Hi all here is the case.
My systme is solution manager 7 ehp1
recently just undergo system copy homogeneus to change the system number from 01 to 00
ABAP become 00, SCS become 01
The import is success, but the problem is not the server0 could not get started, during the phase starting application.. the error is pointing to failed connection to sap gateway service..

Found out that it still try to connect to sapgw01, now the solution manager system number is 00 no longer 01.
Anywhere in configtool / offlineconfig for me to change and point the gateway to correct port ?

It seems there is a port opening issue at server level. also check if host file entries are correct
Also check in your DEFAULT and START profile parameter SAPSYSTEM =00

SRMSUS_SELFREG Partner not found

When EBP business partner is copied to SUS via BBP_SP_SUPP_INI, an email is sent to the vendor with a registration ID that allows this vendor to create an admin user in SUS.
This function is standard in SUS and is one of the main reasons we're using SUS.
Currently, when trying to register a user with that auto-generated registration ID, the screen outputs error: "[some german stuff], Partner not found or is not a vendor/bidder".
I've looked at ALL the OSS notes in relation to this BSP page, and although the outcome is the same, the symptoms are different, as the error is different. The error in the OSS notes display registration ID is invalid, which isn't the case in my situation.
Hasn't anyone seen this error? Is this a configuration error or could this be a bug.

There's a view to mantain the BUPA attributes....
There you will find some attributes like, email, default communication channel, etc..
What you need to do there is to fill/check the partner as portal and that its bidder... Other change that you will need to do is: XML as output medium to receive thru XI the PO and documents related to SUS.

1- transaction : CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE
select org structure where your user is and check that you have green lights (no missing address....)
2- Run transaction USERS_GEN
Select check user
Is everything correct or does the user need to be repaired ?

Please share the error message in the IDOC.
If the error message is IHC204 "No valid clearing partner was found", it may be due to the missing correct configuration in Set Up Creation of Payment Requests for Inbound IDoc in FI, which links the clearing partner, ALE logical system partner type and IHC account number.

I am managing a Windows Server 2008. When I go into the Group Policy Management Council and attempt to edit, or add group policy it comes up with an error "Failed to open Group Policy [...] The Network Path was not found." I am new to using Windows Servers and quite confused as to the problem.

This problem may be related to network access. I list some common factors and corresponding troubleshooting steps as below. Please check them one by one and let me know the result.
1> DNS issue
From the problematic PC, please run the following commands and then check if the issue still exists:
1) Can you ping FQDN of the DCs in your networks?
2) Can you ping IP of all the DCs in your networks?
3) Does the DNS configuration point to the correct DNS server?

2) Type nslookup, and then press Enter; Type set type=all, and then press Enter.
3) Type _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.<yourdomainname>, and then press Enter to check the result.

Ensure you logon DC using the user with domain administrator privilege. If so, please check if you have the proper permission on sysvol files under %systemroot% and inf file under %system root%

By default, Group policy object editor connects PDC role to enumerate GP settings. Please
refer to the following article to confirm which DC is PDC role:

Partner not found/ Recipient Party is Invalid

Hi,
Earlier i was getting XML stuck in SCM Inbound ( SMQ2), later i removed the leading zeroes from the Idoc in ECC using WE19 for testing purpose. Now the message is not getting stuck in SMQ2 but I am getting below error.
My vendor number is 1084585 & I have assigned the business partner in /n/sapapo/loc3 also.
Any pointers?

In case you have created the Business Partner ( BP ) manually in SCM system, please delete it & create it via CIF from ECC. Before you create it via CIF please ensure Identification tab is enabled on the BP. For the Identification tab to get enabled you can execute transaction BUSP in SCM system with option "All Screens". Once this is done from ECC you need to CIF your Vendor using CFM1 - In this select Vendor and on the option of Create Loc./ BP select "Both". The CIF of BP will ensure external Vendor number is mapped with your business partner and your XML will not fail then.

JSP file not found. server.xml/web.xml problem?

I have a login.jsp that accepts username and password. Once login is approve, it calls main.jsp file as follows using <jsp:forwards>:

Problem is that the server returns "file not found", when I'm sure the main.jsp is right there! I suspect there is some configuration problem with the Tomcat, but I donno what. Do I need to edit the server.xml or web.xml, coz I didn't?

please check that the jsp file to which you are forwarding the request exist at the same location where forwarding jsp exists.

Partner Not Found

We have SRM 4.0 SP10 and we have the following issue:
A user that change between different companies (company A to B) in the system. And instead a creation of a new user, the A was eliminated by mistake (even the partner trought BUPA_TEST_DELETE) and a new as created in company B. Or we have a user repaired and the document was in approving process. The PARTNER_NO change or does not exist.
All the documents created by the user as the following error (example):
Partner 44C7C1273C222A44E1000000AC110105 not found.
Do we have any solution for this error.

Check in table CRMD_PARTNER if you can find the partner GUID 44C7C1273C222A44E1000000AC110105 in fields Partner_guid or Partner_no or in table BUT000. If not your partner is really deleted.
In this case I never did this but you could try to modify your newly created partner and change his PARNTER_NO guid from table CRMD_PARTNER and PARTNER_GUID from table BUT000 with the old GUID. This is not adviced to change tables directly but in your case it could be necessary.
Advice : Try this first with reproducing the error in development system.
Also if you ever made client copy to validation system you could check if partner exists in validation system. If it's there you could maybe reimport it or recreate it with exact values.

Partner function not found

Hi All,
We are getting an error as shown in the screenshot below for a particular user.
- The user Id is also faulty and when we try to repair the user we get an error that there are open SC.
- Even if we try to complete the GR using other user id which has Secretary Role (Purchase Assistant à GR/SE for other user), it shows the same error Partner not found with partner type Goods Receipt".
Any pointers to this will be very useful.

A purchaser is getting the following error message while trying to convert a approved SC to PO
Warning: No address data found
Error: No Addresses found for partner function type Requester
Error: Partner not found with partner function type Requester

Error: Partner not found with partner function type Ship-To-Party
I've checked the Requester using BBP_CHECK_USERS to find that the user is consistent.
Any idea what might be causing this issue?

POA won't load after Server Crash - 8209 file not found err

Groupwise server crashed recently (apparently from bad RAID controller, which has been replaced). Server is back up an running now (SLES 10 sp3 VM running under XEN, GW 2012 sp1). Have performed a rebuild on Primary Domain and also on single Post Office. MTA loads OK, as does GWIA but POA fails to come up, giving "Path Not Found - 8209 error" message. Path to WPhost.db is correct both in C1 and in the startup file. When loading POA with --show option, I see the aforementioned error and then when I clear that I see on the screen (for a brief moment):
"Rebuilding Guardian Database because of C0221... please stand by"
Then it terminates and screen disappears.
I know that restoring from backup is one option, but that cannot be done until Monday at the earliest and that, of course, is dependent on having good backups. Therefore, I was wondering if there is a way to fix this problem to get the system back up quicker. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

P.S. There is only 1 Primary domain and 1 PO in this small GW system and yes, I know, one should have at least 1 secondary domain.

OK, I backed up all copies of ngwguard.* from the PO directory. Then, I deleted ngwguard.db and copied the ngwguard.fbk (same exact file size as the deleted ngwguard.db) from ofmsg/guardbak folder to the PO directory as ngwguard.db. Now, I did notice that there was no ngwguard.fbk in the PO directory but instead a ngwguard.dba file, which I left as is. I then started the POA - ./gwpoa --show @po.poa & and now it no longer gives me "Path Not Found" error, but instead it displays:
"opened a file that was not a flaim file C03F"
I click OK on this warning and then POA monitor screen displays for 2 seconds "rebuilding ngwguard.db ..." before it bails and terminates.
So, is it looking more and more like a ngwguard.db problem as opposed to wphost.db? And, I am of course curious why using that backup of ngwguard would not work. In any event, today I will be trying to get backups of wpdomain.db and wphost.db off of tape and perhaps I should restore ngwguard.db as well - this is dependent, of course, on having a good backup that is restorable. If that is not the case, is there an option to rebuild the ngwguard.db file? Thanks.

Quite possibly. You do need both a wphost.db and an ngwguard.db file for the
POA to properly load. There should be two relatively "new" copies in the
system:
ngwguard.fbk in the same folder as the PO, and then the ngwguard.fbk in the
ofmsg/guardbak folder.
Try copying one of these as ngwguard.db in the PO folder, and if that doesn't
work, you will need to go to "backup" to restore.

Thanks when I put the actual IP addresses it worked. Now I have few questions, it would be great help if you could answer them.
1. The machine where B2B Integration is installed has been assigned with multiple IP addresses. Only the first two set of numbers are same and the last two numbers are different. For example : 10.90.12.80, 10.90.18.22. Therefore for the host partner if I need to assign the Generic Identifier which IP do I need to choose? Also which IP I should be using for the Transport Server?
2. I want to accept all the cXML ORDER messages sent by all trading partners(TP) to resolve one TP in B2B Integration. We are going to lookup the TP in our BPEL process, so we only need the B2B integration to validate the document sent in . Therefore all the four subnets in the IP address may vary. In this case I cannot use a IP address therefore how can I specify the Generic Identifier? Or is there any different method I can use?
3. I receive my cXML punchout from my trading partners from different countries, for example say Italy and France. The trading partner id is same but the country from where the punchout originated is different. I don’t have any other field in the message to determine which country the order originated from but I need to figure out the country code some how. In current implementation we have different URL for each country to resolve the country code. How can I do this in B2B Integration tool?
4. Is there a way to Dynamically change the URL that a Delivery channel is supposed to send to? If a customer changes the URL that a document is supposed to go to, can we change this on the fly?

I have tried from so many forms. This is so frustrating. Thank for everyone/anyone who wants to help. So this is what happened: I had to uninstall my previous sqlserver 2012(which worked great) for some reason, and I uninstalled everything from that download.
Then I installed the trial edition of sql server 2012 (64 Bit) and It wouldn't connect to the database. (Error mentioned above.) My local DB is COWBOYS. (COWBOYS is also my computer name.) After this, I have tried downloading sqlexpress and sqlserver 64bit
many times and cannot connect to my local DB.
How do I connect to my Local DB?
Also, I think this might help: (When I run sqlserve.exe, which I was able to find in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\LocalDB\Binn, I get an error: Your SQL server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with(Error getting
instance ID from name). Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.
I would happily re install it, if it wasn't my 20th time.
I don't have any remote connections, I don't use username/password, only window authentication. I work mostly on visual studio, but without able to store /retrieve data, I don't know how to survive.

It sounds like there are a couple things going on here. First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance. Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error. If you get an error, post the error message your hitting. If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect. If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog. Ex: "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name. However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format. Ex: COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install. Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.
