Service request interactive report is not working with IC Roles

Dear Experts,
We are using CRM 7.0 EHP1, we have created some custom reports based on std service request query, we can able to see these reports in IC_AGENT role as well as ZIC_AGENT role but when we click on these reports nothing is happening. But this is giving desired result in salespro role and other Zroles.
Request your inputs/suggestions.

We have created interactive reports which are working fine and displaying results with a standard business role. However, the report does not even execute when we use a custom business role - no blank screen no error, but the report does not execute at all.
What could be missing ? Need your inputs please.

Compare the profile value for the function profile id REPORTING_PROF in Z business role with your std business role. To check this go to define business roles> select your ZBusiness role>double click on Assign function profiles.

Business Objects 3.1 reports are not working with IE 10.

Hi,
Recently I upgraded my internet explorer to IE10.. Since then business objects 3.1 reports are not opening in IE10.0
Getting error message "webpage can't be found".
I am not sure whether BO 3.1 reports work with IE 10.0 or not.
Please advise

Did you try with other browsers ?
IE 10 (Compatibility View display mode) with Oracle Java 6 / Oracle Java 7 is supported for BOXI3.1 SP6.
Please check the PAM for details of your SP level.

CRVS2010 Beta - Crystal Report does not work with VS 2010

After having installed vs 2010, as mentioned, I dowloaded crsytal report . But when trying to create a new crystal report object, I have a html page displayed but crystal report does not start. I would like to know how to make crystal report start to create new report ?

/SAP/report.do not working with BI 4.0, how to maintain LPD_CUST launchpad?

As confirmed in this thread Re: Configure Publishing to BO BI 4.0,
the way to start Crystal Reports on 4.0 is via the /BOE/OpenDocument path, not via /SAP/reportView.do anymore.
This is fine as long as we are using e.g. the new iViews in the Portal, or any ways which allow us to specify the whole URL and path.
Unfortunately we are using the WebDynpro ABAP launchpad (customizing with LPD_CUST), without the Portal - just using NWBC on ECC. When configuring a link to a Crystal Report, it distinguished between Crystal Reports deployed on BOE vs. Crystal reports deployed on BW. But it uses the old 3.1 path of /SAP/reportView.do
Is there any way to deploy a SAP webapplication on BI 4.0 to make it backwards compatible, or is there a correction planned in the near future for the WebDynpro ABAP launchpad to distinguish between 4.0 and 3.1 links?

Have you gone through this process, me too travelling in the same scenario.
Successfully published the reports in BOE server, but no clue how to view the BOE report in NWBC.
Any assistance would be really helpful.

Web Service Test in SE80 does not work with internal Table

I have created a web server based on a function module. It works fine when the server is invoked from outside (.Net or SOAPUI).
However, when I test it in SE80, (open the Server and then F8), it shows error message:
Access to the table ref. node 'Y02VSI_CAE_CONDITIONITEM' outside a loop
(Germany Zugriff auf den Tabellen-Ref-Node 'Y02VSI_CAE_CONDITIONITEM' außerhalb einer Schleife )
The test xml is generated from SAP, I just fill the data as following:
This XML is absolute correct. Why item ('Y02VSI_CAE_CONDITIONITEM) is outside a loop?
Is it a bug from SAP?

Hi Dianlong,
Please check if SAP note 1132501 is relevant for your ECC release. If you apply the note, you may have to re-generate the web service from the function module.

Enter in search field in Interactive report does not work

APEX 3.2.1
When I type a string in apexir_SEARCH field and clichk on OK button, the report behaves in a correct way - it adds a filter line and does filtering.
When I type a string in apexir_SEARCH field and then <Enter>, nothing happens.
The same behavior in IE9 and Chrome.
Apparently, it's gReport.search('SEARCH') function actioned on apexir_SEARCH's keyup event that is fired, but I don't manage to get further.
I have deleted all non-odp processes and created a test IR page, but there the behavior is still the same.
Any idea what could cause this?

Web Report not working with parameter form

I have a report which has got a parameter form. This report is
running fine in client/server environment. But when I deploy the
same report on web (CGI) using PARAMFORM=YES, I am getting the
parameter form and after pressing the SUBMIT button I am getting
a blank report under the following two cases even though I have
data for that query:
CASE1: <input type="hidden" name="desformat" value="html">
then I am getting the report with no data retrieved.
CASE2: <input type="hidden" name="desformat" value="pdf">
then I am getting completely blank report (no logo, no column
titles, etc.)
See the HTML code below. Remember, the same thing is running
fine in client/server environment. Moreover, if I make a HTML-
coded form for the report then everything on the client's
browser is running fine. But this is not what we want, 'coz we
are running the "BEFORE PARAMETER FORM" trigger in the report.
So, should I conclude that web-reports does not work with the
parameter forms?? Is it a bug???

No pal, that's not the problem. The problem lies with the
"BEFORE PARAMETER FORM" report trigger on the web. Check this
out on ur report server and u will understand my problem.

Our online paychex will not work with Firefox 4. I need to go back to Firefox 3

Carefully clean the disc and try installing again." So this disc went from the box to my computer... should not need to be cleaned, right? Since you have already done some sort of reset on your Airport Express, you might as well make sure it was a "hard reset" - follow the instructions for a hard reset found at:

Since your Mac is running Leopard, you need to configure the Airport Express using the Airport Utility found in the Applictions->Utilities folder. You cannot install the old software that was supplied on the CD you got with the Airport Express.
In future - if you do something bad with network settings on your Mac, do NOT try to fix it with the Airport Utility. The Airport Utility is only used to configure the Airport Express - and since the problem you have created is on the Mac and not the Airport Express, there is no need to be using the Airport Utility and especially there is no need to be resetting the Airport Express.

Crystal report 8.5 export to csv and rtf format not working with office 2013

Crystal report version 8.5 hangs and eventually crash when i export my report to csv or rtf format on windows 7 with office 2013 installed, code is written in VB 6 although the same scenario is working with office 2010 installed.
i debugged the code and found the application hangs at function Report.Export(False).

CR 8.5, being about 15 years old, does not support Windows 7. I am surprised this works for you with MS Office 2010 and to be honest, I'd consider my self lucky there. The fact that is does not work with office 2013... well, like I said, lucky with Office 2010 and your luck ran out with Office 2013.
Your option; rewrite the app in VS 2010 / 2012 / 2013 and use the CR Assemblies for VS .NET from SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET. The CR Java SDK would be another option.
