Session not closed on closing the IE 8 browser.

hi,
We are facing this strange problem in IE 8 and 7 browser, but it works fine in IE 6,
When i close the IE window the session remains open, and then if i try to open the portal link
it take me to the open session with out asking ID password.
Our portal is recently upgraded to SP21 level.
Please guide on this.

Hi Sanjyoti,
The problem which you are facing is not related to SAP portal , it is a general problem or you can also call it is due to user cookies present in the latest broswer i.e in IE 7 or IE 8.
You can generate the same problem for yahoo or gmail on IE 7 or IE 8.
just do the following steps.
1. Close directly the portal page.
2. Clear the temp files from internet explorer.
3. now call the portal page , now you should not able to login direclty , it sure now it will ask for credentials.
If you have to resol;ve this problem permanently, do the following activies.
( this activity need to be done on all browser of users )
1. open internet explorer
2. Go TOOLS --> Internet opitons.
3. then got Advance
4. now in setting box, scroll to security.
5. now check the check box ( EMPTY TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES FOLER .....)
6. Click on apply and ok.
Once above activity is done close the problem and now generate the problem which you are getting .
now should not face the problem which you are getting.

I have flex 2.0 version installed on my window xp desktop. I have created one very simple form using TextInput and Label (Like:Video 04: Using Pre Built Flex Controls) but when I am clicking on the "Run" button at top near Print icon nothing is happening and I am not able to see form in browser window( window is not launching).

I have re-installed the flex builder 2 again and now its working file.

How come when I export my WebHelp, it will not load correctly in the Google Chrome browser?

It seems to only be an issue with the Chrome browser. The help works in both IE and Firefox. Since Google Chrome is a very popular browser and many people have it set as their default, this is quite disconcerting.
I am using RoboHelp Version 9.0.2.

Oh...and I found a faster way to delete ALL songs off my iPad at once. Here it is for FYI purposes:
Settings ==> General ==> Usage. Tap the Music icon/line. In the right side of the screen, it will show your the various selections (say if you have audiobooks on your device, as well as Music). Click the Edit button at the top right of the screen. You'll see the red "minus sign" circles show up next to each item. Tap that red circle and a red delete button shows up further to the right. Tap the "Delete" button to confirm you want to delete that audiobook or your music. Press the "Done" button at the top when you are finished.

Backend BSP session not closing on server after closing the window

Hi All,
We have SAP EP (7.0 SP21) and there is a BSP transaction ivew (Interaction Center ) intergrated in the portal. The issue is when the user performs any transactions inside the BSP and then closes the browser, session remains on the server till the timeout. Is there a way to end those sessions on server after closing the browser immediately?
Portal domain : xx.mycomp.com
ABAP system domain :mycom.com
Should the domains be same for the DSM of Portal to work or is there any solution that can be considered.

These are the main issues that can cause issues with DSM:
JavaScript Origin Policy:
Scripting
between different domains is not allowed because of “JavaScript origin policy”.
Also
communication between mixed protocols (http\https) is forbidden.
Therefore
the portal server and the content server must be on the same domain and must
use the same protocol.

Popup Blocker:
•Popup blockers may cause troubles
in relation with SRA feature.
•Terminator handles notifications in
new window when current window is being destroyed (logoff, closing browser
window) – popup blocker prevents the opening of new window, hence no session
handling performed.

In general, the 2 domains should be the same.
xxx.mycomp.com, meaning that first part of the url can change but what comes after should be the same domain.

Sessions Not Closed After 'Execute Unix/Linux SSH Script' Activity

Hello,
Wondering if anyone out there has some experience with running "Execute Unix/Linux SSH Script" activities against a "Unix/Linux System" target and able to help?
We have a process that runs an ssh script on a Unix/Linux target and in the 'Target' tab we specify to open a new session on the target we want. It was our assumption that once the script is executed successfully that the session would be closed, however, that does not appear to be the case. It seems the target receives a "disconnect" from CPO but if we run "who -a" on the host, the session still exists. We are trying to run our activity/script in a while loop with a 60 second pause in between, and after 30 loops (30 minutes) the next call fails.
What appears to be happening is, the session opens on the Linux target and every occurrence of the "Execute Unix/Linux SSH Script" activity is merely connecting and disconnecting using the same session that was originally opened. But after the 30 minute idle timeout on the Linux host, the session is closed and the next occurrence of the SSH Script activity fails with the following error:
This activity xyz did not return within the expected time period and was abandoned.
Is there a setting in the target properties or activity properties that we're missing here??

Front Panel objects do not stay in place after saving, closing, and reopening the VI.

I have been working with a couple of versions of a main VI. The original VI was given to me so that I could add additional functionalities to it. I had been designing the front panel of the latest version of the VI on a Dell laptop running Windows 7 and LabView 2011 SP1 using a monitor with a resolution of 1920x1080. My booleans, numerics, and plots on the front panel had always stayed in place after saving, closing, and reopening the VI. Once in the field, I connected my laptop to a cRIO9073 and used my laptop screen with a resolution of 1366x768 to operate the VI. I made some changes to the VI, saved it, and reopened it. This time I noticed that the front panel objects had become overlapped, resized, and generally rearranged. I tried fixing the objects but I noticed that they reverted back to the incorrect positions after saving and reopening the VI. I was successful in keeping the objects in position a couple of times, but when I would open the VI at a later time, the objects were again rearranged. This is happening on both my monitor and laptop screen. The original version of the VI, however, does not behave this way and I have opened it on both my monitor and laptop screen. In this version, the front panel objects always stay in place. Both VI's have the same window size properties. Could I have corrupted the latest version of my VI somehow? It is possible to programmatically set or change the position of front panel objects. (for example: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4D0DA06B43195B3F862572F3000AF2D3?OpenDocument) However, if you haven’t intentionally done that, it seems unlikely that it is the problem.
Have you tried copying the entire block diagram in to a new VI to see if the problem persists? While it is unlikely, you are right that it is possible for VIs to become corrupted. I’ve never heard of a situation like this except in the situation where the settings Tom had you check have been changed. Here is some information about those settings:

Since there was no rearrangement when you copied the front panel to a new VI, you might try copying the block diagram a little bit at a time to see if there is some particular part of it that creates the problem somehow.

Yesterday I noticed that my mbp 2011 dos not sleep when closing the screen cover. Today I Turner my laptop in. However the fan was working loudly and stayed loud. After Start I noticed an X on Battery symbol. Clicking on it, it showed 'no battery.' I found out that a potential solution for this problem was SMC reset. I also noticed that the leds on magsafe was not lightning. Despite this I tried to execute the smc reset as described on apple support site. Switching off, plugin the magsafe connector, pushed the buttons shift + alt+ ctrl + power. Then i pushed the power button, but my mbp is not turning on. I pushed several times on the power button but nothing works. The magsafe is also dark meaning the leds not lightning. Can anyone here help me on this ?

Up until a few weeks ago--I think when I updated to Firefox 23, though it may have been 22--if I enabled "Warn me when closing multiple tabs," the warning would display only if I closed out a window using the X in the upper right-hand corner, but not if I closed the browser down correctly from the menu. Now it's warning me when I use the menu, too. Is there a way to revert this behavior? I only need the warning if I accidentally hit the x for the entire window instead of for a single tab.

How to not get notifications when the iOS app is closed

I don't know if this is for everyone or just me. When I double click the home button and close skype I still get's messages. This is so annoying, I'm in a big group chat so I almost always get's messages. And turning on bussy doesn't work either or turning on sleep mode (sometimes sleep mode works). The only thing that has been working is turning on offline. I think this is really bad, just turning off the app should work. So does this this tace celuar network even when the app is closed? That truly SUCKS! I love the app othewise. Please fix this. I've a iPhone 5s

In my experience, there is no direct way to handle multiple messages in the same time.
If I'm not misunderstanding, I think you want to make a Message app, as a workaround, I think you can pull message data from your Mobile Service can display them in your Messages page, this is more like build-in message app.
