Can u pl explain.

  • New Service Call Number not being created. SBO 2007A

    Every time we try to create a new Service Call, the window opens with the number of the last service call created. It's like onnm doesn't know somebody created that number already. Can anybody tell me the objectcode for a Service Call so I can take a look? While you're at it, where is a reference to all the object codes in onnm?
    TIA
    Cindy Lange

    The Service Call number is not really in the document numbering.
    It actually comes from the OSCL table and the field is Callid

  • Service call auto-number

    Greetings,
    Any idea why the Service Call module takes up a service call number even if the user cancles the document half way?
    This process is unlike the Sales AR or AP modules where the document numbering is only commited when the user saves the form.
    Currently a client is unhappy that their Service Call numbering isnt in order because of this

    Hi Davinder
    I am a B1 user (4month only) and I came accross a number of problems with b1 but I do not think that anybody from SAP is really interested in "problems". I never received a reply from anybody in SAP to any of my communications!
    I do however think that SAP is a good system but it requires a lot of improvements to make it more user friendly and easier to setup.
    However, the problem you describe is a minor one and I am not sure why anyone would make an issue?
    Good luck
    Robert

  • Service Call and Invoice For That Service Call

    What field relates an invoice created within the service call form under expenses, to the originating service call number. I know it is somewhere but I cannot find it.  The invoice needs to know the originating service calll number.
    Thanks, David

    Yes the field is there SCL4 but the problem is timing. It is posted too late to be meaningful.
    While in an invoice,  I need to capture the service call ID so that I can assign the service call id to a field in the invoice, and also
    import the remarks from the service call to the remarks on the invoice.
    The way B1 words is that SCL4 gets populated way too late in the game. The SCL4 table gets populated only after Updating  the service call itself. This is after the user has created and exited the invoice.
    Any other suggestions for dynamically capturnig the invoice id during invoice creation under a service call?
    Thanks, David

  • Service Call ID number

    Hi,
    One of my customers asked me why the service call ID number is used even when you cancel a new service call that you were supposed to add.
    The service call ID should work as the other documents, when you cancel it in "add mode" it shouldn't use the ID until you actually add the service call.
    So, can anyone explain to me why the system use the service call ID even though you cancel it? Why is it setup like this and can one change this in some way or not?
    Hope that someone will take the time to help me out
    Best regards,
    Lena-Marie D. Tørresvold

    Hello Challa,
    The service call is different with the other document. If you did not select or choose customer, the call ID number will not change.  If you see the button near cancel button, after you choose customer, the button is not OK status but directly update which it means system has created new service. This type of numbering is really important in the CRM service functionality.
    That's one of the reason, you can't see the service call ID after you cancel the service call.
    try to run this query :
    select callID from OSCL and see if your call ID exists or not.

  • Service Call Activity's attachments missing/not adding

    Hi Experts,
    First off, some technical data. We have SAP Business One 9.0(9.02.220) PL 12 running on MS Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard ontop of MS SQL Server 2012
    Now as the title suggests, when adding attachments to activities in a service call through the DI-API, they do in-fact not get added to SAP(once you check the actual activity).
    Strange thing is that this was working a couple of months ago and I cannot seem to get this working. Now to twist things up, in a development environment, with an older database, exactly the same SAP version and on MS SQL Server 2008 R2 - It works fine as it did before.
    I remember reading SAP Note 1290959( 1290959 - Missing attachments after upgrading to 2007 versions), which pretty much describes our situation.
    I cannot find the SAP note relevant to my situation. Does anyone know whether this is a known issue or am I just blind and overlooking the SAP note.
    Thanks!

    Hi Rikus,
    While connecting on each environment, do you change the database server type?
    Are you using DIS alone, or with B1WS and in such a case, are you using the version 1.2 which is specific to V9?

  • Add prefix 9 for incoming calling number of missed call only.

    Dear,
    I am wondering how to add the prefix 9 to incoming calling number of missed calls only, not the calling alerting number on the phone screen. For example, the local user 472 2001 calls our DID 482 3001 along with the calling number 472 2001 on the dialed phone screen, if I missed this call, in the directory missed call I can see 94722001.
    I know I can add the prefix in the field incoming called party subscriber prefix on the gateway page, but when I do this, all of the calling number information show 9.
    Thanks,
    Kirin

    If I understand you correctly, you would like to only change the missed calls/placed calls on your phones without changing the digits?
    If you have an PRI, you can use this translation rule to change calling ID only on inbound calls:
    Translation pattern to modify Caller ID to add a 9
    voice translation-rule 1
    Rule #  /match/ /set/
    (^.= Match anything begining with any number)(*= one or more digits) tranlasate to (9& = Take whatever is in the match phase and plug it in here)
    rule 1 /^.*/ /9&/ type subscriber subscriber (subscriber = ton(Ton=Type of number) value local area)
    rule 2 /^.*/ /91&/ type national national (national = ton value long distance area)
    rule 3 /^.*/ /9011&/ type international international (international = ton value international area)
    Config t
    voice translation-rule 1
    rule 1 /^.*/ /9&/ type subscriber subscriber
    rule 2 /^.*/ /91&/ type national national
    rule 3 /^.*/ /9011&/ type international international
    voice translation-profile INBOUND_PSTN
    translate calling 1
    voice-port X/X/X
    translation-profile incoming INBOUND_PSTN
    Let me know if this helps.

    Usually, If the customer has a problem call to company.
    1.-  SBO user get the u201Ccall serveru201D
    2.- SBO user support join the u201Ccall serveru201D and  u201Ccustomer equipment cardu201D
    3.- SBO user go to call server  create a Delivery (works and equipment)
    Unfortunately the technical support, works in customer company and usually canu2019t entry to SBO in several days.
    We like use the u201Cweb toolsu201D, the technical support uses the web and can see the u201Ccall serveru201D, the Customer and marketing documents.

    I did the soap to rfc sync interface and Create the java deployble client proxy application in nwds. In Nwds i maintaine the PI parameters message server host,port and exectue the application. it is working fine. but i was deploying the another j2ee engine server messager server host name and port parameters I am getting the error. that is Service call exception java.lang. mising soap end tag.
    Could you help me.
    Thanks & Regards,

    hi,
    restarting the java stack would be enough. You can do that at SMICM. Before you should deregister all queues in SMQR so that incoming messages has to wait in the queue. Of coz all synchronous msgs would fail, as well messages going to your Java Inbound Adapters.
    note:reward points if solution found helpfull.....

  • Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16

    Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
    I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
    Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
    Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
    Validation error = 16
    From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
    Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",”cacerts”);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", trustKeyPasswd);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType","JKS");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType","JKS");
    System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", keyStoreName);
         System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword",clientCertPwd);      System.setProperty("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump","true");
    Here is how I create cacerts using verisign hierarchy certs (in this order)
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignClass3G5PCA3Root.txt -alias "Verisign Class3 G5P CA3 Root"
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediatePrimary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Primary"
    1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediateSecondary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Secondary"
    Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
    -Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
    That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
    In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
    I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
    1.     Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
    2.     Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
    3.     Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
    4.     Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

    I received a workaround by an internal message.
    The how to guide is :
    -Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
    -Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
    -Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
    -Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
    -Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
    Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server.

  • Adding multiple items against one service call

    deal all,
    i need to know , how can we add more then one item to one service call. is there any solution or add-on for this purpose.

    You can add only one item (to be specific only one Serial Number ) in one Service Contract.
    I don't think there is any add-on available for that.

    Hi experts,
      I just installed and configured ADS in NW04-Java SP20 and tested the URL http://host:portal/AdobeDocumentServices/Config. it shows the version information in the response.
    When I try to run the Java-Webdynpro interactive form I am getting below messages. I also tried SDN sample project, I got the same message.
    I installed ACF for NW04, it shows in the control panel, but not in the IE add-ons list.

    Could you please tell me is any thing missing???
    Thanks in advance,
    Ramana.

    Hi Ramana,
    If you are on NW '04 SP11 or lower, try upgrading to a later version. SP 12 (and higher) contains a newer version of Adobe document services that renders much faster.
    By default the Web service client socket timeout is set to 60. Try changing this parameter in the Visual Administrator: Server -> Services -> Web Services Container on the Settings tab.
    In online scenarios with large context performance issues are seen. It may make more sense to create smaller PDFs with a stricter data selection.
    Also refer to this note:
    [Note 811342 - Time Out exception when rendering to Adobe document service|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap/support/notes/811342]
    Hope this helps!!
    Cheers,
    Arafat

    my requirement is to get a WS SOAP request from a BPEL application on to my Proxy services. this proxy service will identify the URI to invoke and make a call on to BES via this business service with the exactly same request which i received in Proxy.
    I m getting the request xml as

    Option 2 In service call-out i have chosen request with document.
    XML which is sent to BS is looking as below.
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/ ">
    <soapenv:Header/>
    <soapenv:Body>
    <soapenv:Body>

    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    For both the request i am getting error as below .
    java.lang.IllegalStateException: getReader() called after getInputStream()
    But when i test the BS using WS tools (netTool) with the same request XML (which i receive in Proxy), i am getting proper response.
    > I have no clue where is the problem actually in my OSB application. Do i miss some header or some additional thing i need to do before setting in request xml in service call-out.
    > Also Webservice which BS invokes runs on a weblogic 8.1 application server. Will that be a problem?

  • Newscale Custom Code - AJAX Libraries - Web Service calls during ordering moment

    Authentication issues calling webservice that requires credentials to be passed. NTLM authentication. Web service we are calling works from Service Link with HTTPIWA2 adapter.This is on Windows environment. When in the ordering moment, i am being presented with a popup box asking for credentials.
    We are implementing a custom Newscale solution for Web Service calls during the ordering moment. I've installed and got the basic example working on our Windows based system. However, I'm trying to implement a more complex web service call that includes supplying credentials- domain userid password encrypted in the xdsproperties file. The web service we are calling has been successfully called by the service link HTTPIWA2 adapter, and independently using SOAP Sonar, so i don't feel the problem is with the web service.
    We are on a windows based server and the web service we are calling is on windows as well. In the ordering moment the web service is being called, but I'm being presented with popups asking for credentials for the server that Request Center is on.
    Has anyone successfully used this AJAX solution calling a web service using NTLM authentication?  I'd like to compare configurations to see what is missing. You can email me directly at [email protected]  Newscale PSG is on the case, but i was hoping to touch base with any other customers currently using this.
    thanks!

    A newer version of the Configuration Manager Client is installed. Cannot continue installing this version of the management point.

    The installer certainly thinks that you still have a previous ConfigMgr client installed. Perhaps you haven't completely removed it. Use ccmclean.exe from the SMS 2003 tool kit.
    If that fails, why not just rebuild the server - you've said that this is a fresh install. I don't like too much messing at the beginning. This can be difficult enough - you need to start with a clean installation of the product.
