Hi Experts,
We have a requirement, in the service PO, item cat -D, acct ***- K, When the services tab opens, we want to greyout service rate, we want that the service rate should come from service conditions and users will not have the authorisation to put manual rate.
How to config in spro. full points for helping answers.

Now in the PO service tab Gross pricess showing dispay

PM Operation - Services Tab Layout

All,
In a PM Order, I am trying to maintain the Field layout on the Services tab of the Operation Detail screens when I have the control key set with {X-"internally processed operation/external processing possible"}. With that setting in the control key, the "Gross Price" field is not visible. My objective is to have the field visible, but administering the layout through the transaction is not working.
Is anyone familiar with an IMG Activity that will allow me set the Services tab layout for that control key? It is not in the Operation Detail Filed Selection IMG Activity, and the screen field is "ESLL-TBTWR".

I understand that '' is the external services setting. But why does the 'x' setting change the layout of the services tab to not include Gross Price? The purpose of that 'X' setting is to allow for internal OR external processing. It won't generate a purchase req if the setting is 'x' but I'd expect to be able to enter gross price per unit in the services tab, just like it is for the '' external setting. Or I expect to be able to modify the tab layout.
(both cases the Service box is checked)
Any ideas why i can't change the layout of the services tab? Any ideas why the services tab changes depending on the externally processing option?

Services deleting layout breaks

First off, Pages does not show services in the contextual menu as advertised for Snow Leopard. The services show up in TextEdit when text is selected, but not in Pages. (Except for a few that must be connected by some different mechanism, as they don't show in TextEdit but do show in Pages.) Baffling.
Secondly, when I use a text service via the Pages > Services route, if the text I have selected includes a layout or page break, the breaks are deleted. If the service involves any kind of text substitution, even if it's just "smarten quotes", it will delete all breaks. I have tried both TextSoap and WordServices with same result.
I can work around this by selecting only the text between breaks to run services on, but that means making dozens of manual selections in a document instead of CMD-A, AND I have to go to the Pages > Services menu every time instead of using a right-click popup. Tedious. (Yes, I could assign keyboard shortcuts, but I would never remember them.)
I guess this is feedback, not a question, since I don't really expect anyone knows how to make Pages play nicely with Services. If anybody else is frustrated with this problem, feel free to chime in.

Snow Leopard changed the behavior of Services.
Only those which you choose to display are displayed.
The choice is made from the menu
Services > Services preferences.
I installed some components of WordServices.
This new scheme is really interesting which allow us to work with a Services menu with a reasonable number of items.
As far as I know, Services where never reachable thru ctrl-click (aka right-click).
_Go to "Provide Pages Feedback" in the "Pages" menu_, describe what you wish.
Then, cross your fingers, and wait _at least_ for iWork'10

Working example of WCF Data Services inside Layouts or ISAPI

I have been struggling for hours getting WCF data services to work inside SP2013 Layouts or _VTI_BIN. I create a hello world WCF service like so...

Its like inheriting from DataService causes a .net dll loading problem, it cant seem to find my dll anymore...

also wenn du in Crystal Reports die beiden Tabellen OSCL - Serviceabrufe und SCL5 - Serviceabruf-Aktivitäten verwendest, verknüpft über die callID sollte das doch funktionieren.
Ich sehe den Bereich Details in dem Fall als deinen "Wiederholungsbereich" an.
Wenn du in der Sektion Details bspw. das Feld ClgID - Activity Code reinziehst erscheinen bei mir soviel Aktivitäten wie für den Serviceabruf hinterlegt sind.

Service entry ML81N layout

Hi Expert,
As we know that service entry display (ML81N) consists of column in its line item. Such as short text, gross price, WBS element, cost center, etc. We can configure the layout setting thru the u2018configuration iconu2019 on the upper right corner of the service entry line item (not in SPRO)
Is there any possibility to restrict the setting for service entry layout? Such as authority restriction or else? This matter is become important since any changes that performed to basic setting (administrator) impacts to all users.
And the second one is that if we call another SE number that consists of different account assignment from the first one
(WBS --> Cost center for example). The cost center column will be hidden, i.e. the layout setting will be changed automatically
Is this the standard SAP function? If not, is there anything that we can do to prevent this issue?

How to show product info in the Service Request Detail layout

I want to add product in the Service Request Detail , but can't not find the place to do that , is that possible in R16?

In the service request layout (step 3) you can bring in a field called "Product" which will allow you to pick a product.

Can't see the Presentation menu in order to select the layout of a folder

I have created an external repository manager (of type WebDAV). I want to personalize the presentation of folders by selecting a layout. When I select a specific folder, click on Details->Settings I don't see the Presentation menu action. I see only Properties and Permissions. (Shouldn't I also be able to see Subscription, Versioning action menus?). In the permissions, the group 'Everyone' has full permissions to the folder. Am I missing something?

service permissions (in this example the service permission "Layout") are required only when setting a default depiction for all users. I am trying to personalize the folder only for my user id. According to the documentation, I don't need any service permissions, I need only read permission on the folder (which I do have).
My problem is that when I go to the Details tab for the folder, I don't see any layout profile. Any other ideas?
and by the way, I do not see the menu item Service Permissions when clicking the Settings menu. I have activated the layout and serviceacl services in the KM Repository Manager for the folder.

Service entry sheet - Smartform configuration

Hi,
I need to configure Smartform for the Service entry layout.
Currently I can see that it is only allowing Sap Scripts for this.
Can anyone please let me know on how can I assign smartform to the service entry sheet.

Hi Shahu,
Not all SAP modules have been updated to use Smartforms.
If you prefer to use Smartform rather than copy the standard SAPscript you can take a copy of the standard print program SAPFM11P and take out the parts that call the SAPscript, then replace them with code to call your Smartform.

Intrastat and service

Hi,
materials have the Commodity Code/Import Code Number for Foreign Trade field in material master.
Services have not the above field, so why in SAP for services there is not that field and is this correct for Intrstat declaration ?

Italy requires that service procurment is as well subject to Intrastat.
However SAP designed their service master layout prior to this 2010 requirement of Italy.
And SAP explained in a recently issued OSS note, that it will not take the commodity code from the service master, that you have to code the user exit to get the commodity code for services into the Intrastat report.
SAP had even given an example on the coding in this OSS note.

Edit Service tab Screen settings

Dear experts ,
I want the field "Actual Quantity " to be displayed in the service tab layout .
I am able to make other fields visible n all , but Actual Qty field is skipped by the system .
Pls trell me what coud be the reason ?
All screen settings are fine as i can see that the "invisible tick box " is not marked for actual qty .
Pls help
Is there anyewhete else that i need to make settings ??

Check in ML90 - for field status groups say PT9 (service item), NB (standard PO) or ME21 - in quantity fields - entered quantity is in hidden status? Make it optional and then try.

Customizable folder-layout (Settings)

Hi All,
I have searched for posts, that could belong to my use case, but I couldnt find some.
Use Case: I want an option, so that all portal users could chnage their own folder layout - that is no problem (Details--> presentation).
But in the presentation iView there are two options (1st) Settings for all users (2nd) Settings for you. I think that the 1st-option should only be shown for admin-users, not for normal users. But the normal user, who has permissions to open the details-dialog has also the permission to change the layout set portal wide. In my mind it is dangerous. My question: Can I change the permission, so that the normal portaluser has only read-permissions for the portalwide-layout set and write-permissions for his own behaviour.
Hope someone could help me. really thanks for that.

the default behavior is mentioned in <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/4a/5a899fd6a7364dad14fd5f503f7085/frameset.htm">SAP Help</a>:
<i>All users can personalize the presentation of folders in the Details dialog box. Choose Settings -> Presentation to do this. You can select one of more layout profiles that are graphically depicted using thumbnails.
If you are assigned to the service permission Layout, you can define the folder display not only for your user, but also for all users. However, the other users can override this setting
</i>
So, you need to make sure that the "standard users" have not the service permission "Layout" or "Full Control" (default!)

IW31 printing service order

Hi ,
I am creating order from IW31. For printing Service order layout I have created a custom print program wtih copy of stanard print porgram 'RIPRCT00'.
For printing Purchase order number given in IW31,
select single * from PMSDO where OBJNR = caufvd-OBJNR.
field PMSDO-BSTKD.
When I save Service Order and then print Order field PMSDO-BSTKD, is appering in layout.
But When I tries to print new Service Order (W/O saving)I am not able get any value in same field PMSDO-BSTKD, as it first print and then value is updated to PMSDO table.
Is there any BADI or user-exits present using that I could get the value of screen field for Purchse Order.

I need to print after release.
After pressing the green flag accidentally we have the option not to save.
I thin If i use this user exit order will be printed. But i want to print it after the system status has changed into RELS from CRTD.

I am writing a custom service on SharePoint. I have noticed most of the people do deploy the custom wcf service in layout folder in 12/14/15 hive. I am wondering is it mandatory? Can’t we deploy the custom wcf service that uses SharePoint Object Model as
virtual directory on a specific port?

It is suggested to use WCF in 12/14/15 hive folder due to security and eas in use. Check below

If you want to use the server object model you have to host your WCF service on the same server as your SharePoint is installed on.
If the WCF service has to be on a different server you can use the client object model or the SharePoint webservices to communicate to SharePoint.
