can someone tell me how can i set the maximum number of bpm node in XI.(Transaktion for example)

You can try changing this with TCODE: SWPA
"Maximum node number" parameter
By default the value is 10.000 (at least on my DEV XI)

Illustrator won't run: "unable to set maximum number of files to be opened"

I have an intel macbook pro (core duo with 2GB ram) and a copy of purchased adobe creative suite 2. Other applications in the suite like photoshop, acrobat, etc can run on my mac without any problem. But when I try to run illustrator, it just shows an error message "Unable to set maximum number of files to be opened" and quits. I also installed a trial version of illustrator cs3 and got the same problem. Can anyone help? Thanks.

How to set maximum number of jobs in oracle

I don't think there is any limit on number of jobs that can be submitted to Oracle. However, there is a limit on the number of processes that would execute those jobs (governed by JOB_QUEUE_PROCESSES).

Maximum number of server nodes for a dispatcher

Hi,
Is there a maximum (recommended) number of server nodes that can be created per dispatcher, for the 6.40 J2EE Engine? We are considering using a 16GB RAM server with 1 dispatcher and 8 server nodes to run our EP6 SP18 portal. Are there any implications we should be aware of with this setup? Is there any additional configuration for the dispatcher necessary for a high number of server nodes?
Any advice greatly appreciated, points will be awarded.

Set "Maximum number of recipients" option for specific users in Exchange 2010

I have some set of users who usually send bulk emails outside. I need to increase the value for these users for"Maximum number of recipients" as 999.
Any help or suggestion is appreciated.

Really sorry for providing the wrong value on MaxRecipientEnvelopeLimit in my previous post.
The default value for MaxRecipientEnvelopeLimit is 5000

The MaxRecipientEnvelopeLimit parameter specifies the maximum number of recipients in a message. The default value is 5000. The valid input range for this parameter is from 0 through 2147483647.
If you enter a value ofUnlimited, no limit is imposed on the number of recipients in a message. Exchange treats an unexpanded distribution group as one recipient.

Set maximum number of responses allowed for a form

Would it be possible to set a maximum number of responses allowed for each form? Say, if more than 1000 responses are received, the form will be closed automatically and no more new submission can be made.

Hi,
FormsCentral doesn't support this functionality. Currently 50, 500, 5000 limits are set for free, basic and plus accounts, you cannot set a different limit for individual forms.

Setting maximum number of image buffers in MAX in IMAQ vision builder

To aquire large number of images using duncan Technologies Camera (7f/s) on IMAQ PCI 1424 i'm supposed to set the maximum number of buffer images in MAX(Measurement and Automation)in IMAQ vision builder. But i do not see the option for specifying the maximum number of image buffers under the properties of PCI 1424. Please advise.

The setting is somewhat difficult to locate.
In MAX, select "Tools" on the main menu bar. Under that, select "IMAQ". The only option that comes up is "Max number of buffers".

its correct that i meant (Multiple Calls/Call Waiting), and i know how to change that inside CallManager, but i want to make it accessible for the phone user on the display, and obviously only for his own phone number.
That s what i m trying to do, write an XML application and put a field on the display so the user can change that by himself.
May be u can give me a hint where i find the chapter in the documentation.

How do you set maximum number of concurrent users to OBIEE

In a training session for the end users - only 4 users could connect - after this others could not connect - got NQS Error:100118 Access for the connection is refused

As I don't see any configuration tag to specify concurrent users.
Try this, go to connection pool (within RPD) and set the maximum number of connections, this does correspond to number of concurrent connections to database but not concurrent users.

There is not an OOB way to change the max number of posts in Newsfeed. You may try to use Code to achieve it. Here is a similar post for your reference:

Is there a limit to the maximum number of <item>s allowed in the .xml feed for publishing on iTunes?

I have a waveform chart set to x-autoscale, but after about 1000 data points, it begins to scroll again. How can I display all of the data points being collected, say 2000 points?

Right click on the chart and select Chart History Length. Enter the value that you need. The maximum is 2147483647 points.

I get this error on XmlType.toObject applied to a valid Xml instance (verified outside XmlDb)
When repeating the test on various documents, the error message always refers to the first child node of the root element, even an attribute, for which maxOccurs is meaningless.
The instance is provided via HttpUriType.getBLob and UTF-8 encoding.

Found a workaround: insert Xml instance into XmlType table, then toObject after select is OK !

I need to limit my text area to 3 lines. How do I do this ?
I was thinking about character limitation but if the user
press "enter" 3 times, I'm screwed since it is only 3 characters
but it bust my 3 lines limit.

You should never limit them to a set number of lines. Go for
character limitation and test the input value before allowing them
to submit the form.
