HI,
This is a standard report and i assume that when ur executing the report u may have selected the radio button as other period or so.
Please select the radio button as current year or upto today or Data Selection period as 01.01.2009 to 31.12.2009 etc and then execute the report should work fine for u.

Bug (?) with Service Anniversaries Report

Hi All-
I have noticed that when I run S_PH9_46000216-Service Anniversaries report for employees with a status of Inactive and Active, it pulls in all employees EVER who have an anniversary date falling within the date range I've entered.
If I've clearly selected only "1" and "3" in the "Employee Status" field, why would employees who have withdrawn from the company come into the results?
Here is my selection criteria entered into the report:
Other period>>Data Selection Period>> 12/01/07-12/31/07
Employment Status>> 1,3
Anniversary in Years>> 1-90

It is not a bug.. to limit selection by emp status, you have to put the dates in the Person Selection Period.. It is safer to put the same dates in both Data Selection & Person Selection Periods..

Service Anniversaries Report

Hi Friends,
SAP Standard Report for Service Anniversaries OUTPUT fields contains:
Pers no; Last name; First name; Entry (date); Year
SAP Standard Report for Service Anniversaries is running fine in Quality system and when it is running in the Production system "Entry" column displayed with only 00.00.0000 for all employees
Please advice what changes it required to show original data in Production system.

The standard MSS work overview page has a standard I-View for Reminder of dates which includes the service anniversary dates.
Technical Name iView -- com.sap.pct.erp.mss.reminderofdates
Technical Name Web Dynpro application -- sap.com/mss~rod/ReminderOfDatesApp
Details Component -- MSS_ROD_TRGT_GENERALDATA
Object Selection I.D -- MSS_ROD_SEL1
The data source for this view is RFC function module called: HRMSS_RFC_RD_DATES_GETLIST which uses in which is used FM 'HRWPC_RD_DATES_GETLIST_INTERNA' and within that 'HR_ENTRY_DATE'.
My requirement is to have this iview to display the service anniversaries with respect to a specific Custom Date type.
But in standard i find that the date is picked from the standard date type 01 and if date type"01" is not maintained then the BEGDA from the first records in table PA0000 for that employee
In R/3 i have made the necessary configuration to change the selection rule BIFU (Used in class BIFU in Valuation model SENI - Entry in T77SO for ADMIN-LOSRV-SENI is available) to have set the priority of date type as 1 and have mentioned the Date type.
And the service anniversary report when executed from R/3 gives the desired results.
But in the portal i find that the iview is not reflecting the changes.
Please help me with a solution as soon as possible.

If you read the documentation for the MSS Business Package on help.sap.com for that particular iView, it tells you what settings are exposed to you and what is possible (like for example, showing it is an employee's birthday but not showing the year so as not to show age). It also tells you what kind of dates will display and where they are coming from. Past that, you would be looking at customization via code.

MSS 60.1.20: Reporting: limited to 38 employees

Has anyone ever ran into a problem within the MSS Reporting area of portals where if you select more than 38 employees in the selection criteria that the report just hangs. All of the HIS reports seem to be doing this for me: Service Anniversaries, Entries/Leavings, Birthdays, Phone List, etc. If I select 38 or less, the reports work fine. Any suggestions?

Can you check the log file and let us know what's the error you get there ? Would also request you to have a look at a backend and check of any dump.

Configuring MSS reporting

Scenario 1:
Step1
iView is using standard mss.rpt webdynpro component.
It is currently pointing to RPT0 scenario and "MSS_RPT_SELECT" as viewgroup.
Select 'Birthdays' report which in turn using SAP standard report
"AQZZ/SAPQUERY/H2BIRTHDAYLIST=="
Step 2
Select the organization unit which has blank positions in it.
Step 3
Click on Report Result, it is showing the following information popup as part of step 3 .
(here there are no issues)
Scenario 2 (here there is an issue, actually it differs from Scenario 1)
We have taken the AQZZ/SAPQUERY/H2BIRTHDAYLIST== report and renamed as ZPPAR_BIRTHDAY_LIST and the report is assigned to same application scenario:RPT0.
*Steps 1 and 2 *
Same as in scenario 1
Step 3
In this scenario, it throws "Selection screen" instead of "information popup" that was thrown in scenario#1.

So i believe you would like to keep this, correct me if I am wrong.

There are two options available:
Under My Staff Tab, you just want to use the report selection. Am I right ? If that's the case, I would suggest you to create your own iview for the report selection application. You may skip the first screen which gives the other options like headcount, illness & overtime and skills, rather take the user directly to your iview of report selection. Would that be ok for you ?
The second option is to download the par file com.sap.pct.hcm.rpt_reportselection, change ReportSelection.jsp in the component default. This was for My Staff. Similarly for My Budget, you can check in the Portal Content, get the name of the par file and then download and modify it accordingly.

MSS reporting

Hello all,
We are trying to implement MSS reports. As of now, we are trying to have demo to see what are the capabilites of the system.
ERP 2004
we have the MSS package 60.1.2 and XSS components version 100imported.
After a sucessful login ,
my staff > reporting > report selection
Here we are not able to see any reports in the list.
can anyone guide me to right place where I can figure out how to populate these reports here.

All these are R/3 reports..
you have to configure settings in Manager Desktop node in SPRO.. that's where we define the reports to be fetched and then you have to link them to you MSS..
by default there are some set of standard reports shown... if you want to add your own reports you have to play around configuration..

Entry Date 00.00.0000 in MSS reports

Hi Expert,
When i try to execute standard mss reports, for ex Entries/Leaving Date, or service anniversaries the entry field is 00.00.0000. But if i execute the report via gui (Manager desktop) then the entry field would filled by correct value. Can somebody help me ? Thanks in advance.

you need to maintain the feature and on how the reports are run
You need to implement the note 562031 instructions in the system as this is not part of standard delivery, Please apply it
and verify in your test system it will work
ie
Currently, the system operates as follows: The modules for the
determination of the respective date (HR_ENTRY_DATE and HR_LEAVING_DATE)
are called up with the key date and not with the start and end date of
the personnel action within which the key date exists. If HR_ENTRY_DATE
doesn't find an entry date on given key date it returns 00.00.0000. This
is an expected system behaviour.
Sometimes this system response is partially not desired, instead, you
want the system to determine the entry date and the date of leaving with
the start and end date of the personnel action within which the key date
exists during a key date selection. Therefore, the attached note 562031
was released. If you would like to change the system operation implement
the note 562031 accordingly.
Additionaly, take into consideration, that you could use a key date
selection at Person Selection Period (instead of Data Selection Period).
This could likely be helpful in your case. Consider different selectioncriteria

Launchpad Reports problem

Hi All
In MSS Launchpad Reports, the Entry Date value is showing as 00.00.0000.
For example I have selected Service Anniversaries in Launchpad and selected All employees and then clicked on Report Result. In the output I am getting Entry value as 00.00.0000 and also Year as 00.
In fact the Entry date in all other Reports of Launchpad is also same as above.
Any help is highly appreciated

Error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from Oracle BPEL..

We are facing some error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from our BPEL Process on the windows platform(SOA 10.1.3.3.0).

but sttill,after deploying it and passing values in it,we are getting the following error on the console :-
“Header [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing:Action] for ultimate recipient is required but not present in the message”

We've tried to call that web service from an HTML designed in Visual Studios with the same username and password and its working fine.
But on the BPEL console, we are getting the error as mentioned.
Also if you can tell me how to set the user name and password in the header of the parter link.I could not find how to do it.

Necessary Fields For Creation of Service PO of Order Type Relaese Order.

Dear Guru,
I have encountered an issue which i am trying to resolve...
My this requirment will seem little okward the way i am asking but i have no way...
The issue is I have to create a Service PO of Order type Release order (RO) using BAPI Function Module .BAPI_PO_CREATE1.
The service PO should be of multiple Item and services for particular line item should be multiple.
When I am creating this using ME21 or ME21N i am facing no issue.
But when i am using BAPI Function Module .BAPI_PO_CREATE1
i am getting following errors ;; The error which i am getting as below

E BAPI                001 No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:
E MEPO              000 Purchase order still contains faulty items
E SE                   029 Please maintain services or limits
E SE                   140 Service HIRING OF LCD: please specify unit of measure
But I am failing to findout in which field services or limits and unit of measurement have to maintain.
What are the necessary fields have to pass in Bapi import parameter and the table i am unable to findout.
Please show some way how to resolve this or give me some guideline to resolve this

Logical Systems in Business Services

Hi
In Business Service creation, for Adapter Specific Identifiers, the parameter for the Logical System. It is only possible to assign one logical system to one Business Service ?.
i.e. to do
MyBusServ1, Z_LS_1
MyBusServ2, Z_LS_1
is not possible ?
When trying to assign Z_LS_1 to MyBusServ2 I get the error that Z_LS_1 is already assigned. Is there a way to circumvent ?, I do not want to create two logical systems in R/3 as the IDOCS types submitted by the Business Services are the same.

Sarvesh - The Business service is the sender of the information \ IDOC. If I remove the Adapter specific config then how will XI know what Logical system to apply to the IDOC ?.
Jaishankar - I am creating two IDOC's in SAP. MATMAS and PORDCR. The input file are coming from two different source systems. lets say sys1 and sys2. Both of thse for clarity are created in my scenario as Business Services. sys 1 creates MATMAS and PORDCR IDOC's int he syatem, sys2 creates PORDCR IDOC's in the system. As sys1 and sys2 are related in that they created the IDOC's as part od the same project then I would like to collect in the same partner profile in SAP e.g. Partner Profile ZPP_IDOC with IDOC types MATMAS PORDCR that serve as input for both systems. Logically I would assume that I can assing the logical system ZPP_IDOC to both the adapter specific parameter in both sys1 and sys2.
