Service account being used in Availability Address Space

We are A.com and have availabilityaddressspace created with a partner company B.com. Both A.com and B.com use Exch 2007.
F/B sharing works great. No issues at all, has been working for many years.
I am trying to find out the service account which we used while configuring the availability address space.
Get-availabilityaddresspace | fl reveals that serviceaccount is beign used but it does not talk about the service account being used. I checked properties of availabilityaddress space in ADSIEDIT and nothing reveals about the service account being used.
There is an account revalidation happening and i need to find out which service account is being used to mke sure its not deleted in both the companies.. any help on this will be appreciated.

Use the Get-AvailabilityConfig cmdlet to retrieve the accounts that are trusted in cross-forest exchange of free/busy information.
The Get-AvailabilityConfig cmdlet lists the accounts that have permissions to issue proxy availability service requests on an organizational or per-user basis.

Microsoft Online Services Team notifications use 'alternate email address'

Could someone direct me to where I can log a 'feature request' or report what I actually consider to be a 'bug' in how Microsoft uses user profile information in Office 365? Maybe this is the right place...???
Anyway, it seems like a really bad choice to use the email address provide for the purpose of emergency account access (if you lose your password) for notifications about your Office 365 account.

If you forget your password, we will use this email to help you reset it and sign in to your Office 365 account.
So, for example, my wife works for a firm for which I am the Partner of Reference on their Office 365 account. My wife is the local admin for the firm's Office 365 account and has given her personal Yahoo email account for the above required 'alternate
email address'. So now, every time I get a notification about their account from the Microsoft Online Services Team, she gets a CC to her personal email account. This is not only illogical and annoying, but violates the stated purpose for providing the alternate
email address. That, in my opinion, make it a 'bug'.

Service Accounts being crawled

Dear all,
I have just setup a SP2013 search center. In the people search, I am able to search out managed service users (e.g. sp_search, which I created to run the search application) are being searched out as a normal users. Of course, they can create a blog
(since I have My Site Host site collection created) if someone login with it.
I think I have missed something in Active Directory configuration? How can I mark sp_search as a service account not a Sharepoint or Windows users? Thanks.

Hi Mark,
Also check if you have imported the service accounts to SharePoint User service profile database from AD due to the Synchronization Connection.
Please go to user profile service application and click "Configure Synchronization Connection", make sure the connection is connected to your Organizational Unit (which doesn't contain the service accounts) containing required users from AD, then start a
full synchronization to make sure these service accounts profile don't exist in User profile service db, then start a full search crawl and check results again.

Dummy profit center and profit center clearing account being used

Dear Gurus,
We are implementing ECC 6.0 and will have FI PCA.
I have 2 profit centers.(and one dummy profit center 9999)
1)RM common
2) FG1
When RM is issued to production order and order is confirmed, the goods movement are 261 and 101 respectively.
the entry at the time of confirmation is
Discription                          Profit center
Consumption of RM             9999
To RM inventory                RMCommon
FG Inventory dr                  FG1
To Factory output account 9999
What should actually happen is instead of 9999 consumption of RM should hit profit center RM common and instead of 9999 the factory output account should hit FG1.
The profit center clearing account is being used for the entry in the GL view (as opposed to entry view in accounting)
Only then will accounting treatment be correct.
I have checked field statuses of the respective accounts and they have profit center and segment as optional fields.
Can you suggest what may be wrong and where i need to change the splitting config.

Profit Center is derived from the assignment of Profit center in material master in costing view.
In the production scenario,
Consumption of raw material Dr - PC of FG
Cr Stock of RM - PC RM
Dr Stock of FG - PC FG
Cr confirmation of production of the Finished goods - PC FG
The reason for that is the production order is created with respect to the Finished Goods, master data of the production order inherits from the Finished goods.

New Server: How do we aim ALL users email accounts to use the new addresses

We have a new server which we are using for mail (incl. smtp), we need to be able to make it so when a user logs in and loads mail (just like they would have done before) it finds their new email account as seamlessly as possible.
In a windows environment (*i know i heard the groan before i said it but thats the system i know*) i know exchange would force all of the new settings through to each user remotely. Does apple have a solution like this or are we really going to have to login as each user and setup their accounts for them. This would take literally weeks.
I'm pretty sure there is a way to do this, but i couldn't find any previous posts about it.... hope this is in the right place edit:now and i will be extremely grateful to anyone who can help me with this issue.
Other Info: Mac OSX server environment with approx 260 Macs on Tiger, Mail version 2.1 and over 900 users. 100 of whom have been transferred manually by setting the accounts up and entering settings in each of the users mail applications. each user is using roaming profiles so when it's done once it's done over the entire network.

Thanks for the feedback am trying to work on a script now but can't get enough info about applescript, There is a setting in workgroup manager which says email when it is activated and we type in the users email address it should be feeding through from the next logon. This isnt the case for some reason.
All mail is backed up and ready to reinstate if necessary, our other problem with documentation or any kind of user input is that we are a primary school with an entirely MAC network with only two technical support and i was based from a windows background...... *** to be us at the moment. lol
If this was exchange we'd just link to Active directory and be done with it.......

Encore not using full available disc space

So. I frequently burn DVDs with Encore with timelines that are 2 hours or longer. Beginning in CS5, Encore would start only using up 4.2GB of space even though the size of my disc image was 4.7GB. Before the material is rendered, Encore says it's using all 4.7GB, with a few MB left over. But once it's done rendering, sometimes there's an extra 500 MB unused. It doesn't always happen but usually does. If I click around in Encore a bit, the disc info panel updates to show all the extra unused space.
This was not the case in any previous version of Encore. Tech support people tried to tell me this was a feature, that Encore was now including 10% of buffer space. What an idiotic feature, but ok, whatever.
So I started trying to fool Encore by setting the disc size to 5.2 GB. And most of the time I'd come out w/ an image using all the available space on the DVD. Except, that doesn't always work. Right now I have a project that's 1 hour 45 minutes. When I render a disc of 5.2 GB size, that's exactly how much space the disc image takes up. Ok, so I re-render at 4.7 GB. Nope, it's gonna do 4.22 GB. WTF??? And then sometimes, for no clear reason at all, Encore will make a 4.7 GB image without me changing a thing.
If this was really a feature, it's not implemented consistently, and then why tell me my disc is using 4.7 GB before rendering if Encore has no intention of using that much space.
I brought this problem up back when CS5 came out--I talked to senior-level support people about it--and can't believe that two versions later it hasn't been fixed. It's wasting incredible amounts of my time.
The cycle hasn't ended for as long as I've been buying Creative Suite...every version, lots of my long-standing frustrations are fixed, but Adobe manages to screw up one big thing. And I give in and pay for the next version in hopes that it gets fixed...but something else then gets screwed up. Another several hundred dollars later and now I guess I have to wait for CS7 to maybe have this work correctly.

.me account being used for spam

I have recently been recieving spam / junk mail usining my .me email address. Sent to me from me, with content that is obviously not from me. And they are being sent at times when I am no where near my computer ???

change password on the account. if that doesn't help, dump the account and start a new one.

IOS 8.1.2 Location Services constantly being used

There is a bug with 8.1.2 and I am not sure where to report it.
Location services is constantly in use.
The System Services settings I disabled were apparently reenabled with the iOS 8.1.2 update and this is killing the battery on my iPad 3.
I have a solution but really this should not be happening in the first place so where do I log this bug?

You can see which app is using location services here: Settings > Privacy > Location Services.
Apps with a purple arrow next to them are using your location services.

HT1920 I was recently asked for account info on an account that used an email address that had been hacked. how can I get rid of this account record or the account itself.

I was recently asked for a password for an email on the App store. The email was very old and was one that was hacked so I removed it from my email list. Now I have no record of the account, its password or security questions, and obviously I can't receive email on the account. How can I eliminate this account. I may have already divulged ninfo to this address that could get into the hands of a hacker.

Email size limits are imposed by mail providers, not the operating system. They usually vary in the 20-25 MB range.
The limit is for an individual email plus any attachments it may have. The only way to release that email message is to reduce the size of the attachment if you can do so. The limitation itself is from your email provider so there isn't anything you can do to change the limit.

Unable to login to eprintcenter. I have a snapfish account and used that email address and password

I was certain to enter the correct email and password. I am able to login to Snapfish with the same info I entered into Eprintcenter. So, I asked Eprintcenter to send me my password, thinking somehow that I must change it. Eprintcenter will not send me the password. What do I do?

I would start by trying to reset your password from your snapfish account and then once your have changed your password use this new password to login to your account on ePrintCenter.

How to know which service accounts I am using inside my SharePoint server

We were asked to send a list of all the services accounts that are being used inside our SharePoint server, as the system administrators need to apply a new password policy. So to check which accounts I am currently using, I went to these locations:-
From the “IIS Manager” >> Application pool. I checked the identity column for all the domain users.
From >SharePoint CA >> Security >> Configure managed accounts.
So my question is basically if there could be any service accounts inside my SharePoint server, that are not in the above two locations ?

Yes. SharePoint will add all service accounts it uses to the Managed Account list.
This will include accounts like the SharePoint Crawl Account which will not be used to run an Application Pool itself but will need to be part of your password change policy.
this means that in our case we have two accounts inside the "CA>>Security>>Managed Accounts" , and these are the ones used all over the sharepoint server ? is this correct ?

Can I choose what internal network address space to use?

Is it possible to use another network address other than what is provided by apple? Example 10.1.1.0/24?
I have a network already in place with many hosts already in using a this address space I don't want to change!!!

The AirPort's DHCP services will provide the following private IP address ranges:
o 10.0.1-255.2-255
o 172.16.1-255.2-255
o 192.168.1-255.2-255
10.1.x.x would not work because the AirPort's DHCP does not allow changing the first or second octet. These are "fixed" at 10.0.x.x, 172.16.x.x or 192.168.x.x.

Changed Service Name not being used

Hi all,
Here is the scenario, I am using ABAP proxy to send data to XI system, earlier the business system was called BUS_SYS in the SLD, later we changed it to JI0220 in accordance with the naming conventions.
Subsequently the Business system and corresponding entries in the integration directory have also been updated.
The problem that I am facing is, when I try to send the message to the XI system using the same proxies I had earlier the service name being used is BUS_SYS, it doesnt get updated to JI0220. I have tried clearing of the SLD cache o the XI system, but this had no impact on the message being sent.
Is there a step that I am missing in configuration and or implementation?

i have checked teh cache on teh integration server and it is updated, the cache on the integration engine i.e. the place we are sending messages from is not gettign updated, i though did find a table named LCRT_CLNTCACHE, where i updated the business system name and subsiquently the messages started working.
if there is some other method of updating the cache of the integration engine without chaging the table entry physically do let me know.
