Set Dynamic Default Delivery Date in ME21n

Hi!
Under personal settings in ME21n, it is possible set a default delivery date. However, as I see it one can only set a fixed date like 2011-08.-12, which would quite useless in a couple of weeks. Is there any way to set this date dynamically as it is possible in normal selection variants.
I am grateful for all input.

yes this field is pretty useless, except for hundreds of items within one PO.
usually delivery dates are defined by the requisitioners  and not by a default value of a buyer.

  • Fast change for statistical delivery date in me21n

    hi
    need fast change for statistical delivery date in me21n
    in me21n when i enter on to fast change screen i doesn't find statistical delivery date
    can anyone tell me the process
    thanks

    Dear Anudeep,
    You cannot change this via "Fast Change".
    Please see the usage of this field.
    Calculation of the delivery time is an element in the determination of a vendor's adherence to delivery dates (that is, the vendor's delivery timeliness, or on-time delivery performance) in MM Vendor Evaluation.
    If it becomes known that the vendor can only deliver ordered goods some days later than originally stipulated, for instance, you can change the delivery date accordingly for materials planning and control purposes. However, the statistics-relevant delivery
    date remains unchanged.
    As a result, the vendor's "on-time delivery performance" score worsens. At the same time, it is ensured that materials planning and control works on the basis of the right date.

  • How to set the default display date of Calender prompt of SMPortal???

    Good Day!!
    As for as my knowledge, the default date Visible in all Calender prompt will be the
    Starting Date in the Specified date range either "RelativeDateRange" or "AbosoluteDateRange".
    But we have a requirement to set the default date to a date in the middle of the specified range, I don't find any option to specify in Request Offering Wizard or MP's xml file.
    Our scenario is as follows,
        We are trying to customize the CSPP's request offer "Request Virtual Machine", which has a user promt to select Decommission Date for the New VM. We have configured the date prompt as Relative Date range and set the
    Start date as "1 day next to user's current time" and Maximum date to "90 days after relative date".  So the user will get option to select Decomm date from (1-90) days with the defalut date as 1st day next to his current
    time. But our requirement is to set the default available date as 90th date in the above mentioned Relative Date Range.
         I couldn't find any option in Request offering Wizard as attached below,
          Also I couldn't even find any tag to specify the default display date in the MP's XML file as attached below. Is there any other <tag> can be included inside <Details> tag to accomplish this ??
        Is there any other way to accomplish this???

    This is probably a link editor parameter, see the linker and loader guide.
    Another thing you can do is write your own sbrk() that will log whenever it's called, so you can at least see how many times it's called and with what values. If you really need in-depth instrumentation, write your own heap routines and give them the same names as the CRTL routines. The linker should find yours first and route all memory operations through them. At least, that's the way it worked for me on SunOS 4.1....

  • Default delivery date in sales order

    Hi guys
    A strange problem: I have two sales organisation (sales org.channeldivision) we will call A and B and two sales order documen type (C and D).
    Both the document type have as default delivery date the today date.
    I created a order using A and C combination: the default delivery date appear to be 01.01.1990 always.
    I created with A and D it is ok (today date).
    I created with B and C it is ok
    I created with B and D it is ok.
    I precise: no customer or material has been already assigned to order.
    How it is possible? Other values, a part from default flag over the document type, can change the delivery date over the sales order?
    thanks
    Davide

    Found: it is the sales org. factory date, but only because the document type C has a lead time value. When no lead time exist, like for document type D, the system take the today date correctly.
    Thanks.

  • Urgent!How to set the default selected date for an OAMessageDateFieldBean

    Hi,
    There is messagetextinput on the page.the dataType is Date.
    if I do not input anything on this messagetextinput ,when I click on the date icon,the default selected date is today.
    But I want to set the default selected date base on another messagechoice.
    Is that possible?
    binghao.

    Sumit/Binghao,
    When u set deafult date in the OAMessageDateFieldBean, the OAInlineDatePickerBean (which are referring as datepicker popup windows), takes the default value from OAMessageDateFieldBean.
    If you explore OAMessageDateFieldBean in framework, u will find its nothing but a onClick js event is called on the imageicon attached with messagetextinput bean(in case the type is Date) and OAInlineDatePickerBean is opened in a modal js window.
    So, here is code for setting default value both in both in OAMessageDateFieldBean and OAInlineDatePickerBean :
    OAMessageDateFieldBean dateField = (OAMessageDateFieldBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive(<item id>);
    dateField.setValue(pageContext,new Date(100, 06, 04)/* 4th July 2000*/);
    One more important thing, here Date class is java.sql.Date.I hope i am clear.

  • Set Sales Order Delivery Date to Today?

    I am looking to set the delivery date to a default of the day at which it is entered i.e. I open a sales order and the delivery date defaults to today.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    When you open a sales order, the docdate will be today's date and the delivery date is empty. the cardcode, item code, etc are also empty.
    Use this following query FMS:
    select $[ordr.docdate]
    save it by using query generator and assigning the FMS into delivery date by pressing shiftaltF2 and define formatted search window will appears. Select search by saved query, input the query above, check auto refresh when field changes, select customer/vendor code, select display saved value (it is used to avoid updating the document every time you open it) and finally update the define FMS window.
    when you open the sales order document, it will still be empty, after you input the cardcode, the delivery date will be input automatically  and as same as posting date. if it is today, then the dates (for both) will be today.

  • Shopping Cart default delivery date

    Hi,
    SAP SRM system takes by default  current date as a delivery date in the Shopping cart line item.
    Can any one suggest, whether we can set the same as next working day by default  i.e.. If S/C raised on Friday then defau Delivery date should be on Monday? If yes , how ?

    Create a PR as like shopping cart in ecc and refer the contract and see the PO delivery date
    PR- PO - what is delivery date.
    update me or cross check
    I think in ECC it definetly works fine as we expected .
    You are correct . i just testing
    SC PO did not behave what we exected
    PR  PO behaves what we expected.

  • Set a PO delivery date to deliver one day ahead of demand without GR Proc.

    Any thoughts to enable the system to generate a planned PO delivery date say a day before the actual demand date without "locking" the material up as is the case with the GR processing setting.  With the GR processsing value to 1 day MRP will in fact have the material delivered a day ahead of time, but MRP will show the material is not available until the next day which causes some confusion when the planners need to move production up a day.  We'd like the GR date to be one day before demand but MRP show the material is available on the delivery date.

    Hi There
    Del date in SAP is when the goods will arrive at your premises,, and GR date date of GR ( GR pocessing time- 1 day, Del Date+1 day),, means that when the material will be available actullay for the production,, it is a STD,,
    You can manipulate the  RLT (Replenishment lead time= Purchasing processing timePlanned del timeGR processing time) as you wish to get,,

  • Default Delivery Date on Shopping Cart

    Hi
    We have a requirement to have delivery date in future (current date + n days) on the shopping cart line items. I have searched and found a BADI BBP_CHANGE_DEFAULT to handle this requirement. I have implemented the method CHANGE_DEFAULT_DELIV_DATE to make the delviery date in future. Now this works fine when we create SC with "Describe Requirement" or "Create from old SC/template".
    However when we try to create SC from the catalog the default date remains as current date? I have debugged the code but it seems to be ignoring the date calculated from BADI. Is there any other BADI or different logic for SC created from service catalogs?
    Regards
    Manish.

    Hi,
    Use BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.
    and this sample code:
        LOOP AT it_item ASSIGNING <sc_item>.
          lv_delivery_date = sy-datum.
          lv_delivery_date = lv_delivery_date + ls_sc_item-leadtime.
            WHILE lv_working_day_flag IS NOT INITIAL.
              CALL FUNCTION 'DATE_CONVERT_TO_FACTORYDATE'
                EXPORTING
                  date                 = lv_delivery_date
                  factory_calendar_id  = 'AA'
                IMPORTING
                  workingday_indicator = lv_working_day_ind.
              IF sy-subrc EQ 0.
                IF lv_working_day_ind NE space.
                  lv_delivery_date = lv_delivery_date + 1.
                ELSE.
                  CLEAR lv_working_day_flag.
                ENDIF.
              ENDIF.
            ENDWHILE.
            <sc_item>-deliv_date = lv_delivery_date.
          APPEND <sc_item> TO et_item.
        ENDLOOP.
    In this code I add lead time to delivery date and check if this date is a working day (factory calendar eq AA).
    If yes - it is my delivery date, if not - I add to date one day and recheck.
    Regards,
    Marcin

  • Delivery date in ME21n??

    Hi all,
    While reading the help.sap.com for me21n, i have understood that
    Delivery date
    You can either enter the desired delivery date or leave the field empty. If the field is empty, the system determines the delivery date from the current date plus the planned delivery time for the material.
    My Question is about bold part. I debug the standard ME21n and understood that this delivery date is determine in following order.
    1 if RFQ is maintain then planned delivery days will be pick from RFQ and added to current date
    2 if PIR is maintain then planned delivery days will be pick from PIR and added to current date
    3 if PR is maintain then planned delivery days will be pick from PR and added to current date
    4 if planned delivery days are maintain at plant level in material master.
    Now, this above rules are in above order under if and else if condition. But is it possible to control from
    IMG config, that i change this rule , rather 4th point should be checked first.
    I know this is possible from user exit, but that would be last option. Please suggest.

    No it is not possible through the config, but the PIR delivery date is normally reflect form the material master only
    so you can use the PIR plan deli time
    but if oyu have diff than use user exit.

  • Force default delivery date in sales order

    Dear all,
    does exist a specific SAP setting to automatically compile the delivery date in the sales order document?
    I always need to set this date as:   GetDate() + 30 days
    Regards
        Emanuele

    Hi Emanuele,
    Save the following query within SAP B1:
    SELECT getdate() + 30
    You will then need to apply a formatted search to the Due Date field of the Sales Order, link it to your saved query and have it autorefresh when the Customer/supplier No. field changes

  • VL10h - 1 month default delivery date range

    Dear Sirs,
    I am using VL10h to create deliveries from Sales Order. But, The default date range it takes is only 1 month. Would you please suggest me to increase the date range?
    The message I am getting is-
    Latest deliv. creation date (04.12.2009) further in future than allowed (30 days)
    Message no. V50R014
    Diagnosis
    Maximum future delivery time frame was exceeded.
    System Response
    In your system, the maximum delivery creation time frame is limited to 30 days in the future. However, you want to deliver until 04.12.2009, which the system does not allow.
    Procedure
    Choose a smaller interval for delivery.
    Procedure for System Administration
    You can set the number of days in the future the delivery is limited to in Customizing in Create deliveries profiles 0101, which is assigned to the current list profile "Sales Order and Purchase Order Items".
    regards,
    rahul

    Dear Rahul
    To avoid the error message V50R014 you have to change the value of the
    field "Maximum delivery period in the future"  (transaction VL10CUC).  Alternatively, maintain the delivery creation profile in transaction VL10H for the field "Maximum delivery period in the future".
    Hope this helps.

  • Setting dynamic default values in a list/menu

    To save problems with inserting dates into a Mysql database, I have split the input fields on the file insert form into three drop down lists containing the day, month and year.
    In order to make it easy for users, I wish to take the current date, split it into day (dd) month (mm) and year (yyyy), and use one of these values as the default option for each of the three fields.
    In html you would use :
    <option value="2012" selected>2012</option> for the default, but this is a fixed default.
    I want it to change depending on the actual year., so that if today is 21-02-2012, (thats how we use dates in the UK)  the three fields default to 21 (dd) 02 (mm)  2012 (yyyy).
    I can re-format them into MySql date format mmddyyyy no problem later to insert them into the database
    Any ideas?
    Or is there a better way to do this?

    <option value="2012" <?php if (date('Y') == '2012') echo 'selected'; ?>>2012</option>
    The above solution works well for that item.
    I now have another one which may help others.
    I populate a drop down list with the values 1 to 12, with the default being set to 6 and insert a record.
    This represents the number of months that the record will be displayed until it is deleted.
    When I pull the record back from the database to update it, I need to show the current value of the field, which is stored in $row_eventset['event_expiry'] ready for it to be updated.
    Code as follows:
    <select name="event_expiry" size="1" tabindex="5" title="select from the list">
    <?php for ($i = 1; $i <= 12; $i++) { // loop through the months
              echo "<option value= '$i' " ;
          if ($i == $row_eventset['event_expiry']) {                               //check if this is the same as the record being edited
           echo 'selected="selected" ' ;                                                 // if so select it
                echo ">$i</option <br>";                                                  // the <br> is essential in a browser, though it works without it in live view.
    ?>
    </select>
    I hope that it saves someone some time.
    When I first tried this, it worked fine in live view. However in a browser, all the months appeared on the same line. I had to insert the <br> command to make it work properly.

  • Making delivery date catagory in delivery schedule as week in Sch. agreemen

    Dear MM gurus,
    I am creating automatic delivery schedules in scheduling agreement via MRP run and i am using standard weekly lot sizing procedure. Delivery schedule so created  have 'D' as delivery date category. My requirement is to create schedule via MRP with delivery date category as 'W'. Kindly tell me where can i default delivery date category in delivery schedule lines to week (W). Please post of more information if required. I will be quick to respond.
    Thanks
    Avinash

    Hi,
    If the Lot Size is set to 'W', it instructs the MRP to group all the requirements in a week, considering it as single lot and create
    procurement element to cover these requirements. It has no influence on the delivery date category in the schedule line or date category in any procurement element.
    When the Schedule lines are generated by the MRP run, the default date category is always D (date format). There is no settings/customizing available to alter this behavior.
    Kind Regards,

  • Two Delivery dates in Sale Order against one item

    Dear All
    I need two delivery dates in sale order. one is default at the time of creation sale order. second i need actual delivery date which will be confirmed by production planning department after analysis the order whether material can be ready on that delivery date or it need to change. Actual delivery date may vary from original delivery date and both need to preserve in system. kindly provide solution. best regards.
    Manjit

    You need to select the Availability & Transfer of Req. check box in Schedule Line Configuration.It will transfer the req. to PP.So while creating the sale order , schedule Lines will be confirmed as per the Available Stock.
    System will give you the Default Delivery Date as the Date added after Lead Time in days in the Configuration.Else system will give the Current Date.
    Best regards,
