have generated a XML data using the FM : " SAP_CONVERT_TO_XML_FORMAT ".
While transferring the data to a File on Application Server using the statement
DATA : wa_xmltab TYPE truxs_xml_line,
it_xmltab TYPE truxs_xml_table.
OPEN DATASET FNAME FOR OUTPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING DEFAULT.
IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
LOOP AT it_xmltab INTO wa_xmltab.
TRANSFER wa_xmltab TO FNAME. <<<<<<<<<<<<<< Getting Error here
ENDLOOP.
ELSE.
MESSAGE e004(zmsg5) WITH 'File FNAME not opened'.
ENDIF.
CLOSE DATASET FNAME.
The Run Time Error i am Facing is
Short text
The current statement is only defined for character-type data objects.
Error analysis
For the statement
"TRANSFER f TO ..."
only character-type data objects are supported at the argument position
"f".
In this case. the operand "f" has the non-character-type "TRUXS_XML_LINE". The
current program is a Unicode program. In the Unicode context, the type
'X' or structures containing not only character-type components are
regarded as non-character-type.

jvHello Volker Binder ,
Thank you . it's now transferring the data to Application sercver. I forgot to try using Binay mode,
Thers is one more problem. There are 10 Records in that internal table that is being converted to XML format,
but the XML data is showing only first 4 records.... the XML data format for the remaining data is not seen.

This 4th record data in XML is also incomplete..
The above XML format is generated only for 4 records out of 10 Records.
Please let me know , how can i increase the Size / Memory of the Application server file to accomodate for the reamining Records

Server Request Error EVERY TIME I try to create an Iphoto08 Gallery
I have a lot of space in my .mac account, and I’ve tried even with a just one-photo album, and I can’t put my gallery online.
Every time I try, the IPhoto08 starts connecting and after some seconds shows the same message: Server Request Error (Error en la petición para el Servidor – in Spanish)
Thanks for your help,7.0.2 is the update that's supposed to fix that problem. If you're still having problems then check to make sure your web gallery names do not have any quote marks or ' or other unusual characters.
Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -

BPC Optimization Server Time Out error message
We’re using BPC 7.5 MS and on patch level 111.02
There’s two front-end servers and one back-end.
When completing a full optimization with compression on an application we immediately get the optimization popup screen with no processing information only a “Server Time Out” error message.
Optimization was taking a long to time run and sometimes timed out. To try and resolve this issue we have just updated indexes and statistics and during our test in production we now receive the “Server Time Out” error message immediately. However, the records from tbl.Factwb and tbl.Fac2 did move to the tbl.Fact.
Our development environment test ran fine.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.Hi Michael,
please look in the logs maybe you will found more informations regarding the timeout and eventually share it.
There are several notes about a timeout in 10 version,

I have just spent over an hour waiting for the Itunes software to download the new ios5 software and it fails right at the end as a server timeout error.
WHY DO WE HAVE TO GO THROUGH ITUNES?? WHY CAN'T THE SOFTWARE BE PUT UP ON THE SUPPORT PAGES.THIS IS NOT A NEW PROBLEM AS I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD ANY UPGRADES FOR THE PAST YEAR ON MY PHONE AND IPADThis sounds like an ISP issue of some type on your end.
The Apple servers have been absolutely slammed and have been timing out, but certainly not for the past year.
Do you have an Apple Store nearby at which you can try downloading upgrades? -
i bought itunes match yesterday and i can not connect with the server. Error 4010 appear every tiem when i want to entry on itunes match.
ThanksHere are some things to try:
Close itunes
Check your internet settings.
Control Panel – Internet Options – Advanced
Check SSL 3.0 and TLS 1.0
Uncheck “Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)”
Click Apply
Click Okay
Open itunes and try again
And, you don't need to turn off the firewall, just add itunes and itunes helper to your security software firewall. -

I was trying to remote reboot and the session hung. No worries I decided I could just reboot the next morning. So I rebooted the next day but when I go into server manager I get
an errror can not refresh server manager Error:0x8007045b. Did some research found suggestions to fix it using a DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth.
But then I get an error 1115 A system Shutdown is in progress. I attempt to fix this issue using pskill winlogon but the issue pursistest. I have restarted the server several times now. Not sure how to fix this.

"Connection to server failed" error with Gmail exchange server
Hi,
I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 4.3 on Friday and now I can't access my Gmail account using the Microsoft Exchange settings, I just get a "Connection to server failed" error.
I also have a Google Apps email account for my website and I am able to access it using exchange... it's just my regular Gmail account that I can't access (and that's where all my contacts are stored).
I can access the account using the regular Gmail email settings but that doesn't sync my contacts over the air, which is the advantage of using Exchange that I love the most.
I don't know if it is related or not, but I had a really hard time upgrading to iOS 4.3. I guess the update file was corrupt and it put my phone into restore mode. I had to use a different computer for the upgrade to finally work. Because I was using a different computer I had to restore it as a new phone rather than restoring from a backup, so maybe that has something to do with my email problem.
Message was edited by: KJones75I seem to have solved the problem. I deleted my Gmail account from the phone and then changed my Gmail password from my computer, and then tried adding the account to my phone again... and surprise, surprise, it worked.
I'm not sure why changing the password fixed the problem, but I'm glad it's working again. -
Dear All,
During the transaction /n/sapapo/ccr (Reconsilation of transaction data) in client SCP 950, system displays the run time error which are attached herewith.
This is the activity a used to execute regularly (Daily) and first time i recieved this message - -
Runtime Errors ASSERTION_FAILED
Date and Time 13.07.2007 10:13:37
ShrtText
The ASSERT condition has been violated.
What happened?
In the current application program, the system recognized a situation
involving the ASSERT statement that should not occur. A runtime error
occurred, either because there was no activation ID entered or because
the ID of the activation mode used was set to "Cancel.
What can you do?
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.
is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
Error analysis
The following activation ID was used: "No checkpoint group specified"
If the FIELDS addition was used with this ASSERT statement, the content
of the first 8 fields is as follows:
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
" (not used) "
How to correct the error
Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
use the following search criteria:
"ASSERTION_FAILED" C
"/SAPAPO/SAPLTIMESTAMP" or "/SAPAPO/LTIMESTAMPU08"
"/SAPAPO/TIMESTAMP_DIFFERENCE"
If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
Save->Local File (unconverted)".
2. A suitable printout of the system log
To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
"System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
supply the source code.
To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
Upload/Download->Download".
4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
or which actions and input led to the error.

How can I fix a time error on my MacBook?
How can I fix a time error on my MacBook?
If, after checking the settings in Sys Pref> Date/Time nothing really changes
you could see if a reset of the NVRAM could help.
Read carefully & when using the keyboard sequence, let the computer
start tone sound three times, to be sure the reset has really occurred.
•About NVRAM & PRAM:

Does the time gain by itself? Is the Time Server set to automatically
keep the computer time corrected when you are online? You may
also try the manual settings, if the computer had not been used in
some time, because if the battery gets too low, the capacitor in a
portable computer can also lose power, & NVRAM - PRAM chip
settings could be lost. However by then, Date can also be wrong.
Was there anything else going on that may have affected this?
Sometimes odd items are related to something else.
Good luck & happy computing!
