Service order - mass cancellation of confirmation

Hi,
We have confirmed about 100 000 rows on service orders and are now cancelling the confirmations in IW47. This takes VERY long time to cancel (up to three days). Do anyone have some tips how to do this in a quicker way? We don´t think IW45 is an option.

Hi,
Instead of deleting an order,we can assign the reason for rejection.
Goto T.Code "MASS".
Enetr the object type as "BUS2032".
Press F8 or Click on "Execute".
Click on Fields.
Search for the field "MASSVBAP-ABGRU".
Select that line entry.
Enter your order numbers range in from and to fields.
Execute and then assign the reason for rejection.
After this the status will be changed to completed and cannot be billed.
Save.

We have created some more than 100 production order , for which we have issued materials , confirmations dobe , GR done , TECO done . Now we want to cancel all the posting , confirmations as we want to cancel these orders and create new orders . Is there is any provision in standard to cancel all documents , confirmations , GR , teco collectively in a single step or any work arounds.

Hi,
There is no mass way to cancel the Confirmations and Documents.You have to cancel them manually one by one or create LSMW for it.Same case is applicable to revoke the TECO status.

Mass cancellation of production order confirmation

Hi All,
Wrong confirmation is posted with no cost control key. But the operation is relevant to cost.
Now we have to cancel all the wrong confirmations & re-confirm with a correct control key. Is there any way to cancel confirmations in mass??

Can one please help me on following points:
1. After cancellation of TECO on service order what happens to the costs?
2.What all areas will get effected after TECO of a Service order?
3.Is it possible to cancel/delete a Service Order?
4.If so what all areas has to be looked in before canceling a service order and canceling a TECO?

1. After cancellation of TECO on service order what happens to the costs?
The costs remain as it is in the Service order.There is no changes in the costing.Cost can be viewed in Costing Tab in Service order (IW33--> cost tab) or thru t-code KOB1
2.What all areas will get effected after TECO of a Service order?
After TECO, the following transactions cannot be done : Material Reservation, scheduling,goods movement, confirmation,Requisition,Quotation, RRB, etc etc.
Once TECO is done, the goods movemnent,confirmation, etc cannot be reversed.
3.Is it possible to cancel/delete a Service Order?
A Deletion Flag can be set at the service order header level.
4.If so what all areas has to be looked in before canceling a service order and canceling a TECO?
Service order should be open ( status = CRTD) for it to be deleted. All confirmations and goods movement etc should be reversed before deleting a service order.
TECO cancellation cannot be done for settled orders.

Pricing date change on service order when creating confirmation.

Hi gurus,
I want to change the pricing date (and recalculate prices)on service order to the date confirmation is created from the service order.I would like to know if this can be achieved by copy control BADI or order save BADI or pricing BADI ?
Please guide if anybody has already achieved this functionality.

Hi Dona,
Pricing manipulation for an order can be done by using CRM_PRICING_BADI.Use the method CRM_PRICING_MERGE, here you can use the changing parameter CS_PRICING_BADI to change the pricing data.

Mass Cancel/ Mass change of a product across all orders

Dear Friends,
We have a typical requirement at our client:
1.How to cancel a product across multiple orders (Mass Cancel) ?
2.How to change a product acorss multiple orders (Mass change in all orders)
They had a issue with one of the product and to be cancelled due to legal requirements..but we have had the orders ready, which include other materials also.
We now want to change one Material across all orders..how to do this? Same is the case wtih Mass Cancellation requirement.

1) To cancel in mass, you have to create a recording in LSMW and upload the text file
2) To change a material in multiple sale orders, go to VA05, input the material code and execute. There from top menu bar, click on "Edit -- Mass Change -- New Material"

Cancellation of confirmation on production order

We would like to know what are the available transaction that we can use in order to cancel a confirmation counter? and how could i made a cancellation of confirmation without goods movement, we just want to cancel the counter confirmation only.

Hi,
Standard behaviour of SAP is when you try to cancel any confirmation system will fetch all the goods movement carried out against it during confirmation and reverse the confirmation as weel as the goods movement.
If the stock of goods movt is not available / period end closure then system will post the goods mo0ve error which can be viewed in Tcode : COGI for correcting the same.
When you goto Tcode ; CO13 to cancell / reverse the confirmation against ta production order you enter the order number and operation number for which you wish to cancel / reverse. System will take to the confirmation screen , on the top you have a Goods Movt tab , click the Goods Movement tab screen , system will take you to goods move screen where you can see all the goods movt pertaining to that confirmation, ther you can select the records and delete.
Once you do the above system will perform only the confirmation cancellation and not the Goods Movt reversal.

Mass cancellation IW47

Hello,
Please I would like to know if is possible to use the action mass cancellation confirmation through the transaction IW47.
When I run the transaction IW47 the system generate a list of confirmation, and if I try to get a mass cancellation of confirmation, this option on menu are disable.
There's customizing to let use this action in this transaction?
I was looking for SAP notes and threads in this forum, but I didn't find nothing about this question.

Yes it should work.
As the menu option is greyed out it appears you don't have authorization for object I_CONFSTOR.

DMR not updated from Prepaid service order

Hi,
we are creating DMR in ECC system when the items are released in CRM system for a prepaid service order.
The DMR is created successfully and the transaction history is also updated as expected.
The DMR document is not updated when the prepaid service order is updated.

Confirmed service items should appear in the service order with the status confirmed.These confirmed items can be seen in the assignments tab page in the service order their status should show as complete.

Cancellation of Service order confirmation

In IW31 we are creating service orders. That service order is posted in 03/24/2008. When i cancel that service order today it is posting into 03/24/2008. But it has to post in Current date. ( 11/25/2008 ).Can any one tell me why it is happening like that.?
The below is the brief explanation.
"The main problem is that after the last day of the month users sometimes have to cancel a confirmation( IW45) against a service order. Unfortunately this is posted back into the month that the original confirmation was done. This does not seem to be the correct way for this to be handled. The posting should be made into the current month..

IW45 changes cancellation of confirmed service orders

Hi Every one,
User is trying to cancel a confirmed service order using Transaction code IW45. When he cancells the service order it is showing the posting date is past date( order confirmed date). Not current date.
But when we do the cancellaton of production orders and goods issue against service orders it is showing current date ( default ).
As per user requirement the cancellation of confirmed service order should display the current date not past date.
Since IW45 is a standard process , then the user requirement is the cancellation of service orders posting date should be the current date but not the service order confirmed date( Past Date ).
Please let me know is there any possibility if so how??

Service order part confirmation cancellation

Hi experts,
Iu2019m facing Issue with service order part confirmation.
Once we do the part confirmation the parts removes from conformation screen- goods movement overview and goes into the goods movement and if we do the cancel part confirmation it again come to goods movement overview screen again for re part confirmation.
Here user has done the part confirmation and then cancel part confirmation still these parts are not appearing onto the confirmation overview screen.
If any body has any thoughts that why it is happening then please let me know.

How to cancel/reverse confirmation of service in SD module?
By confirmation of service I mean document which we can see in SD documents flow (if scenario is without goods movement).
User need to delete delivery but confirmation of service and sales invoice were posted. We reversed invoice but do not know how to cancel/reverse confirmation of service.
Additionally u2013 is there any transaction where I can look at confirmation of service? It is NOT possible to look at this document in flow documents.

It was NOTcreated in CS module. There is nothing in iw33.
It is confirmation of service in SD module.
Flow:
- you create sales order
- you create delivery with reference to sales order
- you post goods issue (if quantity for picking is 0 u2013 no movement in stock) confirmation of service will be created by the system. Now I need to cancel this document.

How to cancel a service order

Hello Expert,
I want to cancel a service order (created via iw31) in status CRTD. Can you please suggest me a BAPI or something like that which help me on this.
I try BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but it' can't be use to cancel service order.
Do we need to confirm a service order than only we can cancel it. I am not very sure but if a SO created by mistake or no more useful. we need to cancel it then why the confirmation required.

There is no requirement for confirmation as far as i know and BAPI suggested is used for cancelling the confirmation of an order ...In your case we want a order to be cancelled but what is that you mean by cancellation is it deletion or logical deletion why can't you change the status to what you want using the BAPI suggested by you and using the appropriate methode available in this BAPI for status change ....provide the status change is permiteed manually ..however CHANGE Change objects and DELETE Delete objects methodes should help you delete the service order which has been created by mistake ....BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT is a must ...
