Service call creation date

Hi Experts
                     In service call created date is disabled, my client requires to create a date in past days, is any way to change editable mode. We are using SAPB1 2005B.
Regards
D.Selva

Hi Selvaraj
Unfortunately not. This field will always use the current date/time stamp to indicate the creation date. You could backdate the system date, but I do not encourage this as it could have adverse effects on other transactions in the database.
Instead, I would suggest adding a user defined field on the Service Call Title level for this.
Kind regards

  • Need Information regarding Service Call creation in SAP R/3

    Hello,
      I need the Transaction code or BAPI to create a service call in sap. Please provide the database table name for the service calls.
    We want to develop  service call management in our server.So please send me the Business data model for service call management in SAP.(All related objects to the service call and their data models.)
    Regards,

    Hi
    Invoice list is basically SD configuration.
    <b>Invoice List</b>
    <b>Purpose</b>
    The invoice list lets you create, at specified time intervals or on specific dates, a list of billing documents (invoices, credit and debit memos) to send to a particular payer.
    The billing documents in the invoice list can be single or collective documents (collective invoices combine items from more than one delivery).
    The standard version of the SAP R/3 System includes two types of invoice lists:
    1.for invoices and debit memos
    2.for credit memos
    If you wish, you can process invoices, debit memos, and credit memos at the same time. The system automatically creates a separate invoice list for credit memos.
    A payer may be the head office of a buying group, which pays all the invoices for goods that are shipped to individual members. The group payer takes responsibility for paying the invoice lists and then collecting payment from the individual members. In return for these services, the group payer usually earns a factoring or del credere discount.
    Depending on the tax structure of the payer's country, the payer may be liable to pay taxes on factoring discounts that he earns. In Germany, for example, factoring discounts are taxed at the standard rate of 15%. During invoice list processing, you can reimburse the payer in advance for this tax liability by creating special condition records

  • ColdFusion Remote Service Calls and Dates

    Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me out with my confusion.  I’m sending an object including datetime data from ColdFusion to a Flash application.  The datetime in the ColdFusion object include milliseconds, however, if I use the getTime() function on the Date object in the Flex application, the milliseconds have been zeroed out.  Is there any way to retain the milliseconds when the data is passed through the flexgateway?
    Thanks,
    Christine

    Hi Balaji,
    I have attached a demo of my proxy webservice called pxTest.cfc.  pxTest.cfc contains two functions, testDate and pushBackTestDate.  I also attached a simple Flex App called testDate.mxml.  And a Test file called test.cfm.
    Save pxTest.cfc to your CFC folder.  Create a new project called TestDate.  Go to the data/services tab, click "Connect to Data/Service" and select Data Service ColdFusion.  Browse to PxTest.cfc and select it for the CFC location.  Click Next, then click Finish.  Configure ReturnType as Date for both pushBackTestDate and testDate.  Paste the code from TestDate.mxml into the blank TestDate.mxml file that was created when you created the project TestDate.  Run the TestDate.mxml application.
    On load of the application a date was requested and received from pxTest.cfc.  Click Confirm Test Date and note the date returned, and the milliseconds value for that date.  Next click Push User Data back, this will call the method pushBackTestDate sending the date from the Flex app back into CF.  All pushBackTestDate does is set the value returned into session and return it back to the Flex app again.
    Click the button Show Pushed Data Result to see the date that was returned.  In my tests this date no longer has a value for milliseconds.  As long as pxTest.cfc and test.cfm run in the same session you will be able to see the dates sent and returned by running test.cfm.  The dump of that session variable and time formatted versions of that variables are displayed below:
    RETURNED
    {ts '2009-09-17 12:57:50'}
    SEND
    {ts '2009-09-17 12:57:50'}
    TimeFormat Send 12:57:50 13
    TimeFormat Returned 12:57:50 0
    Note the date sent contains milliseconds, the date returned does not have milliseconds.  Hopefully this demo will work for you and demonstrate the issue.  Please let me know if you need more information.
    Thanks,
    Christine

  • Calling a web service from BusinessObjects Data Services

    Hi all,
    We are trying to generate a several levels deep structure to prepare the request for a web service call from Data Services. We tried using the Query transformation to map constant values to fields, but as there are nested complex structures, those don't get populated and at runtime we just get an empty request body. We also tried changing the 'optional' and 'occurrence' settings for the structures at every level, but did not help either. Is there any way to create a deep structure manually without getting the input from an XML file or having to create a persistant table, and if we should be using other functions rather than Query step to do so?
    Thanks,
    S. Gokhan Topcu

    Hi
    It is possible to map a heavily nested structure.  The minimum required to this is a row generation and a query transform.  The most important technique is the "make current" option for each level of nesting.
    It is one area that be confusing.  I have written a couple of white papers that walk through the techniques, they are on the SDN here

  • How to Refresh cache of Service Call

    Hi
    Normally I use java WD, but am helping out a friend who uses ABAP flavour.
    In the java WD, if the RFC changes, I just re-import the model so that the changes are made available to me in the Dev Studio. How do I do the equivalent in ABAP WD? ie How do I refresh/re-import the Service Call?
    thanks

    Hi Anton,
    In WD ABAP, if we want to reimport the service call, we need to follow the same steps which we follow to create a service call.
    One thing to notice is that wizard does not allow to give the same method name which we gave/system proposed during the last time service call creation. Hence in the second time when we reimport the service call provide all details and new method name. A new method will be created in Controller (if we use existing controller). During adapting the nodes new nodes/attributes will be created.
    Hence the best approach is to before reimporting the service call is to delete the context, attributes and the method created during the previous service call creation.
    Best regards,
    Suresh

    I am not sure what you are asking specifically, but if you are trying to get an understanding of how to use the Service functionality in SAP Business One, you should look at the eLearning for SAP Business One at the service.sap.com SAP website.

  • Web Service receives no data from Stored Procedure call.

    Issue: When calling a Stored Procedure from a Web Service no data is returned.
    Lead up: I can call the SP 100 times a day for 3-4 days then for some reason the Web Service no longer get the data from SQL. I have ran a trace and I can see the SP running though all of its steps and returning the data, but the Web Service
    is not getting it.
    Fix: None yet.
    Work around: Before the Web Service calls the SP, I am sending an SP_Recompile to the SP in question. For now this seems to have resolved the issue.
    Detail:
    1. SP is querying data from another DB on the same server.
    2. SP is storing query data in Temp Tables.

    Hello,
    Does your Stored Procedure have parameters? If so, the issue may be cause by parameter sniffing. Please refer to the following blog about Paraemeter Sniffing:
    http://www.sommarskog.se/query-plan-mysteries.html
    The recommended fix for most situations is to not use parameters directly in queries, but rather store them into local variables and then use those variables in the queries.

  • Problem while calling a web service in BOBJ Data services

    Hello Experts,
    I am trying to call a web service in bobj data services. A real time job has been scheduled and published as a web service. I want to consume this service in web dynpro java.
    I tried both the methods the adaptive web services and depricated version. I also tried calling the url directly and with the metadata and execution destinations.
    No matter what I do, I keep getting the following error.
    Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'http://XXXXX:28080/DataServices/servlet/webservices?ver=2.0&wsdl' with operation 'SERVICE_<NAME>' in interface 'Real-time_Services'
    The call never reaches data services system.  If I try to call the service from soapUI (web service testing tool) it works fine.
    I am using SAP NW 7.0 SP22 .
    Here is my code in dynpro to call the service.
         AdaptiveModel mod = new AdaptiveModel();
         Request_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP request = new Request_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP(mod);
         Query1 query1 = new Query1(mod);
         Response_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP response = new Response_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP(mod);
         request.setQuery(query1);
         request.setResponse(response);
         List list = new ArrayList();
         DefinitionsTypes_XsdSchema_1__XsdElement_1__XsdComplexType_Sequence1 element = new DefinitionsTypes_XsdSchema_1__XsdElement_1__XsdComplexType_Sequence1(mod);
         element.setCustomer_Name(wdContext.currentContextElement().getCustomerName());
         element.setZip_Code(wdContext.currentContextElement().getZipcode());
         element.setAddr1("");
         element.setAddr2("");
         element.setCity("");
         element.setCountry("");
         element.setState("");
         list.add(element);
         query1.set$002fDefinitions$002fTypes$002fXsdSchema$005b1$005d$002fXsdElement$005b1$005d$002fXsdComplexType$0023Sequence1(list);
         wdContext.nodeRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUP().bind(request);
          wdContext.currentRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUPElement().modelObject().execute();
          wdContext.nodeResponse().invalidate();
          wdContext.nodeQueryResponse().invalidate();
          wdContext.nodeSequenceResponse().invalidate();
    Please let me know if you have any pointers on how to solve this.
    Thanks in advance
    Praveen.

    have you create the destination?
    do  you use the wizard to generate code?
    usually there is catch clause for this line of code
    wdContext.currentRequest_SERVICE_MDM_LOOKUPElement().modelObject().execute();

  • FLEX- how to serialize date type to null in web service call

    Does anyone know how to get actionscript to render a null date value '000:00:00T00:00:00' into a SOAP xml structure? I am calling a commercial web service that exposes data structures. I use one of these data structures as a parameter to a method call in the web service. The data structure has about 12 date fields and I need most of them to be null in the resulting database. The WSDL/SOAP force me to populate these fields with a date type. I can't figure out how to populate a date variable with a NULL value. The closest value I can get is '1899-11-30T00:00:00Z'. Below is the code I am using:
    var dateStr:String = "0000-00-00T00:00:00+";
    var emptyDate:Date = DateUtil.parseW3CDTF(dateStr);
    newReqData.DateTimeInit = emptyDate;
    When calling this same web service with a .Net client, it automatically puts in the null date value of '000:00:00T00:00:00' into the xml for me, if I don't populate the date field in the data structure.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Making the URL of an HTTP data service call the same domain it is served from

    Hi All,
    I've got an HTTP service I defined in Flash Builder, via the "Data Services" tab.  I've got an absolute URL in there right now.  Here's what it looks like:
    What I really want is to not define a path that includes a domain name at all--I want the service to simply call an absolute path that's on the same domain as whatever domain the SWF was served from... can I do that?  When I got rid of the base URL and then gave an absolute URL path (e.g., /roster/deleteMember), Flex Builder complained that "File does not exist."  Well, of course it doesn't exist, it isn't a file, it's a URL to a service call--there is no corresponding file on the filesystem.
    Can anyone advise me how to do that?  Changing the domain name has at least once caused me a great deal of trouble, and the only workaround I was able to figure out was to create a whole new project and copy/paste all the code from my previous project into that new project, and recreate the data service definitions.  Big headache!

    mmh,
    from the adobe documentation:
    The configuration files sometimes contain special {server.name} and {server.port} tokens. These tokens are replaced with server name and port values based on the URL from which the SWF file is served when it is accessed through a web browser from a web server. Similarly, a special {context.root} token is replaced with the actual context root of a web application.
    Whenever is a RemoteService, HttpService or WebService... if you specify the endpoint as http://{server.name}:{server.port}/{context.root}
    automatically on runtime, the variables are set by the flashplayer depending on where you've been downloaded the application. So, if the webservices are deployed on the same server where the flex application is downloaded, this is the solution.
    But in your case,  maybe you cannot do that through the plugin you are using for declaring your services, but have to programmatically solve it.
    Bye,
    Lionel

  • Service call to function module not fetching data

    Hello Experts,
    Today, I have started facing one more weird issue of the similar kind, I faced few weeks back.
    Once my web dynpro application is loaded, on the click of button I make a service call to function module which brings me some data and that is being shown on the UI.
    After doing few more service calls on the click of other buttons, when I click on the button initially clicked, service call is being made but no data is being returned.
    I already debugged the code, made sure the parameters is being passed correctly to function module.
    Regards,
    Harsh

    Hello Katrice,
    I debugged to the hilt and found that standard function module 'ME_REL_ACTIVE' was returning sy-subrc non zero.
    I cleared one variable after identifying it. Below is the code snippet:
        ld_read_t16fg = '(SAPLEBNF)READ_T16FG'.
        ASSIGN (ld_read_t16fg) TO <lst_read_t16fg>.
        IF <lst_read_t16fg> IS ASSIGNED AND <lst_read_t16fg> IS NOT INITIAL.
          CLEAR <lst_read_t16fg>.
        ENDIF.
        UNASSIGN <lst_read_t16fg>.

    Hello,
    Can you call the same WS from ODI (through a data server test)?
    I think you should post the WSDL file generated by the data service to the BPEL Forum.
    There must be something BPEL does not like in the WSDL.

  • Service Call - Date Received

    Hi,
    In what database table can I find the Service Call History updates? I want to access the dates that the Status was changed so that we can see when items were received through queries that are emailed to our repair technicians.
    Thanks

    Rahul,
    Thank you, the OSCL table has a lot of dates for the Service Call - including an updateDate field - but what I am looking for is the whole history of updates that can be found by clicking the History tab of the Service Call.  The status of a Service Call can be changed multiple times, and this information would seem to be stored in a different table.  However, the table name does not appear when you hover over the field with the View System Information.
    Thanks,
    Theresa
