I also have 1.8+ GB charged to my allowance that I don't understand at all how it is mine because the highest I've ever logged at any given time has been barely 0.5 GB. I'm cruising along at .04-.07 GB and all of a sudden appears a 1.8+ GB deduction/usage and it makes me wonder what the ???? is going on. Is Verizon posting fraudulent usage amounts just to drive up my usage so I have to buy more Gigs?

The time is not the time of actual use, but the time a tower reports the use. The data would have been used anytime prior to that time. Usually, but no always, the usage happened between the time prior and the time reported.
For example:
9:00 AM   1.23 MB
7:05 AM   0.01 MB
1:15 AM 350.03 MB
8:00 PM   23.89 MB
This does not indicate 350 MB was used at 1:15 AM. It really tell you 350 MB was used sometime between 8:00 PM and 1:15 AM.
The times are local time zone as far as I can tell.

Sorry why do you need a Data Processing Extension for that? Cant you directly call the procedure
from SSRS dataset? Whats the RDBMS which holds this procedure?

BAT 5.1(4) won't update phones using a custom file

Hi all -
I'm trying to use BAT 5.1(4) to change the device pool of a number of 7912 handsets on CCM 4.1(3) using a custom file with a list of the extensions affected. I set the query up and it works fine, but when I then try to change the device pool and update the phones the status window flashes up very briefly but the changes are not made.
Trying to make the same change using a custom query works with no problems, but I don't fancy doing this for 51 non-sequential extensions! Anyone had a similar problem?

BAT , the configuration is actually done on the profile that is associated to update the phone, not the BAT CSV

Updating JTree Using a Custom TreeModel

Hello,
I have created a custom TreeModel that implements the TreeModel interface. The underlying data objects are stored in an existing tree structure similiar to a file/directory filesystem. When I add a new "file" object to the data model, I want to see it in the tree immediately. To make a long question short: what are the necessary steps to communicate with the JTree? Any info or references would be much appreciated.

I don't know how to do this by just implementing
TreeModel. This is using DefaultTreeModel.Yeah, I really don't want to use DefaultTreeModel because I would have to wrap my data objects as TreeNodes. Since my data objects are already in a tree structure, implementing TreeModel is much cleaner.
It looks like I have to implement fireTreeNodesInserted() in my TreeModel, but I guess what I need to understand is how to register the JTree as a listener to my custom TreeModel. JTree doesn't directly implement TreeModelListener. I read somewhere that JTree automatically registers itself with the TreeModel, but that is not what I am observing.
So..., I am still in need of more info.

Updating foriegn trade/ custom data

I know it gets populated from the material master, but the requirement is like, Country of Origin is sent by an external vendor through an excel sheet. And we need to update it. We have already tried various options. But the only option now left is if we can update the field through any FM.

Problem importing two service interfaces using the same data types

Hi,
I've been playing around with BPM for a while. Now I wanted to add a custom service interface to my starting event. I created the interface in ESR of CE 7.11. After importing I get this error message and I can't use the interface:
Cannot change XsdSimpleTypeDefinition AcademicTitleCodeContent by importing the document http://sap.com/xi/APPL/SE/Global::src/wsdl/TestInterface.wsdl, because it is already defined in the document http://sap.com/xi/APPL/SE/Global::src/wsdl/rootwsdl_CustomerERPByIDQueryResponse_InService.wsdl in this project. Importing into another project might be possible.
Of course the problem is clear, but how can I achieve importing two service interfaces that use the same data type without changing the xsd source?

Sorry for the late answer, but I am really busy at the moment.
Unfortunately I can't the Interface and data types are already changed.
But this happened various times. Each time I already had imported a SAP Enterprise Service into NW BPM that contains a bunch of inline data types. While creating my own interface I referenced one of those data types that are stored in a SAP namespace. After import the error message appeared.
In the wsdl of the created interface there is a import statement for the namespace where the referenced data types origin from. Additionally there is a namespace definition xmlns:p1="SAPnamespace". In the element the type is "p1:ReferencedType". Could this maybe cause the error, because one time it is with this leading p1 in my created wsdl and once without in the SAP Service wsdl?

How do I use hotmail via Blackberry services and not via phone network so not using up my data?

I have a new Blackberry 9360 and am having trouble with it. They said in the shop that I can access my yahoo mail without using up my 250mb of internet data, so can access it using the Blackberry services rather than the internet. I can't work out how to do this and can only seem to use the email through the internet where the messages come into my 'Messages' on the 'Home' screen, therefore I'm using up my data every time I open an email message when it comes in.
Can anyone please help me as I'm wishing I could go back to Nokia at the mo!

They gave me the impresssion in the shop that I could access my existing yahoo hotmail, send and receive messages on it for free via the BlackBerry services and not use up my data allowance and they didn't mean the Blackberry email which is a different thing. Have they misled me with this?

How to Test SSRS Custom Data Extension in TSql

I have created a custom data extenstion for SSRS 2008 Reporting Service.
I can test the CDE in the Report DataSet -> DataSet Properties -> Query Designer -> Run Query.
In the Command Text I pass parameters to the invoked VB code which is of type "BaanstedeCds" then name of my custom data extension.
I can even Attach the Visual Studio VB Code Project that is invoked by the Query Designer an debug the code.
The custom data extension works perfectly in SSRS.
However I have not found a way yet to run BaanstedeCds (with a parametertext) from within SSMS 2008 by using an T-SQL statement!!! Is there a way to use the SSRS Custom Data Extension in Sql Server Management Studio using the dataset type I used in
SSRS 2008?
Because I am leaving the path of using Custom Assemblies in SSMS, for deploying an testing that way is undoable for me.
I is to complicated and in order to properly debug these routines the entire solution of multiple projects is deployed each time even the slightest change has been made to the VB code. Also if I want to deploy from Test to Production it is very hard. I have
to detach the databases etc, ect. Note my previous question about this subject that remained unanswered!!!
Using the Custom Data Extension the problems are a lot less. However I how do I use a routine in the CDS in T-SQL, like I could invoke a routine in the Custom Code Assemblies?
I "hate" CLR routines. I have extreme trouble managing these CLR's as I explained in my post and other posts in the past.
You just cannot build a maagable system that way.
I had to convert all the CLR's (I had a lot of them) to Custom Data Extension Functions, as they do not have all the drawbacks of CLR's.
And using the CDE with all the converted CLR's in it works much better for me in the Report Manager.
However in order to test de CDE I must invoke the CDE in a Windows Form something like this:

Checkboxes and Custom Data Objects

I'm trying to create a form with a list of checkboxes based on customers' interests - there's 8 in all and they can select multiple options.
What I want to do is to create shared lists for each option which will serve as a segment members for future mailings.
I also need to hold the data for that individual together so if I ever need to, I can go in and say 'Well, Joe Bloggs here is interested in X, Y and Z so I'll put him into campaigns A and B'.
Are Custom Data objects the way to go? I've had a go at creating one and mapping it, but I don't know what to do with these checkboxes!!

For the shared list, simply use the "Add to Shared Contact List" processing step for your form and make it conditional on the box being checked. You'll need 8 of these steps, one for each option.
For keeping the data, I would use a Custom Data Object. Create a new CDO set with a field for the email address and one for each of your checkboxes (plus whatever other info you want, of course.) And then use the "Update Custom Data Object - With Custom Values" processing step. You can set this step to add a "yes" or "on" or whatever else you'd like to the appropriate field in the CDO. Again, make this step conditional on the checkbox being checked in your form. Again, you'll need to create 8 of these steps, but once you get the first one done, the others should go quicker.
PS, I kept typing "from" instead of "form." Argh.

How to get planning function in customized data slice?

we are using a customized data slice which implements IF_RSPLS_DATASLICE. Now we have the requirement that the data slice only protects the data when it calls via query. The data slice will not protect data if a planning function is executed. How can we implement this requirement? Is it possible in the method IF_RSPLS_DS_METHODS ~ IS_PROTECTED to read this information from an instance of the planning function (CL_RSPLS_CR_CONTROLLER?) or the buffer or something else? Or can we find some information about the query?
At the moment we only check if a planning sequence is called by a process chain. This works fine
IF sy-batch IS NOT INITIAL.

I think this topic was already discussed in this forum.
By design, it should not matter whether a query or a planning function is not allowed to change records. This is what data slices were designed for.
OK, you need a different behaviour.
1. Maybe you can detect from the planning function filter or query filter whether you run function or a query. If this is the case use the method IS_OVERLAPPING of the data slice. There you get the filter as a I_TSX_SELDR or as a range table when you call SELDR_TO_RANGE. When you return r_is_overlapping = rs_c_false. the data slice will not be called.
2. Another option is to call the factory of the data slice and to use a flag in the data slice that indicates that the data slice is used in the context of a planning function. The factory method is GET_INSTANCE. Set a break point there to find out how the system calls this method. But when to call the factory? Check note 1101726. This note provides infrastructure to change the filter of a planning function at run time. But you can use this exit to call the factory method mentioned above. The nice thing is that you can raise the excpetion EMPTY in the exit, thus the function will not be called. So use a planning sequence with dummy1, your function, dummy2. For dummy1 switch on flag on, raise EMPTY, dummy1 will not be executed (almost no run time is needed), then 'your function' will be called (do nothing in the exit', then function dummy2 will be called, here switch the flag off again.

Different calendar styles: seeded vs. custom date fields

All,
In several reports we prompt users to select an opportunity close date (seeded date field) that is within a given period of interest using a prompt on the close date field. The calendar style provides two buttons to select the starting and ending points. Then the user must select the refresh link to narrow the date range and then pick the first and second dates. This requires five clicks. Users find this cumbersome.
In contrast, we have a couple of reports that use a custom date field and users are prompted to select a beginning and end date. For this custom date field the calendar style provides a calendar button that allows you to directly select the first and second date without having to filter the range of possible dates. This is obviously only two clicks and is preferred by users.
Does anyone know how to get the "nice" date picker to apply to seeded date fields as in the first case?

How do I pass a custom data type to a dll in TestStand?

I need to add a new feature / function to an existing TestStand program. The original program uses a custom data type for the LabVIEW VISA (serial com) reference, as shown below. I want to use the StationGlobals.VISA_Ref in my call to the dll.
The VI prototype is shown below. The VISA Ref In is a basic VISA reference control (serial comm) from LabVIEW. Nothing special.
I am stuck at trying to figure out how to configure the VISA Ref In parameter... I've searched this forum and the only posts which seem close to what I am attempting to do did not have any responses... I hope to be "luckier"..

I tried something similar to what you described.... unfortunately, TestStand is holding on to the serial port and has not let go yet... Which causes a run-time error within the LabVIEW code (dll) because the resource it is trying to use (COM port) is not available...
I will check the code and see whether they use the serial port after it gets to the new feature... Otherwise, I may close the port, use it within LabVIEW (dll), close it and then re-open within TestStand... That's why I wanted to pass the reference directly... Although, the way you describe it, it may be possible to pass that same reference indirectly and get the dll to work without having to play with closing / opening references. I'll explore that tomorrow.

Can I Use any iTunes music in personal business ads?

I made a iMovie trailer ad for my photography website using only my own photos. I was questioned re: the song I played part of in the background. Honestly, it was a good challenge because I did not have any knowledge whether or not I can use any or all of what I download from iTunes as ad music. In reality, I'm pretty sure I cannot. DRM only refers to syncing my own devices. So, can I use any of iTunes music in online ads? Paid different than free music? Thanks
