Set specific variant as standard in the repository infosystem

Hello,
in the search help of the point "Test Script" (Transaction "SECATT") i have created a new variant that should only show the active scripts .
How can i set this variant as standard variant which is shown when a user starts the search help?

You could make a KM document with these 3 hyperlinks and make a KM document Iview out of it.
Then in the Default Framework page, you can add this iView so that it always appears for everyone.

How can I fix it so that it syncs with the correct email account for notes and calendar? There don't seem to be any settings available other than to check if you want to use the basic features. It also said during the set up that it was setting up 'find my mac' but if I look on the iCloud website there is nothing showing there for finding my mac.
At this point I feel like I wasted my money paying for this supposed upgrade. I got nothing for it but frustration. It even automatically set my security settings to allow only downloads from the Mac store so the first time I went to download something I had to stop what I was doing and go correct settings first. I feel like there should be a security setting to block downloads from the Mac store so I don't accidentally end up clicking the wrong thing and being charged.

iCloud isn't syncing them on your phone. You simply added the email account to your phone and enabled calendar and notes syncing with the email provider, and the calendar and notes appear in the calendar and notes apps on your phone. You can do this with Gmail, Yahoo and other IMAP account. iCloud email is just another IMAP account, but syncs notes with Apple's iCloud server just as Gmail syncs notes and calendars with Google's server.
iCloud didnt' set up a non-iCloud account on your Mac. When you check Mail in System Preferences>iCloud, it only creates an iCloud email account. You can also add other email accounts to your Mac by going to System Preferences>Mail,Contacts,Calendars and clicking on the "+" sign on the bottom of the left sidebar. If you added these other email accounts to your Mac before you upgraded to Mountain Lion, these were simply maintained on your Mac after you upgraded.

Brrestore RMAN-20242: specification does not match any archived log in the repository

When trying to restore arvhive logs which are taken through netbackup with the following command brrestore -a se1-seqLast=path like in the image attached . It fails with the following image:

1) crosscheck archivelog all - when the error happens here, i think this means that there are no archived redo logs in the archivelog destination?? ..or something to that nature.
2) crosscheck copy - not sure what the other errors mean here.
specification does not match any archived log in the repositoryI don't see the error here, it's only a msg that mean : There is no files on XXX destination, which is normal when no files found.

Lh setRepo - unable to set the repository

I have two instances of IdM *"IdM_1"* and *"IdM_2"* installed on my tomcat-webapps.I have my repository running on MySQL.
Initially I had only one repository database - "waveset" for both "IdM_1" and "IdM_2".
Now i have created another repository database "waveset2" and i want my "IdM_2" to point to "waveset2".
i have tried to doing this using setRepo:
-tmysql -ujdbc:mysql://localhost/waveset2 -jorg.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver -Uwaveset2 -Pwaveset2 -oD:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 6.0\webapps\idm_2\WEB-INF\ServerRepository.xml
I dont find any error excuting this setRepo, but the point is when i check "IdM_2" i see its still pointing to waveset.
do i need to change anythin more in any configuration files to take this effect of pointing to waveset2 repo

Hi charan,
Forgot to tell you one more thing. That is, you can try another way of doing the same. Instead of trying to use the lh setRepo command, try using the lh setup command. When you see the initial screen for repository change the repository name from waveset to waveset_2 or whatever be the name of your new repository.
Once this is done go through the remaining screens without changing a thing and click the FINISH button. And do remember before doing all these do add the path of the new IDM instance to the WSHome variable and once done proceed to do the above.

How to read the configuration of tree table from the variant of Personalization of the Tree UIBB?

Hi Experts !
I have created an application using Tree UIBB to display the list output along with personalization property. The user can save the settings of the output table such as shuffling of column position and hiding / display of columns in the variant.
The export to excel button gives the output as per the current variant but I need to develop a custom export to excel button, on action of which I need to read the currently selected variant and the visble columns from the variant.
I found that CL_FPM_TREE_ASSISTANCE gets the variant and columns from the personalization object, however, I am unable utilize it in my custom code.
Please help or suggest any class which I can utilize.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard for the Mac?

Okay, I apologize for what may appear to be a frightfully stupid question, but is there an Acrobat 9 Standard for the Macintosh? There appears to be support files and such for Adobe 9 Pro for the Mac available, but whenever I search for the Adobe 9 Standard, all I can seem to come up with is the Windows version...?
If not, and if for some unknown reason, they aren't updating the two version numbers in sync with each other, what's the most recent version of Acrobat Standard for the Mac? Or will I be stuck with 9 Pro as my only option, and end up having to pay for the additional features I don't need?

Honestly, if you are creating a PDF, say in a Business setting, to go on a website. Except when it specifically meant to go to a Printer. Do you need the Print Press Stuff??
More bang for the Buck would create a Version For Print press industry.
Then Have then the pro version have the PDF forms Creation stuff that available in PC only now.
The feature set that was in Acrobat 5 is a much better fit. If someone need Print Press features sell it as a $50.00-100.00 add-on.
There are some features related to Print press I never have used. But I got them because I needed forms creation for the Web.

Question: Saving Image Files In The Repository

I have a few image files that I have saved in the Crystal Repository. It works nicely and I've tested it pretty thoroughly to make sure that connected images update across the board. It's a convenient little feature.
Here's my question ... when you save an image file to the repository, it automatically converts the image file to a Bitmap file type. Bitmaps greatly increase the size of whatever .rpt file uses the iimage. My standard .rpt files go from about 240K to 3.4 megs. This isn't really the biggest deal in the world, but I was wondering if there is a setting that I can check that will have the repository files automatically save in JPEG format, or just keep thier original format (JPEG in this case).
Any thoughts? Or are we stuck with the Bitmap format? If so, this might be a good subject for a 'feature request' post.

something. Also - is the Data Connection user name and password the Enterprise user name or the database user name?

Set dynamic variant for time

I have selection options for field as defined as TIME . I need to set dynamic variant for this field as
TIME should be "from"='current time-30 minutes' and "to"='24:59:59'.
This report going to run in 00 hours and 30 hours (48 times ie 24 X 2)
PS : Pl. remember this is for a SAP standard report

(This custom program will using the following function module RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS, and RS_VARIANT_CHANGE , So get the DEFAULT variant content of program A and change the variant content with LOW as current time - 30 and HIGH with 24:59:59) as preceding job.
In PI 7.01 system program A always called in JOB mode

Could you please confirm if you could save a new report as well or not; or is it specific to scheduling.
If you are unable to save a report also then I think this is due to the path of the Input File Repository Server or its temporary directory are not pointing to the same path, and their locations are set to 2 different hard drives
BOXI3.1 Server must use the same hard drive (local or network share) for the Input File Repository Server and its temporary directory.

OOP ALV - Setting specific records as editable

Hello everyone,
Is there a way for an ALV grid/OOP ALV to set certain fields as editable?
I have tried setting specific columns as editable through field catalog setup, but I don't need all records of that column to be editable. I just need specific records to be editable. Is this possible with ALV or I have no other choice but to use Table Control?

Set up Oracle Customer Standard (R12) in JDeveloper

We need to add some extensions to the Customer Standard > Site Details OAF screen. I am trying to get it up and running on my local client PC in JDeveloper but i am missing the parameters needed to launch it directly. I can launch the Customer Standard > Search form, search for a user, and click on the results to get to the customer overview screen. When I click on a specific address details icon I get an error so I'm hoping to jump direct to the site details screen if possible.

Set up Oracle Customer Standard (R12) in JDeveloper. Rebuild and run the oracle.apps.ar.cusstd.srch.webui.ArPrtySrchPG.xml. Search for a user (person). Select the user to go to the overview screen. Scroll down and click a details link for an address. The following error is displayed.

Variant network depending on the value of the characteristics.

I want to create a project from a sales order for a configurable material. The problem is that the network should be slightly different depending on the value of the characteristics used in the configurable material. For example, it could happen that one operation should not be executed, or that this operation should take longer because of the characteristics.
How should I proceed?

Thanks for your answers, but I needed a more specific answer. Anyway, in the end I found the solution:
- I had to create a configuration profile for the standard network (CU41), and then I had to assign the same class as the one assigned to the configuration profile of the configurable material.
- Then, I run t-code CN02, and I had to select one operation and then I clicked "Extras --> Object Dependencies --> Editor". And finally, I just chose the dependency type and filled it with its corresponding code.
Still, I have a problem:
- Is it possible to set the value of the Normal Duration (or any other parameter of the operation) depending on the value of one characteristic?
For example: The value of my characteristic A is 2, so I want to set Normal Duration = 10*(Value_of_A) = 20 for the first operation of the standard network. Is it possible in standard SAP???

Apple maps has received a poor performance rating just after introduction of the iPhone 5. I am running google maps app on the phone. Siri cannot seem to get me to a specific address. Where does the problem lie? Thanks.

Apple maps has received a poor performance rating just after introduction of the iPhone 5. I am running Google Maps app on the phone. SIRI cannot seem to get me to a specific address. Where does the problem lie? Also can anyone tell me the hierarchy of use between the Apple Maps, SIRI, and Google maps when the app is on the phone? How do you choose one over the other as the default map usage? Or better still how do you suppress SIRI from using the Apple maps app when requesting a "go to"?
I have placed an address location into the CONTACTS list and when I ask SIRI to "take me there" it found a TOTALLY different location in the metro area with the same street name. I have included the address, the quadrant, (NE) and the ZIP code into the CONTACTS list. As it turns out, no amount of canceling the trip or relocating the address in the CONTACTS list line would prevent SIRI from taking me to this bogus location. FINALLY I typed in Northeast for NE in the CONTACTS list (NE being the accepted method of defining the USPS location quadrant) , canceled the current map route and it finally found the correct address. This problem would normally not demand such a response from me to have it fixed but the address is one of a hospital in the center of town and this hospital HAS a branch location in a similar part of town (NOT the original address SIRI was trying to take me to). This screw up could be dangerous if not catastrophic to someone who was looking for a hospital location fast and did not know of these two similar locations. After all the whole POINT of directions is not just whimsical pasttime or convenience. In a pinch people need to rely on this function. OR, are my expectations set too high?
How does the iPhone select between one app or the other (Apple Maps or Gppgle Maps) as it relates to SIRI finding and showing a map route?
Why does SIRI return an address that is NOT the correct address nor is the returned location in the requested ZIP code?
Is there a known bug in the CONTACTS list that demands the USPS quadrant ID be spelled out, as opposed to abreviated, to permit SIRI to do its routing?

siri will only use apple maps, this cannot be changed. you could try google voice in the google app.
