Services missing for DUET Configuration

Hi all,
In configuring DUET Enterprise, certain services are missed out which are required for completing the configuration. The missed services are :
/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/saml2
/sap/public/mysssocnt
/sap/bc/srt/pm
In SICF tcode, when I see the above services, Iam unable to find out.
Can anybody clear me that, for these services, we need to install certain patches or any other alternative is there to get these services.
Thanks & Regards,
Kris

Hi Holger,
Thanks for your reply.
As mentioned in chapter 3.3.2 Configure the Service Provider for StarterServices Endpoints for duet Enterprise.
We need to perform some steps on the SAP system on T.code: soamanager.
while performing step number 9 on chapter 3.3.2 we are unable to see
Application and Scenario Communication tab (or the Service Administration
tab) and we are stuck here.
Moreover,
while manually adding services describe in 3.3.2 chapter i am getting
error "0 entities found!"
Procedure iam following is desribed below:
1. Go to T.code: soamanager.
2. Click on Business Administration.
3. click on Mass configuration.
4. click Create
5. In the Configuration Scenario section fill in the following:
a. Enter the configuration scenario name, for example, StarterServices.
b. Enter a description for the scenario, for example, Services used by
Starter Services.
6. Select the Provider tab and click Add.
7. Select the Search tab.
a. In the Search by field, select Service.
b. In the Search Pattern field, enter the name of a starter service
required service, for example CustomerERPByIDQueryResponse_In.
c. In the Field field, select Both Names.
d. Click GO.
e. Click Add to Worklist.
when i click on "go" as mentioned in step number 7 above i am getting
error "0 entities found!".
So we are assuming it might be due to the services missing in SAP(backend system).
Please suggest on it.
Thanks
Kris

• WLAN controller 4400 series, use service-port for initial configuration, IP address?

Hi, Everyone,
I just got a new Cisco Wlan controller 4402 from somebody else but I can't find a suitable console cable( DB-9 console on the controller) , I googled everywhere and I read I could use service port to do the initial configuration, the CISCO FAQ says initial IP for service port is 192.168.1.1, I tried use Cross-over cable to connect a PC to the service port directly and use a normal cable with a switch to connect the service port and a PC, both of the connections do not work out: from the PC, I can't ping 192.168.1.1 ( PC IP changed to 192.168.1.20) , nor can I go http://192.168.1.1 . The service port Link is solid GREEN and ACT is solid GREEN, the PC NIC says Connected with 100 Mbps , so I'm wondering the IP address of service port is not 192.168.1.1? Please help.
Any sussgestions and advices are greatly appreciated.

Hi,
plz connect service port to the switch port that should be configured as access.
connect a pc (ip address - as u mentioned) to the other port of the switch. both wlc and pc should be in same vlan (create a temperary vlan).
try https to access the wlc.
Thanks

• Are Enterprise Services required under DUET FP1, GW 2.0?

In an earlier project we did prior to DUET FP1, GW 2.0, we did not use Enterprise Services. For the new project, I have a valid GW Data and Consumption Model generated under GW 2.0. When I try to follow the old instructions for the non-Enterprise Services install and generate the flat service under transaction SIMGH, the new screens have required fields for Enterprise Services Repository (ESR), so obviously it wants Enterprise Services information. The old instructions (screens) did not have ESR fields. Is there a way around this or is Enterprise Services required for DUET FP1, GW 2.0? Are there instructions on how to create a non-Enterprise Services instance?
BTW, I was following the "Build Duet Enterprise Applications with Gateway RFC or BOR Generator" document for creating my project. I ran into a similar problem here where there was no Enterprise Services set up for the "Create BDC Model from GSDO Type" step.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,
Your thread title is a little misleading.
Enterprise Services are not required; you typically generate or handcraft own Gateway Services, connected to either RFC's of Web Services (plain BAPI or Enterprise Services; both possible).
But your question actually boils down to whether or not Enterprise Service Repository is required for designing Duet Enterprise Services. The answer to that is Yes: the ESR is also in FP1 still needed during design time, that is if you are using the Gateway Design Time tools (*). At runtime it is not required.
(*) In case of handcrafting approach, you could theoretically do without; that implies that you will somehow have to define the Service Interface, corresponding to the required SAP syntax and semantics. In practice this is NOT advisable, it is very error prone to try handcraft the Service Interface .wsdl...
Best regards, William.

• 'schema is missing for the component ' while creating a web service

Hello,
I am trying to create a web service in Application Explorer on my dev server as described in:
http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28996/config.htm#BABBJHHF
I use an adapter for JDE Edwards EnterpriseOne. After supplying the parameters (service, license, method name) I get: com.ibi.bse.AddWSWorker:java.lang.Exception: schema is missing for the component.
I think the environment (JDE system, GenJava files) is configured correctly as I am able to communicate using J2CA.
Debug mode produces ibse_log.txt with some errors (below) but this does not give me a clue to the solution. Could you point me in the right direction?

• ISG Debug - IP configuration missing for radius proxy session initiation

Folks,
We are trying to configure the ISG as a Radius-Proxy for EAP Authentication. I have configured aaa server radius proxy, clients and aaa auth radius-proxy group as per the guide. I have my interface config as follows:
interface TenGigabitEthernet0/2/0.205
encapsulation dot1Q 205
ip vrf forwarding CS
ip address 10.20.0.1 255.255.224.0
ip helper-address global 172.X.X.X
no ip redirects
no ip proxy-arp
ip tcp adjust-mss 1420
service-policy type control DEFAULT_RULES
ip subscriber l2-connected
initiator dhcp
initiator radius-proxy
arp ignore local
When I try to connect a wifi client to an AP, I can see that the AP is forwarding the Access-Request to the ISG but the ISG does not forward it to the AAA. In the ISG debug I see the following message:
RADIUS: IP configuration missing for radius proxy session initiation
Can any one help to identify what is missing here pls?
Thank You in advance!

Kiran,
Did you follow this guide? It looks like the interface configuration is there but you didnt include the actual radius configuration does it follow the guide here -

• Service book are missing for BBM

hey i have a BB 9380, most of the service book to use BBM is missing on this phone, therefore i am unable to use this for BBM.
can i enter these service book manually or connect to a BB site and download it to my phone?

Hello!!
With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) Batt Pull Reboot
With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support...and to ensure that you are subscribed to a data plan from them that is adequate to enable the services you desire. BBM is a BB-proprietary service, requiring subscription to an adequate data plan.
Good luck!

• Shared services is asking for re-configuration.

Dear Gurus,
I am using 9.0 version shared services, it was working fine since long back, recently domain server have been changed, for the updation i edited the IP and restarted the shared services, surprisingly the shared services is not allowing me to login and is asking for re-configuration as the database is not configured properly.
I am using native directory also, so there should no data(user info and provision) loss.
i am going to perform the below steps:-
1) executing the Cssimportexport utility and take the back up.
2) taking the back-up of shared services repository
3) re-configuring the shared services with the existing repository.
4) executing the cssimportexport utility to restore
i have db-archive and db-recover utilities.
please let me know if iam going wrong.
thanks in advance
Giri Prasad

There is a document that I got from Oracle support called "System9-moving repository.doc" it goes thru the steps of rehosting. I it is more then just changing IP addresses. the document shows the configuration files that need to be modified and database entries.
You should request a copy from support.

• Manual Billing is missing for service period 06/19/2009 u2013 7/21/2009

HI
Can anybody help me to fix the below issue?
Issue: The Manual Billing is missing for service period 06/19/2009 u2013 7/21/2009 for contract 9018967003.
After completing the Billing and invoicing using EASIBI t-code and looking at the refreshed ES32, i found that Manula billing is missing for service period 06/19/2009 to 07/21/2009.
thx
DGR

Hi,
It seems you have processed normal billing and invoicing process.
If the individual invoicing process is successful, the invoicing document should get created and posted unless outsorted.
In your case, if the invoicing document is outsorted, you would be able to see the billing document. (in refreshed ES32 view as mentioned) .
For the billing document, you can check the invoicing document as well, when you display the billing document ... check the print document tab on the same.
If the invoicing document is visible and is not posted, it would be out sorted. Either check the EMMA tcode processing for the same as it seems, an EMMA case might have generated as you are unable to view the same in EA05.
Hope this helps!!

In this assign Issue plant as X.
Run MRP for plant Y. System create Stock transport req in plant Y.
Convert this req into stock transport order.
In plant X, dependent req will create.
Use MB1B mvt type 301for single level stock transport.

When the OS was installed to the new system, which Cluster was selected ?
I seem to recall that with the V880's you needed at least Developer
to get all the necessary PICL functions, End-User was not sufficient.
Perhaps there is some difference between your two systems.

• Error -32810 occurred at The FieldPoint server initialization failed. Possible causes: 1. Missing or corrupt configuration file; 2. Failed to create callbacks. : FP Open.vi

I have two cFP-2120 RT controller. They both have NI-Serial RT2.5.6, DataSocket for LV RT4.2, NI-VISA 3.6, FP Drivers 5.1.0, FP VI Manager 3.1.0 LV RT 7.1.1 installed. But one same vi can run on one controller but not another.
the error message got when it runs on another controller is "Error -32810 occurred at The FieldPoint server initialization failed. Possible causes: 1. Missing or corrupt configuration file; 2. Failed to create callbacks. : FP Open.vi"
I wonder by what it is caused?
Thanks

Hi Matthew,
As mentioned previously, this KnowledgeBase article may be of some help. Also, if your code is being run on an embedded controller and then a network controller (not embedded), you will need to run the program differently. On the embedded controller, you should deploy your VI in a Project Explorer or programmatically (as described here.) However, you do not need to deploy the program to a network controller, but simply run the VI.
I would also suggest creating a new .IAK file. Do you still see the same error? Also, double-check that the software installed on the controller matches the software installed on the host PC. If you have any file paths associated with one FieldPoint controller, ensure that you are changing them to match the second controller.
Please keep us posted on your troubleshooting steps. Have a great day!

• Question on service userid - for RFC call

Hi
In XI 3.0 SP18 , we are making a RFC call from XI mapping runtime - to XI's ABAP stack - RFC function module . In the RFC receiver communication channel , I tried using service user XIISUSER , XIAPPLUSER for this RFC call - I got short dumps on XI ABAP stack mentioning that these two service users do not have authorization to make RFC calls -
Does anybody out there know what service user on XI has RFC call authorization that can used to make RFC calls onto XI ABAP stack from its mapping runtime ?
Correct answers will be rewarded rightaway. Thanks for your time in advance.

Hi,
u have to make entry in sld...
Hi,,
2 Introduction
Configuring IDoc adapter in Exchange Infrastructure 3.0 requires some configuration on the SAP
systems, for both XI and the backend system where the IDoc message is to be sent. These steps, although
simple, are many times missed or mis-configured, causing the delivery of messages to fail.
Since IDoc adapter uses the ABAP stack, instead of J2EE, the configuration requirements are mainly in
ABAP.
Setting up IDoc adapters requires the XI integration server to be able to communicate with the backend
SAP system, and also to make sure that the Logical System Name used when posting IDoc exists on the
backend SAP system.
3 The Step By Step Solution
The basic steps for the IDoc configuration are outline below:
1. Configure SM59 on XI to communicate to SAP backend system.
2. Configure port on XI for IDoc communication.
3. Create or verify the Logical System Name on the SAP backend system.
4. Create or verify business system in XI’s System Landscape Directory.
5. Verify the Logical System Name of the business system.
6. Verify or add the Logical System Name for the sender business system.
7. Create/configure the Communication Channel for the IDoc receiver adapter
3.1 Configure SM59 on XI to communicate to SAP backend system.
1. Using transaction SM59, create an RFC destination with Connection Type = “3”.
In this example, the RFC destination name is “NDVCLNT510”.
2. Enter the logon information:
3. Test the connection by clicking on “Testing connection” and “Remote logon”.
Both must be successful.
3.2 Configure port on XI for IDoc communication.
4. Go to transaction IDX1 on XI, and create a port. In this example, the Port name is “SAPNDV”.
• The Port name must be in the form of “SAPxxx”, where xxx is the system ID of the backend SAP
system.
• The Client must be the client number of the backend SAP system.
• Select the RFC Destination which was created in the previous step.
3.3 Create or verify the Logical System Name on the SAP backend system.
5. Enter transaction SALE on the SAP backend system.
6. Create or verify the Logical System Name. In our example, NDVCLNT510 is verified.
3.4 Create or verify business system in XI’s System Landscape Directory.
The business system name for the SAP backend system must contain a valid Logical System Name. This Logical System Name is the one verified or created in the previous step.
7. In the System Landscape Directory, select the SAP backend business system. If one does not exist, then create the business system. Verify the Logical System Name.
3.5 Verify the Logical System Name of the business system.
8. In the Integration Directory, doubleclick on the business system (in our example, it is NDVCLNT510).
Navigate the menu:
Service • Adapter Specific Identifiers.
If information is empty or incorrect, then it will have to be synchronized with the content of the System Landscape Directory. Follow the steps below for synchronization.
9. (Optional) Synchronization of the business system in Integration Directory to the business system in System
Landscape Directory.
• Double-click on the business system in the Integration Directory.
• Switch to Edit mode.
• Select menu: Service • Adapter-Specific Identifiers
10. (Optional) Within the dialog box, click on the button as indicated below to resynchronize.
11. (Optional) If the expected data from the System Landscape Directory is not updated, then the SLD cache may need to be cleared first.
3.7 Create/configure the Communication Channel for the IDoc receiver adapter.
15. In the Integration Directory, create an IDoc receiver communication channel.
• The RFC Destination is from step 3.1.
• The Port is from step 3.2.
NOTE:
There is no need to create an IDoc sender Communication Channel for XI. Instead, the backend SAP system must be configure to send the IDoc to XI.
4 Appendix
Transaction: IDX2
There are a couple of situation where IDX2 can be useful on the XI system.
1. When we want to test connection between the XI and SAP backend system.
2. When an IDoc has changed, and the meta data stored in XI needs to be update. When an IDoc is sent from the SAP backend system to XI, XI will first check to see if the meta data for the IDoc is already in its persistent cache. If not, then XI will use the configuration in IDX1 to retrieve the IDoc meta data from the backend system. If the
meta is already in cache, then it will NOT do so. Therefore, when an IDoc has changed, it is necessary to manually update the new meta data on XI, or delete it from the cache, so that the latest version can be retrieved. IDX2 is used for this purpose.
Go to transaction IDX2 and click on “Create”.
Enter the IDoc Type and the Source Port as defined in step #2. Click “Continue”.If successful, the following will show up. If error occurs, then the IDX1 configurations will need to be re-checked.
Reward points if find useful.

Hello Praveen,
i think the ICF services are added to your system with the PLM Core.
You need minimum the following software componets for the PLM Core:
SAP WEB UIF 7.0
EA_APPL 604
SAP APPL 604
EA-iPPE 404
PLMWUI 700
Please check if you have these.
For the Configuration an Installation of the PLMWUI there is an discussions which might help you.
