i wanna change the icons in my project (window icon ,button icon , .....)
with the property icon filename ...
but
1- i don't know what is the default path ??
2- how to place all icons in the application folder
" what application folder " ?????
3- how to add the same path into registry ?????
4- i don't find the d2kwutil.pll library "i use forms 9i"......
please help me ,,,, to solve that problem !!

Shenouda,
you are starting to confuse people by submitting the same question over and over again. The basic information is that you are on Forms9i. This means that setting icons teh client-server way is no longer possible (see my answers to the same question you asked before).
D2kwutil does not exist for Forms9i because its client-server library. Get WebUtil from otn.oracle.com/products/forms instead

When I open an existing document it always open too small, I resize it but next time I open it it's small again! Please help! I used to be able to resize them then they stayed that size until I resized it no matter how many times I opened and closed it before upgrading to 3.0!!!!

How do I set the Launch window size (from launch from an LMS) in Captivate 5.5?

When my project launches from the LMS, the lauch window is smaller that the actual project size and requires the user to resize the window to see the whole project. My LMS administrator tells me that the launch window size is not controlled by the LMS so I am trying to figure out how I can set this to match the project dimensions.

The size of the browser window CAN be controlled by the LMS, but some LMSs are hopeless in this area and don't provide the settings to do so.
Moodle for example allows you to specify that the course content will open in a new window each time an item in the LMS TOC is clicked and what the height and width of that window will be. However, all versions of SumTotal before the latest one did not give you this option (and that despite the exhorbitant price difference between these two products.)
So your LMS admin might be correct in that HIS particular LMS cannot control the size of the launch window, but that's not because no LMS can do this.

How can I set the finder window to open the same way every time?

Everytime I open Finder it goes back to it's default view which is just too small, but I want to set the finder columns and window so that they open the same exact way every single time. I'm tired of resizing everything.
Currently I have to resize every window and column everytime and I think my work is much slower then when I was on Windows because of it.
Is there a setting, script, file, patch, anything, is there absolutely anything I can do to actually control the Finder views and make them adjust to MY criteria and stay that way...

That is a big negative. That does absolutely nothing other then close my window, next time the finder window is opened then the column widths are small again.

Muse form is not working on godaddy and no error message indicating a php error is occuring. Could something else be wrong? Do I have to manually set the form once loaded to go daddy to direct through their mail form system?

I have read in multiple places on the forum that muse forms are now supported on third party platforms. however I am having a very difficult time getting mine to work on Godaddy. They seem to no longer have the "form mailer" option and told me to look at this PHP: mail - Manual to make the forms work. Muse is not giving any error messages indicating that there is a problem on the go daddy end, the form appears to function but no message is received at email address. can anyone help troubleshoot this for me.

Thanks for getting back to me. So, I tried changing the address as Sanjit suggested, and yes an error message came up. But then I tested Brad's theory and looks like the form works with another email address other than that of the actual website email:( So I guess based on Brad's link I should reroute the form to the other (non-godaddy) email...or contact go-daddy to see if they can correct this? Would that be the final answer?

Html:select doesnt set the form property if there is no option tag

I have a select box that I am dynamically populating through ajax.
I have it populated in the create screen. I save the form elements saved. I am able to get the data on a detail screen when i do a bean:write
But when i try to see the selected element on the edit screen. The bean doesnt get populated
Here is my code:

Can somebody help me with this. If i do an alert of region in javascript it is empty though the form element has a value.
If I remove the entire select code and use a html:hidden fot the property. It alerts me with the value.

Having issues with setting the "Active Window"

I've got a LV installation that runs three LV created EXE's simultaneously. In the "top level" application, the user enters a product model number (by way of a PS2 barcode scanner) to be tested, and that application looks at our network to see if there is a test recipe for the product. If there is, it hides and moves itself to the bottom and maximizes and moves to the top EXE number two. On EXE number two, the user is supposed to scan the product serial number. But on occasion, EXE number two is not the active window, even though it is the frontmost and maximized, so the scan from the barcode reader doesn't go into the field. (Looking at the Taskbar at the bottom of the screen, the task for the frontmost & maximized EXE is not "depressed") A simple mouse click anywhere on the window will make it active, but the users don't have a mouse (or keyboard) (I am able to "remote in" from another computer using a product line "PC Anywhere). I have tried using the "mouse_event" from user32.dll in a "Call Library Function Node", but that doesn't seam to work reliably.
So my first question is, will the "mouse_event" from user32.dll even fire if my computer doesn't have a mouse plugged in?
And, if not, does anyone have any better ideas?

I'm guessing that it would, because Windows has a cursor even if there's no mouse plugged in, but I haven't tried it.

How can I set the default window location in calendar to my second monitor?

After installing Mavericks, Calendar always opens its windowed centered in my main monitor. I move it to where I want it (upper left, second monitor) but when I quit the program, the location reverts to the original location. Is there a .plist I need to edit?

The "quit calendar" fix does not endure after the next logout or restart.
In System Preferences, in the Mission Control Pane, unchecking "Displays have separate spaces" causes the windowing behavior to revert to pre-Mavericks behavior. Applications open in the previously used window. Applications with windows on multiple monitors re-open with correctly located windows. However, all the behavior reverts, so you can't run multiple full screen applications on different monitors, nor is there a tool bar at the top of secondary monitors.

I am running Form9i, I have set the browser windows title from Web Forms dynamically by using following method. However, when my PC has changed to XP, the function seems not work. Does anybody have same problem and how to solve it? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Be advised that this solution will also exit the form without saving the changes and asking anything if the user did make changes.
You're probably changing some field from a PL/SQL trigger (hint: post-query or when-new-record-instance are likely). If you set the value of a field from a trigger or program unit that also marks the record as changed for Forms. Forms will then ask to save the changes when exiting the form.
If you want to prevent this, reset the record status after you change the field in the PL/SQL code.

Removing the side lines from forms window

Hi,
I am running forms 11g.
When I run the forms, a rectangle window gets created in which there is canvas.
The window shows side lines (so that we can see the shape of the window).
Is there anyway to hide/remove those lines as they dont look too good in browser based app.

Well, I suspect there won't be any easy way to hide the window frame. Every window has a visible boarder. It may be possible to write a pjc that can override the coloring of the frame, but unfortunately I have no example of how to do this. Another option might be to use an inline frame (iframe) to display the entire form. Basically, you would create an html file which includes an iframe and the source of that frame will be your form. Create the frame slightly smaller than the form. Make the form's window not movable (in the Builder). It might also be necessary to set the form's window X/Y position to a negative value, for example -2. This would cause the left and top side to fall behind the iframe. The bottom and right side will be covered by the fact that the iframe is smaller than the form. So, the html part might be something like this:

How do I set the window size of a course in SumTotal (LMS)

I recently created an AICC course using Captivate 5.5 for a client using SumTotal as their LMS. When the client loads the course, the course launchs in a window that is smaller than the course itself; the user then has to adjust the window size to view the entire course. I have read on various posts that this cannot be controlled by myself through the .htm file settings, and that this has to be set within the LMS.
So my question is: Where and how does the client set the course window size within SumTotal? Does anyone know?!

No, edit the html files that come with Captivate. Either hand edit the
html file that is produced every time you publish, or locate the files
in the Captivate 5 directory and customise them to suite your needs.
