Service Call Close

Question

Hi Experts,
     Can we close Service call in SAP 8.81 PL 7. I have closed the Service call through DI API(SDK). But its not reflecting the SAP , even though I have given resolution . Kindly help me on this.
My code

            If RetCode <> 0 Then

Hi Tomy,
Judging from this code, you are not closing the service call.
The only thing you are doing is updating the Resolution and Status.
Try this:
RetCode = Service.Update()
If RetCode = 0 Then
     'The update succeeded, now we can close the Service call
     RetCode = Service.Close()
     If RetCode <<> 0 Then
          Application.SetStatusBarMessage(objSBOAPI.oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
     End If
Else
     Application.SetStatusBarMessage(objSBOAPI.oCompany.GetLastErrorDescription)
End If
