"set errdisable-timeout" command missing options?

I have a few 4006 switches that do not appear to have all the available errdisable commands (duplex-mismatch is not listed on most) All the 4006's are running at least Cat5.4+, one is running Cat8.4(8)GLX-k9 (output from command listed below) I could not locate any info searching through the docs except that it is listed in the 8.3/8.4 command reference as an option for this command.
SWITCH4006 (enable) set errdisable-timeout enable ?
bpdu-guard BPDU Port-guard
channel-misconfig Channel misconfiguration
udld UDLD
other Reasons other than the above
all Apply errDisable timeout to all reasons
SWITCH4006 (enable)
The above is all that is listed on a 4006 running CatOS 8.4(8)GLX k9. Has anyone else noticed this or have a solution

4500 series 8.4.x does seem to show that option.

Are you using AUR https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/epso … 320-sx218/ ?
I updated the PKGBUILD to remove the line that says 'gcc -V >&5' from the configure file

Set a timeout for crystal sessions while using the Windows.Forms.Viewer?

I am looking for a way to set the timeout for the crystal report sessions when using the Windows.Forms.Viewer in a .NET application. I guess that the default value is 20 minutes (like in the entperprise installations) but we cannot afford to keep many sessions open for that long. Is there a registry entry which can be set? Or even a way to do this programmatically?

we are talking here about a standalone .NET application where the reports are installed locally (like the application itself). We are not retrieving the reports from a server. The whole thing was developed using the crystal report viewer model probably because it was easier to do so. Is there a method in this model to tell the crystal runtime to do the clean-up work either for a report (like the ReportDocument.Close() ) or for the entire runtime instance. Dispose() does not seem to help us. If you say that there is no other way than redesign then we have to consider this option also.

PS: What I was thinking of (as Plan B instead of using the ReportDocument object model) is to instantiate the crystal report viewer object in a separate process (.exe). Please note that we open a new crystal report viewer windows for each report, which is displayed. Closing the viewer window (ie. terminate the process) will at least then clean up and release the crystal DLLs and hopefully close the database connections. Or am I missing something here?

What happens if you hit Preview button in OLE DB Source Editor? Also you can use the same query by selecting SQL Command option and test.
Could you try set the Delay Validation = True at Package and re-run ?
If set the query in variable expression (not in value), then Set Evaluate As Expression = True.

I am converting a smartform of a PO into a PDF. when i am using the option of pint immediately in message option of PO. I am getting this error OTF end command // missing in OTF dat . when i am using option 3 which in not print immediately. i am able to convert it into pdf file and save in my local folder. please advice.

when you click the message button while creating a PO. it will take to next page where you add your output type that is output, partner etc.. after you add and click on further data button there you will have option for dispatching here when you add slect option 4 whihc is print immediately. then i am getting the error. if i am using the other options i am able to down load into pdf but not able to see print preview. please advice

So I deleted/uninstalled all versions of bridge then photoshop, but Bridge would not even install with PS cs5 (maybe it never did, there was no option on install).
In the CS4 suite there was a separate option to install or uninstall Bridge, for CS5 they changed this as combined install with PS.
There are many options for buying separate applications or combinations (Suite) of Adobe Products but according to the Adobe Site Bridge is delivered also with the separate applications Indesign, Illustrator, Flash, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Incopy.
Usually when having a complete Suite it is delivered with one of those applications.
Bridge should be able to communicate with all applications from the same CS version, but uses start up scripts for that applications.
When doing normal installation those scripts should be placed in the correct location automatically.
Having different suite versions on your system it will not be easy to make them communicate with each other through one version of Bridge (sadly enough you can also have only one version of Bridge active at the time and different versions of Bridge use different cache folders).
Don't have experience with scripting but maybe the dedicated Bridge scripting forum (link in previous post) can help you out for the answer of customized start up scripts or if it is possible at all.

Is there a command line option for VNC to automatically launch in fullscreen mode?

I can launch a VNC window from the command line, as such:
open vnc://username:password@hostname
... but I'd like it to automatically start in full screen mode. Is there a command line option for this?
I'm using an old MacMini purely to connect to another Mac over screen sharing, but when the MacMini boots I'd like it to go straight into the fullscreen of the other desktop.

Command line option to specify Bridge master cache

Please allow a bridge command line option to allow the user to select a specific bridge master cache.
The motivation is as follows: I have written a c++ programme to key-word all of my many thousands of photo projects. Essentially each project is in a separate directory on 8 terabytes of networked disk. Associated with each directory is a set of key words. When the appropriate project is selected, I invoke Bridge to open that directory, possibly with a specific images as the "starting image" for that project. Since the master cache files are split (to accomodate the 500,000 max image count supported by bridge), it would be excellent if I can pass a reference to the specific master cache associated with that directory.
A second value of this option would allow the user to create desk-top short-cuts to invoke bridge using an appropriate cache structure. For example, the properties of one short cut could specify the cache file for the current daily use of the Bridge to process images in progress. A second could point the the cache associated with the historical first 400,000 image archived on the network, and a third could invoke bridge pointing to the cache for the next 400,000 image cache - or whatever grouping the user needs to match his workflow when using Bridge as the central focus for various digital assets..
This type of processing allows the user to conveniently invoke bridge according the the needed work flow when multiple cache systems are required. In addition, the multiple desk-top shortcuts would minimize the "error" of having bridge pointed, by accident/neglect, to the incorrect cache structure.
It would also be valuable to allow the user to display the current number of actual image items in a cache system - either as a "view" or "tools" option. This would allow the user to know when it is time to start a new master cache system. Of course, this can be intependently viewed in windows explorer by the count of files in the 1024 or 256 directories - however maybe the cache structure already "knows" this number instantly. Other statistics could be interesting as well - possibly the number of directories known to the cache (possibly the same as the count of directories within the 1024 or 256 directories). Possibly the number of files cached by file type (jpg, tif, psd, cr2, nef, etc) would be of interest to some folks - however, such things should be user-selectable since such analysis might be time intensive and maybe of no interest.
Of course, I do not know if this is consistent with other uses of Bridge - this request is made based upon my use of Bridge as a still photographer and a few videos I have created.

The "data" is a base64-encoded UTF16-LE string that is the folder containing the "iTunes Library.itl" file and "Album Artwork" folder. In the above case:<pre>C:Documents and SettingsTeridonMy DocumentsMy Music estlibrary</pre>
The key/data pair does not exist if you're using the default Library location.
Similary, there is a key/value pair for "iTunes Library XML Location:1" -- except this part always appears, even if you are using the default location. Also, it is the full path to the file itself, not just the directory containing it. e.g.:<pre>C:Documents and SettingsTeridonMy DocumentsMy Music estlibraryiTunes Library.xml</pre>
Since it doesn't appear that double-clicking on the Library file you want to open works, I'm guessing the only way to swap locations is to edit the preferences file -- either directly, or with a script/program. I could probably write such a program in a 1/2 hour or so... I might just do that right now.

File name as command line option for multiple VM processes

"-Xloggc:/tmp/gc.log" is the option I'd like to set, but every process will log to that file and even if we don't experience any concurrency issues the data still isn't useful because I can't tell which process did what.
The island files are cleverly named to include their process number, can I do similar for command line options or will I be restricted to a single JVM?

I am creating Lightswitch HTML application and implementing export functionality using ServerApplicationContext.
I am trying to export a lot of data and i when i call for DB objects I get connection error. I have tried to set ;Connection Timeout=300 in connection string in web.config but it seams like not functioning, and still failing after 30sec.
Can you please guide me where can I set a connection timeout in order to change it's default value from 30 sec to something bigger?

I think what you are looking for is "CommandTimeout" and not connection timeout. The connection timeout is how long the SQL Client will wait while establishing a connection. A command timeout is how long the SQL Client will wait for a command to complete.
So if you are executing a long running command, you will run into command timeout issues.
In order to set the command timeout for your SQL data source, add a "key" to your web.config's <appSettings> node of the following form:

<add key="DataSourceName_CommandTimeout" value="60" />
</appSettings>
Replace DataSourceName with the name of your data source. So if you are using the ApplicationData data source, the key would be named "ApplicationData_CommandTimeout". Look in your Solution Explorer under "Data Sources" for the name of your

The value is the number in seconds for the timeout.

In Firefox Nightly (what will become Firefox 20), per-window private browsing has been added, so the menu item under the Tools menu is gone. It's been replaced by New Private Window under the File menu. I don't suppose it's very likely that you're using such a cutting-edge test version of Firefox though.

Is there any way to set a timeout for an HttpConnection instance? I've got something like:

but the timeout on my particular device waits 2 minutes! I'd like to make it something more like 20 seconds. Any way to do this?

I am surprised that HttpConnection doesn't have a way to timeout already. I searched thru the docs and I cant find any.
Anyway this is my solution. Use a Thread. Start the thread before calling Connector.open. In the run method of the thread, sleep for 20 secs, wake up and display something to the user. This is assuming that your Connector.open is not blocking. i.e its in a thread of its own. this is an example of a non-blocking httpconnection

We are printng invoices and archiving them at the same time.
When I try to print and archive just the original invoice it works fine
That is , it prints and archives.
However when I set the flag SSFCOMPOP-TDARCCOP to 'X' (Archive Copies as well),
I get the error OTF end command // missing in OTF data.
Im guessing that the system tries to archive multiple copies and the End of File Command // at the end of each copy is causing the issue. But I dont know how to go about solving it.

'set port description' command in CatOS 8.4

We've upgraded to CatOS 8.4 to get ssh few month ago. I haven't noticed until now that there is a 'set port description' command. It still has 'set port name' command to name the ports, but not sure what 'set port description' command does. Looked for the command in the Cisco reference guide and the command is missing from the list.
For one, it doesn't change the port name as 'set port name' does. I suspect it could supply port information for snmp polls. Anyone know what this command is for?

Found a reference to it here which to me says its the same as the "set port name" command but as you say it doesn't work!
