ServeRaid M1015 Status LED codes?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone know where to find the status codes for the 2 bicolor-LEDs on the backside of an M1015 near the bracket/PCIe-connector ( http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/9996/20120830100410hdr.jpg at the lower right in this image).
The designation for them seems to be CBB3 and CBB4.
I have a problem where one of my cards is constantly lighting them ORANGE and cannot be seen by the OS. The other two cards that work fine just blinnk them green during the boot process.
Thankful for any guidance!

  • Cisco 1131 access point status led

    Hi
Any one experienced a white light on the status led, its the "ring light" infront of the AP. ive checked on http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/access_point/1130/installation/guide/113h_c4.html where all colours are listed and none point done to white.
    ANy ideas?
    Thanks

Here's an update on this issue. I have had about a 2% failure rate on my 3502i's due to blue, green, and white light freezing. We sent several unit to Cisco's wireless engineer team in Richfield. They have found the issue and have written a fix and are currently doing testing this weekend. They are sending a senior wireless engineer to my office on Monday morning to apply the fix on the 200 units that we have yet to deploy. This is the bad part: the fix can only be applied through the console port and they won't have this integrated into a controller code until May/June. The good news is they have a fix or will just RMA with no questions. I have a webex with their wireless team to explain exactly what the issue is, but from what I gathered is something to do with the boot loader image and the IBM chip in the unit. I will follow up with you guys on Mon/Tues.

  • MSI BIG BANG Xpower II boot issue - LED code 9A

    Hello all,
I am facing to issue after BIOS update from 2.6 to 2.7. After update was machine working properly. But after one crash of OS cant boot at all. Crash was probably caused by overloading GPUs but there were no issue with cards and this board during 3 weeks of 100% GPU and CPU load. No video (connected only one GPU card), no Numlock key/led is working (this is good test if PC is reacting even no picture).
Board: MSI BIG BANG XPOWER II
    Bios: Version 2.7
    VGA:  4x AMD SAPPHIRE Radeon R9 290x
    PSU:   Silverstone 1500W (gold)
CPU:   Intel Core i7-4930K 3.4GHz (3.9GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 2011
    MEM: 1x Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL10 HyperX blu Edition
    HDD: WD Blue 256gb 5400
    COOLER: NOCTUA NH-D14
    OC: 3.9GHz
    OS: Windows 8.1 64bit Professional
    Tried
    - switch BIOS from A to B also C (with small switch).
    - cleared Cmos with onboard button.
    - removed Battery for a while
System start booting and stuck always on 9a LED code.
From manual it looks like it is USB, SATA initialisation phase.
I think CPU or Mem should be fine.
Anyone who met this issue or any sollution?
I am thinking to replace this board under warranty.
    Thanks for any info..

    Hi Froggy,
    Thanks for reply.
But I have tried disconnected all USB devices and got same LED code. If this happend because of some USB configuration in BIOS why reset of CMOS did not help?
It very well could be setting(s) in the BIOS, but I am not qualified to be of much assistance when Win 8/8.1 is involved.

  • MSI Big Bang Xpower II did not post - Debug LED Code #67

    I need HELP...!
I have a problem my board did not post , did not start and i have the DEBUG LED CODE # 67 displayed.
    There is my build
MSI Big Bang Xpower II X79 LGA2011
    Intel Core i7 3820 LGA2011 Processor
Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H100 CPU Cooler System LGA2011
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series memory (F3-12800CL-32GBZL) DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 - CL10-10-10-30 (8192MB X 4) - 32GIG located in DIMM 1-3-5-7
Gigabyte GTX570 OC Edition video card in slot PCI-E2
    Western Digital Velociraptor 300GB 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s 10,000 RPM
    LG BH12LS35 Blu-Ray Writer 12X BD-R 16X
    Ultra LSP-750 Power Supply
Cooler Master HAF X EATX Tower Case
When I put the power on, the power supply activated fans and drives spin, all the LEDs on the motherboard light up but nothing appears on the screen.
No video signal at all and the computer stop and restrart every 15 seconds. When these reset occurs there is no beep on the speaker , nothing at all, no flashing screen either, nothing.
The DEBUG LED display a sequence of flashing numbers 19 - 60 - 19- 60 - 67 and stop showing still the number # 67 for about ten seconds and then he reset again.
I carefully followed the instruction manual for the installation, I installed the memory modules in slots 1 3 5 7, i put my video card in slot PCI-E2. all the power wire are connected correctly 1 x 24 pins ATX, 2 x 8 pins ATX, 1 X 6 pins , all the wire from the front panel are correctly connected to the m-connector in JFP1 & 2.
Did i forget something, I don’t know what the debug led code # 67 exactly mean and what i have to do to fix-it
Someone has an idea what is wrong or have any suggestion to solve this issue.
     Thank's all for your help.

I followed some advice to remove the memory modules and this is actually caused by the use of memory but you will see I still have a curious bug.
I referred to the instructions manual to the letter for the choice of DIMM SLOT to put the memory module in single, double, triple and quad channels.
If I install 1 memory module in the DIMM SLOT  1 to operate in single channel, everything is normal and the motherboard  POST normally and show  the SETUP SCREEN.
If I install 2 memory modules in  DIMM SLOT  1 & 3 to run in dual channel, everything is normal and the motherboard  POST normally and show  the SETUP SCREEN.
If I install three memory modules in DIMM SLOT 1 - 3 - 5 to run in triple channel, everything is normal and the motherboard POST normally and show  the SETUP SCREEN.
As soon as I install four DIMMs modules mémoiredans SLOT 1 - 3 - 5 - 7 to run in quad channel, the motherboard  freezes and does NOT POST and show  code 67 on the debug led and has reset itself every 20 seconds.
I tried all my RAM modules alternately in both single channel and everything works normally.
I did the same thing in rotation for both dual and triple channel and everything is still normal with all fourth memory modules individually.
As soon as I put a fourth memory module it freezes and displays the code 67 or L9 dependent side as you look.
So my bug is my motherboard MSI Big Bang Xpower II do  not want  to work in quad channel.
Do you have any idea where I should look for, is a setting in the BIOS  , I have flashed the bios to the latest version V1.5
I included the screenshot of the BIOS to see if you can  notice something wrong.
    Thank you

  • Cisco 1131AG LWAP status led yellow and other leds blinking green

I have a problem with three AIR-LAP1131AG-E-K9  that joined the controller and the status led turns to yellow after joining the controller while other LEDs are blinking green.
The APs has no coverage at all although the WCS shows that there is coverage and the 4400WLC shows that the AP interfaces are UP. (The ethernet interface and tha 802.11b,g radio interface is up).
    The SSID broadcast is enabled.
On the switch the interface is up and there is traffic going in and out of the LAP.
I tired power reset and factory reset for the APs but the problem remains the same.
Any ideas for what might be the problem ?!!
    Regards

Yes the clients are not able to see the SSID broadcasted by the AP.
But these APs were functioning normally before without any changes to the WLC config.
I had the same problem with other APs but they went back to normal state after a hardware reset to the APs.

  • P35 Neo 2 LED Code, What does it mean?

Computer won't boot, stops at splash screen, can't get into bios.
Hangs on LED code G-R-G-R "Testing Base and  Extended Memory..."
Tried booting with only the bare essentials, same code. Tried booting with no memory, hangs on "Memory Detection Test" R-R-G-R. Which leads me to believe it's something other than the memory sticks (although the memory sticks aren't listed on MSI's compatability test report). Which is why I'm asking exactly what the Extended Memory code means. If it's a fault with the MB or maybe with the memory sticks not being compatible.
    Here's my system specs...
-Antec Three Hundred ATX Computer Case
    -Antec TruePower Trio TP3-430 ATX12V Power Supply - 430 W
    -Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E8500 3.16GHz 1333MHz 6MB LGA775 CPU
    -MSI P35 Neo2 Intel Cpu Socket 775 Motherboard 7345 Ver:1.2  Bios version 1.8
    -PATRIOT PSD22G8002 2GB PC2-6400 (DDR2-800)
    -GeForce 7600GT video card
Any input before I RMA the MB or buy new memory would be appreciated.

New build, I havn't gotten it past the splash screen. I first thought that maybe I needed to flash the bios to a newer version, but according to MSI's website v1.8 is fine for that cpu. I'm just curious what would cause it to hang up on that particular code.

  • Error message a.2 beep/power LED codes

have a new 8200 elite convertible mini tower that has beep/power LED codes of 4 beeps - power LED blinks red 4 times @ 1hz - probable causse power failure - power supply overloaded - check storage devices expanion cards and/or system board (CPU power connector P#3 what does this mean?

    Hello ben2039,
Try these solutions in this order
1.Check that the voltage selector, located on the rear of the power supply, is set to the appropriate voltage. Proper voltage setting depends on your region.
    2. Open the hood and ensure the 4-wire power supply cable is seated into the connector on the system board.
    3. Check if a device is causing the problem by removing ALL attached devices (such as hard, diskette, or optical drives, and expansion cards). Power on the system. If the system enters the POST, then power off and replace one device at a time and repeat this procedure until failure occurs. Replace the device that is causing the failure. Continue adding devices one at a time to ensure all devices are functioning properly.
    4. Repair / Replace the power supply
    5. Repair / Replace the system board.

  • FP-1600 Status LED blinks 17 times.

My FieldPoint bank has 9 modules. I previously had a problem with the FP-TB-10 power and ready lights blinking, but that was because one of my dual-channel modules was not seated correctly. Now the status LED is blinking 17 times. The manual says to contact NI about this. The FieldPoint Explorer seems to find all of the modules correctly, though. Anyone know what's up?

    Aaron,
I checked the firmware and the FieldPoint Explorer version, and I'm using 3.20 and 3.0, respectively. When I power cycle the FP-1600, the 17 blinks of the status LED go away. Communication works, and all of the devices are found. However, communication does drop out from time to time, and eventually the status LED begins blinking 17 times again.
A possibly related issue is that the FP-AI-V10 dual-channel module that I have plugged into slot 2 of the FP-TB-10 base causes the FP-TB-10 to flash its power and ready LEDs. Re-seating the FP-AI-V10 seems to fix this, although the module is definitely already clicked into place when I see this problem. Upon reseating (or just pressing on it without removing the module), the FieldPoint Explo
    rer program finds this module.
I'm tempted to think that this issue with the FP-TB-10 and FP-AI-V10 are unrelated to the FP-1600's status LED blinking 17 times because even with the FP-TB-10 removed from the bank, I still get the flashing LED.
Any ideas? Also, what is a GPF type error?
    Thanks,
    Jake

I believe that FF.5 will allow the upload of this statement and then we can use transaction FPS3 to select the particular records so as to create Memo records in Cash Management. Can anyone guide me if we can also create memo records for the 'status' BAI codes from this statement. Example- creating memo records for BAI code '040' - Opening available, '060' Closing available, etc. These status BAI codes are part of '03' record type in the current day bank statement. Any help or sharing of your experience on this will be very helpful.

    Satyen,
For creating Memo records for the status BAI codes like 040-Opening available, 100-Total Credits, 400-Total Debits, etc., you will have to create a pre-processor program. This will rewrite the original bank statement received from the bank and create 16 records for these status BAI codes.
For e.g.  the 03 record in one account looks as follows in the file received from the bank.
    03,99999538,USD,010,82499230,,,015,82499230,,,030,82499230,,,/
The preprocessor program will rewrite this as follows:
    03,99999538,USD,,,,/
    16,010,82499230,,,/
    16,015,82499230,,,/
    16,030,82499230,,,/
    and so on.
Then this rewritten BAI file is uploaded into SAP using FF_5. Then you can go into FPS3 and create memo records for these status codes.
I have been using this method with lot of success.
If anyone has different suggestion that would help me too.

  • Lenovo 3000 N500 23G Battery Status LED problem.

I am having problems with the Battery Status LED on my new laptop.  The LED turns blue at around 22-30% charge and the Hardware manual indicates it should be 95%, also the LED remains lit when fully charged on battery power when it should be off. The biggest problem is that I have no idea on when the battery is charged and I should not need to boot into windows to check this.
I have already returned an identical model to the retailer for the same reason, they did confirm that the unit was faulty and send me another which seems to have the same suspected fault.
Has any one else have the same problem as me, I am not too sure if I should return the 2nd unit for a refund and look elsewhere?
I did contact Lenovo support before and was advised to get it repaired under warranty, I did not need to do this as the unit is less than 30 days old and I wouldbe entitled to a refund or replacement.
Below is an excerpt from the manual I downloaded from this website.
    Thanks, Mark.
Blue: The battery is charged to 95% or more of its capacity.
Blinking blue: The battery is being trickle-charged
Orange: The battery is being normally charged
Off: The computer is operating on battery power, and the battery has enough power
Blinking orange: The computer is operating on battery power, and the battery is charged to no more than 8% of capacity.)

The battery is going to fail on this unit; actually it is a defect in the circuit built into the battery the detects charge level.  It has been happening quite frequently with IBM/Lenovo batteries these days.  If you have warranty left, get the unit in for repair or you will be out of luck like the rest of us who bought these units with failure prone batteries and a poor excuse for product quality.  If you care to help your fellow Lenovo owners, call, email, write, picket, jump up and down, do what ever you have to do to voice your concern and complaint to as high a person as you can at IBM and Lenovo.  We have to keep the heat on at a corporate level at both IBM and Lenovo, to remind them that there is a price to pay for the fact that they do not care about their customers.

    Hi,
I carried out an upgrade in 4507R with 2 sup V, I loaded in both card 12.2(53)SG10 and I confirmed the redundancy is working
I don't understand why both status led (for Sup V) are in red.
the loggs do not show error ,  any idea how can I identify the reason of red color in status led?
    regards

    Hello,
The status LED can actually lend useful information regarding the potential culprits to your issue. You can check out the STATUS LED Error Indications in the 1601 User Manual.
In this case, it looks like you should contact National Instruments directly since it seems as though the module did not power on correctly. You may have to return your unit for replacement or repair.

  • Sun Fire X2100  Blinking Status LED...

We have 3 new Sun Fire X2100 servers at my current job. Just recently the status LED (orange) started blinking. The logs show fine and running a prtdiag shows everything up and running fine. Is there a way to turn off the blinking LED? I have gone over every piece of information I can find and have found nothing about how to turn this off once it has started blinking.

This may be one of two issues:
    - There's a know ILOM/nge driver bug in eariler releases of S10 x86 (pre 6/06).
    - There's a know issue with an older firmware rev of the BIOS/LOM where the net management port hangs/drops out and triggers the blinking fault LED. Do you know what BIOS revision you are at?
Most times a mobo swap is NOT the fix. You may be making the problem worse because we have mobos in the supply chain with older firmware revisions.
On the X2100's I usually have my customers try:
    - Moving the RAM in different slots
    - Updating the BIOS/LOM firmware
    - Running the PC-Check diags
... before I send a field tech out to do major surgery.
