Set a e-mail address as Main adrress in composing mail

How do I do that?
I have my Yahoo address as main, so every time I compose a mail I have to change the "From" address.
I'd like to change the main from Yahoo to Me.com but I can't find the way to do that

Sorry you're having this problem. I think it was previously reported only by Windows XP users.
When you reinstall, were you making Firefox your default browser? Some users have reported that ''not'' making Firefox the default browser was an effective workaround.
However, you may have success with this approach, suggested by a user in another thread, which appears to more thoroughly update the Windows registry:
# Open Adobe Reader / Acrobat
# Edit->Preferences
# In the Categories column click 'General'
# Near the bottom of the page click the button marked 'Select Default PDF Handler'
# In the dialog, select 'Adobe Reader XI' (or Adobe Acrobat, as the case may be) and click 'Apply'

The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)
An email account setup is specific to an email provider, unfortunately. If you're using one of the more common email ISPs, then there are usually setup guides and frequently-asked questions posted online.

Change my Apple ID e-mail address to my new iCloud e-mail?

I've had an Apple ID account for many many years and it was a "hotmail" account. I recently created a new iCloud e-mail address (@me.com) address and tried to change the current (hotmail) address to the new (@me.com) address but an error message comes stating "You cannot create an Apple ID using a MobileMe account. If this is your email address, it is also your Apple ID". I searched the problem and appreantly it's a very common issue. I realize it is impossible at the current time to have this issue resolved, but are there any options? I don't want to use my current hotmail account anymore! But Apple keeps sending my receipts and uses my current hotmail account for communication. What to do? Could I at least let Apple use my (@me.com) address to receive iTunes receipts and notifications? It's good that I could use my iCloud e-mail to log in but the hotmail account still appears as my primary e-mail address. Please help. Thanks.

Unfortunately you can not change the primary address to an existing me.com or mac.com email address, but you can change your hotmail address to an other email address from another provider (like gmail, yahoo, gmx) and setup this account to forward all emails to your me.com address.
If you want an Apple ID with a me.com primary address. Then you will have to sign up again to create a new account. In this case you have to choose "free me.com address..." during the set up process. But note that you have no option to megre accounts, your former purchases will stay with your old Apple ID.

Is there a way to automatically create a mailing list from a list of people who have received an e-mail? I know how to create a list manually, but there are a lot of e-mail addresses, so this would be an incredibly tedious process.

Setting up default e-mail address

Hi there,
We currently have a set of Workflows sending several e-mails to different agents. We are using workCenters to identify the agents.
It may occur that a WorkCenter does not have any position/user assigned to, and therefore no e-mail would be sent. We would like to setup a default e-mail address for this scenario. This e-mail address will receive the same e-mail, but only when no other agent can be found.
The question is: What would be the most standard way to define this e-mail address? We have set it up within the method of the class we are using to retrieve the e-mail address from the workCenters, but this way users cannot modify this default e-mail address. And we need users to be able to modify this value in production.
Is there any custom config table we can use (like T77S0) specific for WorkFlows? Any other suggestion will be appreciated

Trouble accessing 2nd e-mail address within same e-mail account.

I successfully added my g-mail account, with my main e-mail address, to my I-phone 5. However, I don't use my main e-mail address anymore and had created a 2nd e-mail address within g-mail where I read my mail. I don't see any way on the I-phone to access this 2nd e-mail address. I tried adding a separate g-mail account in settings with the 2nd e-mail address, but I-phone blocks access this way. Does anyone know how I can select/connect to the e-mail address where I actually read my mail?

I still have a lot of e-mails at the first e-mail address that I have not yet read. When I set up e-mail on my I-Phone it asked for the main e-mail address so that is the one I put in. I wonder if I edit that to the 2nd e-mail address instead if that will work - I will try it.

Send AP payment advice e-mail to multiple e-mail addresses?

Hello all,
I implemented Business Transaction Event 2040 to determine whether a vendor payment advice should be paper or e-mail. The SAP code that populates the e-mail address from the vendor's master record only uses the first e-mail address, regardless of how many e-mail addresses are entered.
Have any of you found a way to send the e-mail to all of the addresses in the vendor master address table, ADR6, without making a modification to SAP's code? I tried putting multiple e-mail addresses in the first address field. The data validation that is being performed did not allow multiple addresses.
When I asked this question of SAP, their answer was that there's nothing wrong and that they would be happy to charge for remote consulting to provide that functionality.
I know that we could create a group e-mail address within our e-mail application for every vendor that wants the e-mail to be sent to multiple recipients. Then enter that group e-mail address in the first line of the vendor master e-mail data. I don't really want to do this because this would entail AP staff requesting to have that group set up and maintained by the staff that maintains the e-mail application.
Since we have the ability to enter multiple e-mail addresses for vendors, it seems like the payment advice e-mail that is generated should send an e-mail for every entry in the vendor master.

We are using program RFFOUS_T to create the payment advice. Your solution of copying that program and modifying it would work. But I don't want to go to the time and trouble of doing that.
Because the volume of vendors that have multiple e-mail addresses is small, we'll just create group e-mail addresses in our e-mail application (Lotus Notes) and use that group e-mail address in the vendor master e-mail screen.
SAP doesn't consider this an error. At best it is a serious shortcoming. I have a hard time believing that I'm the first or only customer that has asked about and for this.

E-mail addresses in Apple Mail not showing up in Apple Contacts (iCloud All Contacts)

I've been going though my contacts in the Apple Contacts app, which I have set up to use iCloud, deleting old contacts and cleaning up messy ones. And I've noticed there are a lot of e-mail addresses that I have in Apple Mail - I just start to type a few letters in the To: field and they come up - that are nowhere to be seen in the Contacts app.
Shouldn't these be in my Contacts app? Where else would these contacts be stored? And is there a way to sync them into my iCloud All Contacts or do I have to manually track each one down and add it in the Contacts app?
Quick edit to add: I've also now noticed that the same applies on my iPhone. E-mail addresses appear in iOS Mail that are not in my iOS Contacts app (I've performed a search to be doubly sure). Where do these contacts live and why are they not in my Contacts apps?

Automatic mail-address iPhone

I had an @me.com e-mailadress that was automatically linked to an @icloud.com e-mailadress. You can automatically use the @icloud.com-adress. However, if I want to send an e-mail from my iPhone 6, there's not the possibility to change the address from which I want to send it automatically from. Everytime I want to send an e-mail from my phone, I have to change the address to the @icloud.com-adress.
I know it's a bit vague but does anyone know if there's a way to set my @icloud.com-address the default to send e-mails with? I've got that option on my MacBook.

How may I create Distribution lists for mail. I need to set up a series of groups with a number of mail addresses, I don't want to input every mail address every time I send a mail!

Groups of contacts are created in the Contacts application and then may be used in the Mail application by typing the group name instead of a recipient name.

Erase e-mail address history?

First, my apologies if this has already been addressed in the forums.
Is there a way of removing the "e-mail address history"? Whenever I compose an e-mail address, two e-mail addresses appear that are not from my contacts lists but rather from junk e-mail I received months ago. The e-mail addresses I want to delete are preceded by the + sign and can be seen in the attached screen capture, above.

Yeah, I don't get why this was implemented.
Historically this "feature" was never part of the BB OS.
I can type an email into the To: area ten times and it won't remember it, but it will suggest email addresses that were cc'd on a received email (that I have never sent to) often before any of my contact addresses.
I often wonder when using OS 10 if the people who program this phone have ever used a phone or sometimes even a computer before.
Programming tip. Try using Mac/Apple Mail, take notes, make an address selection system based on that. It works well. The BB OS 10 way does not, at all. Do not under any circumstance include any and all addresses that are from email sent to an email account. And how about a BCC option within the phone itself????
Additional tip. Bring back many of the great features from the old OS. Like auto on/off, different volume setting for different email accounts and for each notification/ring. Reuse the way the ringtones/notifications could be selected and edited as a group (silent, loud, quiet, vibrate, all off). Add a few decent message, alert and ring tones, ones that actually sound different from each other.
I bought a Z30 after using a Curve and the Z30 OS is like going back to a freaking flip phone...
I wanted so badly to believe that the Z30 and OS 10 were better than the iPhone. In a lot of ways it is, but in the phone and email areas it's years behind.
Very, very disappointing really.
