"Set Reminder" inoperative after DVR recording

Hello All, I set the DVR via the website to record a movie. It worked fine, after stopping movie, and saving it for later, I exited the DVR menus. When I try to use the "Set Reminder" function in the TV Listings, a dialog box pops up asking me if I want to "record show, upcoming shows, exit". I rebooted the STB w/no results. This is happening on the DVR STB box itself, not on one of the either two HD STB's I have. I searched the Forums and Help extensively, and found null. I have yet to try any of the other STBs, and have not rebooted the router either. Ideas? Thanks In Advance, RJMac

DVRs do not have reminders - only the option to record. There are several threads here about his issue and it's possible Verizon will add this feature in some future update, but it has not been promised as a feature.

Set reminder on 7100-P2?

I'd like to know if the Motorola 7100-P2 HD Set-Top Box has a "set reminder" feature similar to the that on the SD box's. Does it have set reminder at all? If so, does it change to that channel on it's own if you don't respond? We occasionally use this feature to record something on a VCR if we're already recording 2 shows, and would like to upgrade the box in that room to HD but want to make sure it has this feature first.

The 2500(s), 6200(s) and 7100(s) should have the reminder function.... as this is a IMG function and not specific to the box. The only exception would be a DVR as its IMG is slightly different due to recording options.
Let me know if you have any other questions or run into an issue, I would be glad to look into it.

Did you already try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again? You will not lose data, but a reset can cure some glitches.
If this does not work, try to set it up as new device, explained in this article:
How to back up your data and set up as a new device
Don't use the backup afterwards, to rule out a software problem. If the camera is working again, restore from the backup.

Add horizontal line after each record

I have 10 records seperated by ID. I m using List in SSRS to show data on report. I need to add horizontal line after first record, then after second record till 10 th record. How do we add this line?

Per my understanding that you have add the tablix into the list and group on the "ID", now you want to add an horizontal line between each record which grouped by the ID like below, right?
If so, please reference to the details information below:
Select the entire rows and Right click to select the Insert row-Inside Group below to add an inside row group
Select the new added inside row group and set properties as below to make sure there is only display the black solid line on the bottom just like to add an horizontal line:

Set up Television Programs to record using website

The other day a verizon telephone repair tech told me that I could use the Verzion Web Site to setup and record television programs (instead of using the remote control and the set top box). This feature could be used when I am at work for instances and wanted to set up a program to record.

This is ancient history. Has been avaialable for several years from the MyVerizon TV website. You need to enable it from your DVR before it will function (available under the Settings DVR sub-menu).

Nothing plays back after I record

After I record some vocals on Logic Express 8.0.2, it won't let me go back and listen to them unless I go to Preferences and change something within it (buffer, device, etc.). And once I click apply changes it'll let me listen to it. But once I record again it happens all over again. It's pretty annoying and it takes up too much time. So I was wondering if anyone could help me out.

P.S. Is it possible to delete your Logic Express and then upload the same disc to your Mac again?

Now your answer clears it: Logic Express 8 doesn't have the feature of selecting different input/output devices. So, whenever your USB mic is selected as input device, Logic thinks "this is my input/output device". But well, a mic is no output device
You can solve this problem by creating an aggregate device within the audio-midi-setup utility in the applications/utilities folder (or simply spotlight for "audio midi") and it should find it.
Open the audio window, click on the plus sign to create a new device. Within this new device you can include your USB mic as input and your mac's built in output into one main (or "aggregate") device.
Hint: You'll need admin rights to set it up!
Then, you must select this newly created aggregate device as logic's input/output device. Be careful to select the correct inputs and outputs if you included all you mac's inputs into the device, too.

More X1 Cloud DVR Recording Problems

For the past week I have been having issues with random recordings not showing up on the X1 Cloud DVR. The recording will occur on the physical DVR but will not record to the Cloud DVR. Yesterday evening I had a total of 6 scheduled recordings, with 2 of them failing to record to the Cloud DVR at their scheduled time. I purposely watched the actual DVR and the Cloud DVR (using my Android phone and the Xfinity TV app) when the recordings were scheduled to start. The 2 recordings that failed to start recording to the Cloud DVR were:Big Brother (S17, Ep 20) Channel 1005 @ 8:01pBehind Bars: Rookie Year - Is It Worth It? (S1, Ep 1) Channel 1330 @ 9:01p As soon as I saw they had failed to start on the Cloud DVR, I used the Android app to find them in the "Guide Listings" and hit the Record button. Prior to my hitting the record button, neither showed the red recording indicator. As soon as I hit the record button, the recording then showed up in the "Recordings" list on the Android app and my PC. If a Comcast employee can look at my DVR recordings and my Cloud recordings you will see that both shows display but each now has a different start time being that it took me about a minute before I could get the recording to start on the Xfinity TV app and website. Now, on to the second problem that I have been having with Cloud DVR recordings. Some of the recordings fail to play with a Stream 500 error, and will not play on any computer, tablet or phone. Others give an Error 900.primetime.102100 code. This occurred when trying to play back "Behind Bars: Rookie Year: Is It Worth It?" This is the show that I had to start the manual recording for since it failed to record to the Cloud DVR even though it was scheduled. This show will not play on any PC using Chrome, IE, or the new Edge browser in Windows 10, Vista or 8.1. It will play on the Android app on my phone or tablet. After trying to play it and failing, I scheduled the show to record another time and it worked. Here is the diagnostics output when trying to play on Chrome. Since Comcast doesn't seem to want to acknowledge a problem between the X1 DVR and cloud DVR recording schedules, I decided to post this issue to it's own thread. Looking at my recording schedule, I see a bunch of shows I have scheduled for Wednesday (Aug 12, 2015) that are not showing up on the Xfinity TV app or website, but show up on the DVR and the DVR Manager website. As you can see below, out of the 4 shows I have scheduled to record, only 1 is showing up on the Xfinity TV app and website. Since I have seen this in the past, this will end up with those 3 missing shows not recording to the Cloud DVR. Since I already see that my Thursday, Aug 13th, schedule is screwed up as well, I will be posting that as well.

Voicemail is a cell phone carrier function. Contact your carrier to see if they have this option. If not, i'm sure you can download a sound file from the internet with a greeting and add your name. Then play it back on you PC while holding your iPhone near the speaker when recording the greeting to voicemail.

Execution does not end even after all records updated..

After 50 mins i can see that all records are updated but...
plsql code does not end its execution it continues even after all records are updated..untill i have to kill the session or let be run for long time.. :(
I can not understand why this it is not ending execution..
What could be the problem ...

Alternative Payee set up in vendor master record for payments....

I am facing the problem on alternative payee set up in vendor master record.
I have done the following settings but its not working.
1) Created alternative payee vendor (XYZ) and blocked for posting.
2) Created main vendor (ABCD) and given alternative payee vendor name (XYZ) in alternative payee field payment transactions tab of(general data + company code data) main vendor.
3) Created an invoice for main vendor (ABCD) using F-43.
4) Trying to make payment to main vendor (ABCD) in f-53. So when i simulate the document system supposed to show automatically the alternative payee vendor number . But itu2019s not showing and still making payment to main vendor not alternative payee.
Please help me to solve this issue. Is there any other settings need to be done to achieve this scenario (alternative payee).

1) i taken out the payment block for alternative vendor (XYZ) and tried again the above 3rd and 4th steps but still not working system paying to main verdor (ABCD) instead alternative payee(XYZ).
2) i blocked for payment posting the main vendor(ABCD) and tested same still not working.

Getting extra line after each record when opening a .txt file in excel

Hi All,
I have developed a program which downloads a file at application server.
each record of file is 500 characters long & have CRLF at end.
the file looks fine when opened in .txt format.
however when i download it from application server to presentation server (using function "download to my computer"), & at presentation when i try to open it in excel format, it shows a blank line after every record.
i don't want this blank line to appear if i download it & open it in excel.
the file record is declared as char500 type.
Please suggest how to deal with this.

Hi Puja,
Check the file in the application server whether it has any gaps between the lines.
Or else as you said if the file looks ok in .txt format, download the file in .txt and open the same file in excel (i.e. open with excel)

Can Not Use LAST Button to go Back to DVR Recording

My LAST button works fine from chanell to channel. I can be watching a DVR recording, and the box will go back to the live channel I was watcing when I hit LAST. If the LASt button is pressed again, it does NOT go back to DVR. I know with Comcast, the LAST button would go back and forth from live to DVR recordings.
Anyone found a work around for this? We be nice to go back and forth from DVR to live TV with just using the LAST button.

This is one of the few things I miss from Comcast. Monday nights I'll be watching 24 and recording Raw. I would always switch over to wrestling during the commercials on 24. A previous easy button press now requires navigating menus.
