Set Invoice status to printed using the SDK

Hello Experts,
Do anybody know if its possible to set the Printed property to "Printed" of a A/R Invoice with the sdk for Sap Business One 2007 And / Or 8.8 and successfully update a document.
We are still using v2005 and this property is in read-only.

Hi Simon,
The printed property is still read-only in 2007A and 8.8. I don't think that's likely to change so the only way to change the value is to print the document via the UI.

Without using the iDS console, meaning just by using the SDK, could I set the period for password expiry?
Since the userPassword is a multi-value attribute, how can I differentiate between which is the password for signing-onto the server and which are passwords for other applications?

If you mean to configure the password policy using the SDK, a Modify operation for the base object "cn=config" and replacing the value of "PasswordMaxAge" attribute will work.
If you intend to set a specific expiration time for a specific user, you should not do this and let the server set the expiration time based on the configured password ploicy.
For more information on the password policy configuration, you can refer to the Administration Guide.
Also, although userPassword is multivalued, the pasword policy as currently defined in the Directory server suppose that the userPassword attribute contains only 1 value. If the password contains more than 1 value, the result of the password policy is undefined.
And there is no way to differentiate between passwords.

I upgraded SAP B1 8.81 PL07.
In new verson, i have a problem in AR Invoice
In case of Service Invoice: Status: "Open", which is correct.
In case of Item Invoice, Status: "Open - Printed"
even i did not print that document.
Is it bug in new verson?

Check whether the document you are talking about which has the 'Open-Printed' status is using the Manual numbering series.

How can we print using the windows printer dialog window?

We recently got new printers and a printer setup on our server that are set to print in greyscale as a default. In the past the printers defaulted to printing in color. When I create VI's and reports I have used to set "Print on completion" or the print option from the Report Generation Toolkit, and I have received my prints in color. After changing the printer drivers on the server any printing method I used to do from LabVIEW will always produce greyscale prints. These prints are fine for everyday use, however we need color prints when the documents are for customers or for other official use.
If I could only send documents/VI's to that process the user could override the "greyscale" setting and select "color" in the cases where we need a better looking print. Obviously the other option is to save the document/VI as a file and later print it from any windows software (Excel, Paint etc.).
Do anyone have any neat tricks for printing using the windows printer dialog?

You can change printer settings programmatically via a .NET assembly. You can also bring up the Print Dialog to change settings manually before printing.

Dynamic Image issue using the SDK CrystalReportViewer in a Web Farm

Well it's the classic dyanamic Red X image problem with a twist. We have the CrystalReportViewer control coded into an ASPX web page using the BOE XI R2 SDK.
The problem is everything works fine (after all the usual Red X image fixes) when only one of the servers in the farm are running. It's when two are running, by using Process Monitor, I can tell NetScaler is splitting up the HTTP calls so one server may have the temp image created and of course the other one doesn't.
Therefore, if you're lucky enough for one server to handle most of the load, image comes up fine. Otherwise, the report renders, but you get Red X for the image.
I have seen an article about a registry key (CrystalImageDir) that allows you to enter a network share as the temp folder. The problem is, we are using Windows Integrated Authentication for the intranet site so you're faced the two hop authentication hurtle, leading to access denied on the UNC network path.
Anyone using the SDK in a .NET application using multiple web front end servers?

By the way, I'm hearing that NetScaler can handle sticky sessions. However, since a report with dynamic images is really a GET request for the report, then a bunch of sub-GETs to grab the images, what URL would you set the sticky session for?
For example, if the web page containing the CrystalReportsViewer was:

Then report the viewer would contain links to something like:
https://coolapplication.mycompany.com/Site100/ReportApp/CrystalImageHandler.aspx?dynamicimage=cr_tmp_image_5671d67a-4f5d-4ab1-b3c8-0d2561ee64f3.png
So which URL/page gets load balanced? Or is that not how LB works?

How to set up different virtual LANs (using the E3200)?

Hi.
I would like to set up different virtual LANs (using the E3200) so that I can have two different networks that can't access each other.
The E3200 is connected to a modem for internet access.
I would like both networks to have access to the internet.
Does the E3200 alone support creating virtual LANs?
If not, is there another way I can meet the requirement using the E3200 alone (using something other than virtual LANs)?
I'm ultimately thinking that I would need at least one other router.
So for example,
Router A (E3200) is connected to the modem and setup for DHCP using a LAN IP range 192.168.1.1/24.
Router B is connected to Router A and setup for DHCP using a LAN IP range 192.168.2.1/24.
In this way devices connected to Router A should not have access to devices connected to Router B and visa-versa, correct? For example, Device X connected to Router A cannot ping or browse files on Device Y connected to Router B and visa-versa, correct?
Would I need to setup anything else on Router B? For example, do I need to setup DNS settings so that devices connected to Router B can connect to the internet without issue? Would I need to specify that these virtual LANs are not bridged, and on which router, or both?
I already know how to set up a static IP, DHCP, LAN IP ranges, and static DNS settings on a router, etc.
In regards to wireless devices, I am thinking they would follow the same pattern; so wireless devices connected to Router A (E3200) have access to other wired and wireless devices connected to Router A but not to wired or wireless devices connected to Router B and visa-versa. However, if wireless devices currently don't have access to wired devices also connected to Router A, then that is fine for now.

The E3200 has no VLAN support according to the manual. There's no way to configure two separate networks with this router alone.
You will need to add network electronics.
Ex:
Managed Switch with VLAN
Another wireless router with VLAN
If your modem supplies multiple public or private IP addresses then you could put a switch after the modem and two wireless routers attached to the switch.

Well if you use the Finder Go menu to Computer, a window opens up double click on your boot drive and then on Users folder, open the other user folder and open Public and drop your files into DropBox
When you do this it will copy them and change the permissions and user assigned to it, so log into the other user and place them into your respective normal folders.
Once you have all your files over and don't need the old user, use System Preferences > Accounts to delete it if you wish, however it's good two Admin accounts on the machine in case something bad happens in the other. Some people for security reasons on use a Standard account for most uses and a emergency Admin account.
One can still do most Admin things in Standard user.

How do you remove the filename/path using the SDK

I have a program that uses the Adobe Acrobat SDK . It creates aPDF file from a HTML file that gets created after the program cruches some data. It can create the PDF file fine but how do I get it to do it with out the file name and path in the lower left corner. We insert the created PDF file into another document and do not want to show the data on these created pages.
Have searched through this site and can not see it mentioned. HELP !!!

I am not the programmer, he is out of the office today.
What I see happen is that our program is used to create a database of the content of a multipage PDF file (an old doucment that has been scanned and OCR'd), the program then outputs the data as a HTML file (not the Adobe SDK).
This HTML file is then converetd into a PDF file and attached to certain subsets of the original PDF file, its does a whole bunch of splitting and recombining of the document into the sections we need. It does this fine, no problems at all. All of this is done using our program and the Adobe SDK.
The issue is that the PDF file (generally just one page) that gets created from the HTML file includes file name and file path at the lower left corner of the page. We are looking for the commands within the SDK that can turn the feature/function that creates this text on/off.
As the Adobe Acrobat on this machine is used for many different jobs, some that require this text to be shown on other documents that are created (by using Acrobat itself and not the SDK) we really don't want to have to open Acrobat itself everytime we want to run this process.
The SDK seems to have commands for pratically everything else, we were hoping it also has the commands within it that we can then program to not create this one area of text when converting the HTMl to PDF file from within our program..

I just ran a test creating a PDF file froma webpage, and I can see the field Place Headers and Footers on a new page. I have tried creating the page with and without the Headers and Footers, that works fine. But can this be done just by using the SDK and if so where is that command located.

Setting up a home network using the new USB551L modem

I have recently switched from the 3G USB760 modem to the new 4G LTE USB511L modem. Since I live in a very rural area, it is one of the few internet options that I have and I am forced to use it for my home. I previously set up a wireless network using the previous modem by connecting a wireless router to my computer by ethernet cord. I then went under the properties of the connection in order to allow other computers/devices to use the connection. Since switching to the new USB modem, the network does not appear under the list of options when using the Windows 7 network connections icon in the lower right corner of the screen. I am trying to set up a similar wireless network for my house but I am having difficulty. It seems that everything will connect to the wireless router but the router is lacking internet connection. Any advice is appreciated.

How to remove file attachments using the SDK

I am looking for ways to programmatically remove file attachments from work items. If I recall correctly, the system only keeps the file for as long as the relationship exists, so that, in theory, the file is deleted from the database a soon as the
relationship is removed.

The relationship is defined as a membership/containment relationship. So, yes, if you delete the relationship, the file attachment (and the associated blob) are deleted as well.
Based on the background you described, I'm assuming you identify a bunch of work orders whose files you want to delete if they're older than X. So, for instance "Work Items with Y team; delete file attachments older than 90 days", "Work Items
with Q team; delete file attachments older than 3 years". Is that right?
If so, you don't necessarily need to delete relationships specifically...you can simply delete the file attachment objects which will delete the relationship, the file attachment object, and the associated blob (the file itself in the database).
Using the SDK, you will not need type projections for this. You'll only need the work item object(s) (an incident or service request or whatever), the GetRelatedObjects<>() method, and an IncrementalDiscoveryData object.
So, after you get all of the appropriate work items, you can use the following snippet to delete their file attachments if the attachments meet your age requirements

If you haven't got the router then get WRT54G3G. If you already have a router then use it as a switch/access point, and use windows internet connection sharing or proxy server to share internet.

Printing using the built-in print drivers launches a PowerPC App.

According to CNET: "Canon, Epson, and HP have all also announced that full universal binary drivers for their Apple peripherals will come with the iMac Core Duo as part of OS X 10.4."
So one would think that if you use said drivers printing would not require Rosetta. Alas - it does.
When I print using the built in drivers which are supposed to be Intel native I have noticed that PrintJobMgr is launched as a PowerPC application (I have been watching it in Activity Monitor). PrintJobMgr is Universal, so is lp and so is the App that gets created when you install the printer.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any thoughts? The driver that it is supposed to be using is the built in HP InkJet 2.7.1.

I didn't migrate from my powerbook - I only copied over a couple select files by hand (I rsync'd my iPhoto and iTunes and copied over my mail and documents).
I am fairly sure that I have the original HP (and supposedly Universal) drivers and I was aware of the migration bug. That is why I am concerned.
If you are using the built in drivers, print something while watching Activity Monitor. Does PrintJobMgr show up as Intel or PowerPC?
The printer in question is an HP 6840.

Why doesn't printing use the default printer?

I have two main printers to use at home and whenever I print a web page, Firefox automatically prints using the non-default printer. If I select the default printer from the drop down list, it works fine. I shouldn't have to select the default printer every time I want to print.

Note that NONE of the replies answer the original question.
