For the selected order type and plant, no check control is maintained in Plant Maintenance/Service in 'Availability Check for Materials, PRTs and Capacities'.

    Hello,
Go to SPRO --> Plant Maintenance & CS --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Assign order types to maintenance plants.
Maintain the order type SM03 against the plant.
Go to SPRO --> Plant Maintenance & CS --> Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Orders --> Completion confirmations --> Define the parameters for completion confirmations.
These both should be done, try to raise the SM03 order now.

  • Order type is not picking while converison Plnd to process order

    Dear Dudes,
i have maintained production scheduling profile in all material masters in which order type is specified. while converting planned order to process order order type is not picking.
    thanks in advance.

    Robert,
Since you are using same order type for both MTS & MTO, you can define this order type "PI01" in the MRP plant parameters using transaction OPPQ in the Conversion of Planned order section.
I am not sure, why production scheduling profile is not working for you, hope you are using the Production scheduling profile configured using CORY transaction check this part alone.

  • Number Range for Maintenance Order Type

    Dear All,
Please help me in regarding for Number range  Change in Maintenance Order Type.
    I have different types of maintenance order...such as PM01,PM02, PM03, PM04, PM05, PM06, PM07, PM08.
and i have to assign number range different for all the maintenance order type. kindly help how can i assign the same separately.
also in case of Notification types also.
    Early response is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Sushant

    Greetings Sushant,
Firstly, maintain all the Order Types you want in SPRO.
To maintain the number ranges, you will need to go to t-code OION. Then select "Maintain Groups (F6)" and create a group with a number range for each of the Order Types that you require.  Each will be a separate interval. Then place the cursor on the unassigned Order Type and select "Assign Element Group (F7)" Repeat for each Order Type.
Notification number ranges are maintained in t-code IW20

  • Order types, why do we need to create our order types and not use the stand

    HI
Order types, why do we need to create our order types and not use the standard ones during implementation.

    Hi Raj,
Well there is no hard and fast rule that you have to copy nad create a new order type. Its just to meet our own requirements that we copy the standard and make the changes if required to meet our business needs.
And by this way we keep unchanged the standard order type for further use.
If you are sure that the standard order type satisfies your need you can directly use that only.
I hope this clarifies the issue.

  • Order type has not been defined in sales area '1000','10','00'

    Hi Gurus
I am getting this error when try to create order
Order type has not been defined in sales area <'1000','10','00'>
but I checked in the configuration and assigned
    SPRO:SALES:SALES : DOCUMENTS :SALE3S DOCUMENTS HEADER:
ASSIGN SALES DOCUMENT TYPES : Assign sales order types permitted for sales are :1000 -10-00
But still I am getting this problem when trying to creates sales order from va01.
    Thanks
    Kris

SPRO --> Sales & Sistribution --> Sales --> Sales Document Header --> Assign Sales Area to Sales Document Type
    The above is one option.
Also Check Sales Document Type in T.Vode: VOV8
SPRO --> Sales & Sistribution --> Sales --> Sales Document Type
whether The Sales Document Type is Block, which could also be a possible reason.
Also check the Sales Area setting.

  • BAPI or FM to create Service Order type SM01 in Plant Maintanence

    Hi All,
Can anyone help me in searching for a BAPI or a function Module to create a Service Order of type SM01(Service Order). This is usually done through transaction IW31. I have written a BDC as of now but it is acting cranky as a lot of things depend on User Settings I wanted to have a generalised way of doing this rather than a BDC.
    Regards,
    Sudhi

    Hi Sudhi,
There does not seem to be a BAPI available for Service Order Creation (at least in 6.20). One option you can consider is create the order with minimum required fields using BDC and then immediately change it using the Order Maintain BAPI.
Is your BDC executed as part of a dialog transaction or in background job? If it is always executed in background you should not worry about user settings as you can schedule the job to always run with the same id. The same applies if your data comes in as an idoc.
Gareth is correct. I did not see the BAPI docu.
    Cheers,

if that document type is not even coming in the spro settings for the production server then i belive it has not been trasported to the production server and that means there has been some intentions to do that so its beeter to make sure that do u really need that document type or not if u need it then try to transport it from qc

  • Order type PM03 Not allowed in IW31 to create

    Hello,
I need to stop creating in order type PM03 in IW31 since it is created in background job.
and i have another order type and assigned to roles so I am not able to use the role control for this.
is there any other user exit for this?

    IF SY-TCODE = 'IW31' AND CAUFVD_IMP-AUART = 'PM03'.
MESSAGE: 'Direct Order Creation not allowed for PM03 Order type' TYPE 'E' DISPLAY LIKE 'I'.

  • Link from sales order to delivery not complete

    2007A
We have a few cases where the link from a sales order to delivery is not complete. For example, we have a sales order with 2 lines on it. We copy to delivery and add. Remarks field has the comment "based on sales order ...." However if you try to get to base document the icon is not available. In looking at the base document, base reference, base line fields on the items they are blank.
We also have instances of this where there were 20 lines on a sales order, we copy to delivery and 19 lines are linked but one is not.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

    Hi Keith ,
It looks like an application error to me if the action is straight forward - copy from SO to Delivery .
If you can replicate the issue , it is definitely a bug and you probably need to test with upgrade if it is happening or not .
So far , I would look for a higher version of patch and see if that issue is particularly addressed and resolved .
Also use this query for more help
    SELECT DISTINCT T0.DocNum FROM ODLN T0, DLN1 T1 WHERE (T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry) AND (T1.BaseEntry = [%0] OR T1.BaseRef = [%1])
    Hope this helps

  • Change pointer triggers for one order type but not for other with LOIPRO

    Hi all,
We have old production order type ZP01 since last 3 years. Idoc LOIPRO are triggered properly. Now we introduced new production order type ZP02, but idocs are not triggereing for these prod. orders. They both are production orders with different order types but same message type LOIPRO
I noticed that change pointers are not getting written to CDHDR and CDPOS for this new order type. For old order type they are getting written to CDHDR/CDPOS. Does any one know where is the issue in config.
Currently BD52 contains following entries for LOIPRO
    ORDER-AFKO-AUFNR
    ORDER-AFKO-KEY.
    Thanks in advance

    Anyone with an idea.
The project went live by using RCCLORD or RCCLTRAN, but still the same orders keep triggering. How do we restrict the already processed production orders.

  • How to Hide Maintenance Order Types

    Hi,
I have created new order types ORD1 and ORD2 as copy of PM01, when I run IW31 and take F4 in order type field, then system shows me all the order types.
Is there any possibility to hide standard order types PM01 -
PM06 from front end order type field?
Note: I don't want to delete standard order types.
Can I fix the order type ORD1 for an specific user / user ID, so that he can only create order by order type ORD1 and ORD2 must be invisible to him/her?

    Hi,
    Please follw below steps.
    1. Got IW31 then keep the cursor in Order type field and then press F4
    2. Select the order type which you want to display in the list for the user and then click on "Insert in Personal list" Icon at the top of the list.
    3. Repeat step 2 for the order type you want to display.
    4. Click on "Persoanl value display" icon to display the order types which you have added in th epersonal list.
You can click on "Display all values" if you want to displayall the order types later.
    Thanks and regards,
    Basavaraj.

  • Prod Order Type - do not explode bom

    Hi Gurus,
Can we set a certain order type not to explode bom at order creation? Thanks for the advice!
    Regards,
    Manoj

I thnk you may create an alternative BOM which does not contain any components and select it for the order type, please go to customization OPL8, there is a field for BOM application for certain order type.
Then, go to customization Production > Basic Data > Bill of material > Aternative determination, there are 3 transactions for determining BOMs associate with BOM application (e.g. selection ID etc), please try if you can confirue them to have the system select the alternative BOM.
