Service Desk: System and client missing when creating a message.

Hi Experts,
I would like to find out if anyone has encountered this problem before. The system and client fields were blanked out and I am unable to select/create the system when creating a message. Thanks!

Hello Wein,
If the system/client are grayed out in the workcenters, it is because when creating your BP you've probably created it only for a single system/client. Try to update your BP with another system (tx. BP_GEN).
Hope this will help.
Regards,
Stéphane.

    Hello  Kaushal,
you habe to link user, key user i.e. a business partner (BP), and managed system and this work like this:
    a) User <-> BP: start transaction BP, assign role Employee to your business partner and enter the user name on tab Identification
    b) BP <-> managed system: start transaction BP, select role General and enter the External System Identifier (format: <managed system ID> <installation number> <client> <user in managed system>) on tab Identification
Alternative: Use transaction BP_GEN to create valid business partners for managed systems

  • IDOC-Xi-IDOC: CRM - XI -R/3 (No service for system SAPOCC, client ** in ID)

    Hi all
I am doing a scenario IDOC - Xi - IDOC where CRM sends an IDOC to R/3 via PI.
I have configured everything in OCC (CRM system), PI and BSC (R/3 system) but when I test it with the transaction WE19 in OCC nothing happens in PI or BSC.
All i can see if a message in SM58 transaction in OCC.
    Function Module - IDOC_INBOUND_ASYNCHRONOUS
    Target System - XI.
Status Text - No service for system SAPOCC, client *** in Integration Directory.
Could anyone tell me what is the problem.
Your help will be very much appreciated
    Regards
    Naina

Error message: No service for system SAPCRD client 201 in the integration directory
Cause: There is no service without party in PI server that represents OCC server with client details.
    Solution:
We send IDocs from system OCC to PI. In the control record (Segment EDIDC40) of the IDoc, the SNDPOR (SenderPort) field contains the value "SAPCRD". The client of the sending system is determined by the MANDT field of the control record. The system ID and client are then used to determine a service without party of the type (business-system/business-service)
In System Landscape Directory (SLD) create a technical system for OCC system and assign a client for the same. Don't forget to assign an "ALE logical system" to the technical system created. Create a business system for this technical system. Then Business System can be imported under service without party/update the details existing in PI.

  • No service for system X client Y in the integration directory

    Hi guys and gurus,
I've struggling with the following case for a couple of months (!!) and still I can not make it. I have to say that I am coming from the MM modules but trying to set up a ICH demo by myself during my spare time.
I send an idoc from R/3 to XI using program RSMIPROACT and I get message <b>No service for system SAPR3I, client 800 in Integration directory</b>. Even though, idoc has status 03 (Outbox).
    - I have created a technical and business system.
    - Connections work properly in SM59
    - Port XIDOCPORT with RFC XIDCLNT100 maintained txn WE21
    - Partner XIDCLNT100 (LS) with Outbound parameter:
Idoc name - Port created. txn WE20.
    - IDX1 maintained in XI system.
    Is there something missing?
This is my first post but points rewarded if somebody takes me out of this hole.
    Thanks,
    Ivan.

  • No service for system sap*** client *** , sm58 error

    Hi Friends
When I am trying to send message from My Xi system to R/3 system I am getting error.,
No service for system SAPSXD, client 001 in Integration Directory
I had searched it on sdn n found that this is very common error.
    I had gone through block,
The specified item was not found.
But then also not able to solve this error.
I m giving the config of my sys here,
I had created, logical system in my R/3 system for Xi system as SXD001 , and logical system for R/3 system is SND111.
and same thing I had maintained in Xi system also.
Now when i m trying to send message from Xi to R/3 I am gettin error in SM58 ,
No service for system SAPSXD, client 001 in Integration Directory.
I had checked note 940313 , that is for this same error, but the solution given in that is for when we get error while sending idoc from R/3 to XI but in my case I am getting same error while sending Idoc from XI to R/3.
I had creted 2 business system one as third party and one for my r/3 system.
where should i assign the logical system? and which logical system should i assign?that of XI system??
I had searched SDN lot but didnt got any scenario like this.
So please let me know..how to solve this problem.

    Hi Udo,
I had created a technical system as third party system for our partner. and technical system as web as abap for my R/3 system. In the third party system I had assigned a business system and a logical system as BAS01, and to my R/3 system I had assigned a business system and logycal system as SND111.
SXD is my system ID for XI.
In Id i had configured the whole scenario by creating importing this two business system under service withour party. and I am configuring under that. So how should i configure sender system here.
do i need to change some configuration on R/3 side? On r/3 side,in distribution model, i had defined the logical system name of PI as sender.Do i need to create the third party system here and specify its name in 'from' indistribution model?
This is my first scenario in XI so gettings lots of problem. I really appritiate ur help.
    Thanks.

  • No service for system YYYYY client ZZZ in Integration Directory

We recently applied SP12 to our XI 3 on SR1. When we try to send an IDoc from SAP R/3 system to SQL database (IDoc and JDBC Adapters) we are getting error messag in SM58 (R/3 System) as "No service for system SAPIDS, client 800 in Integration Directiry". SAPIDS is the port created using IDX1 and 800 is the R/3 IDES client. RFC communications etc work good. We do not se any difference in the set up of Integration Repository as well as Integration Directory.
    Please advise.
    Thanks,
    Bhaskar

    Hi Bhaskar
As the error message says, the service is not available. In your Integration directory, first clear the SLD cache, by choosing from the menu Environment --> Clear SLD Data. Then open your scenario and see if you any Business System assigned to it, you check that by going to,
your scenario --> service without party --> business system, and if there are no business system existing, you have to assign a business system.
Also have a look at the following thread,
No service for system ... in Integration Directory

    Hi,
When creating a support message from the Incident work center, the fields system and client are greyed out and thus not maintainable.
I have no problems creating support messages using the SAPWEBGUI or through transaction NOTIFCREATE, it is only when using the work center. I do not have any other issues in the workcenter, I can display and change support messages.
I have check the security settings and run a security trace which did not come up with anything.
Any advice as to why these fields are greyed out would be greatly appreciated.

  • No service for system SAPABI, client 800 in Integration Directory

    Hi,
We are getting the error in BI "No service for system SAPABI, client 800 in Integration Directory", when we extract the data from R/3 (ECC6) into BI System. It was working fine earlier, till XI-BI integration was done.
But, After XI integration is done in BI system we are getting this error, when ever we try to load the data from source system. The XI integration is removed now, but the error still continues.
The source system is ok and could able to replicate the data from R/3 into BI. Is there any XI related customizing need to be removed from BI?, so that it directly goes to the source system for data load, instead of hitting the Integration Directory, which is part of XI.
It would be great, if someone can give a solution for this.
    Thanks in Advance,
    SAP Admin.

    Hi,
First check at BI side transaction: SICF there services are properly configured or not, the services should be in Active state.
Second you must check transaction: SXMB_MONI here you can check what ever the Reports or Webservices are coming from out bound to inbound.
    1. first check out bound in that server you type SXMB_MONI there u can see Flag that should be in black. If it is Flag is in Red then the Report should be stoped there it self.
    2. Once it came to receiver side then u must check at inbound server by typing transaction: SXMB_MONI by checking that flag you will know what might be the problem.
Once check ur RFC connection also because you can get problem from RFC connections also.

My scenario is IDOC to File.
I did following step in R3.
    1.     Created RFC destination pointing to XI systems (name:XID)
    2.     Created IDOC port (name: SAPNID) and use above (XID) RFC in RFC destination.
    3.     Create Partner Type LI (Partner No. 3000) and add message type “ORDERS”, set the receiver port (SAPNID) created above.
    XI Side.
    1.     Create Technical System (Name : XID)
    2.     Business Systems (Name: R3XID)
    3.     In Integration Repository.
    •     Created Data Type
    •     Import IDOC “ORDERS.ORDERS04”
    •     Created Message Interface
    •     Created Message Type
    •     In Mapping Object created Message Mapping and Interface Mapping.
    4.     In Integration Directory
    •     Created the Scenario (name : “FILE_FROM_IDOC”)
    •     Assign Business Systems as “R3XID”
    •     Create communication channel(name: “FILE_ORDERS_COM_CHNL”)
    •     Create Receiver Determination

first clear the SLD cache, by choosing from the menu Environment --> Clear SLD Data in ID and open your scenario and see if you any Business System assigned to it, you check that by going to,

  • IDOC outbound port - No service for system X, client Y in Integration Direc

    Hi all,
We have a problem when sending an IDOC from ECC to XI to Legacy. At ECC, tx SMQS, we got the error "No service for system SAPEQ0, client 400, in Integration Directory".
I don't know what we need to do in ID to provide this service and solve this error...
Our ECC is configured on SLD as EQ0_400 (Logical name EQ0CLNT400), and the scenario was developed at Integration Directory using EQ0_400.
Debugging standard function that send the IDOC, I found that it ever uses the sender port as "SAP" + SY-SYSID... So I'm confusing, is necessary to configure the system in SLD whith this name "SAPEQ0"?
    thanks.
    roberti

Glad to hear that you got it working.
    >>"Error occurred during back-routing Error in communication channel".
Can you give some more description about the error?
Hope you have configured a IDOC receiver communication channel poiting to the ECCwith no reciever agreement attached to it.

  • Adding system and client specific TMS approval steps

    Hello,
In defining QA approval steps, how to define a step which is not system and client wide?
When adding a new step, it is automaticaly defined with * in the client and system fields, and when changing the steps, these fields are not editable. However, there are several approval steps for which a specific system and client are entered, but this was done by a consultant, who was here some years ago.
Does anyone know how to do this?
    Thanks in advance,
    A

    Hi Aleksandra,
Did you ever find a solution to this issue.  I too have multiple QA systems in our landscape (4 system landscape), and yet I can not defined system/client specific approval procedures in STMS.
The system and client options don't even appear when I go into change mode, yet table TMSQASTEPS has the options available.  Direct table update works fine, but it would be nice to know the "SAP standard" way of doing this.
    Cheers
