ServiceGrid Minor-Release 6.11.1

Enhancements requested by customers:
DE478 : Additional french translations
BugFixes:
DE491: When switching into listview of the dashboard and afterwards switching main menue (tab) an java script error was thrown in the leftview. Afterwards portal was broken.
DE471: ChangePassword.jsp has a bug - it cannot be compiled. This error occured when user was being forced to change his/her password.
DE472: With deployment of 6.11.0 there was a strange behaviour of CallDetail windows. When you hide LeftView and then open a call (portal style) from a list (portal-style) the window looked like `miniicon`.

For the record, managed to sort this out. The upgrade had moved the emkey.ora file (which the documentation warns can happen) so a broader search located it. I was then able to follow the "emctl status emkey" instructions for reconfiguring it (-force required); start/stop the dbconsole; secure dbconsole; start dbconsole and EM is back online.

The ASC fix for ASC-3414 resulted in a correction of the behavior of E4X filter expression evaluations, but we don't want to introduce this change in a Flex 3.0.x minor release. So I'm reverting this fix from the 3.0.x branch of ASC and checking in a new 1.4 downgraded asc.jar to reflect the change. This will be merged to other Flex 3 branches such as 3.0.3 and 3.1.0, but will not be merged to trunk.
The change in behavior was noticed for Flex 3.0.x when a asc.jar was updated in revision 2108, and re-applied in revision 2129. Reverting this fix will resolve bug SDK-15924.

  • Cisco Prime Optical Major/Minor releases

    Hello.
A Cisco Prime Optical upgrade from version 9.6 to 9.8 is considered a minor or a major upgrade?
    Thanks,
    João.

Major upgrades are generally considered changing the number to the left of the decimal place. The first ordinal to the right (i.e. .6 to .8) would thus be a minor upgrade.

  • Firefox 5 was released. But i dont know that what is new in this compared to firefox 4.0.

    I didn't see anything new.

Think of Firefox 5.0 as both a security update in place of 4.0.2 and having had some work done also, something that minor releases generally do not get.

See the "What's New in Firefox" section.

  • Why is 2.0.1 so bad.. Isnt this tested before release...

How can it be so bad for such a minor release.
It now takes much longer to do simple tasks.. seems that switching apps is slower. Backing up is taking significantly longer also...

Seems it is the complete opposite for the majority, but as with any major update, it won't be good or without problems for 100% which is impossible regardless how much testing is done. And yes updates are tested, but many more variables now with different 3rd party applications, etc.
    Have you tried a Restore?

  • MSI installer for the latest Adobe Reader XI releases

Hey. I had a bad problem in installing Adobe Reader XI. I checked the forums and I read this topic "http://forums.adobe.com/message/5230859" which was really helpful. But the real program is that the MSI package is only aviable for the 11.0.00 version and as you all know the 11.0.03 is already released and I want it but it doesn't have a MSI package, neither does 11.0.02 version or 11.0.01 version so where can I find the MSI packages for the latest releases.

This release is the Linux Tools contribution for Luna SR2.

corresponds to build 67 in Hudson's linuxtools-luna job.

    Hi Jeff,
do you know why there is no 3.2.0 release on official Eclipse Linux Tools archive page (http://archive.eclipse.org/linuxtools/) or who maintains this?
    Thanks a lot,
    Sanda

  • Kuler and Flash releases

Our web design lecturers like kuler. Our web deisgn students
    like kuler. I like kuler.
BUT we all get annoyed when kuler stops working because the
Flash release is a few minor releases out of date (10.0.12 instead
of 10.0.22) - it is non-trivial to upgrade 120+ to the new Flash
    player every couple of months.
So could kuler be made backward compatible with a few
    previous Flash releases at least.

Hello, welcome to kuler. For specifics on using kuler with
    CS2, please see kuler help
    here.

  • Which release of Administration Workshop I should I chose to pass 1z0-042?

    Hello!
I want to take the 1z0-042 exam, and OTN say that I can prepare for it by myself through "Oracle Database 10g: Administration Workshop I ",but I find a lot releases of Administration Workshops as below:
    Oracle Database 10g R2: Administration Workshop I D17090GC30 (Spiral-bound) Publisher: Oracle University (2004) ASIN: B000T6M9X6
Oracle University Oracle Database 10g R2: Administration Workshop I VOLUME 1 ONLY D17090GC30 (Spiral-bound) Publisher: Oracle University (2004)
    ASIN: B000T6KJCY
    Oracle Database 10g Administration Workshop I D17090GC30 Edition 1 (2004)
    D339126 - Oracle Database 10g: Administration Workshop I (Vol. 1)
    D339127 - Oracle Database 10g: Administration Workshop I (Vol. 2)
So,which one should I choose?Or if you have got a right release of it,it's very kind of you to send it to my EMail [email protected]
    Thank you very much!

    Oracle Database 10g R2: Administration Workshop I
    - The course is D17090
    - The language code is GC (General Curriculum/English)
    - The revision is '30' (major release 3, minor release/patch 0)
The course is an instructor-led week long course. It has labs based on a specific setup and uses 2 spiral bound books, Volume 1 and Volume 2
The books are copyright by Oracle and electronic distribution is illegal.
    as
The exam takes information from the course material found in both volumes, as well as material from successful completion of the labs. Reading from the student books may not be sufficient to pass the exam.
A better way to pass the exam is to
    a) take the course, either in class or self study CD; or
    b) chose one of the related exam-cram books such those listed here
