Service Ticket : Create Follow-Up Transaction

Hi everybody,
I'm facing a problem in creating a follow up transaction in Interaction Center Web UI.
I'm working with Service Tickets, I made the customizing for the copy control to Service Order, and I'm able to create follow-up transaction from SAP GUI. But on IC Web UI , when I click on Create Follow-Up button on Service Ticket's view , I get an info  message that tells me the operation has been created, that's non true!
Please help, thanks in advance,
                                                             Paolo F.C.

Hi Sreekanth,
thank you very  much for your reply!
I'm still not able to produce the follow up Service Order from Service Tiket, I don't see it in the Business Context.
But you helped me anyway, because there I saw the Interaction Record , I  tried to create a follow up Service
Order from it,  and it works!
So probably I made some mistake in customizing, I'll try to compare the copy control of Interaction Record
the one for Service Tiket  to underdstand.
So the question is not answered yet, but I'll give you some points 'cause you helped me!
Greetings,
                           Paolo F.C.

i am able to see in gui but i am not able to see in ic
    Thanks & Regards
    Kishore Kumar

You need to do also this:
    1. Activate Copying Control of Activities
CRM - Transactions - Settings for Activities - Activate Copying Control of Activities
This will cause that only transactions defined in your Business Transaction Profile are visible in dropdown list.
    and...
    2. Define Copying Control of Transaction Types
CRM - Transactions - Basic Settings - Copying Control of Transaction Types - Define Copying Control of Transaction Types
Here select Source Transaction and choose Target Transaction.
    Save and it's done.

  • Create Follow up Transactions

Transaction SLFN have a button for Follow up transactions.
    It consist of
    1) Business activities
    2) Service process
    3) Task
Each of the above have sub activities. We would like to take away some of these business activities from the list.
Where do you customise these settings that show what is available and what not.
    Thank you so much

    Hi Johan,
This could be too old, but we also have the same requirement of disabling some of the entries in follow up transaction sub-activities.
Can you please help me with the solution, if you have resolved this issue.

  • Not able to create Follow up transaction since it has been grayed out

    Hi Experts,
We have a scenario where in we will create the Sales Transactions (OR) in ECC and then it will replicates to CRM.
In CRM we wants to create Returns Order (RE) as a follow up Transaction to OR (which is replicated from ECC to CRM) .
When I tried to create Returns Order (RE) in CRM as a follow up document to Sales Transaction (OR), the follow up Transaction CRM Returns (RE) has been grayed out. I mean it is in display mode only.
And then I created Sales Transaction (OR) in CRM itself and then I tried to create follow up Returns Transaction (RE) I was able to create.
But I am not able to Create Returns Order (RE) for the Sales Transactions (OR) that have been replicated from ECC to CRM.
Can anybody help me in resolving this issue. Any help ful answer will be rewarded with points.
    Thanks in advance,
    -Frederick Johnson.

    Hi Fredrick,
Please check, whether you have completed all the steps for Copying Control for Business Transactions in the following path in IMG:
SPRO->Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying Control for Business Transactions:
    - Define Copying Control for Transaction Types
In this step, you define the control for copying business transaction types.
To do this, you enter a source tranaction type and a target transaction type, and define the corresponding conditions for this combination.
    - Define Copying Control for Item Categories
In this step, you define the control for copying item categories.
To do so, you enter a source item category and a target item category, and define the corresponding conditions.
    - Define Item Category Determination when Copying
In this step, you define a specific item category determination which should be run during copying. The item category is used to find the target item category in the source transaction for the transaction type in the target transaction. This means that the transaction type for the source transaction is not relevant for the item category determination.
If the system cannot find an entry for the copying transaction in this table, the item category is found in the target transaction using the normal item category determination.
    This might help you

  • Can not create follow up transaction FS Quotation from Lead in Interaction

    Dear All,
We have requirement wherein IC agent should be able create FS Quotation (Transaction type FSO1) from Lead transaction type in WEB UI.
I have made all the necessary cutomization for copy control. FS Quotation is also maintained for all chanel.
Its work fine in CRM Online. I can create FS Quotation from Lead transaction type but in WEB UI when I click on Follow up button from Lead transaction pop will appear but I can not see FS Quotation in pop up window.
What I found after investigation is that transaction type with Financial Contract as Leading business category can not be available for follow up from Lead in web ui but available in CRM online. When I change the leading business category to another one same transaction type can be seen for Follow up from Lead in web ui.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion or faced similar kind of issue.

    Hello Pankaj,
Yes, I have discovered this behavior as well. It seems to be documented in SAP Note 1172066. Apparently only the four following category classes are allowed:
    'A' : Interaction Log
    'F' : Appointment
    'G' : E-Mail
    'H' : Task
    Best regards,

  • Limit transaction types when creating follow-up transactions

Hi! We are operating in CRM 5. We have a requirement to only display certain tasks when creating followup document from an existing activity. Now, I thought that the copy control configuration would do the trick but I still see a big list of tasks, activities and sales transaction types appearing on the screen (as good as creating a new independent document). Can someone please confirm whether this requirement is at all possible in CRM 5?
    Cheers!
    SF

    Hi,
We had a similar requirement. We used implemented CRM_ORDER badi and used the method ENQUEUE.
We wrote  a logic to check the object type and process type of the transaction and also its doc flow.
If there is no doc flow available a logic is written to throw an error message as no standalone document can be created.
You can try implementing this badi and write a code in it.
Also you can throw custom message if user tries to created standalone orders.

  • Get specialist assigned to a service ticket

    Hi group,
I have a requirement wherein I need to know the <b>specialist information</b> who is assigned a particular <b>service ticket</b>. I can have specialist group info from FM CRM_ORDER_READ but I need to know that specific specialist who gets the service ticket.
<b>Reward points assured for helpful answers.</b>
    Regards,
    Amit

    Hi Amit,
You can create the Partner Function as Specialist and assign that in the service Ticket.
No to see which specialist is assigned the particular service ticket, go to the transaction monitor " CRM_SRV_MONITOR" put the parter function as specialist, give the partner number, system will give relevant service ticket attached to  that particulat person.

  • Problem with follow-up transaction from task

    Hello,
I have a problem with creating follow-up transaction from tasks. Here is the problem,
I've defined two new transaction types Z010/Z020 with business transaction category BUS2000125 TASK and I want to be able to create follow-up transaction from them. After defining them I've mapped the copying control so that I'm able to create opportunities, tasks and leads from those transaction types. However, when I'm testing there is a problem. Here are the steps I'm performing:
1: I'm creating a new Task from any of those two transaction types (Z010/Z020)
2: I'm saving the transaction and then I save it.
3: Open the transaction More -> Create follow up
4: A pop-up window appears with the possible follow-up transactions (in this case task/opportunity or lead).
5: I click on any of those but nothing happens - no indication of error or whatsoever the screen just stays the same and I'm able to click on More -> Create follow up and choose any of the possible entries. However, there is no result.
I have a requirement for follow up transactions from opportunities and everything works just fine there, the problem is only with Tasks. I've tested this from the backend (CRMD_ORDER) and I'm able to create a follow-up from this transaction types (Z010/Z020), so the problem seems to be something with the CRM UI. If any of you have an idea why is this happening and how to fix it, please tell.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi John,
Please refer as well to note 661305:
    this part:
    Note:
As of CRM 7.0, this modification is no longer required because the IMG
activity "Activate Copying Control for Activities" is provided (maintaining the
table/view CRMC_ACT_COPY_SW in transaction SM30). Here you can decide whether
the copying control for activities and tasks (BUS2000126 and BUS2000125) is
active or inactive depending on the specific client.
    IMG path
    (transaction SPRO):
    Customer Relationship Management
    -->
    Transactions
    --> Settings for Activities
    --> Activate Copying
    Control for Activities
In the standard system, the copying control for
    tasks and activities remains inactive.

  • Follow-up transactions in IC Webclient

We have a requirement to create follow-up transactions for sales document types (ex. standard order from an inquiry or quotation) in IC Webclient.
We looked at the IC Webclient and found that there is a possibility to create follow-up transactions only from the interaction record.
The copy controls are done and we can create follow-up transactions in SAP GUI.
Does anyone know how to create a follow-up transactions for any sales transaction type and how to provide such a facility in IC Webclient?
    thanks a lot.
    Sam

We have the scenario where we make follow-up transactions in the IC Webclient from a standard order to a return order for example. This is no standard functionality in the IC webclient and has been custom programmed by ECENTA a german SAP partner. It uses the standard copy control. The main issue was to get the document flow correct.

  • Follow up transaction - date routine IPM002

    Hi everyone,
I have the following requirement : When creating a follow up transaction from transaction A, I need some dates (the date that are the same on both date profile) to be copied.
Then, in the customizing "Define Copying Control for Item Categories" I have added routine IPM002 from transaction A to B. I have seen that this standard routine is supposed to copy the dates...
However this does not copy the dates.
Do I need to customize something else for the copying routine to work?
Thanks a lot for your help,
    Regards,
    Anaïs

    Hi everyone,
I finally found the issue but cannot understand why it's happening.
When creating follow up transaction, item INVESTIGATION is not copied into the targeted transaction.
However, I do have my customizing point Copy Control for item updated with both transaction.
If I do it manually in crmd_order, the system offers to copy the item and thus, dates are copied. If I do it via web_ui, I think a new item is created and indeed, dates are not copied.
Would anyone know how to copy item from a transaction to a targeted transaction? Is there another customizing point than Copy Control?
    Thanks a lot,
    Anaïs
