Set the language in the Webinterface of SkypeConne...

Currently I "communicate" in Dutch via the webinterface with SkypeConnect/SkypeManager.
For our customers I want to include screendumps with specific settings. These screendumps should be in English. How can I change the language to English in this case?

Hello EDouma,
I see you want to change the language setting for your Skype Web Page.
I the very top of your www.skype.com screen, there is a Current Language setting with a down arrow to the right.  Click that down arrow and you will see all of the Languages we support.  If you click English, the language will change to English.  When you want to switch back, just click on that down arrow again and switch.
I hope we have answered you question on changing Languages while in the Skype webpage.
Thank you for using Skype and the Skype Community Forums.

  • Setting the language of the work item

    Hi gurus,
    Does anybody know if it is possible to set the language of the workitem in the workflow to a different language than the log on language? By adding an extra step maybe?

    Hi Tugrul Basar
    The language of a workitem (BOR Object WORKITEM) is set in SWWWIHEAD when the workitem is instantiated as a database attribute, so the bad news is there is no clean method to do this.
    But, you can put some extra logic in the workitem description to enable different languages, even though the language attribute in the object is set to logon language of WF-BATCH user.  In simple terms, you create a standard text (in SO10) for your new language texts and then put a case statement in the description.  Use exactly the same method and syntax as you would for SAPScript.

  • Set a language on the portal application

    Dear All,
    How I can write code to set a language on the portal application?
    thanks in advance,
    Marcelo Osako

    Hi Marcelo,
    I assume you mean how to change language for a single iView only. For changing overall language, the user can just go to the portal personalize page.
    For an iView, you can do a lookup of the iView and change the language, like so:
    InitialContext iCtx = null;
    String personalHello = "portal_content/DanielContent/DanRole/danWS/hello";
    try {
       iCtx = new InitialContext(env);
       IiView myIView = (IiView)iCtx.lookup(personalHello);
       myIView.putAttribute("ForcedRequestLanguage","de");
       myIView.save();
    You would have to do a personalized JNDI lookup, so the language is only changed for the user. However, this would permanently change the page for this user.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I change the language of the calendar I want to create?

    I saw a few threads on this issue, but none that actually answered my question.  To make a long story short, I want to create a Calendar for a French speaking friend.  I switched my system language to French, so Lion and iPhoto '11 are running in French.  But when I try to create a calendar, the months are all in English.  I tried this on my MacBook running Lion and on my iMac running Snow Leopard, with identical results: the interface of the OS and iPhoto '11 is in French but the months are in English.  Any idea what I'm missing?  Thanks in advance.
    Daniel

    You're right.  I had done only part of the setting changes that were required.  On tob of changing the language of the OS, I also had to chose "Language & Text" and then select the correct Region in the next window.  I hope this will also help others.  Thanks!

  • How can I get the language of the user logged on using only DI API?

    Hello,
    how can I get the language of the user logged on using only DI API,
    without invoking the UI?
    Can I read the value from some table using sql?
    I could write to file the first user's connection to the language code in SAP and then use it from external program, but I do not like this solution ...
    I know only this possibility:
            '_SboCy ==> SAPbobsCOM.Company
            '_SboCys ==> SAPbobsCOM.CompanyService
            '_SboApp ==> SAPbouiCOM.Application
            CodLng Dim As String = ""
            Dim lng As SAPbobsCOM.UserLanguages _SboCy.GetBusinessObject = (BoObjectTypes.oUserLanguages)
            If lng.GetByKey (_SboApp.Language) Then
                codLng = lng.LanguageShortName
                'Etc. ..
            End If
            lng = Nothing
    Thanks

    Hi Enrico,
    The language settings are held on the user's Windows profile and not in the database. In SBO 2007A onwards there is an XML file that is created by the SBO client (previous versions stored the information in the registry). The file is called b1-current-user.xml and you'll find it in the temporary application data under the user's profile (by default this will be C:\Documents and Settings\<profile>\Local Settings\Application Data\SAP\SAP Business One for Windows XP). This XML file contains a node that looks like the following:
    <leaf kind="single" name="Language" type="String">
         <value>8</value>
    </leaf>
    where the value is the language id that should correspond to the same setting in the DI API. If your application will always run on a workstation where the SBO client is installed then you could read this XML file. Of course, this file may not exist for a particular Windows user if they have never opened the SBO client so you'd need to have a default setting.
    If you application will be installed on a workstation which doesn't have an SBO client installed on it then there is no way to tell what default language to use and you'll need to build this logic in to your own application (eg have a screen where the user can choose their preferred langauge and then store this as a config file in a similar way to how the SBO client works).
    Kind Regards,

  • Switching the language of the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" plugin

    Good day everyone,
    I would like to ask about configuring the language of the "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" plugin:
    - I have "Crystal Reports for Eclipse" version: 2.0.7.r1040
    - I have installed the language packs 1 and 2
    - Currently, the Crystal Reports perspective and the associated views are displayed in German.
    - I would like to switch these views back to English.
    Questions:
    1. How can I switch the language?
    2. Will this switching of the language have any known side effect on the existing reports, because some of the reports in my current project are displayed in German?
    Thank you in advance for your support.
    Best regards,
    Samar

    Hello everyone,
    I have found a solution for this question that I would like to share with you.
    - Browse the Control Panel
    - Open the Regional and Language Options
    - In the Regional Options tab under the Standards and formats group, select the Locale that you prefer.
    - *Restart Eclipse* and the Crystal Reports plugin would read the changed setting and display the Crystal Reports perspectives and views in the language of the selected Locale.
    Best regards,
    Samar

  • Change the language of the links

    I have, reading instructions on the forum, mananged to change the font, size and colors on the links: "Back to album", "Play slideshow" etc. But I really want to change what it says - change the language of the links. Is this possible?

    What wyodor is saying is correct but remember that if you open that site in iweb again and you are on another language it will revert.
    I have a site that needs to be all in french, I use a second user account on my mac and I keep one account with the settings in one language and the other in french. It keeps me from having to change the user's setting all the time and also from opening the site accidentally in the wrong language. Just a suggestion in case this could work for you as well.

  • Why has the language for the texts on my iphone changed to French?

    iphone has gone mad. The language for the texts has switched to french. The keyboard is the french layout, despite under settings>general>international>language being set to english and keyboard under ...settings>general>international>keyboard>english (UK)>being QWERTY.....which it isn't. It means the auto correct is a nightmare. Any help gratefully received.

    To be honest these are the solutions that may or may not work.
    First thing I would try is rebooting the phone by holding the sleep/wake button and home button for 15 seconds until you see the white apple logo.
    If that doesn't work I would restore from backup. If that doesn't work I would restore as new. If all else fails take it to your closest apple store they may replace the phone for a working one..

  • How can I change the language in the dictionary preferences of Indesign by AppleScripting

    Hi Everyone,
    I am new to applescripting and it's usage in Adobe Indesign.
    I am trying to working on a requirement, where I need to make the language of Indesign document to "English: USA" in the dictionary preferences.
    I tried to change the language in the preferences but somewhere this code is going wrong.
    Any help and suggestions would be very helpful.
    tell application "Adobe InDesign CS4"
      change text preferences of dictionary
              set applied language to "English:USA"
    end tell
    Thanks in advance!
    Abhishek

    Hi,
    Thanks for looking into it.
    Yes indeed it works..
    However, can we change the "Adobe Custom Dictionary" through apple script so that language of dictionary preferences gets changed. (if that happens).
    I noticed that when we go to path:
    Indesign---->Preferences---> Dictionary
    The default dictionary has a path in our system library.. (I am still a learner so it's a new thing for me.. )..
    The path changes from UK to US dictionary as:
    '~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Linguistics/Dictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/brt--------------> For UK DICTIONARY
    '~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Linguistics/Dictionaries/Adobe Custom Dictionary/eng--------------> For US DICTIONARY
    Is it possible that by changing the path we can change the default dictionary in preferences of AppleScript through scripting in Apple.
    Just thought whether this can be a possibilty!
    Would appreciate if someone can suggest and help me out of here.
    Thanks in advance!

  • ¿How can I change the language of the film I want to buy?

    Hi,
    So, I'm new to all the buying-on-iTunes experience and have a doubt regarding the language of the film I'd be about to buy. The thing is I live in Germany and was about to buy a film on iTunes —for the first time as currently stated— but I wouldn't like to have the film dubbed in german —which is how they normally have them here—, instead, I'd like to have it in its original language; english. ¿How could I do this? ¿Is it even possible to change the language even though I'm on the german store/live in Germany? Thanks in advance.
    SebastiánRojas

    HI there,
    Just bought an Apple TV from the France Apple store.  I've got a few films that I've purchased from the iTunes store too.  The ones I've purchased there are both in English and French.  Not all films are done in two languages but it seems that if the original version is in English, then it will have both.
    As for switching between two languages, I just ran into that problem.  I sent the video from my laptop to the Apple TV.  On my computer it would play in English but played on the TV, it would play only in French.
    Solution, you don't have a simple menu icon to click on, or button on the Apple TV remote.  You'll have to go into settings --> audio and video  -- >  Audio Language (or subtitle language if you are looking for that).
    If it is set to "Default" it chooses the language you hear.  I heard French probably because I bought the film in the French iTunes store.  When I chose "English" as the Audio Language, the film switched to English.
    I hope this helps you and others who run into the same question.

    If you have tried changing the settings to the language you desire, you need to do a hard resget to the language you require

  • How can I change the language of the quiz popup "select more answers" in iBooks author?

    Hi all,
    I am relatively new to iBooks author. I've been creating a quiz with multiple answers. When I review my iBook on my iPad and only select one answer, it shows me a popup with the text "select more answers". Does anyone know how to change the language of that box? I'm working in German, iBooks author is set to German... I just can't figure out how I can change the language of that box.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Yes, what you see in the popup when viewing the book in the iBooks app is supposed to take on the language of the OS.  I don't know why it would not work on your iPad....

  • How can I change the language of the App Store application for my ipod touch?

    How can I change the language of the App Store application for my ipod touch?

    These instructions are for changing the language for the Ipod Touch, but they don't change the language for the App store and the Reminders Application.
    I think these two might be driven by the IP address of your location.  In my case, I am in Spain and have my Ipod Touch set to English, but for the App store and Reminders, it appears in Spanish.
    I would like to be able to change them to English if possible.  I don't see any options within those applications to make this change.
    Does anyone know how to make these changes?
    Many thanks.

  • How do I change the language on the "My Adobe" website to English?

    How do I change the language on the "My Adobe" website to English?

    If you accidentally set iPod nano to use a language you don’t understand
    You can reset the language.
    1. From the Home screen, tap Settings.
    2. Tap the third menu item from the top (General).
    3. Flick to the end of the list and tap the last menu item (Language).
    4. Tap your language, and then tap the button at the top of the menu (Done).
    You can also reset all settings (your synced content isn’t deleted or modified). Tap Settings, then tap the last item in the menu (Reset Settings), and then tap the red button (Reset).
    If you can’t recognize the Reset Settings menu item, you can restore iPod nano to its original state and choose a language. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page 70 of the iPod Nano manual. Here is a download link for the manual:
