I want to use a custom retention formula to determine expiration but the option "Set by a custom retention formula installed on this server" is disabled.
How can I enable it?

Hi,
To use a custom retention formula to determine expiration, click Set by a custom retention formula installed on this server. This option is only available if a custom formula has been set up by your administrator.
However you can create a custom retention policy, follow the articles for doing it by code.

The same error come in a lot of other scripts of DB Load.
I have installed the SQL Server 2000 SP3 with Hot fix 929.

I have this problem too on an ASUS windows 8.1 PC.
Since installing itunes 11.1.5
Problem seems to be that the AMDS Apple Mobile Device Support does not install.
I also tried all options on this forum....

Configure Windows Server Essentials (2012R2) "Identified problem": "Certificate Issuer is installed on this server" stops the configuration

On a server 2012R2 Essentials when trying to install the essentials experience the first install works ok but the configuration allways stops with the message "Certificate Issuer is installed on this server" and no way to continue the configuration.

How can I set up a custom 404 error page on OSX Server?

I moved my web site to a local server and changed the structure drastically. Unfortunately I am getting hits for information that was on the old server which I haven't put back yet. I'd like to set up a custom 404 Error Page to let people know what's up. In server.app I can set up a 500 error page but not a 404 and when I tried hand coding it into the sites .conf file I really messed things up. It took me a while to get that all corrected!

Under the web server Advanced Setting set "Allow overrides using .htaccess" then create an .htaccess file in the root directory with the line:
ErrorDocument 404 notfounderror.html
Use whatever HTML/PHP/etc. document you have created.

"LD_ASSUME_KERNEL not set to 2.4.19" after installed WebGate, httpd server

after installed WebGate on Linux RH4 , I cant start httpd server , I show "LD_ASSUME_KERNEL not set to 2.4.19" in error.log.
I tryed "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19" after and before setuped webgate. bu I have the same problem.

I have solved this problem with bellow solution.
The variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL needs to be set to 2.4.19 in the beginning of startup script usually located at /etc/init.d/httpd.
Here is sample statement that needs to be added in httpd startup script file.

I just came here from gentoo and sortof felt like i want to have a custom kernel because i'm not a fan of default settings.... else why wouldn't i just be using something easy and noob-proof like fedora or mint?...
I found gentoo was a bit too troublesome for a beginner like me, mostly because i felt it wasn't stable enough because i wasn't familiar with linux enough to make it that way, and jumped to arch since it's more stable by default without me needing to input very much (in comparison) and most importantly, it doesn't take a week to install a program, i might jump back to gentoo on some of my computers once i know exactly what programs i want to have running on them beforehand. all the things i'll need, but since i'm new and will be installing and uninstalling a lot of things i think its better for me to use arch.
So, like i said i was trying to set up a custom kernel, i was reading this
But stopped at the part where it says
Changing build()
You probably need a custom .config file for your kernel. You can uncomment one of the possibilities shown in the build() function of the PKGBUILD, e.g.:
PKGBUILD

# Configure the kernel. Replace the line below with one of your choice.
#make menuconfig # CLI menu for configuration
make nconfig # new CLI menu for configuration

Now i very much need that "make nconfig" or "make menuconfig" command working so i can customize the settings in the kernel. I thought about being lazy and just using genkernel from gentoo but... i'm not in gentoo anymore so i figured i should do things the way they're meant to be done instead. otherwise how would i learn right?
This step confused me completely since it's not pointing me to any file and as far as i know there is no such file as "PKGBUILD" for configuration
So if anyone would be nice enough to point me in the right direction or just explaining real quick what i need t odo to enable that nconfig command i'd b e very grateful!

I see now that the PKGBUILD file was in fact in the $HOME/abs/core/linux directory, but i somehow managed to miss it... strange, but i guess i'm only human (and haven't used linux too much, less than a year)
I think i could live with rebuilding the kernel from scratch everytime i update since if things are working i probably wont be updating too often anyways. once you configure a menu many times enough it etches itself into your memory so after a few times i could do it in no time. So i think i will start off by using the "Arch way" for now. But i'll take note of everything ewaller said aswell and keep in mind i could get used to using the kernel from kernel.org instead.
Thanks for pointing out BFS, i didn't know about that. I'll have to look into that, it looks promising!
Now the way i understand it is that i edit the pkgbuild file, run makepkg -i and i will get the nconfig up during the makepkg process right? or i could use the return 1 option and take my time/days "coffeeing" over the config file then once its prepared copy it over to the build directory (or whatever its called) comment the return 1 option and makepkg again to finish it with these settings right? would it be bad to use this same config file for the next kernel version?
But i'm also faced with one more issue you might say jumping from gentoo to arch, that being that gentoo still uses the old GRUB boot loader whereas arch dives me into GRUB2
I liked the old grub because it really provided me with everything i wanted and needed and made it very easy for me to modify it the only drawback i could find (for myself) was that if i wanted to use a background image it could not be more than 14 colors, but that was ok, since i'm not a complete novice in the use of image editing applications.
now my point is that grub2 is not as user friendly when it comes to configuration, at least not from the very start. the code in the config file looks complicated as hell at first glance (even if i'm pretty sure its simple when i'm used to it) and so far i've learned that i can use the command "# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg"
to edit the grub config file which (since i installed os-prober) should apply the configuration changes i've made in the "/etc/default/grub" and scan for any other operating systems i might have installed.
Now it gets a bit more complicated when i'll be dual booting and possibly even triple booting with this grub2. so far so good but the question is, will it pick up any custom kernels i've made and placed on the /boot partition properly through os-prober without me needing to do anything in particular?
I need to be able to change the order in which grub displays the operating systems (custom linux kernel first, then stable arch, then windows7, then fallback kernels at the bottom for example)
I need to be able to manually rename the display name for the operating systems within grub2
The cfg file is a little bit complicated to look at like i said.
Before i mess with this then... the way i understand it i can edit the display name from "menuentry 'Edit name here' .... "
Then i can change the load order by moving "menuentry 'String' --class.... { ... }" around. with ctrl+k and ctrl+u in nano.
and then ideally since i don't know too much about how it's working, not mess with anything else. or is it more complicated than that?
would i need to copy say...
### BEGIN /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober ###
menuentry 'Windows' ... { ... }
### END /etc/grub.d/30_os-prober ###
would that work?
Could i copy/paste the menuentry for the stable or fallback archlinux and change the lines "linux /vmlinuz-linux...." and "initrd /initramfs-linux.img" into my custom kernel and initramfs image for it, would that work?
is it safe to make "root=/dev/sda6" instead of "root=UUID=....." to simplify custom configuration for me if i would so desire?
Finally aswell, it says in the code "insmod gzio" "insmod part_msdos" "insmod ext2"
I use ext4 on my root drive (ext2 on boot) and my custom kernel probably wont be using gzip, is it encouraged for me to change these lines?
Or is there a much simpler way to do this or understand this?

Custom ESXi5.1 installed on HV no compatibale NICs

Hi,
I have installed ESXi-5.1.0-1065491-custom-Cisco-5.1.1.1 to the FlexFlash HV partition on a C220M3 and a C240M3, but on both servers when ESXi loads after a successful install it complains with 'no compatible network adapter found'.
It works fine if I install to the RAID array and I also tried ESXi-5.1.0-799733-custom-Cisco-2.1.0.3 on the C220M3 to no avail and all firmware is up to date.
Is there an issue using the integrated Intel i350 or am I missing something obvious?

Do you have any othe PCI base controller installed on this server?
Make sure that the onboard controller is not dissable on the bios?
In theory, if the installation was not able to detect the network controller it would not allow you to install the OS in any storage volume including the raid or the flex card.

Cisco Unified Communications Manager on VMware on Cisco UCS B-Series Blade Servers uses a different licensing model than Cisco Unified Communications Manager on an MCS server. The MAC address of the NIC card is no longer used to associate the license to the server.

Custom agg formula- all numbers same or show null

Hello,
I'm trying to develop a custom aggregation formula for a certain set of measures in a cube. The formula is as follows...take the average of the measure at any level of dimensionality for a given day, but only if they are all the same number. If any number
differs, show a null. That's probably the best way I can explain it.
For example:
10, 10, 10, 10 = 10
10, 10, 10, 11 = null
10, 10, 11, 11 = null
The users want to validate the measure at the highest level of dimensionality for a given day, and only drill down to the lower levels if at least one of the numbers differ from the others (ie a null is shown as the aggregation). I hope that explanation
makes sense.
It's been a few years since I was deep into MDX and cube formulas. Any tips on starting points, or possibility of doing this, is greatly appreciated. I've been reviewing the MDX documentation and haven't zeroed in on my potential solution yet.

EDIT: Just wanted to follow up on our interim solution. We created a calculated member for the average of each measure, and a separate calculated member for distinct count of the average values. This way we can see if they are all the same at a high level,
and we have the added benefit of knowing how many different values we have if any do indeed differ. Chances are this will satisfy business requirements. If we arrive at the solution I originally described above, I will follow up with how we solved it for anyone
interested.

According to your description, you want to custom aggregation formula. If the all values in that set are same, return that value, other wise return null. Right?
In this scenario, we can use put the distinctcount() and distinct() within a IIF() condition to achieve your goal. Please refer to the query below:

Service Desk Unable to set status to Customer Action and Proposed Solution

Hi Everyone,
We are unable to set a service desk issue to the status Customer Action or Proposed solution.
I have someone create a new issue in the bakend system and when I receive the issue I assign it to myself as the processor. When I try to set teh status to Customer action it is grayed out.
I have checked the following:
1. As a test I assigned My user with sap_all profile so does not appear to be authroisation related
2. The status profile has all six standard values (New, customer action, In Process, Sent to SAP, Proposed Solution, Confirmed).
3. The transaction types have been defined using the standard profiles for Text Det. Procedure, Partnet Determination Procedure, Status Profile. The Partner Function ORG is set to Sold-To-Party , The date profile is a SRV_SLA_ITEM and the Action profile is set to SLFN0001_ADVANCED. The Org Data Prof is set to a customer defined one: ZSSC000000001.
4. I have checked transaction ppoma_crm and the org structure and my user is assigned to a team lead position.

please check your status profile for the "lowest status no." and "highest status no." values of the status values as Alex mentioned!
You can find this in SPRO under "SAP Solution Manager> Scenario-Specific Settings>Service Desk>Service Desk>Status Profile".
If the "high" value of the status "New" is lower than the status number of status "Customer Action" than you can not set the message from "New" to "Customer Action"!

Will I need to purchase Microsoft business or would I be wasting my money. I went to the apple store for guidance and they informed me they could not help me with the microsoft products. To my surprise although apple has a version of microsoft, it is not a full version. I did not purchase the apple word, excel, powerpoint and such to avoid problems sending letters and such to pc users. Does anyone have advice or experience enough to let me know what issues may arise out of either choice.

How do you set up a custom color for the standard screen mode

This new colour scheme has not enough contrast for it to be readable, so I was pleased to find custom screen mode. However, there seems to be no way of setting up a custom color for this. In addition, the icons are so small they are unreadable. Is there any way of making them bigger. I have a 20" and a 22" monitor working together, but they are still not clear enough to use.

Are you referring to the tool icons in Photoshop CS6? There are a few options you can change to help make the interface more readable, but unfortunately, there is not an option to enlarge the tool icons.
It sounds like you may have discovered this already, but if you go to Photoshop > Preferences > Interface, you can change the color of the Photoshop CS6 interface.
You can also enlarge the UI text size in this same window, in the Text preferences box.
You can also make the size of your layers thumbnails larger. You can do this by clicking on the small menu in the upper right hand corner of the Layers Panel and selecting Panel Options.
Here you can change the size of the layers thumbnails.
I hope this helps you out a bit!
