when I create Service (item cat D) auto PO by ME59N,iam facing issue " Please maintain service or limt" i maintained sevice line item.
1) i checked auto po in vendor master
2)i maintained info record.

With all setting ,for Service auto- PO, you need to activate Automatic Purchase order creation for Service requisitions in t.code: ML91 For more please Check Note : 635511
NOTE: Create info record based on Material Group/Service Group as for Automatic PO , info record is mandatory

Disabling service auto-discovery

a client has a 10.5.x server that was "converted" to an advanced config from standard.
it seems whatever determines service auto-discovery for clients is still active, and i need to disable this feature. so, for instance, when a user logs into client machine, ichat, ical, and mail automatically configure themselves with accounts, even though the details may not be correct.
how do i disable this?

Changing cloud services auto scale weekends

hi
i want to change the default weekends in the azure auto scale ( our weekend is from Friday to Saturday ).
can it be done using the portal or in any other way ?

Base on my experience, if your weekend has two days, you could set weekend by selected the prior time zone .
About customize the weekend time, it may be difficult on azure portal.
Another way, I suggest you could try to auto scale could service by customize time using the Windows Azure Monitoring Services Management Library . I recommend you could refer to this code sample about how to use this library (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/cie/archive/2014/02/20/how-to-use-windows-azure-monitoring-services-management-library-to-create-an-autoscale-rule.aspx

Data Service Auto-Detect Return Type Error

Hello,
I am not sure if I am posting in the correct area, as this is my first post in a long time. I have an error when trying to Auto-Detect Return Type for my Web Service Data Service. The error is 'Data type "Table_type" cannot be merged with the existing one in package "valueObjects" because the property "ContentID" does not match in case.' I have configured other return types the exact same way and have tried looking in the documentation for this error as well as searching on the internet. Any help would be welcomed, Thank You.

Nevermind, I figured it out. If anyone else has this similar error, it means you have another variable with the exact same name only capitilized in the same return type.

Cloud service auto scale delay

Hi team,
We have a cloud service that have 10 worker roles, to let the cloud service can auto scale up/down, we configure the autoscale settings that if the average CPU reaches 70% and keeps last 30 minutes, new worker role instance will be created.
We also configure a email notification monitor that if the worker role average CPU reach 75% and keeps last 30 minute it will send a notification to our administrator, we receivce the notification at 2015/1/26 0:55 and 1 hour later the instances ware scaled
up, is that means the autoscale have been delayed about 1 hour , is there some best practise that avoid this kind of problem and let the instances can be scaled up immeditatly

All instances are included when calculating the average percentage of CPU usage and the average is based on use over the previous hour. Depending on the number of instances that your application is using, it can take longer than the specified wait time
for the scale action to occur if the wait time is set very low. The minimum time between scaling actions is five minutes. Scaling actions cannot occur if any of the instances are in a transitioning state.

EJB3 Web service - auto generate artifacts when deployed?

Hello. I apologize in advance if this question was asked already, but I was unable to find an answer.
Is there a way to tell WebLogic 10 to auto generate all of the required artifacts for a webservice (when deployed) instead of having to manually run the jwsc ant task on each web service class file?

It is now working
Regenerating everything form scratch made the stuff working
From my experience:
- the function you call in the web service should be available in remote and local interface
- ArrayList or [] both works. The classes returned inside the List should implement Serializable
- you do not have anything to change in the VI or any SAP file

The table name of Mobile service auto created

Dear all
As we know the mobile service will automatically create the table in db if the client want to submit some data to cloud.
But the table name which it created depends on the mobile service name, i.e., if the value setting in "MS_MobileServiceName" in web.config file is "app1", and the table we need to create is "table1", then the table name
which it created should be:
[app1].[table1]
How to make it create a table which name is [dbo].[table1], I think that should be good, because my other app work role and website needs to access this table.

A problem of service auto sutdown

I Install oracle10g in Redhat Enterprise 3 AS, my database sid is test,first I run dbstart, then I connect database with "sys/123456@test as sysdba",this connection is successful, the i put the command "shutdown immediate" and close the database successful, but when I put the "sys/123456@test as sysdba" command, the screen is print "insufficient priviledge".

So you connect to the database with sys/123456@test as sysdba and shut down the database. You then try again to connect with sys/123456@test as sysdba and receive the error "insufficient privilege"
Have you tried just using connect / as sysdba?
The listener cannot connect to the database when it is shutdown and you are using the listener when you attempt to connect with the @test.
Do not know why you are getting insufficient privilege, I would have expected you would have received an ORA-12514 TNS:Listener does not currently know of the service requested in connect descriptor, unless you do not have a password file.

I want PMON to register with a local listener that does not use TCP/IP, port 1521.

Solman Service Auto-log on

Hi experts,
I am facing a situation where i can't find the way to solve it. Let me explain it.
In Solman 7.0 some tcodes, contains tabs that prompts for a user/password in order to show the content of the tab. Seems to be that the Web Application Server or ICF requires authentication so the service that actually process and show the info do their task, so my question is, is there anyway to pre-configure those services pre-defaulting a user so that prompt automatically use the user info i gave and instantly logs in w/o asking the user?
Any advice is welcome.

? Starting Services Auto when starting DB

I am running a 10gr2 db on Linux. I have configured a couple of services for my users to connect to the db. Is there a way to configure the services so that they automatically start when the DB is started with either SRVCTL or SQLPLUS??
I need to start the service manually using the following command...
SRVCTL START SERVICE -S ...
Any help would be appreciated...

I think you can easily integrate this command "SRVCTL START SERVICE -S" in database startup script. Like you can put this command at the very end of the "start" section and it will execute at end when the DB would be up.

Reporting Services Auto Export to PDF on a shared location with dynamic filename

Hi Guys,
I have this ERP system that is calling a url with the Document No parameter, the link automatically converts to a PDF but comes up with the OPEN/SAVE/CANCEL box however i want to automatically save to a default location...is this possible?
Secondly i need the filename to be saved as the Paramter Name and the date.pdf in the format DocumentNo- Datetime.pdf is this also possible?

According to your description, you want to export a report to PDF using URL access. And trying to export the report with specify name automatically without prompting the OPEN/SAVE/CANCEL box. The file name should come from the parameters of the report.
For security reasons, it is not allowed to write files on a client computer (Shared folder), except for a few pieces of information in cookies.
While using URL access to export a report, the exporting process will save the file with the report’s name automatically.
In order to export the report to a specify folder with a specify name, we can send a request to the Report Server in custom application, and then receive the data from the Report Server. In the custom application, save the data to the specify folder with the specify name in server side.
Please follow these steps to archive the target:
1.       Create a C# Web application.
2.       In the page_load event of a page, embed the following code:

Auto start bi services on reboot

Any suggestions on the best way to auto start the BI services like OC4J, SAW, SA, Scheduler using scripting when the server is reboot? Maybe include a delay between each and check each service is up.
