  • OSM - Central Order Managment - Service Order Managment

    Hi!
I'm studing OSM. Now, I have a problem. How the request Order passes from COM (Central Order Managment) to the SOM (Service Order Managment) ?
    Thanks

    Hi !
I'm studing OSM too, I have been reading documentation and I Understand that COM and SOM are booth in a Single Orchestration process that can be designed in
"Design Studio" as a plug in of the Eclipse Plataform, when you talk about "how the request Order passes from COM to SOM" I asume that you understand the
process to get the income message that comes from a external system as a file .XSD and then the Orchestration process have to convert that file in a XML that understand the OSM, then the OSM have to map each products or items or services into a fulfillment plan that specifies how to fulfill that products or services or orders, and all of this components are entities that you have to define in the Orchestration process and that entities or components are in the Environmet of the Design Studio, some of this components are: "Orchestation Sequence" , "Order Item Specification", "Product Class", "Fulfillment Mode" , "Orchestration Stages" , "Order Recognition Rules", "Process", "Descomposition Rules" , "Automated or manual Tasks", "Data Dictionary".

  • Is it possible to print service order directly with PDF formular?

    does anybody know:
is it possible to print service order directly with PDF formular?
i don't mean to use the SE38 calling PRG RSTXPDFT4 to transfer SAP sript into PDF.

    Not possible directly..
But you can call this tranzaction to convert to PDF  & print. For this you need development

  • Schedule Service Orders autom. with workforce management

    Hi all!
We are using CRM5.0 with Workforce Deployment to implement some schedule rules to service orders.
I have some questions that I'd like to have an answer:
    1. HOW TO TRIGGER
Does anybody know whether it is possible to trigger an automatic scheduling of Service Orders with the Workforce Management rules? How can it be made using ABAP code (trigger by PPF actions)?
    2. WORKLOAD DEPENDING ON SUBJECT CODE
The idea would be to add weights to the service order subject.
    For example, if:
. Employee A has 2 tickets assigned to him related with "New products", which has weight 4 -> Workload 8
    And:
. Employee B has one ticket assigned to him with subject code "New contract" with weight 10 -> Workload 10
Then if a new service order appears, it should be scheduled automatically to employee A.
    Thank you!
    Dora

    Jothi,
Check whether RFC destinations are created for WFM  in SM59. Since u want to synch employees from CRM to WFM,choose ALL BUSINESS PARTNERS(MESG) as the subscription object and select all business transactions as replication objects in publication.
Make sure, u create the logical system before u create site for WFM in SMOEAC.
Lemme know if u have any questions.
    Thanks

  • IW31 Service Order created with reference order, sold to party not populated

    Hello
If one decides to create a new service order with IW31 but based on an old one using reference order field, not all data's are popullated to the new document:
It works for some data's like :
    - operations
    - components
It does not work for the following data's:
    - service order description
    - sold to party
    - main workcenter
Does someone know if it is possible in the customizing to determine "copy rules"  in order popullating values from the reference document to the new?
Is it a bug or a SAP standard behaviour?
    Kind regards
    Chris

    Hello,
The behaviour you have described is correct - Description, partners, main work center are not copied from reference order. See note 197581.

  • Service order operations with different plants

    Hi,
We would like to use different plants in our operations for service. This works fine but at certain operations we have set components (with backflush). While processing the service order these components receive the service order planning plant where it should be the plant mentioned in the operation.
The reason why we would like to use different plants is because the material that has to be repaired will pass through those different plants. (or should we just create multiple service orders ?)
    Example :
Task list created in plant 001 :
    Operation A plant 001 with component Y
    Operation B plant 002 with component Z
The service order is created in planning plant 001 and when you go to the component tab, the plants of component y and z are set to plant 001 where it should be component Y --> plant 001 and component Z --> plant 002.
Is setting the plant for components equal to the planning plant, standard behaviour ? (can't find anything to change this)
Do i have to achieve this with a user exit ?
    with regards

    Hi dear,
In that Case : u can create a single delivery...... AS the ccriteria for delivery split as per standard are
    1. ship-to-party
    2. shpping point
    3. route
    4. incoterms
    5. transportation zone
    Thanks,

  • Batch load script for Order Management with Oracle R12 EBS

    Hello,
I am looking for a way to load a million dummy test records into Order Management. For example, I would like to automate a batch process to generate a million new sales orders for Oracle 12.1.1 EBS on Linux platform. If anyone has an idea on how to script this, would appreciate your help.

  • Service order replication with Spare parts( Item category SRVM) to R/3

    Hi Experts,
We are  creating service order in CRM with spare parts details(Item category SRVM) and this service order has to replicate to backend R/3.
As per my knowledge Service orders are replicated as Sales orders in R/3 with sales items only i.e. SRVS.
My question is Can i replicate the Spare part details( Item Category- SRVM), what i am entering in the CRM service order to the R/3.
    Points wil be rewarded.
    Thanks in advance.
    Nadh.

    Hi Pepe,
Thank you for your quick reply.
The status of the item shows "To be distributed" when i try making changes it shows a message

  • BO Data Services Change Management with SAP Charm Functionality

    HI Gurus,
We have been tasked with automating the Change Management activity for Business objects data Services. The same is currently performed as a manual task which could be prone to errors. We have researched all over the place and we have not been able to find any documentation on in order to carry out this activty through Solution Manager ChaRm functionality.
So, Can SAP Solution manager perform the LCM (Life Cycle management) for Business objects Data Services via means of it CHaRm functionality?
Right now we know that the components for BO are present on Solution manager within the SMSY transaction. We have also been able to create the complete landscape within the same and create a project template for it.
Now the challenge is how do we configure ChaRm in order to move the DI code from one repository to the next?
here are the requirements we are trying to implement:
    1. Create a full landscape for Business Objects Data Services within SMSY in Solution manager
    2. Create Project template for Business objects Data Services
    3. Create RFC connections to Database and BODS Client Servers
    4. Configure Charm in order to automate Change Management for Data Service
    Please advice.
    Thanks,
    Nat Hernandez

    Hi Natanael
I am also looking for the same
Would you please let me know how did you implement this

  • IPhoto 6 crashes when opening with iPhoto Library Manager with external sto

I've had stored many iPhoto libraries on my Freecom Mobile Drive 160gb, accessing them via iPhoto Library Manager, for years. Suddenly, when I try to open a library, iPhoto crashes. I'm still able to go into the storage disk so I don't think this is damaged. I've also reinstalled IPLManager (using original 3.2.3), without any luck.
I get this crash report (greatly abbreviated)
    PID: 809
    Thread: 0
    Exception: EXCBADACCESS (0x0001)
    Codes: KERNPROTECTIONFAILURE (0x0002) at 0x00000000
Does this make sense to anyone? I can't understand why one minute everything is fine, and then the next a procedure which has worked for a long time, doesn't. BTW, I've taken off lots of junk from the Freecom external drive (have 44gb available) and 3gb available on my iBook.
Many thanks in advance for any help or advice.

    That
    Exception Codes: KERNPROTECTIONFAILURE
is always a Data Related issue.
So use iPhoto Library Manager to rebuild the Library. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

  • Interfacing SAP R/3 4.7 Order Management with GTS 3.0 or GTS future release

    Scenario I
During order entry (Tcode VA01) in SAP R/3 4.7 users would like to prevent an order from being saved for a certain product if it is not ok to order / blocked for shipment. The current thought is that GTS (version 3.0) has data loaded that is used to check during delivery creation whether a delivery is ok to ship or not.
Can such a check using GTS be carried out during order entry. The requirement is to do a real-time call to GTS during VA01 and if the device is not ok to order user should get an error message letting them know the reason why the order cannot be saved. I believe there is no real time interface supported between order entry and GTS and so this type of a check may not be available during order entry.
    Scenario II
After an order has been saved in SAP R/3 4.7 users would like to know before the delivery gets created for this order if this order will be blocked from shipping due to sanctions in GTS.
The current concern is that users cannot tell till it the order is ready to ship if the delivery will be blocked for shipment. If there is a way in GTS (via a report / transaction) to let the users know that this order is on not ok to ship then users can take proactive steps to address the issue rather than having to wait till the delivery note is about to be created.
If anyone can highlight if there is any capabilities in GTS 3.0 or future releases of GTS to support the above scenarios OR any potential workaround to address these scenarios that will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks a lot.
    Regards,
    Samir Agarwal

    Hi,
Dont know about GTS 3.0, but in GTS 7X we have the option to prevent an order from being saved if it is not complying with any of the regulations or is not ok for further customs processing.
Its not possible to give a real time update in va01. but when you try to save it, it'll  throw an error log. though you will be able to save it but the sales order will be blocked for any further processing.
It'll will not allow you to do delivery on this order (which shows a status blocked). I guess this suffice the requirement in both scenarios.
    Regards

  • Library management with external hard drive

I have a 120GB external hard drive, where I store all of my music, audiobooks, videos, etc. When I created my iTunes library, everything worked great and I loaded my media into my Video iPod.
But, the next time I plugged my external hard drive into my laptop, the library "cannot find" any of the files. So, if I want to copy anything over to the iPod again, I have to delete and recreate the library.
Any thoughts on how to make this work so the link to a library on an external hard drive remains permanent?

Using an ExHD is no problem. However, you should note several items:
    - The ExHD should always mount as the same drive letter. If not, iTunes will lose the references (you'll get the '!')
    - You must have the ExHD up and running before opening up iTunes, otherwise you may not be able to play the music and iTunes will reset the Music Folder to the default (on the C: drive).
    - It may be best to remap the ExHD to a letter that will never be taken by any other peripheral you attach. Use something like 'M'. That way, if you plug in something else before turning on the ExHD, the expected mount letter will still be available. Also see: How to change drive letter assignments in Windows XP
I run a dual Library with Lossy files on my Laptop's internal drive and Lossless files on my ExHD. I have it mounting as 'L' and have never lost the references within iTunes.
If I do have the ExHD disconnected (most times), and select a Lossless song, I will get the '!', but the next time I open iTunes with the ExHD properly attached, those 'broken links' go away.
I would guess that you are mounting the ExHD as different drive letters from time to time.
