Set a PO delivery date to deliver one day ahead of demand without GR Proc.

Any thoughts to enable the system to generate a planned PO delivery date say a day before the actual demand date without "locking" the material up as is the case with the GR processing setting.  With the GR processsing value to 1 day MRP will in fact have the material delivered a day ahead of time, but MRP will show the material is not available until the next day which causes some confusion when the planners need to move production up a day.  We'd like the GR date to be one day before demand but MRP show the material is available on the delivery date.

Hi There
Del date in SAP is when the goods will arrive at your premises,, and GR date date of GR ( GR pocessing time- 1 day, Del Date+1 day),, means that when the material will be available actullay for the production,, it is a STD,,
You can manipulate the  RLT (Replenishment lead time= Purchasing processing timePlanned del timeGR processing time) as you wish to get,,
Thanks

  • Set Dynamic Default Delivery Date in ME21n

    Hi!
Under personal settings in ME21n, it is possible set a default delivery date. However, as I see it one can only set a fixed date like 2011-08.-12, which would quite useless in a couple of weeks. Is there any way to set this date dynamically as it is possible in normal selection variants.
I am grateful for all input.

yes this field is pretty useless, except for hundreds of items within one PO.
usually delivery dates are defined by the requisitioners  and not by a default value of a buyer.

  • Create variant for VL10b for max delivery date higher than 30 days

    Hi expert,
I want to create a variant for the transaction VL10b with a max delivery date higher than 30 days.
The standard transaction make 30 days as default.
    How can a proceed?
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Haja

    Hi Haja,
From the moment you run your variant via transaction VL10B, the delivery creation date
range will get the values saved in your variant. In a second step, when you click
on "Purchase Order" Tab, the system will re-determine the Delivery creation date
range taken into account the fact that field CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt is empty and that
MaxDelivCreateDate (visible in the variant) is equal to 30.
Please note, the date calculation is being influenced by 2 factors :
-The MaxDelivCreateDate field whose default value can be modified in 2 different ways:
      a) either in customizing via transaction VL10CUC
           or
      b) manually, after unchecking the "Use list profile" check box in the user role of VL10.
By doing this, the field will be made visible and can then be manually modified.
Afterwards, the date calculation is also controlled by the rule defined in CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt field. You can then possibly also set this field to blank or define your own calculation rule via an
user-exit (include V50R_USEREXIT_PREPARE). If the rule is set to 2, then regardless of the
value stored in MaxDelivCreateDate, the date range will only cover today and tomorrow.
These are the only 2 influencing factors for the program (not the variable type in the variant). Please try any combination you may need and this should suit your needs.

    Enrique

The date that appears in the call log for any call seems to show one day ahead. i.e. calls today appear as 31/05/13.

Look forward to hearing from you.
    Kind regards

    Heather,

When/how were these Holiday events entered?
Have you checked iCal>Preferences...>Advanced>Turn on time zone support?

  • Set Sales Order Delivery Date to Today?

I am looking to set the delivery date to a default of the day at which it is entered i.e. I open a sales order and the delivery date defaults to today.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
When you open a sales order, the docdate will be today's date and the delivery date is empty. the cardcode, item code, etc are also empty.
    Use this following query FMS:
    select $[ordr.docdate]
save it by using query generator and assigning the FMS into delivery date by pressing shiftaltF2 and define formatted search window will appears. Select search by saved query, input the query above, check auto refresh when field changes, select customer/vendor code, select display saved value (it is used to avoid updating the document every time you open it) and finally update the define FMS window.
when you open the sales order document, it will still be empty, after you input the cardcode, the delivery date will be input automatically  and as same as posting date. if it is today, then the dates (for both) will be today.
    Rgds,

  • Outlook displays date of birthdays one day too early in MS Office 2007, 2010 and 2013

    Hi
We are supporting several clients that has issues with Outlook. Different versions of Windows, Office and different exchange server versions. Some contacts' birthdays
just "magically" changes to one day too early.  I have done extensive research with no answer. I have experienced this issue personally as early as about 2005 or 2006 with a Windows Mobile PDA.
Our local time is GMT +2 without daylight-savings. I have checked the settings in Windows (Vista Pro and Win 7 pro
x86 and x64) and the calendar settings, I have reloaded a couple of pc's, created new profiles, installed new server hardware with newer exchange.  Even tried a few off-the-wall ideas like resetting all views to default.
Some users' address books are shared, some not. Some uses Apple, Android, BB or Windows phone, some don't.  Some connects through VPN, some don't. Some uses
AVG, Avast, Eset Nod, Forticlient, Mcafee, etc....
I have been fighting this problem for months, and can find no conclusive answer that resolves this.
If I manually open the contact and rectify the date, it will stay correct for a very random time period and then shift
    again.
I am about to lose a couple of my biggest clients, and probably my job as well, so I need urgent help.
Please no remarks on OS version, Office version or mobile devices, as this is definitely not the issue.
    HELP!

    Hi,
Have the users check on OWA, does the issue persist? Please also make sure the timezone of Exchange is also properly configured.
I'm not an expert about Exchange, I hope this blog can be helpful:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/fun_with_powershell/archive/2013/04/30/where-is-the-time-zone-property-stored-in-exchange-2010.aspx
To further dig the problem, rectify the date on owa and drop Outlook for a while(or one day), check the result the next day if the problem will come back.

    >
Well a TRUNC without a format string only gives you one day. If you want to trunc to the month you need a 'MM' format string.
    SELECT sysdate, trunc(sysdate), trunc(sysdate, 'MM'),
    trunc(TO_DATE('2012/01','yyyy/mm')) td from dual
    SYSDATE,TRUNC(SYSDATE),TRUNC(SYSDATE,'MM'),TD

  • 1.454 GB of data used in one day?

Has anyone ever had this happen? My new billing cycle started yesterday. When I left for work yesterday morning, my data usage widget was at 0.0 GB. I worked a whole 8 hour day jumping on Facebook one time. After work, I streamed no more than two hours worth of iHeart radio. At some point in the evening, I refreshed the widget and the little green bar jumped from 0.0 GB to 1.454 GB.  I stream iHeart radio a lot on a regular basis, and it usually takes me about three weeks to use that much data.  There is nothing I could have done in about ten hours time to use that much data without draining a battery.  Customer service was unable to help me and advised me to turn off my mobile data when not in use (for the whole month??) but could not offer any reasons why this would have happened. What do you all think?

Hello homerj281! I regret that this usage has troubled you, and that we weren't able to provide you with acceptable suggestions or options when you called. However, the details you've provided may help us to help you understand the spike in usage. Streaming audio and/or video can easily cause an accumulation of data in the amount of 1.454 GB and higher. It depends on the content transmitted, if there was something other than just the music in that content (additional advertising, video or image-based content that may not be related to the music selection), higher quality media, activities/connections other than iHeart Radio, and even less stable connections can all play a part.
I see that you're using the data widget. Did you also check your usage details through My Verizon: http://bit.ly/xB4iTc. If not, I recommend it as the tool I use to monitor and examine the usage on my lines.

  • Hi, my old laptop has died, and I need to set up my ipod on my new one, can I do this without losing all the music on it, as some of them are from  old cd's I no longer have??

Hi, my laptop died recently, and I have purchased a new one, I want to connect my ipod to it to synch to Itunes but I don't want to lose everything on it, as some are cd's I no longer have, is there a way of synching without losing everything x

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time.  It will recognize the iTunes library on the new PC as a new library.  If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library.  So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.
See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

  • Tagged date off by one day since 2010

I was tagging a TV show I recorded and put it into iTunes only to have it show 1 day earlier than what I tagged it. I used meta-X, so I thought there might be a bug there, but a dump using AtomicParsley shows the correct date:
    Atom "©day" contains: 2010-01-16T00:00:00Z
But in iTunes this shows as 1/15/10
So either iTunes is wrong (or doing some kind of wierd timezone adjustment that is wasn't doing prior to 1/1/2010) or AtomicParsley is wrong.
    Anybody else seeing this?

  • Not happy google play services used 671mb of my 750mb data allowance in one day!!

I don't know what it's nearly all been used up on and now I hardly have any data left.

Did you install/update Google Photos app recently? Make sure that Google Photos Backup is not enables on data connection. Go to your App drawer -> Google settings -> Google Photos Backup ->Back up photos -> On Wi-Fi only.
