Set Minimum Date
Hi all,
I want to set minimum date with an item however seems like there is slight mistake, can please someone help me
I have the application in apex.oracle.com
workspace = GBT
user = apex
password = apex
Application is TestDate, Page1
I have 2 items
P1_FROM is a date picker
P1_TO is a date picker
P1_TO should not be earlier than P1_FROM
So in P1_TO I have following setting
Highlighted Date &P1_FROM.
Minimum Date &P1_FROM.
When I run it, it is still allow earlier than P1_FROM value.
Can please help me with Highlighted Date and Minimum Date setting.
Regards,
Siere
I ran into the same problem trying to set the default date on a date item and found a workaround.
I took the start date from one item (P7_REQ_PICKUP_DATE) and loaded it as the default date for another date item (P7_REQ_RETURN_DATE) via an onChange javascript dynamic action:
var d1 = $x('P7_REQ_PICKUP_DATE').value;
var d = $.datepicker.parseDate("dd-M-yy", d1);
apex.jQuery("#P7_REQ_RETURN_DATE").datepicker("option", "defaultDate", new Date(d));
I'm sure you can substitute defaultDate with minDate and maxDate ...
Tried your workspace but auth error...

Error while setting Minimum value to Input Number Spin Box..
Hai
I drag and drop a VO and created a table.In that table,i convert a column which contain an InputText field to Input Number Spin Box.At the time of page load ,the table fetches the datas from the DataBase and showing Number values in the SpinBox.After that,When i scroll the table through vertical scrollBar,the table showing *"fetching data"* and Error is throwing as *"The value must be Number"* .. In the VO,this attribute is Number.
THIS ERROR ONLY OCCURS when i set the Minimum value of spinBox ..The purpose of setting minimum value is that i only want user to select ve value only..How can i restrict the user for selecting only ve values..?(ie,*How can i set minimum value to SpinBox?)*Try changing the datatype of your attribute in the EO to be Double instead of Number.

Suggested 802.11n/ac minimum data rates
Good evening,
We presently have some minimum data rates setup for our 802.11 deployment (.11b/g disabled below 9Mbps, required at 11Mbps and supported at 12Mbps+ and for .11a/n/ac below 12Mbps disabled, 12Mbps required 12+Mbps supported). Currently in the high throughput section all MCS indices are supported. Are there are recommendations on the .11n/ac minimum supported MCS index?
We are supporting both 1142 and 2702 access points.
Thanks!You should disable upto 11 Mbps (including 11 Mbps) & make 12 Mbps mandatory in 2.4GHz band. This will stop performance degradation due to protection mechanism enable when 802.11b client present in the network. (if you still have to support 802.11b legacy clinets then you cannot do this)
Are there are recommendations on the .11n/ac minimum supported MCS index?
leave all MCS indexes enabled. Depend on the RSSI & SNR, it will dynamically set a suitable rate. Refer this for detail

Newbie question about setting the date of a UIDatePicker
I created a UIDatePicker in my view and called it targetDate.
If I don't set targetDate's date property, the UIDatePicker shows up by default with a date of November 30, 0002.
So, when the view loads, I did this:
NSDate *today = [NSDate date];
targetDate.date = today;
(Note: in the above expression, the square brackets around "NSDate date" don't show up and are turning the expression into a link instead.)
After doing that, when the view loads the UIDatePicker object initially shows the correct month and date, but it shows 0001 as the year.
So my question is, why doesn't this set the correct year?
In the Interface Builder the UIDatePicker's minimum and maximum dates are set from 1/1/0001 to 1/1/4001. I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem. I assumed that was just setting the allowed range for picking.
I don't know what the "Date" setting field in the IB above the minimum date field is supposed to be for either.
Anyway, am I not setting the date property correctly?
Thanks,
doug
Message was edited by: Doug Lerner2Instead of setting the .date property when the view loads I ended setting it when the UIDatePicker is displayed and the date setting works ok now.
By the by, if you have very early dates set, like January 1, 0001, the dates of the months are off by a few days. I guess that has to do with the whatever happened like 1000 years ago when they made a big adjustment to the calendars.

NorthWinds DB-Can't set READ DATA/READ DESIGN permissions for MSysObjects
I tried to set READ DATA and READ DESIGN for object MSysObjects as stated in the tutorial for Migrating Northwind Access DB but I get a "You can't change permissions for 'MSysObjects'". The error message says that to change permissions for this object, I must have Administer permission for it. How do I get permissions? Can someone please help.
Hi Robert,
Apologies for the delay in responding, but I see you've since found a workaround yourself, which is great.
As a minimum we recommend that a user applies the read data/read design permissions, but users with "Update Data" have sufficient permissions in order to create a connection to the MS Access MDB file via Oracle SQL Developer. Generally, once you're in the Admins group, there should be no issues setting the required permissions of the MSys~ tables. However, I have known MS Access to be a little temperamental when it comes to allowing for permissions settings on these tables. If necessary, go to the "Change Owner" tab of the "User and Group Permissions" dialog, and set the New Owner of the table in question to Admin.

In new iPad 4g, when sim card is not inserted, I can not find the enable 4g tap in the setting-cellular data tap, can some one please tell me if this is normal and if so, then when it appears, thanks
If the SIM is out of your phone, find my phone needs a data connection, so could use wifi - IF in range of a wifi and one that it can join (ie. a known network or one that is wholly open so no login required). Your phone could also simple be turned off, so not findable, or it may have been restored (plugged into iTunes and restored as new) again, making it permanently unfindable. Honestly, for someone stealing an iPhone, this is likely the first thing they do - restore as new and it is theirs forever.
Find my iPhone is tied to the users iCloud account - the find function is part of the iCloud account's services and it communicates with the iCloud servers over a data connection - either wifi or 3G.
Have you set up your iCloud account on your replacement phone, and is it working properly on that phone? -
Trying to programmatically set the data-source for a Crystal reports report.
I've got the following existing procedure that I need to add to in order to programmatically set the data-source (server, database, username, and password) for a Crystal reports report.
I added the connectionInfo parts, but can’t figure out how to attach this to the existing

How can I maintain two separate itunes accounts on one single device (iPhone 4) without erasing either set of data when syncing with itunes?
Hi,
Depends on what you trying to setup but for purchases, you can roll down at the very end of the iTunes/AppStore pages to logout of your current account and then login into a different one. Then your purchase will be billded to this new account. Everything will sync as you used to but in order to use the purchased content in iTunes or other devices, you will need to authorize them (you can have up to 5 devices authorized for an account). -

How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro & Database table
Dear friend,
I am a beginner of Web Dynpro. I want to develop my simple project like these:
1. Create my own database table via Dictionary Project such as TAB_USER and have 3 fields: USER_ID, USER_NAME, USER_POSITION and I have already deployed & archived it.
2. Create my own Web Dynpro Project, and create the input fields as User ID, User name, User position and icon 'Save' on the selection screen and I have deployed it already.
For the process, I want to input data at the screen and save the data in the table, please give me the guide line like these:
1. How can I set the data binding between Web Dynpro and Database table ?
2. Are there any nescessary steps that I will concern for this case?
Sorry if my question is simple, I had try to find solution myself, but it not found
Thanks in advances,
SeMsHi,
You can write your own connection class for establishing the connection with DB.
Ex:
public class ConnectionClass {
static Connection con = null;
public static Connection getConnection() {
try{
Context ctx = new InitialContext();
DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/TSPAGE");
con = ds.getConnection();
return con;
}catch(Exception e){
return null;
You can place the above class file in src folder and you can use this class in webdynpro.
You can have another UserInfo class for reading and writing the data into the DB .

Error when trying to set a date type edit field
Hi all
I have an edit text field in a form which is bounded to a date type
database field using dbDataSource.
When i try to set the edit text field value with Today's date by code.
I recieve an error message that the value which
i'm trying to set is not legal. the error number is [131-183].
I use the following code to set the edit field:
If oEditText.Value.Trim = String.Empty Then
Dim strDate As String
Dim sboBob As SAPbobsCOM.SBObob =
oCompany.GetBusinessObjec(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.BoBridge)
rs = sboBob.Format_DateToString(Microsoft.VisualBasic.Today)
strDate = rs.Fields.Item(0).Value.ToString().Trim()
Try
oEditText.Value = strDate
Catch ex As Exception
SBO_Application.MessageBox("error setting
current date: " & ex.Message)
End Try
End If
My question is how can i set the edit field with a valid value?Hi!
When writing to EditText.Value you must always use the B1 "DB-Format" as String.
The following examples are assuming (it's a must!) that the EditText-Fields are bound to a corrosponding DataSource (Type Date, Price etc...)
MyDateEditTxt.Value="20080207"
MyPriceEditTxt.Value="1341.79"
The best of it: It's Windows and SBO-GUI-Language independent.
EditText.String must always be written with the format of the actual Language of the SBO-GUI, which can be changed by the user....

Problem while having a large set of data to work on!
Hi,
I am facing great problem with processing large set of data. I have a requirement in which i'm supposed to generate a report.
I have a table and a MView, which i have joined to reduce the number of records to process. The MView holds 200,00,000 records while the table 18,00,000. Based on join conditions and where clause i'm able to break down the useful data to approx 4,50,000 and i'm getting 8 of my report columns from this join. I'm dumping these records into the table from where i'll be generating the report by spooling.
Below is the block which takes 12mins to insert into the report table MY_ACCOUNT_PHOTON_DUMP:
begin
dbms_output.put_line(to_char(sysdate,'hh24:mi:ss'));

How to restrict a table with its set of data based on a column value in it?
Hi,
I have a scenario in which I have to show a set of data of a pivot table by restricting data based on a column value. I am creating BIP report whose source is from BIA ie.RPD. Based on a column value I want to restrict the data being displayed in the table. Since I also want the hidden data in the first table to be displayed in another table in the same report I cannot restrict the data at the query level i.e at RPD or at BIA. For this reason I used
<?xdofx:if saw3_ = 1?>
the pivot table
<?end if?>
But it does not restrict any data.
Also I tried using the if condition inside the table before the row level looping happens. But no good show even then.
How can I forgo this problem?

How to set JDBC Data Sources in Oracle MapViewer for Oracle database 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.1)?
The following is my configuration in the conf\mapViewerConfig.xml:
<map_data_source name="mvdemo12"
jdbc_host="127.0.0.1"
jdbc_sid="orcl12c1"
jdbc_port="1522"
jdbc_user="mvdemo"
jdbc_password="7OVl2rJ+hOYxG5T3vKJQb+hW4NPgy9EN"
jdbc_mode="thin"
number_of_mappers="3"
allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="true"
editable="true"/>
<!-- **** -->
But it does not work.
After use "sqlplus mvdemo/[email protected]:1522/pdborcl", it connected to the Oracle database 12c.
Does anyone know it?
Thanks,For 11.1.1.7.1 use the syntax for jdbc_sid, i.e.
//mypdb1.foo.com as described in the README,
- MapViewer native (non-container) data sources can now use database service name in place of SID. To supply a db service name, you will use the same jdbc_sid attribute, but specify the service name with double slashes in front, such as follows:
<map_data_source name="myds"
jdbc_host="foo.com"
jdbc_sid="//mypdb1.foo.com"
jdbc_port="1522"
/>
For 11.1.1.7.0 use a container_ds instead.
i.e. instead of using
<map_data_source name="my_12c_test"
jdbc_host="mydbinstance"
jdbc_sid="pdborcl12c"
jdbc_port="1522"
jdbc_user="mytestuser"
jdbc_password="m2E7T48U3LfRjKwR0YFETQcjNb4gCMLG8/X0KWjO00Q="
jdbc_mode="thin"
number_of_mappers="6"
allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="false"
editable="false"
/>
use
<map_data_source name="my_12c_test"
container_ds="jdbc/db12c"
number_of_mappers="6"
allow_jdbc_theme_based_foi="false"
editable="false"
/>
In my case the Glassfish 3.1.2.2 JDBC connection pool definition was
Property
url jdbc:oracle:thin:@mydbinstance:1522/pdborcl12c.rest_of.service.name
Uncheck the Wrap JDBC Objects option in Advanced panel, i.e. the Edit JDBC Connection Pool Advanced properties page.
Add a JDBC resource for that newly created pool
Use that in mapviewerconfig.xml as above

PR generated for materials although there is no demand.
Hi, I have a situation where the system's MRP run is generating PRs for few materials although we have open PO with quantity equal to the requirement for that particular material. What can be the reason behind such system behavior.
