Service Delivery hangs SAP B1

Hello experts,
I have this strange problem that has began this morning of when a user is adding an service type sales delivery in SAP B1, it hangs the whole database. I have checked on all SBO_SP_TransactionNotification related to a sales delivery and excluded them from a service type delivery, but the issue still persists.
Please assist.
Thanks,
Isaac.

Hi,
Is it happening only during adding delivery document  or while adding any other marketing document also, so we can come to know more exactly of the problem.

    Service Delivery Management in Sap

    Hello,
    Service delivery management is also called Service Level Management, is the process of negotiating, defining, measuring, managing and imprving the quality of IT services at an acceptable cost. All of this must take place in an environment of rapidly changing business needs and rapid changes in technlogy. Service level management aims to find the right balance between qualitysupply and demand, customer friendliness and cost of IT services. It is important that both the provider and the customer realize that a service is being provided and being received. Service Level Management includes designing, agreeing and maintaining the following:
    Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
    Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
    Underpinning Contracts (UCs)
    Service Quality Plans.

  • Solution Manager prepared for the Remote Service Delivery?

    In preparation of GoingLive Session, we received a mail with some questions. Among them the following:
    Is your Solution Manager prepared for the Remote Service Delivery? Yes/No
    Is the solution transferred to SAP?: Yes/No
    What does the first question mean? what should be done to prepare the Solman for session delivery?
    How do I check if the solution is transferred to SAP?
    Thanks a lot,
        Dino

    Hello Dino,
    The SAP Solution Manager is a platform for the delivery of services for the following areas:
    ●     Risk minimization
    ●     Optimization of SAP solutions
    ●     Knowledge transfer
    Services in the SAP Solution Manager are services which help you to monitor and optimize the performance and availibility of your system landscapes and minimize your system operation risks.
    You can have the support services performed by SAP or perform them yourself:
    ●     Remote Services
    SAP experts deliver this service type via a remote connection (SAP Safeguarding Services, e.g. SAP GoingLive Check).
    For checking whether solution manager is prepared for remote service delivery u need to check the following.
    Prerequisites
    You have:
    ●     created a solution.
    ●     set-up a connection to the SAP Service Marketplace (Explorer).
    Procedure
           1.      Choose the transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER.
           2.      Choose Delivery of SAP Services ® Service Plan, in Operations.
           3.      Choose Order Service from SAP.
    You go to the Service Catalog.
           4.      Choose the link to the service.
    The system goes to the catalog entry of the service, in the SAP Service Marketplace.
           5.      Follow the procedure described in the SAP Service Marketplace.
    =============================================
    Solution transfered to SAP means that the u have done the configuration, testing and validation of the SAP system components and then transfered this to the satellite systems connected to Solman. Please note that solman is the central point of access for supporting implementation activities and the satellite systems are SAP systems comnected to solman in the landscape.
    Hope this helps. Please assign points and let me know if u need anything specific.
    Rgds

  • 1405975 - Minimum Authorization Profile for Remote Service Delivery

    In the document described in the header SAP Customers are asked to provide a logon user for SAP Remote Service Delivery.
    Due to security concerns, customers wish to grant restricted authorizations only.
    The minimal autorizations required have been described by SAP in a Z_BASIC_SERVICE_V1.zip file.
    Its there that I noticed the requirement for the SE93 transactioncode.
    With SE93 you can assign transactioncodes to your account and create new ones.
    I realy can't match this requirement with 'restricted autorizations only'.
    Am I missing something?

    Hi,
    If you think SE93 authorization should be restricted, then you can remove this from the role. As far I know, SE93 authorization is not necessary for remote service delivery. It is one of the 'good-to-have' authorization not the compulsory one.

    Usually, simply re-starting the OC4J instance hosting the Registry will resolve the problem. This requirement to re-start OC4J after installation is a known issue that will likely not be fixed.
    If the error persists after a re-start, the likely cause is:
    - The Registry EAR was not actually deployed to OC4J, even though the installation appeared to succeed. In this case, try re-installing the Registry.
    - The Registry application is not started, even though ASControl indicates that it is running. Try stopping then restarting Registry through ASControl.

  • Can Web Service Consumption in SAP CRM 7.0 handle multiple records

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement where in I need to Consume a web service in SAP CRM. The response of the web service will have multiple records.
    My questions is will Web Service Consumption in SAP CRM 7.0 be able to handle these records in a popup or not.
    I would like to know whether it is feasible or not.
    Thanks,

    Hi Kavita,
    There is a standard column in UWL with name 'Sent Date'. Other functionalities in UWL for example deadline monitoring (Due date column) are based on this sent date. This shows an employee what was the date workitem was created (sent date) and when it will get escalated (due date). Displaying forwarding date in Sent date will not give clear picture to employee as the deadline will be calculated based on sent date only not based on forwarding date. this was just an example.
    even though if your client is insisting, i dont think it can be done without any enhancement in UWL web dynpro com sort of thing. you can check with your portal consultant too.

  • Solution Manager does not get service definitions from SAP in self diagnosi

    Hi,
    In our production solution manager transaction solution_manager, self diagnosis we are getting a warning message on our development solution manager.
    Solution Manager XXX does not get service definitions from SAP.
    The production Solution Manager is the master in SDCCN for the test Solution Manager.  In the test Solution Manager, the scheduled task REFRESH SERVICE DEFINITIONS has task System ID of O01.  It is pointed to RFC destination SDCC_OSS, not the production Solution Manager system.
    It gives the same warning if I point the task to the production Solution Manager system.
    Has anyone seen this before?  Any ideas?
    Best regards,
    Russ

    Hi,
      i guess have you activated SDCCN from your solution manager system too?
    if not please activate. since that setup helps solman retrive the service definitions used in SDCCN from SAP (SAPOSS).so this ultimately allows you to set solution manager system as Master, so all the satellite system get the service definition from solman and do not need a direct SAPOSS connection.
    and Please check this Note 1143775 - SAP service content update

    2)  How to use discovered service in the Service Registry for consumer/provider scenario? With some examples.

    Hi,
    1) How to publish service from non-SAP systems?
    Publish Service is nothing but making WSDL of that service available. For that you need to Publish the WSDL of the web Service to UDDI. For Non SAP system, Lik .net , Java they have there oun APIs to do so. U can search on net to get it.
    For Ex. below link.
    http://www.startvbdotnet.com/web/publish.aspx
    2) How to use discovered service in the Service Registry for consumer/provider scenario? With some examples.
    Once you discover the services, you get the WSDL of that Service. Then You can import this WSDL in IR and you it.
    See the below links.

    Yes, SAPHTTPA (runs on application server) and/or SAPHTTP (runs on front-end pc), one of which, is required for HTTP communication.  So far, nothing too elaborate as far as SOAP goes, but the logic is simplistic.  Here's some sample code:
      DEST = 'SAPHTTPA'.
      TRANSLATE HOST TO LOWER CASE.
      MYURL = 'wssrvTest/Service.asmx/GetByOrderItem'.
      CONCATENATE HOST MYURL INTO MYURL.

  • Need IDOC type to create outbound Delivery in SAP

    Hello,
    I am looking for the IDOC basic type, message type and process code which will be able to create an outbound Delivery in SAP.
    Scenario:
    Inbound data needs to be integrated into SAP to create an outbound delivery with reference to a Sales Order.
    Thanks
    Satie

    Satie,
    To confirm, you want the Delivery create triggered as a result of a file received from your Customer ? Is it purely a trigger, or will there be other information included in the file that might be included on the SAP Delivery ? If it's purely a trigger, I think I'd probably look into blocking the Sales Order in some fashion (e.g. Header Delivery Block), and using the trigger to release the Sales Order, i.e. ORDCHG. You could probably write additional data, such as Delivery Instructions, at the same time. If however, you need the inbound file to directly create the Delivery, I suspect you will need to create a custom iDoc / Function Module to call a BAPI to create the Delivery with reference to the Sales Order.
    Cheers, Paul.

    Hi All,
      i am new to SAP SCRIPT , can any one guide us how to Create a footer in the Delivery note sap  script.
      I need to put  some message if the stock of the material is "0"(zero).

    Hi,
    U create a window in script (Footer), and in the Driver program call this window at last..
    eg:
    create a window in script and call it at the end in the layout..
    /E FOOTER
    P1 'Write Required text what u want to display;.
    now in print program, after printing all the line items in ur internal table call the FM write_form to print the footer...
    LOOP AT itab.
      call function 'WRITE_FORM'
        exporting
         window = 'MAIN'
        exceptions
          others = 1.
    endloop.
    now call, FM write_form to print the footer
    IF stock EQ 0.
    call function 'WRITE_FORM'
        exporting
         window = 'FOOTER'
          element = 'FOOTER'
        exceptions
           others = 1.

  • Service users in SAP XI?

    what are service users in SAP XI?

    Hi Ankur,
    in XI basically we deal with two type of uses. they are
    Service users are used for internal communication between XI components, which is
    usually triggered by interaction of dialog users .The service users provide dialog-free
    access to the involved XI components. They have SAP user roles in the ABAP part of the SAP
    Web Application Server (AS) that are available as user groups in the J2EE part. The Integration Repository is associated with service user XIREPUSER. For each component, service users representing the respective components are created with the appropriate roles in the target components during installation. The passwords of the service users have to be defined during the installation process.
    Ex:
    Component Service
    Exchange Profile,
    System Landscape
    Directory
    User Role
    SAP_BC_AI_LANDSCAPE_DB_RFC
    Service User
    XILDUSER
    Dialog users represent human users (as opposed to service users), who log on through the
    various UIs of the Integration Builder, System Landscape Directory, and Runtime Workbench.
    Dialog users are generally maintained in the ABAP part of the SAP Web AS. The roles for the different dialog users displayed in the following table are predefined and
    shipped.

    Hi,
    you can find Web Services (Enterprise Services) in the Enterprise Services Workplace (ES Workplace). The ES Workplace allows you to explore, test, and use enterprise services to make enterprise SOA tangible. Here, you will find all of the currently productized enterprise services by SAP.
