Set reminder on 7100-P2?

I'd like to know if the Motorola 7100-P2 HD Set-Top Box has a "set reminder" feature similar to the that on the SD box's. Does it have set reminder at all? If so, does it change to that channel on it's own if you don't respond? We occasionally use this feature to record something on a VCR if we're already recording 2 shows, and would like to upgrade the box in that room to HD but want to make sure it has this feature first.

The 2500(s), 6200(s) and 7100(s) should have the reminder function.... as this is a IMG function and not specific to the box. The only exception would be a DVR as its IMG is slightly different due to recording options.
Let me know if you have any other questions or run into an issue, I would be glad to look into it.

"Set Reminder" inoperative after DVR recording

Hello All, I set the DVR via the website to record a movie. It worked fine, after stopping movie, and saving it for later, I exited the DVR menus. When I try to use the "Set Reminder" function in the TV Listings, a dialog box pops up asking me if I want to "record show, upcoming shows, exit". I rebooted the STB w/no results. This is happening on the DVR STB box itself, not on one of the either two HD STB's I have. I searched the Forums and Help extensively, and found null. I have yet to try any of the other STBs, and have not rebooted the router either. Ideas? Thanks In Advance, RJMac

DVRs do not have reminders - only the option to record. There are several threads here about his issue and it's possible Verizon will add this feature in some future update, but it has not been promised as a feature.

I have the same issue. I don't have, or have never had any Exchange account on the ipad. A simple yahoo email accout is the only one on it. I have turned off all restrictions, and restarted several times. Have yet to reset or restore, would just like to get rid of the passcode, but I can't......Thanks for any advice.

Hi , Since updating I can`t set an event or reminder as I have no + on the screen ?

I experienced today exactly the same scenario as steamachine. I updated my Powerbook G4 1Ghz from 10.3.9 to 10.4.0 with an install DVD using "Upgrade". Restarted, deleted cache files, fixed permissions, restarted. The server connect problem was then already there. Next, I executed a "Software Update" to 10.4.9, which unfortunately did not fix this issue.

How to set Reminder to vibrate?

Hi everybody, this is my first message in this forum
I installed the Reminder application on my Nokia C7. I noticed that it beeps even when I set the phone in "meeting", "vibration" or "silent mode". Ringtones and Reminder settings seem to be independent.
I would like to find an easy way to set the vibration or to deactivate the ringtones, both on the phone and on the Reminder. Now, when I am in a meeting, I have to switch off the ringtone first, then Reminder, and it takes too much time.
If it is not possible, which similar application would you suggest me?

You can click on Snooze when you get the alert, or you can set a second alert. There is not way to customize it.

How to set reminder that I am closing multiple tabs?

On another computer, I had set a reminder to warn me if I was
closing more then one tab. I cannot find a way to set this warning on a different computer.
Handicapped and need simple answer.

Can't record or set reminder on 037 Quest

I can Watch Quest but I can't record anything or set reminders. Quest+1 and all other channels ok as far as I can see. When I press Record or try to set a reminder literally nothing happens. Change channel and its fine.

I'm fairly certain that the root cause is incorrect EPG data for this channel but the Youview box appears to rely a lot on accurate EPG data so when its wrong the impact on Youview users appears more significant than other platforms.

Setting reminder with date on one line

On Mavericks, I can do this in reminders.app: "pick up milk today 7pm" and it creates a reminder "pick up milk" and sets the "remind me" properly to 7pm today.
On iOS 7 and iCloud's reminders.app - I haven't figured out how to do this with text. (Siri with iOS will).
I would like to learn if there is a way to do this with text.

No, you have to set the reminder info separately in iOS. Or just use Siri to do it for you.

Siri refuses to remind me of a set reminder

Hello all.
For some reason if I say, Siri remind me of a certain event at a certain time she'll come back and repeat what I said then ask me to confirm it. I confirm it but then she will not remind me. I can go into the reminders app and it's there but it is never turned on anymore. If I go to the reminder and manually turn it on then it'll work.
Why isn't Siri turning on the reminder? It sort of defeats the purpose of even having Siri if I have to do it manually.
Thanks in advance for any light you can shed on this.
Also I'd like to add that Siri will do everything else, call so and so or open an app or whatever else she does. This leads me to believe that it is something in the "reminders" that is out of whack.

Numbers and iCal don't have anyway to communicate natively. It is possible that a script could be written to do the job but it is beyond me. If you built a calendar in Numbers you could get it to highlight the day of. Seems easier just to use iCal.

How can I get an iCal calandar (that I've shared with someone) give me a reminder (standard) but the shared one should be silent (and no 'pup ups' as well)...

Set reminder and pop-up Warning

I am new to LabView.
I want to create a checkbox or something in LabView to remind the user to switch the board which is under testing the right place. If the user doesn't check the box, a warning pop up to tell the user not to forget the do this.
I think I may need to use a case structure. Others I don't know how to get it.
Can anyone help me?

You don't need to create a checkbox. This control already exists in the System palette. It's just a Boolean control, so you can easily check its state and display a dialog if it's true. For example, you can use the Display Message to User Express VI to display the message. It has an "enable" input that you can wire to the checkbox control.
