Services created with WSADMIN and SOAMANAGER
Hello gurus!
Ihave a question about the WS created in the transaction SOAMANAGER. we have 5 webservices to operate our system, 4 of them were created with WSADMIN and one with SOAMANAGER. The problem is that in EPP we only can download the WSDL of the WS created in SOAMANAGER, and the other four cannot be found. Do we need to re-create them in SOAMANAGER in order to get them in EPP??

Hello,
For old Web service definitions, if you have created End Points using WSCONFIG, you do not need to recreate it in SOAMANAGER. In WSADMIN, once you place cursor on your service, you can download WSDL using WSDL icon in Application Tool bar.

1. I have changed billing plan date for 1st line item ,then simultaneously system was adding one more line item in billing pan with -ve value.
2. I have changed the billin plan in rest of the 3 line items then simultaneously system is adding one more line item but WITH POSITIVE VALE.
Can anybody tell me beacuse of why system is creating one line item with -ve value and rest of the line item with positive value?
which functionality or behaviuor of contract with priodic billing plan, is this happening in a system?

My website created with Iweb and hosted on mobileMe is not uploading well on all computers. What could be the problem ?
I got a chance to look at it on a PC. Totally hosed up. It loads incorrectly then parts of it go blank.
I have a site that is based very much on one of the built-in templates and it works fine on the same PC. It contains only text boxes, image placeholders, and images with "picture frame" borders. Nothing fancy, no overlays, no extra code or anything. I haven't looked much at the other templates so I don't know if yours is mostly a template or how much you may have modified one or what tricks you may have done to get the look you wanted. Whatever it is, IE does not like it. Unfortunately, you can't really ignore them as was suggested; they make up a large part of your audience. -
How do I delete sites created with iWeb and posted with .mac after a format
I am confused about how to delete a couple of sites that I created with iWeb and posted with my .mac after I did a format reload?
I have tried everything. The original files are not on my MacBook Pro because of the format.
I also see them in my idisc, but I is my understanding that on my MacBook Pro that I can delete the files, but they are hosted online. On the online idisk I cannot delete them because there is no option. Please help!!!Using the file menu in Finder:

Highlight selected files and Command/Delete. You will receive a drop down asking you if you are sure; click OK and the files/sites will be deleted immediately from the iDisk.

Services servers with CNAME and kerberos
Hello.
My problem:
I have an OD master xserver1.mydomain.com and an other server xserver3.mydomain.com.
My DNS is OK direct and reverse, authentication works fine.
My problem is that I want use CNAME for my services offered by xserver3.mydomain.com. (imap, pop, smtp and others).
So I have some CNAME entries in my DNS as imap.mydomain.com, pop.mydomain.com, smtp.mydomain.com which all point to xserver3.mydomain.com therefore:
host imap.mydomain.com gives 10.1.0.10 and host 10.1.0.10 gives xserver3.mydomain.com (all is regular).
When I connect my mail client, if I set the "incoming mail server" to xserver3.mydomain.com, kerberos authentication is OK (TGT and SGT are brought) and mail works fine.
If I connect my mail client with "incoming mail server" set to imap.mydomain.com (the CNAME), kerberos authentication is not OK (TGT is brought but not SGT) and mail does not work.
If I connect my mail client with "incoming mail server" set to imap (CNAME without domain name), kerberos authentication is nearly OK (TGT and SGT are brought)) but mail is very slow and some mail folder sync does not seem to work!
I have tried to remove imap service principals on my mail server imap/[email protected] and create new imap service principals with CNAME as : imap/[email protected] but it doesn't work.
Any idea to do?Thanks for reply.
Ok for RFCs but my mail server work very fine for long years with client set with server CNAME. Even certificates are OK if the common name is this one given as CNAME.
Th only problem I have kerberos as explained.
I search for the way to have friendly services name for my mail clients and in the same time keep all functionalities (SSL and kerberos).
Maybe with multiples ip for the same network interface on my mail server and an A entry for each? -
Metadata created with OEM and OLAP2 views
Why metadata created with OEM (v 9.2.0.1.0) aren't visible in OLAP2 views?
Cubes are visible only in OLAP_CUBES, and OLAP1_CUBES views only.
"Oracle9i Users Guide" says, that OLAP2 views shows metada created either with CWM2 and OEM, but i don't see the ones created with OEM.
And second question - has that issue something to do with the problem that i don't see cubes with "cube viewer" (and any other OLAP API application like OracleBI Spreadsheet Add-In)? I got error message BIB-10701.
I use Oracle 9.2.0.6.0 with OLAP option.
RafI know it is an old thread, but I thought I post the solution anyway ;-)

Time stamps in mov files created with iPhone and Vista
This has to do with the time stamps for movies created with the iPhone 3GS. When I directly view the files on the iPhone in Vista, it populates the "date taken" field. However, when I copy the files from the iPhone onto my desktop computer, I no longer see the "date taken" field. Any suggestiosn?

Profiles created with SU02 and transporting them
We have a lot of profiles that were created with SU02.
When I change them in our Development system and then create a transport and move the transport to our quality system and our production system the changes do not get updated.
I manually go to each system with SU02 and make the changes again and activate them.
Is there another way or am I missing something.

The TCD field isn't causing confusion. Look to the left at that Z:MC40 or whatever. That's the auth object, which has a field called TCD. In other words, there isn't S_TCODE with field TCD, there's this Z:MC40 or whatever, with field TCD and the tcode in that filed is MC40 or whatever.
Anyway, if I go through my data for S_TCODE, then I find that in the profile, it refers to the following. Note that these are the only two profiles in my UST10S table that refers to S_TCODE. I need to figure out how to reconstruct the rest of the profiles into roles so that the unlimited access in these profiles below can be removed and the balance of the profiles can be given relevant transactions.

Service created with New-Service does not start
Hello,
I am trying to create a working service using the New-Service cmdlet. I tried a bunch of different examples, I found on the internet like this one from technet:
new-service -name TestService -binaryPathName "C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs" -dependson NetLogon -displayName "Test Service" -StartupType Manual -Description "This is a test service."
The service gets created and is listed in services.msc and Get-Service but I cannot start it. Ever. The state changes to "Starting" but that's all.
I tried it on different machines with different Windows- and PowerShell versions using elevated PS-consoles.

I tested on my client, and I also keep getting the error 1053, which indicates timeout and the new created service can not be started during the limit time, so you can try to change the service time limit, please note this needs to change registry value,
Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems:
In Registry Editor, locate, and then right-click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
a.Point to New, and then click DWORD Value. In the right pane of Registry Editor, notice that New Value #1 (the name of a new registry entry) is selected for editing.
b.Type ServicesPipeTimeout to replace New Value #1, and then press ENTER.
c.Right-click the ServicesPipeTimeout registry entry that you created in step c, and then click Modify. The Edit DWORD Value dialog box appears.
d.In the Value data text box, type TimeoutPeriod, and then click OK

Gateway Service Create with Multiple Line Items

I observed that you can create an entity in gateway with only a Flat structure, no nested structure or a structure with an internal table is not supported. As i have a requirement of creating a purchase order with multiple items through a create call in gateway service.how do i achieve this.Can any one provide me some direction.

In your case Purchase Order header will be an Entity and Purchase Order Line item another entity. You define relationship between them using Associations and Referential Constraints.
For fetching both at a time, you need to use a '$expand'. For creating both at a time, you use 'Deep Insert'.
I would suggest you to go through odata.org and search these concepts.

Enabling Windows services, creating a PDC and a BDC
Hi all,
We have an existing ODM here running 10.4.11. It is also acting as our PDC. We have a single windows client running XP Pro SP2 and was able to join the domain just fine. I have another windows client running XP Pro SP2 on VMWare Fusion 2. I cannot join this domain. I get an error message that the username cannot be found when trying to join the domain using the directory admin's credentials.
I am also trying to set up another xserve on 10.4.11 as a BDC to this domain. I have already configured it as an ODR. When trying to promote the server from standalone to BDC, I try authenticating as the local admin and get the following error message: "Error while writing setting (Unable to authenticate with the user name and password)." When trying to promote it using the directory administrators credentials I get the following error message: "Error while writing settings (Unable to join the domain)."
Please let me know what log files or conf files I'll need to post in order to help me out better. I do not have much experience with Samba administration so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I am authenticating with a Directory Administrator. SSH is enabled on the ODM. The ODM is also providing DNS. sudo changeip -checkhostname on the ODR (mackintosh) yields:
Primary address = 192.XXX.1.XX
Current HostName = mackintosh.mnn.org
DNS HostName = mackintosh.mnn.org
The names match. There is nothing to change.
I can do forward and reverse lookups of the server from any workstation in the office. I made sure that the ODM's IP (primary DNS server) is listed in network prefs. There is an A and PTR record for this server in DNS.
The only other service this computer is running before I attempt to promote to ODR is AFP.

Can a PDF template be created with editable and non-editable areas?

Sorry - probably a bit of a newbie question but i can't find an answer to this anywhere. Hope i'm also posting in the most relevant forum - apologies if i'm not.
I have been asked by a client if i can create (from an existing illustrator CS4 file) a PDF template with restricted editable areas - two to handle text for email and physical address and one to allow logos to be swapped. All other items and text need to be locked. Is it feasible to create this from the Illustrator file (or InDesign, Acrobat Pro etc) and if so how? and what software would the client need in order to do the edits and then save as a final version for print?

I ended up chanigng the numeric field to a decimal field instead, and added the following display pattern: num{zzzz9.99'%'}
So although the user can't enter a % symbol into the field, a % symbol automaticaly populates when the user enters a number.
My criteria involved ensuring that a user could not enter a number with more than two numbers after the decimal, so I also set a trailing digits max of 2 (in the Obect > Field settings)
This is the FormCalc formula I used in the "calculate" event to calculate the salary increase amount request: (DecimalField1 * NumericField2) *.01 + NumericField2
This formula is meant to calculate the salary amount a manager is requesting their employee's salary be increased to. -
I have created a web page with a photo gallery of thumbnails that link to bigger images when you hover over them. When the bigger image opens there is an odd shape at the bottom right hand side , that when pressed, will take me back to the home page. But its not the correct sought of button or symbol. I dont know how to set this up properly. I have linked J.Query style sheets. But must have missed something. Can anyone help??? this is my first web page design. It is all done except for this.

The GetSQLValueString() function has always existed in Dreamweaver server behavior code. However, versions of this function prior to Dreamweaver 8.0.2 are vulnerable to SQL injection.
Unfortunately, you can't update older server behaviors simply by deleting the old version of the function and replacing it with one from DW 8.0.2 or later. Other small changes were made in the server behavior code for compatibility with the revised function. PHP server behaviors created prior to DW 8.0.2 need to be deleted and rebuilt. Yes, it's a pain, but far less of a pain than being hacked. -
How I remove previous MC created with createmovieClip() and attachMovie()

i have another problem today, :-)
my little application contain a combobox and a MC "filmstrip" in my _root. the combobox work with an xml file containing links to other xml files. Inside my MC "filmstrip" i have a script loading with a for loop the xml file selected in the combobox on the _root .
In this loop i createEmptyMovieClip an attachMovies with the data of the xml selected.
evrything works exept that evrytime i change my selection in the combobox it load the data on top of the previous load.
I would like to delete the previous load before load the new one... if someone can help me???
On my scene 1st frame i have only a code for scroll the movieclip filmstrip but i think is not nescessary that i show it.

Difference between PO created with reference and without reference(CIN)
Dear Experts,
I am working on CIN. I had created a PO(PO # A) and it perfectly captured an Excise invoice(J1IEX_C). I tried to create another PO(PO # B) with same details like Material, Plant, Vendor, everything else remains same, but this time I was not able to capture excise invoice. Under J1IEX_C I am getting an error "Excise Details are not maintanied for Vendor 20033525. Message no. 8I565"
I again created new PO(PO #C) with reference to PO # A(copy) and for this PO I could capture Excise invoice for PO # C.
I am confused why is this happening, as my vendor is same in all the cases.

Genrally it should not happend like that. check the vendor details in j1id ? make sure give all details means each and every field.
your using ecc6 and updated new support pack then you have to fill all the coloums in ji1d vendor detials.
so your taking the ref of old po system not asking the details.
