Service Manual or Take-apart Guide for Motherboard...

Does anyone have the Nokia Service Manual for the Booklet? Or a take-apart guide which covers replacing the motherboard? Thanks.

You will have to try elsewhere for that.
It's against the rules of this forum to pass on Nokia's internal service manuals or discuss warranty voiding self repairs.
With it being a computer you may have more luck on a general computer hardware forum.

  • Take Apart Guide for PM G5 2.0 Dual (Late 2005)

    Hello
It has been determined that my PM G5 has a blown power supply. Unfortunately I do not qualify for the repair program as I purchased my PM G5 in late December '05. So, now I'm going to have to try & replace the power supply myself.
I've been searching the web now for about 2 days & did manage to find some guides, the best of which is from '03, but I can't seem to find clear consice instructions for my particular G5. I'm stuck at the point where I need to remove the large plate (the on with G5 printed on it) that covers the CPU's. After that everything I've read/seen seems pretty straight forward.
So, anyone know where I can get a take apart guide for the Power Mac G5 Dual (Late 2005).
    Thanks

Steve, looks like you have exactly what I need. Is there any chance you could send me the information, or a link to where I could obtain it? I have two G5's that need repair and I am under a deadline. Thanks in advance. (Hope someone is still watching this thread!)

  • IMac G3 Take Apart

I have been considering taking apart my iMac G3 600 Mghz "snow". The screen is very bad and i think it will die very soon. I plan to put it in a new case and use it as a server, but i had a few quesitons. If I take it apart what precautions should i take and is it even worth it at all? Would there be any danger involved in it? I plan on taking out the Logic board, Power Supply, CD Drive, HardDrive, down-converter someting and any other parts that are necessary to run.
What are you thoughts on this?

You could try to locate the service and repair manual for your iMac on the Internet. I think the name is
imac_summer01.pdf. AppleRescue has this manual for sale. See: http://applerescue.com/
    Check out this site:
    Take apart guide
    iMac HDD Upgrade Guide (Slot-Loading)
    Warning:
The power supply is just a logic board and it isn't separately enclosed like a pc power supply. And the power supply is next to the crt and crt contains dangerous/fatal voltages even after powering off your machine!

  • Need 50AX60 service manual and/or file number

I am trying to repair a old school Toshiba 50AX60 rear projection TV. I need the file number for the service manual so I can search for a free download online. Can anyone help me?
    THX
    Mike

The manual was very helpful. I used the procedure I found there. When I got to step 5 where you check the PSU fans, I see that they try to spin up when the power button is pushed. They don't even get a full rotation before they stop. I guess this means that the PSU has some problems. Up until step 5 the voltages where correct, so I guess just checking one or two voltages does not tell the full story.
I noticed that the pinouts posted here
    http://www.outofspec.com/frankenmac/wire.shtml
did not match the manual. They are the mirror image (up/down) from the manual. The manual matched my pinouts. Also where it says 28v on the frankenmac diagram, it is 25v in the manual.
New PSU units cost $340+, from what I see. The computer is not worth much more than that. I think I will put my money towards a new Core I7 Mac tower, when they come out. I should be able to move the hard drive over. Hopefully the new towers will handle the old hard drives. In the mean time my gaming PC will have to do double duty.

  • Manual/Guide for disassembling Qosmio G10

    Hi,
Just a question. Does anyone have a good link or guide for when you want to open the Toshiba G10? I dont have any more warranty and unforutnately I believe the graphics card is dead, but just want to make sure.
    Thanks,
    Blunder

    Hello,
Ive already performed a disassembling on two Qosmio models. The F15 AV201 and the G15 AV503. All this line is similar in construction.
I will link you to a site with pictures and how to disassemble the Qosmio F15 15(the same as F10). But is much similar to the G10, G15.
    http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba_Qosmio_F15/open_laptop_case_1.htm
Note: There is no way to change the Nvidia Graphics card because it is a BGA soldering type chip. I believe it is the Fx5700 128MB for your model.
All these models F10, F15, G10 and G15 are with a known problem of design project.
THE GRAPHIC CARD STOPS WORKING WITHOUT NOTICE AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME.
It can take a month, some months, a year or more, but sooner or later it will happen.
Toshiba is exchanging the motherboard with the nvidia FX5700 card for a new one with the go6600 graphic card. And you must upgrade your Notebook BIOS for using the new graphic card.
Well, after technical service it will come with the new BIOS version 2.0 and the label Refurbished.

  • Where can I find a service manual for Satellite L30?

    Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a service manual / engineers guide for a Satellite L30?? I have a broken hinge on my laptop and Toshiba were very helpful in helping me find replacement parts - via Topaz. They were also a bargain at only 8.00 + postage for a pair of them. However......when I enquired about 'how to fit them?' they both became rather 'un-helpful'!!!!
And I really don't feel like paying PC World the 219.00 they quoted to fit them!!!
I have no fear of opening and playing around with the insides, but any help or 'pointers' would be gratefully appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance :-)

Does Toshiba have a service manual available for download or purchase? By service manual I mean a document that shows the internal component and how to dissassemble the laptop. This would be different from the User's Guide, which I already have.

  • MSI Motherboard Schematics/Service Manuals?

    Hello All,
I have a K8N Diamond Plus that I absolutely love, but which has recently stopped POSTing (4 LEDs of the D-bracket remain red -- I've narrowed it down to discrete component on the board someplace).  The board is beyond warrantee, and so I would be very interested in getting my hands on the schematics and/or service manual to diagnose the issue.  Can anyone point me to a source?
    Thanks in advance!
    Phil

No surprise MSI is unwilling to let go a schematic, I guess.  I'm sure such documentation would fall under MSI "trade secrets" -- can't let any proprietary info out lest they risk losing their competitive advantage.
Service manuals, however, can be written to hide sensitive information.  There's even a connector (JLPC1) which I suspect is used to help diagnose hardware problems.  *Any* info that MSI would be willing to offer to help me debug this would be useful!
The POST failure is a recent development.  It began intermittently, and became more frequent over time, until finally it wouldn't start at all.  But every time the BIOS managed to initialize, the board ran beautifully in every case.  I've ruled out all but the K8N Diamond Plus itself (via swaps with redundant components on other operating boards), and the fact it runs great once initialized tells me the problem is related to the BIOS.  This problem "feels" like a pull-down, trigger or broken trace someplace.  And I've already used contact cleaner to hopefully ferret out any dust bunnies causing shorts.
I've asked MSI whether they would still service this board out of warrantee.  So far no response.  In the interim, if someone with MB hardware development experience can even throw out a common/probable failure for these boards that causes what I'd described (4 red LEDs), that would be a good start.
I appreciate the offer for parts.  If I manage to identify which one is the problem (w/o a schematic *sigh*), I'll definitely take you up on it!
    Thanks, Phil

  • Service manual & Parts for C2N34UA

I just bought this laptop/notebook at auction but finding information on it is like finding hen's teeth (that probably gives away my age & geographic origins).
It's a 2000-2B80DX - C2N34UA 15.6" laptop. I cannot find any information on the manufacture date of this computer but since it has Windows 8 I'm guessing it's a relatively new model which might explain the scarcity of a service manual.
Before ripping into it, I was hoping to get some detailed information for spare parts, specifically the size screws needed for the LCD screen & display assembly. That's the only thing missing on the computer-the LCD. I just happen to have a screen but I'm short of screws. You might even say I have a few loose.
I'm trying to sell my old G62 341NR so I don't want to cannibalize it but I'm guessing most of the needed screws are interchangeable since that's the LCD I have with the identical connector.
One last question is whether this model is interchangeable with the 2000-2b09ca because invariably when I search on my model that one pops up.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this & Happy Thanksgiving!

The 2000-2b09ca is a different model entirely, so it's not interchangeable.

  • [VIA] Service Manuals fro Motherboard

    Hello!
My name is Ljubisa Pejin and I work for company which build custom PC system, sells computer hardaware and software, build network solutions etc.
Among my duties I run service department. We are oriented to MSI in building systems using MSI motherboard and MSI grapchic cards.
We are ordering our goods from local distributor for our country, that is Serbia and Montenegro. My question is relating to service manuals for mainborads and vga card. It seems that there is no electronic sheme to  obtain. It would pretty much help in diagnosting hardware problems. Would be so kind to tell us how it can be obtain that kind of manulas. I stress that we need for diagnostic not for reparing because it is not profitable to repair it.
    Thank you in advanced.

altusso, just to clarify what has already been stated, this is a user-to-user community forum. anyone who needs help with an MSI product can find it here, or if you cannot find help for your problem, you can ask for help, and if someone knows the answer they can help you.
the only people you won't find here are employees of MSI, so if you have questions that only MSI can answer, then you will need to contact them directly
    How to contact MSI.

  • Apple Service Manual .pdf for Performa 5400

    Dear Forum,
Please post a link for the .pdf Performa 5400 Service Manual.
Can you advise me on how to obtain parts for vintage apple machines?
I need to install a new CD ROM reader.
    Thanks,

That design uses a mother board with a "Big Connector" all the way across the back of the board. Before you decide its shot, you should remove and re-seat the motherboard a few times to clear slight corrosion off that connector. Every signal in the whole machine goes through that connector.
Any Mac that pre-dates the beige G3 used a SCSI CD drive.
If you do need to get at the CD drive, the releases are under the bottom front part of the bezel. The bottom part of the bezel comes out and up until it is free to be removed. Those tabs will be pretty stiff by now -- try to avoid sharp tools, as it will be easy to snap them off.

  • Guide to take apart an HP Compaq cq60-220EO

Hi. I have a huge problem with an cq60-220EO computer. It has over time taken in a lot of dust and that is traped in the cooler grill. I have softly tryed to take apart the computer in order to get rid of the dust, but in vain. I don't know if I shall approch the cooler and the fan from above or belov.
Does anyone know where to find a good guide who describes as to how to take the "Compaq Presario CQ60-220EO" apart??
The problem is that dust has gathered at the cooler grill and that prevents air from being blown out and like a blanket it traps the same air on the inside and prevent fresh air from the outside to enter the cooling system. As a result the temperature of the traped air increase rapidly. In order to protect itself the CPU lowers the clock frequency untill the temperature reach a point where the Mother Board simply cuts the power in order to save what can be saved. No "Windows is shutting down" messages of any kind, just a few thousand RPMs of the fan and then it cuts power.

Here is the Manual you need:

Be careful in there. Take your time and establish a method to identify and keep track of the screws.
