Service Management - Advance Shipment

Hello Experts,
I wanted to know how the advance shipment works for spare parts delivery.
Is there a way to control the Goods Issue for Service Order to not happen until the advance shipment for the order is complete.
Any direction will be appreciated.
Thanks,
R

Hello Vijay,
Advance shipment from the service order you can create as follows.
1.In service order add components to be advance shipped in "componet tab".
2.Select The Components
3.Click on Bottom "Adv Shipment" Button with vehicle picture.
4. Enter The SD document details Document type (SPO), Sales Organisation, Distribution Channel, Division.( Notes System copies this from Technical object also).
Advance shipment document is created.
5. It is linked to Service order You can viee from order header Status button.

  • Remote Desktop Service Manager - configure permissions for Remote Desktop Users to Send Message, Disconnect, Logoff

    Hello, dear colleagues.
We are using Windows Server 2012 R2 as Remote Desktop Server. Also use Windows Server 2008 R2 with Remote Desktop Service Manager to control RDS user sessions (Send Message, Disconnect, Logoff, Query Info).
Send Message, Disconnect, Logoff options works only for users in Administrators group.
I can't to configure permissions for Remote Desktop Users, specific user or AD group.
To set permissions I'm running RDS Host Configuration on Windows Server 2008 R2 and connect to Windows Server 2012 R2. Then double-click
RDP-Tcp, Security tab, add specific user account , AD group or configure
    advanced permissions
    for Remote Desktop Users.
But, as I sad above, these options works only for users in Administrators group. How to make it work for Remote Desktop Users or specific user, AD group?
    Thanks.
P.S. If move specific user from Remote Desktop Users group to Administrators group on
    Windows Server 2012 R2 - it works.

    Hi,
You can prevent administrators from changing the permissions for a connection by applying the
Do not allow local administrators to customize permissions Group Policy setting.
This Group Policy setting is located in Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Remote Desktop Services\Remote Desktop Session Host\Security
Apart there is one command with which you can set the permission for that check the related
    article. Additionally checkthis
    thread for more detail.
    Hope it helps!
    Thanks.

  • CRM Extractor for service management - date type

    Hi,
I want to extract data for the service management from crm system. I find the data with crm_order_read in the table et_appointment. I need the field appt_type with the time stamps.
Is there a business content extractor available? I can not find one for this issue.
In which table is the data from et_appointment really stored?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards
    Nils

    Hi Sunita,
I think you wanted to calculate the time duration of the service requests. you can refer to tables
    CRMD_ORDERADM_H,
CRMD_SRVPLAN_I (Service Plan Item - Service Cycle Interval).
Or you can refer to FM CRM_ORDER_READ and export parameter ET_APPOINTMENT.
    Regards,
    Karthik.

  • Creating a format file to map Incident records being imported from another tool in Service Manager.

Hello, we are trying to import some of our Incident records from BMC Remedy into Service Manager.  Our data architect is running into some difficulty finding the necessary information to create the format file (we plan to use the CSV import process).
Is there a comprehensive document that details out all of the properties available for Incidents, affected users, relationships, etc. in order to build the XML format file?  For example, System.WorkItem.Incident is the main type for Incidents.  Under
that, there is an 'Affected User' class.
Is anyone aware of this type of documentation for Service Manager?
    Thanks in advance,
    Brett

    Hi,
Affected user' is a relationship. System.User is a class. Your data architect has to investigate SCSM management packs to get the required info. Use this PowerShell command with standard SCSM poweshell console to get all management packs in pure XML. "c:\mp"
is a path that you could change.
    Get-SCSMManagementPack | Export-SCSMManagementPack -Path c:\mp

  • High Watermark issue with monitoring Service Manager 2012 R2

    Hi,
Our customer has a Service Manager / Operations Manager 2012 R2 environment where SCOM will regularly generate an alarm related to High Watermark monitoring on the Service Manager data warehouse - not every day though. The alarm looks like this:
Value of 3559 is not higher than 3559
This value hasn't changed for weeks.
Having done a lot of searching we have found nothing but reference to the same recurring flow of information where people keep mentioning different values but there is no conclusion of what this might be caused by and how to solve it. The solutions
have become outdated anyway. Here is one example:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/systemcenter/en-US/889af8f3-cdf8-4d88-ae99-5dbe18d529ef/service-manager-2012-data-warehouse-high-watermark-monitor
The Service Manager Database Account in SCOM is our service account that has sysadmin in SQL. Basically, with regards to the security configuration, our customer should be covered.
To my knowledge agent-based and agentless monitoring have both been supported since SCSM 2012 SP1. Also, we have the latest management pack for Service Manager monitoring in SCOM, at the moment this should be
    7.5.3079.0.
As mentioned above the value has not been changing for quite some time and nor has it in the database.
    My questions are the following:
    - Is there anyone that has found a solution in the meantime, especially with regards to R2?
    - What is the purpose of High Watermark monitoring for the data warehouse? Why does this need to be monitored?
    - We would like to understand the nature of this value better. Should it be higher each day compared to the day before?
    - Could it just be overriden in SCOM?
    Many thanks in advance!

Rather unexpectedly, the SCOM alarm disappeared overnight and when checking the workflow in the incident that was generated from the alarm, the incident got a Resolved status right before midnight at 23:59:58. We have a ConfigMgr connector that is scheduled
to run at 23:00 which we had disabled a day ago to check something else. But I don't think it had anything to do with this. As the alarm has disappeared from the SCOM console, we have also checked the registry values. Now, instead of "3559 3559 3559"
it says "3559 3559 3585". We have had the 3559 value since 18th July, and out of a sudden something must have been triggered, causing the value to increase. What was triggered and how, no idea... Not sure either what it means that only one of the
Three numbers have been updated with a new value. When talking about the DW jobs, using the SMlets we can see every day that, MPSync, DWMaintenance and the ETL jobs are working well. What we have had though for a longer time is that the cube processing
tends to have issues once a week, where processing won't finish and the cubes get hanging in a running state. We can fix that manually every time and often we don't even have to touch DWMaintenance or the ETL jobs, we don't need to go beyond manually
working with the cube processing jobs themselves. So it might not have an impact on the ETL jobs themselves. Occasionally we do find ourselves in a situation where we we need to play around in the SQL database and manually set the required value (can't
recall if it's 3, 6 or 7) cause we get an error in the DWMaintenance batch, but even though that's an occasional issue it's not constant and also something we can solve, and furthermore it's another known issue outside of the high watermark issue. So
we are a bit uncertain but can at least see that something works sometimes that sometimes increases the high watermark value :). In our case.

  • Web Services Manager - register services

    Hi all,
    I have an OC4J Standalone(10.1.3), Web Services Manager(4.0.3) and OracleAS Service Registry(10.1.3).
I have a Web Service deployed in OC4J.
Then I register de WS in OWSM in a Gateway, but I cannot see the wsdl. The error is:
System does not support the specified encoding. Error processing resource 'http://10.10.10.10:3115/ccore/policyMgmt/registry/ShowWSDL.jsp?serviceId=SID0003005'.
When I tried to go to http://10.10.10.10:3115/firstGateway/services/SID0003005?wsdl, the page cannot be found.
When I test the WS in OC4J is everything ok.
    Any idea??
the version of JDK is 1.4.2
    Thank you in advance,
    CD

The section in the doc you're quoting refers to integration with Oracle's Web Services Manager (WSM) which is another product. If you're deploying SPML web service to the app server (and without WSM), then you need to read the Deploying with ... section 12.3 where it has details about each app server. The endpoint URLs of a deployed service are:
    Weblogic: /spmlws/OIMProvisioning
    JBoss: /spmlws/services/HttpSoap11
    Websphere, OC4J: /spmlws/HttpSoap11
Once you've deployed the SPML web service, run the sample client, you even get the source code so you can see exactly what's going on. If you want to generate Java classes from a WSDL using some web services toolkit, there's nothing that's stopping you from doing that, just grab a WSDL for the right app server.

  • Need to stop the pop and Imap receive connectors to be able to start the pop and Imap services in Service Manager

    Hello All,
I am hoping that someone else has run across this issue (may have started after CU5 was installed).
Upon every reboot I have found that the "Microsoft Exchange IMAP4" and "Microsoft Exchange POP3" services in the service manager will not start... basic reason in the event viewer is that the ports are already in use.
If I go into the ECP and disable my POP and Imap receive connectors I am able to then start the services.
After the services are started I can then go back to ECP and enable the receive connectors again and everything is fine .
Can anyone shed any light on this?
    Thanks in advance ;)
    Chris

    Hello Winnie,
I bounced the Transport service tonight (adjusting spam filter levels)... so I was able to issue a stop and re-start of the IMAP4 and POP3 services in the service manager.
I stopped both the IMAP4 and POP3 services in service manager.
I issued the start of the services with PowerShell as requested:
    PS C:\Users\administrator.XXXXXXXX> Start-service MSExchangePOP3
WARNING: Waiting for service 'Microsoft Exchange POP3 (MSExchangePOP3)' to start...
WARNING: Waiting for service 'Microsoft Exchange POP3 (MSExchangePOP3)' to start...
WARNING: Waiting for service 'Microsoft Exchange POP3 (MSExchangePOP3)' to start...
Start-service : Failed to start service 'Microsoft Exchange POP3 (MSExchangePOP3)'.
    At line:1 char:1
    + Start-service MSExchangePOP3
    + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
        + CategoryInfo          : OpenError: (System.ServiceProcess.ServiceController:ServiceController) [Start-Service],
       ServiceCommandException
        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : StartServiceFailed,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.StartServiceCommand
Then I first stopped the receive connector in ECP and issued the command:
    PS C:\Users\administrator.XXXXXXXX> Start-service MSExchangePOP3
WARNING: Waiting for service 'Microsoft Exchange POP3 (MSExchangePOP3)' to start...
WARNING: Waiting for service 'Microsoft Exchange POP3 (MSExchangePOP3
With the receive connector disabled in ECP it was successfully started.... then I enabled the receive connector in ECP and all is fine now
    repeated the same with  IMAP4
    to recap....
If I stop the IMAP4 and/or POP3 service in service manager, I must first disable the IMAP and/or POP receive connector in the ECP, then start the service in service manage.. and then finally go into ECP and enable the receive connector.
    Thanks,
    Chris

You need to enable JSSO if you want the oc4jadmin password to be in scync with the other AS products. If you just want to login with oc4jadmin you perform the following steps. PLease note that if you change the passord in EM you will have to make these changes again to keep the password the same. JSSO is a cleaner solution.
To change the default password for the user "admin", follow these steps:
    - delete admin user
    - add admin user back
    - add admin user to the super user group "su1-grp"
    1. Go to OC4J_HOME/owsm/bin directory and modify manageUserGroups.properties
    user_id=admin
    user_name=admin user
    user_password=yourNewPassword
    user_email=[email protected]
    group_id=su1-grp
    group_desc=super user group
    2. Delete the existing admin user by executing
    wsmadmin manageUserGroups deleteUser
    4. Add the admin user again by executing
    wsmadmin.bat manageUserGroups addUser
    5. Add admin user to super user group
    wsmadmin.bat manageUserGroups addUserGroup
The admin user password is changed.

  • Oracle Web Service Manager Login failed

    Hi ,
I had installed advance version of SOA 10.1.3.1 on windows xp. I abel to login to all component other than web service manager.I am using the oc4jadmin user id and its password to login. Please let me know what i have to do to fix it.
    Regards,

    Hi syed,
I completely agree to you. But I observed that after advanced installation of SOA suite, only OWSM uid & pwd defers from the default oc4jadmin uid & pwd like for other components.
We can configure that at later point of time. But by default, oc4jadmin credential will not work.

  • Why SCOM 2012 R2 Agent version for Service Manager servers is 6.1.7221.49, why not 7.1.10184.

    Hi ,
In SCOM 2012 R2 console  if i look at all of my agent managed servers have agent builds of 7.1.10184 but my two service manager  servers have agent builds of 6.1.7221.49
Can anyone let me know is this known issue or how can we upgrade the agent to correct version.
    Thanks in advance
    Bharath

    Hi,
SCOM and SCSM are built on the same structure, Management Servers and DAta Warehouse etc. This means that when you install the SCSM Management Server, the Microsoft Monitoring Agent is also installed. When
you want to monitor Service Manager and the server it´s installed on, you need to configure the SCOM parameters from the control panel at the SCSM management server.
If you were to try and install the SCOM agent at the SCSM server, it would fail and tell you that you can´t install the agent on a server where Service Manager is installed. The agent will be upgraded when
you upgrade Service Manager so this is all expected and It´s as it should be :)

  • Web Services Manager Control, SOA Suite, Retrieving Roles from OID

I am a bit confused about mapping of groups and privileges when it comes to the LDAP (in my case oracle internet directory, OID) and groups defined by Web Services Manager Control.
I am using Web Services Manager Control->Manage Policies to define a gateway (or agent) for my web services. Through
Policy Management > Manage Policies > Policies > Policy
I have also defined some pipeline steps which require authorization by an LDAP provider.(OID)
    I need two things:
    - First I have such roles and groups here in Web Services Manager:
    Administration > Groups / Roles
    Group Name      Role Name
    su1-grp      Super User
    da1-grp      Domain Administrator
    ca1-grp      Component Administrator
    ca2-grp      Component Administrator
which could be set for view and modification of web services. What is the relation between these groups and user groups in Oracle Internet Directory which I authorize against?
    - Second, my web services are invoked from pages which access to them involves authentication and authorization against OID. I need the username/password to be propagated to the webservice automatically. If the web service is presented as a button on such pages, for example, I don't want the user to be forced to enter username/passwords for each call to the services/
I appreciate any comments or reference to books and documents.
    Thank you in advance.
    Best Regards,
    Farbod

    Hi Farbod
Your problem is not new and i have posted in couple of other threads before.
Roles in OID are for you to authorize the web service message itself. In your case when the user logins to your web application and calls the web service, you have to do two things:
    a) Extract Credentials
    b) AUthenticate against LDAP
    c) Perform authorization against LDAP
Now the trick part is, you have to have the same username and password. You have to capture and store in session( ugly ugly..from security point of view) and then when you call the web service, you then invoke with the username and password.
There are other better options available but might require additonal work or infrastructure.
If your web application is protected by Oracle Access Manager or siteminder, you can pass those cookies.
Next option is using SAML. You can generate SAML token on behalf of the user, and attach the SAML token to the web service messsage. In OWSM you then configure to validate SAML token and then you have to write custom step to extract the user name and perform any authorization.
Since anyway you have to write custom step, third option is you can send encrypted cookie ( You web application can create a login session cookie -encrypted after the user signed in ). In OWSM you can write custom step to decrypt the cookie and then perform any validation.
You have the easiest option of sending the same username and password with a security risk, or a custom development approach.
    Thanks
    Ram
