  • Service Procurement Classic - SRM 7.0

    Hi,
I referred the service procurement classic scenario in SRM 7.0 (help.sap.com) but i am still not very clear about the business process.
I understand that this process is used to transfer service PR from ERP system to SRM system for processing.
What is the meaning of " structured service requirements" in ERP ?
Is there any where else i can get more info about this business process and the configuration steps necessary.
    Please help

"Structured" is synonimous with "Hierarchical" in this context. Structured service requirements usually indicate something like Bill of Services that consist of layered services with parent-child relationship. For more information, you could take a look at the release notes for both SRM7.0 and ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4, Chapter 21: Procurement and Logistics Execution (page 31 - LOG_MM_P2PSE_1: Service Procurement Enhancements).

  • Confirmation for Service PO from SRM to R/3

    Hi All,
We are using SRM 3.0, EBP 4.0 ECS and R/3 4.6C.
I have posted confirmations for a Service PO successfully in SRM and a GR and Service Entry Sheet has been posted in R/3 correspondingly. However some of the confirmation results in the status "Currently being transferred" and R/3 does not get updated with GR and Service Entry Sheet.
I have checked that the workflow has processed succesfully and it is in 'Completed" status.
Our observation -  While posting cofirmation for a Goods PO, the GR is posted in R/3 using IDOC. We can trace the same in transaction WE02. While posting confirmation for a Service PO, GR and Service Entry Sheet is posted in R/3, however not sure how this is posted as we are not able to trace any IDOC for a Service PO confirmation.
I need to know how confirmation is posted for a Service PO.
Any pointers to resolve the above issue would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Francis

  • Does SRM SUS support contract negotiation from supplier point of view?

    Dear experts,
could you please share your view on whether SRM sus support contract handling? can a supplier monitor contract fulfillment or potential expiry of a contract from SRM SUS side? can supplier take part in contract re negotiation from SUS side?
As far as I know, SRM 7.01 supports scheduling agreement release in SRM SUS.
Your thoughts will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan

    Dear Sam,
Thanks for the reply. Then, can we enable our suppliers to monitor contract from Supplier Portal in the SRM server itself like the way Suppliers can participate in the bidding in the SRM server? Any thoughts or input will be highly appreciated as my client wants to enable suppliers to monitor expiry of the contracts from their side.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Copy 'Confirmation Name' from SRM Confirmation to R/3 Documents

We're using EBP 4.0 with R/3 4.7, ext. classic scenario.
When confirmations are posted in EBP we want the information entered in the 'Confirmation name' field to be copied to the material document 'Header txt' field and to the service entry sheet 'Doc. text' field (for confirmations to service orders).
We can do it for confirmations to standard orders, using an event to trigger a function module to check for the existence of the matl. doc. and update the field (with MB02).
We're stuck on confirmations to service orders, as the transaction available (ML81) does not allow the 'Doc. text' to be changed.
    Any ideas please ?
    Thanks,
    Tim

I had same requirement and went through many posts on SDN but didnt find a solution. So after some hours of debuggin found following.
This question was asked long back but the information may be helpful for someone like me in future
    So ---
    ·         The Function module      META_SUSCF_SEND is responsible for
    1.       Mapping values from SRM (SUS) internal structures to external structures used in back end ECC(R3)  system
    2.       Call the driver function(BBP_SOAXML1_SUSCF_SEND) to deliver the SUS confirmation data to ECC(R3) system [ havent gone through this module but assumin it does ]
    ·         During the process of creating confirmation supplier will enter a custom text in confirmation field
    ·         In standard scenario the SRM system generated number is available in IS_HEADER-OBJECT_ID and the custom text added by supplier is present in IS_HEADER-REF_DOC_NO.
    ·         the OBJECT_ID field is taken to back end ECC(R3) system as ‘External Number’ in service entry sheet.
    ·         Hence by using an implicit enhancement option in function module ‘BBP_DOCUMENT_TO_EXT_MAPV’ transfer IS_HEADER-REF_DOC_NO to IS_HEADER-OBJECT_ID.
    ·         The enhancement should be restricted to confirmations only so following condition should be checked before data transfer
    Ø       IS_HEADER-PROCESS_TYPE = ‘SUCF’ AND IS_HEADER-SUBTYPE = ‘CF’

  • SRM SUS to ECC throgh PI

    Hi Experts,
I need to develop a scenarion from SRM SUS to ECC through PI.My Requirement is From SUS the invoice is encrypted in a PDF format, PI will decrypt  that and pass the data to ECC.(This is the reqirment).
MY concerns are: 1. Which scenario i need to develop in pi.
    2. Is there any configuration settings are required in pi to convert encrypt to decry pt.
    3. PDF to PDF scenario?
Can you please suggest me on this above requirements
    Warm Regards,
    Bala.

    Hi Ranjan,
As of now without Ehp1, vendors are replicated to backend MM systems using a PI scenario "Supply_base_management".
And you are right, from Ehp1 vendor replication will be handled as you mentioned and ECC Ehp4 will support that.

  • External Service Procurement

    Hello Experts,
What are the various  steps involved in the extrenal service procurement.  ( Creation service order to settlement of the order )?
Accounting entries posted during the each steps in service procurement  ( from the perspective of automatic account determination)?
    Best Regards,

Edited by: sp sap on Oct 20, 2009 1:41 PM

    Hi,
If vendor provides service for you and you can procure the service and pay to vendor.
    The configuration required are:
1.1. Define organization status for service category
SPRO u2013>MM-> ESM->Service master- >Define organization status for service category
    1.2. Define Number Ranges
    SPRO u2013>MM-> ESM->Service master- >.Define Number Ranges
    1.3. Define Service Category
SPRO u2013>MM-> ESM->Service master- > Define Service Category
& you can do assignment of cost object ( cost center, project, sales order) with co.code with G/L account in OKB9 t.code and in t.code OBYC account assignment of WRX with G/L.
*****After above you can create Master data as Service master AC03
    & the transactions are
    A. Create PO in ME21N
When ur creating service PO (ME21N), u have to maintain item Category "D" and an account assignment category as per ur requirement (K or C). U can not enter ur material here only u have to maintain short text of material. Also u have to enter ur material group and plant .This is in item Overview details. In the "Item Details" u enter your service master or activity number u created in Service master then quantities, gross price.
    A. The detail u have enter are:
    a) Maintain Item Category as D
    b) Keep material code field blank.
    c) Enter description of service & other fields in the PO Item Overview level {assignment category as per ur requirement (K or C or P), material group and plant} Press Enter.
    d) System will prompt you to maintain services at Item Level. Maintain your service master number / service description you created in AC03 & other fields (quantity / rate ) and then cost center or sales order number or WBS element.
    e) Save the PO.
    B. Create SES w.r.t. PO in ML81N
    C. MIRO w.r.t. SES
    D. Payment to vendor in F-53
    E. Reports-> Use T. Code MSRV6 and execute it( can use also ML84).You can get actual quantity in service entry sheet. Or got to Display PO (ME23N) and check Purchase Order History and get the details of service details
The Accounting entries( without TAX) are:
    F. SES
        Consumption Trading A/C: Dr
        GR/IR: Cr
    G. MIRO
          GR/IR: Dr
          Vendor A/C: Cr
    H. Payment:
         Vendor A/C: Dr

  • Service Procurement PO Issue in MM-SUS Scenario (SRM 7.0)

    Hi Gurus,
We are facing issue while creating the service purchase order in MM-SUS scenario.
Creating the PO in ECC with Account Category "K" and Item Category "D". (PO should transfer through XML as in XI config v hv used proxies for both ECC & SRM,when creating PO xml not generated in SXI_MONITOR. what is the config required in ECC to generate the XML)
What is the Process of service entry sheet.
    Regards
    Satish

Note 868192 - Consulting solution: MM-SRV-SUS service procurement
A service entry in SUS is transferred to the R/3 system or ERP system using an IDoc after you submit the entry screen. Service entry sheets are created there and they are then available for release. You can perform the service entry in a number of ways:
Service entry of planned services: you can confirm planned services in the service entry in SUS. An overdelivery may occur if quantities are still open.
Service entry using time recording: planned services, for which a time recording is useful, can be split up. Time recording by the hour or by the day is possible.
Service entry for limits: You can use the free-text entry of new items and also the OCI-enabled catalogs to implement limits.

  • Implementation costs SuS-SRM scenario (service procurement/web-based)

    Hi out there,
I am currently trying to rough-estimate the implemantation costs for a SuS-SRM scenario (service procurement - supplier enablement/web-based) with all the components it requires:
software-wise: SRM with SuS and XI would be needed
    Hardware-wise ? (rough estimate)
    Consulting fees ? (rough estimate)
Current facts: SAP Enterprise 4.7 in use
Or maybe somebody can refer me to a SAP price list. I have searched high and low with no positive result. A rough estimate would be good enough.

    Andre

    Dear Emmanuel,
Yes you will not find the Interface mapping after the scenario generation. These SRM scenarios are Proxy communication scenarios and mainly involved with no change in structures.
Regarding the Communication channels, yes you have to create the channels first, before the scenario generation.
The SRM scenarios are mainly used with proxy communication and you have to create channels with adapter type XI.
In your case - the scenario is - Service_Procurement_SupplierEnablement . you have to create two receiver communication channels. this scenario mainly exchanges data between EBP and SUS. the integration happens with the below interfaces-
    InvoiceConfirmation_Out, InvoiceRequest_Out,  PurchaseOrderRequest_Out, ServiceAcknowledgementConfirmation_Out, SupplierPortalTradingPartner_CreateOrChange_Out ,  InvoiceRequest_Out  etc.

  • Service Procurement without SUS

Hi! We are currently running on Extended Classic Scenario. I understand that there are 2 types of service procurement - classic and external staffing. Both talks about the use of SUS which will not support confirmation and invoicing for extended classic scenario (unless some consultancy from SAP). So, my question is whether I can run these 2 service procurement scenarios without the use of SUS? I would assume Yes but just like to get some confirmation here.
    Thanks!
    SF

    Hi Guys,
I would like to know if in SRM 7.0 the new Service Procurement External Staffing scenario would work in the Extended classic scenario implementation? Or is this only supported in standalone?
Do we have to custom build the document exchange between ECC - SRM - SUS for confirmation and invoice documents like in SRM 5.0.    I am searching for a possibilty to let the service agents themselfs fill in the confirmation with the service entry sheet.
If the extended classic scenario is supported then we are quickly done. Other possibility is to let an existing web application (to capture time sheets) generate a XML confirmation message and send this message to EBP via XI. This way the hours can also be captured. Invoicing can then by handled e.g. by ERS.  What do you think?
    Thx.

  • Supplier Self Service (SRM-SUS)

    Hi All,
does anyone have or no of a definite list of which SRM-SUS fucntionality is available in
    Extended Classic Scenario
    Classic Scenario
    Standalone
What I'm trying to find out is which scenarios the following are available in:
PO exchange from EBP to SUS
    Catalogue Content Management via SUS
    Supplier Goods Receipting via SUS
    Supplier Invoice Receupting via SUS
    Cheers
    Chris

    please refer to the follwoing
    ·        The classic scenario
The shopping cart is created and approved in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The remainder of the procurement process takes place in the backend ERP system(s) and all other follow-on documents, such the purchase order, goods receipt/service entry sheet and invoice, are located there. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for the operational procurement business scenarios when buying materials. There is no support for services.
    ·        The extended classic scenario
The shopping cart is created in SAP Enterprise Buyer. The purchase order and follow-on documents are also created there and then replicated to the backend system. The purchase order in SAP Enterprise Buyer is the leading purchase order and cannot be changed in the backend system. Goods receipts and invoices can be pre-entered in SAP Enterprise Buyer or entered directly in the backend system. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have partial supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios. In these scenarios, you have supplier involvement for the purchase order and the purchase order response.
    ·        The standalone scenario
The shopping cart and purchase order are processed directly in SAP Enterprise Buyer. You have no materials management functions in your ERP system and, instead, use those in SAP Enterprise Buyer for all procurement processes. The final invoice is sent to a backend accounting system. With SAP Supplier Self-Services, you have complete supplier involvement for all your operational procurement scenarios

  • MM-SRV-SUS: Setting for Service Procurement SRM7.0 ECC 6.0 Ehp4

    Hello,
I have to implemente the service procurement scenario between MM and SUS.
Can you explain me what are the main settings that I have to make in order to implement the service procurement scenario ?
    It'is very irgent.
    Please help me.
    Good work,
    Michele

    Hi
Follow all the steps given in SRM 4.0 config gidue(plan driven procurement) to set up, make sure all the PI configuration is done.
Following use PI path for replciating the documents from ECC to SUS and vice versa: PO and Service confiramtion rest of them are still on IDOC.
To enable replication of PO and service confiramtion follwoing workflow need to enabled in SWETYPV:
BO BOR object type BUS2012(PO) CHANGED WS3800008
BO BOR object type BUS2012(PO) CREATED WS3800008
Limitation is only free limit PO are replicated to SUS, contract limit and Overall limit is not supported.

  • When service PO is saved no xml generated for MM-SUS Service Procurement

    Hi,
    We have SRM 7.0 & EHP 6.0 (service pack 4) .
The settings are in place as per the below SAP Notes:
Note 1286936 - PI configuration for SRM - additional information
Note 1268336 - Business Suite 2008: Synchronous peer-to peer Services
For Service Procurement (MM-SUS), in XI we have configured Standard Integration Scenario "SE_Services_Procurement" which is available in Integration Repository. (Proxy-Proxy Communication)
We are facing issue while creating the service purchase order in MM-SUS scenario.
PO should transfer through XML as in XI config we have used proxies for both ECC & SRM, when creating PO xml not generated in SXI_MONITOR in ECC.
Please guide the config required in ECC to generate the XML

    Hi Balu,
SAP Note 1268336 - Business Suite 2008: Synchronous peer-to peer Services, configuration in SOAMANAGER that you have done are for
    1. creation of SRM RFx from within the ERP Web Dynpro applicattion "Collective processing of Purchase Requisitions (CPPR)
    2. Central Contract Management (CCM)
This will not help us in enabling service procurement.
Have u found any documentation to enable generation of XML message in ERP once a service PO is generated?
Any progress from ur side? Could u help us with this issue.
    Best regards,
